This here is the link for my ko-fi page! I'm currently in a bit of a rut right now financially and decided to make this until I'm able to get back on my feet. I have a lot of cosplans and convention goals for this year and next but I'm afraid I won't be able to meet these goals. Every donation goes towards cosplans, hotel, and travel costs. It would mean the world to me! Cosplay is a huge coping outlet for me when it comes to my depression and anxiety. I also LOVE doing it just for the sake of having fun. However my main reason for loving and wanting to cosplay is to make the kids I see at conventions happy by making their favorite characters come to life. Thank you so much!! 💜

I fear I shall not be at PARF today. Instead, I will be at the Pittsburgh Ren Fest for the first time. The Crimson Pirates are performing there this weekend, you see, and I do so love that group. If by some insane coincidence any followers are here as well, you can find me at any and all Crimson Pirate shows, decked out in the black and red style of the band, complete with an eyepatch.
It remains to be seen whether this will feel like cheating on a conscious lover.
#don't worry i'll be back#we chose this weekend because we can go to a different faire and still catch two days of our faire#we picked the the other faire based purely on where the crimson pirates would be#where's parf-fan#the crimson pirates#prf#pitt renfest#pitt ren fest#pittsburgh renaissance festival#renaissance festival#ren fest#renfest#here's a health to the queuempany

Heavy sweating cuz
now that I’ve reached my dream of getting into Tekko’s AA a couple times
I kinda want my new goal
to be getting into the Pittsburgh Ren Fest..........
#i could make nerd things for nerds#in cosplay of sorts#/in a more socially acceptable setting/#there's nothing wrong with cons and i'll still do them!#but being in a more normal setting (tho i fail to see the difference between being a magic/medieval nerd and an anime nerd) would mean#i'd be taken more seriously as an artist and businessperson#again not that people have turned up their noses at my con work#idk i feel like it would open more doors as a completely different setting#maybe that's what i wanna get out of it#aside from getting to vend in another space that holds a lot of personal meaning#little jem's dreams and ideas deserve to be validated#blabbins

Humankindness tour and coronavirus update: most shows are still happening but will be kept small; 8 new events added(!) and one date change. Festivals are making critical decisions and as of this writing my festivals are still on as scheduled (Tampa Bay Area Renaissance Festival, Zen Awakening, Pyro Music and Arts Festival, Electric Forest, Cowpie Music Festival). For my own solo/club shows, I am hereby keeping them small: capping them at the lower of 99 people versus half the venue capacity. I believe we can still come together and enjoy a shared transformative experience - and we can be safe at the same time. Everyone involved in a show has a choice. The Venue may choose to cancel or postpone a show, as has happened with Bell's Brewery (our show has been moved back to July 25th). You have a choice, and may join us, or cancel - refunds will be provided, no questions asked and no offense taken. My choice is to proceed with caution: to still offer concert experiences to you in a small and prudent way, and to continue to monitor the situation and adapt as we learn more. Comments, suggestions welcome and thanks everyone for keeping a level head as we work through this together ❤️!🙏 With love and in service, - Dixon
