Imagine you and Stacie painting Pieter's nails
With narrowed eyes, you took the nail polish brush out of the bottle, making sure to wipe of the excess polish on the edge, and moved it to your boyfriend’s nails. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to steady yourself, you let the brush make contact with Pieter’s nails as you moved the brush downward, watching with a pleased smile as the color began showing.
When Pieter had told you and Stacie that Das Sound Machine had booked a performance in the upcoming weeks, the two of you jumped at the chance to help him prepare for it though there wasn’t really much you both could do. Pieter had the choreography and lyrics down down to a T and the outfit for the performance was safely and carefully packed in his suitcase along with everything else he would need for the drive there. Now all that was left was for Pieter to get ready himself and do touch up. His hair and makeup would have to wait until the day of the performance but his two girlfriends could help him do his nails which had them jumping at the opportunity with glee.
Stacie was focusing on his left hand while you did his right hand. You had finished his thumb and pointer finger and were now working on his middle finger. You were just about to finish the second coat when the hand underneath your own moved unexpectedly causing you to smudge the polish, a clump forming on his nail.
"Pieter!" Putting the nail polish brush back inside the bottle, you gave your boyfriend a pointed look as he scratched his nose. With a shake of your head, you began looking looking for a cotton ball and the nail polish remover to redo your work. “You could have told me or Stacie that your nose was itchy.”
“Sorry, liebling.” He said. Once you were sitting back where you were, he leaned forward - though careful to not move his left hand as to not mess Stacie up - and kissed your forehead. “I’ll make sure to do so next time.”
Though you tried holding your frown, the smile you were struggling to hide made it clear to Pieter that he was forgiven. Hearing his other girlfriend clear her throat, he turned his head to look at her. Stacie had stopped painting his nails, her lips puckered as she stared at him, waiting for her kiss from the German. A chuckle left him but he gladly leaned forward and pecked her lips. “I would never forget about you, hasilein. Thank you both for helping me.”

hi I love your jesse Swanson x reader stories. Loved them!! If you're still doing requests, could I request a jesse Swanson x reader where the reader is also a singer and is in the bellas and do the part in pitch perfect 1 where they do the riff off and Jesse sings feels like the first time and do the reader rapping instead of beca?
Pretty Boy | Jesse Swanson
Tumblr media
pairing: jesse swanson x fem!reader
fandom: pitch perfect
a/n: hii thank u for the req and sorry for taking so long i was ia for a bit, i only changed the ending bc i dont like the song because beca raps (dont attack me) hope u like it<3
"Come on, sing along," Chloe chirped, gesturing for Y/N to join the Bellas as they prepared. Y/N just shook her head, feeling anxious, riff of, what they called it wasn't her thing. But Chloe didn't seem to notice.
"Nah, I'm good," Y/N said, attempting to be polite. Chloe just nodded in response and flashed a smile of support as she joined her friends
Y/N noticed Jesse gazing at her, and she stared right back with a curious expression. Jesse cracked a mischievous smile, then madr a thumbs-down gesture and mouthed, "You're going down."
Y/N giggled as she let loose a playful blow kiss right at him. only for him to catch the kiss midair and press it against his heart
Y/N was relieved that it was night and that Jesse was too far away from her to notice her blushing. But this exchange had not gone unnoticed by Aubrey, who had been watching their whole interaction from the beginning.
"Go, Stacy!" She cheered for her closest friend as she stole the spotlight from Donald. Everyone's eyes were on her
"Baby, all through the night I'll make love to you," Fat Amy chimed in, but Jesse stepped in front of her, stopping her mid-song.
"And I guess it's just the woman in you," he sang, making the Belles groan. The rest of the group made their way to their designated spots, grumbling in protest.
"That brings out the man in me" he pointed at Y-Y/N smiling
"Idiot" she muttered trying to hide her grin
"It feels like the first time" he continued singing, opening his jacket to show his chest. He placed his hand on his heart just like before and winked at her
"Feels like the very first time"
Y/N didn't understand where her newfound confidence was coming from, but she suspected the drinks she had earlier might be playing a part. Yet, she was also convinced Jesse was behind her feelings. Without giving it any thought, she charged towards Jesse, eager to take advantage of the moment.
"it feels like the first time-"
"It's like everytime they turn the lights down," Y/N cut him off with a sly smirk and Jesse's eyes widened in amusement. He backed away and gave Y/N the spotlight with a round of applause. "just wanna go that extra mile for you"
She looked at the crowd and everyone was staring at her confused, even the Bellas.
