Setting up for a sale at the house in November is complicated. Halloween is now in a trailer. The old fridge that was sitting on the porch is scrapped. The yard was raked and cut the tent put up. Tables and shelves installed and we got some of our lovely local friends to come help shuttle pottery to the tent. Tomorrow we’ll have fresh pieces from the kiln. We’ll rearrange everything and set up the extra tables. Then do our best to tidy up our house full of doom boxes to prepare for our visitors and customers on Saturday morning. Handles and trimming again today. Also some grandchild time. There are still about 8 to trim and 40 to get handles. Some will happen tomorrow and hopefully on Wednesday I can get a solid days work in. Though mugs are in high demand I have plates, goblets and yarn bowls on my order list too! Today was a very special day in the studio. Our grandson Jaxon came for the weekend and he missed the studio a lot he spent a couple hours there this morning and a couple hours later this afternoon.