'extra mile..?" Aubrey muttered trying to remember the song
Y/N was now regretting her decision as everyones eyes were on her, even the Bellas weren't backing her up
'Seriously does no one know this song' she thought to herself
Jesse's encouraging smile gave her the confidence she needed to dive back into the song "Go on,"
"We can get down," Y/N sang, now more in tune "Like there's no one around"
Amy and Stacey both gasped as they began to understand what Y/N was singing. Stacey had already joined in the song, her voice perfectly harmonizing with Y/N's. The two Belles' vocals blended together seamlessly, now with Amy joining them
"We keep on rockin' we keep on rockin"
"Cameras are flashin'" Amy made camera noises towards Emma and Stacey as they grinded on each other "while we're dirty dacing"
Jesse let out a sharp "woah" as Emma danced. One of the Treblemakers patted Jesse's shoulder in encouragement. Jesse didn't care about the outcome of the competition; if losing meant he got to see Y/N like this, he would willingly come up as the losing team every time.
In his eyes, Y/N was breathtakingly beautiful. Every laugh was like a melodic refrain that made his heart race a bit faster. His eyes were glued to her every movement, especially the graceful twirls that she would execute.
"They keep watchin' they keep watchin" The rest of the Bellas all joined in, singing the lyrics with the trio, except for Audrey, who seemed oblivious to the song.
Seeing as the crowd was completely caught up in Y/N's performance, she turned towards them and sang in a louder voice, "Feels like the crowd is saying", prompting the audience to join in with
"Gimme, gimme, more gimme more gimme more." Y/N beamed in satisfaction as everyone joined in and sang along with her.
"Anddd, we're out" Y/' said as they finished the song, everyone clapping and cheering. Jesse laughed joining the applause. Before he could say anything the MC came
"Okay funs over sorry laddies the word you needed to match was 'It' not 'It's'. You are CUT OFF" he shouted and the trebles cheered
"What when did that rule happen" Chloe shouted
"Whatever stupid riff off"
Y/N smiled, her expression showing no sign of disappointment. As she saw Jesse in the crowd, she sent a warm, appreciative smile and said, "Congratulations, pretty boy."
Jesse grinned mischievously and replied, "Does the winner get a gift?"
"You wish" Y/N rolled her eyes
This was the moment, Jesse thought to himself, the perfect instant to ask Y/N out. "Hey, I was wondering if maybe..."
But before he could finish, Audrey abruptly interrupted, "Y/N! We have to go."
Disappointed with the interruption, Jesse turned to Audrey, his expression one of annoyance.
"Sorry, chief's calling," she said with a light chuckle
"I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked
"Definitely," Y/N replied,
Y/N followed Audrey and then suddenly stopped, turning to face Jesse once again "Jesse," she breathed, her eyes shining with determination.
With swiftness, she leaned in towards Jesse and planted a brief kiss on his cheek, leaving him completely stunned and unable to hide his flush of surprise.
"Good night"
As Y/N hurried away, Jesse was left standing there, his face flushed with surprise. His hand was still covering the spot on his cheek where the unexpected kiss landed he murmured to himself
"Good night... fucking hell." He shook his head the grin never leaving his face

messy makeout with sub!jesse swanson
he had never done this before. let alone with an older girl.
not only were you a bella, and he was a treblemaker, which meant the acts you were currently involved in were forbidden. somehow that made it so much hotter.
but jesse only first met you at signing day. you were sat in the bella’s booth next to aubrey, with your short little skirt. jesse felt like a perv for the thoughts he had then and there. but here he was, in his dorm, his bed, under you, each leg of yours around him, straddling his muscular frame. he didn’t feel like a perv now knowing these feeling were reciprocated.
“mmm,” his whine was heavily muffled by the kiss, “so pretty,” his compliment made you giggle, as your hand tangled within the back of his hair, tugging and feeling satisfied with the sounds that resulted from it.
“yeah?” you said in between kisses, “i think you’re pretty, jess. *kiss* you know that?”
“you like when i tease you don’t you?” your hips rolled against his clothed core, his head fell back which gave you full access to his neck, to which you began pressing long and wet kisses down his neck, even nibbling here and there.
“fuck!” his voice was still his usual tone.
jess wasn’t one to go super high pitched unless he was climaxing, but he sure damn was close with such a beauty like you manipulating his pleasure. jesse’s hips buckled.
he never saw himself as being this submissive until he found the right woman. and although it had been a little over a month sense you two had met. usually it would take him longer to get so attached to someone. but when you know, you know.
he definitely knew.
you were the only woman he would let dominate him and treat him like a slut.

The Assistant [Hailee Steinfeld x Fem!Reader] - Chapter 1
Plot: Y/N Waldorf is fresh out of college and her first job is being Hailee Steinfeld's personal assistant, but what Y/N doesn't know is that Hailee is hiding a huge secret from the general public and from her, as her assistant.
Notes: This is a multi-chapter fic, you can also read this on wattpad under the same username "itspbandjellytime". This fanfic is also going to contain NSFW themes in the near future, so if you're under the age of 18 please don't read this. Thank you!
Word count: 1.5k words
[Y/N's POV]
My name is Y/N Waldorf, I am 21 years old and I live in Seattle, Washington, and I just graduated from college a few months ago. After four gruesome years of this course that I didn't like, I am finally free and I get to choose what job I'll have in the future since this is America and it's a free country after all. I got to say College was mentally challenging, but it was worth it after all and I got my degree, which I will probably never use in the future.
My parents, are real estate brokers and they were high school sweethearts. But they're not your typical high school sweethearts where one is a football player and the other is the girl next door, my parents were a bunch of nerds who fell in love and gave birth to two girls. I am the youngest and my sister Kelly, is the eldest.
If I can talk about their reaction to me graduating college, all I can say is that they were happy that I finished college after ranting to them I want to drop out every five seconds. However they have been bugging me for months to get a job which is annoying at first but I manage to get used to them bothering me at 3 in the morning to get one which I have- well had. I told my parents I've been working at the coffee shop somewhere in our local town, but they told me to get a PROPER job, a job that can pay me well and can give me money to support myself. As if the job at the coffee shop didn't support me when I was in college which it did for some time, I quit my job at the coffee shop a few weeks ago and now I am scouring the internet for a job.
My eyes start to hurt from staring at the screen of my laptop way too long, scrolling through countless job hunting websites, my ears start to hurt as well from the headphones I am wearing and blasting out my playlists as I look for the said job. I start to slowly give up at this point and start to overthink about my life choices until I was on the verge of tears, when all of a sudden I saw something that says: "Urgent! In need of a Personal Assistant, please contact Laura McKinnon." along with her details. I was skeptical at first when I saw the advertisement, I am fully aware about the scams happening which leads to people being in very life threatening circumstances. But with a quick google search, I realized that she works as a talent manager and she's based in California, I feel like this is also a sign from God at the same time. I immediately typed down her e-mail address and sent my resume to Laura, hoping for the best and I don't get scammed.
A few days have passed, I've been checking my e-mail almost everyday to see if I get a word from Laura which I did. According to the E-mail I sent, I am scheduled to have an interview with her via. Zoom the next day. The next day arrived and I was interviewed by Laura through Zoom, once the interview concluded she told me she'll contact me again once I get the job or not. I waited and waited, day and night for a response from Laura. I was desperate to get this job that I started to go to church almost everyday, I was religious for an entire week basically.
One day, while I was in a middle of a run just to count my steps in and getting my blood pumping, my phone starts to ring. I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and answered the call from an anonymous number "Hello?" I spoke, panting and catching my breath "Hello is this Y/N Waldorf?" The person asked, the sound of the person's voice sounded sweet, feminine, and had a valley girl accent.
I furrow my brows, checking my surroundings before speaking "Yes, who is this?" I asked.
"This is Laura McKinnon, from the office of Hailee Steinfeld. I am just here to inform you that you got the job as Hailee Steinfeld's personal assistant." Laura said, hold on... Did she say Hailee Steinfeld? Like... THE Hailee Steinfeld?!? I get to work as Hailee Steinfeld's personal assistant?!? I tend not to freak out in the middle of the street knowing I am gonna be a part of Hailee's team. I've looked up to Hailee since I first saw The Edge of Seventeen for the first time and I never looked back since, she is also the reason why I am into women and met one of my closest friends, Jackie.
"Miss Waldorf? Are you still on the line?" Laura asks me, I snapped back to reality and stammered for a bit to find words "Uhm... Yes. Sorry, I was distracted." I responded, chuckling nervously.
"It's all good Miss Waldorf, anyways you will be starting next week. I know you are based in Washington, but if you have any associates around the Los Angeles area, you can stay with them." Laura told me, all did was respond with a nod and a smile on my face "Yes... I will do that, thank you so much." I said as Laura ended the call.
After my run, I headed straight to my apartment and called up my bestfriend Jackie, I know it's crazy that I am calling my internet friend before my parents who have been bugging me to get a proper job. I met Jackie through our shared interest and love for Hailee Steinfeld, thanks to the website "Twitter", I was blabbering about Hailee on the site as usual and then she asked if we can be mutuals on that site  and we have been inseparable ever since also Jackie lives in Los Angeles around West Hollywood so I can crash at her place.
"Jackie!" I said with a proud tone, running around my apartment like I am a dog who just got the zoomies.
"Y/N/N! Hey, what's up?" Jackie asks me, I settle down on the couch and clear my throat.
"Girl guess what?" I ask her, I cant contain my excitement as a huge grin forms on my face.
"What?" She asks me back.
"I got a job!" I exclaimed, not telling her what my job is and who I work for just yet to build the suspense.
"No way, congrats girlie! What job?" Jackie asks.
I clear my throat again, a smirk forms on my face "Personal assistant." I confidently say.
"For?"
"Hailee Steinfeld." I responded, giggling like a teenage girl. I heard Jackie scream on the other line, causing me to laugh at her response "Yes, I am being serious Jackie. And I need to crash at your place." I told her.
"Oh my God sure, you are free to stay at my place... holy shit... You bagged a good job." Jackie compliments me and all I can do is laugh.
"It's insane, I know." I said, smiling "I start next week, and I gotta tell my parents about it as well." I added.
"Well you better tell them, girl." Jackie encouraged me, I can tell that she's leaning against a wall and smiling with her phone on her hand.
"Of course, I'll tell them and I will drive by there tomorrow." I said, ending my call with Jackie.
I told my parents about the job that I got, their reactions were positive and they supportive of me moving from Washington to California the next day. But my grandparents are huge conspiracy theorist believers, they start to talk about random things about the entertainment industry and my parents just shook their heads and told me to ignore them and enjoy my job. And in the words of my mother, she told me that this job is a once in a life time opportunity and I should savor every moment. Which I will, cause I have a feeling that working with your idol will be one of the best experiences I will have in my life time.
I spent the entire day packing my things for California, and It's a good thing that my sister, Kelly is down to look after and live in my apartment for the mean time. I love my sister, I would die for her.
The next day, I finally left Washington and headed to California. I decided to take my car and drive, it feels like a road trip with yourself and it's very therapeutic. I suggest that you try it, I spent the entire road trip blasting out Taylor Swift, eating convenient store food, sleeping in my car in empty parking spots.
The trip lasted for 17 hours, and 17 hours later I arrived in sunny Los Angeles. The last time I was in Los Angeles was when I was 15, when I first met Jackie and we saw Hailee live when she opened Charlie Puth. I took time to look around the surroundings as I drove to where Jackie lives, a smile forms on my face and it made me realize that this will be the start of a new chapter of my life and I hope this one will never end.

She could feel the beads of sweat dripping down her face, her feet rushing her to her destination. She was running late to her class on her first day of school, mentally chiding herself for being so careless.
She wasn’t looking where she was walking, too distracted by the anxiety running through her body, when she walked right into somebody else. She instantly felt two strong hands grab her waist, hoping to steady her, and she also felt the unpleasant burn from the coffee she was hoping to drink on her torso.
“Ah, shit!” She exclaimed. She hadn’t yet looked at who she ran into, her attention on her burning chest.
“Are you okay?” A man’s voice asked. Realizing her mistake, she looked up, and she felt as though Cupid shot an arrow right through her heart. She became addicted to the chocolate brown eyes looking into hers, she fell in love with the lips that were downturned in concern. “Are you alright?” He asked again after receiving no response the first time.
She snapped out of her trance, “yeah! yeah, Im so sorry, that was totally my fault. I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
“Don’t worry about it,” she watched as his eyes trailed down to her coffee-stained shirt, and he winced. “I’m sorry about your shirt.”
“It’s alright, I’m more upset about the lost caffeine,” she joked, trying to have as long an interaction with the mysterious man as possible, her class long forgotten.
He stared at her for a moment, his lips tilting up into a smirk, “well, maybe we can get some coffee sometime, you know, to make up for it.” To say she was shocked was an understatement. She wasn’t expecting him to ask her out, she thought they would go about their days, his encounter with her far from his mind.
“I would love that!” She rushed out. She flushed from embarrassment at how quick she was to say yes, and he saw it too. He chuckled, eyes twinkling as they looked into hers.
“We could go now,” he suggested, something seemingly labeled as hope taking over his face and tone.
She hesitated, thinking about how horrible of a student she would be if she skipped class on her first day of college, but made the mistake of looking into his eyes, becoming enchanted into saying yes.
From that moment in time, a beautiful friendship bloomed, soon morphing into something more, something unforgettable.

finally finished my project of collecting voiceclaims that are as close as i can find for my hcs of the main HoO cast - just for funsies so it's not as perfect as I'd like but whatever, it was a neat exploration and exercise of me trying to think of literally any franchise for voice actors.
Leo got two cause I had trouble of finding good clips for the voiceclaim that's closers to my hcs for him (the second half of his section). Also got to play the fun game of digging through my art for decent doodles of each character.
Also fun fact, I am almost completely unfamiliar with 3 franchises in this video and was just digging for voice clips on youtube. Try to guess which ones.

The Flirting Game
Aka the three times you make him blush, and the one time you don’t.
Tumblr media
Jesse Swanson x reader
TW: Cocky reader, romantic tension, and tooth-rotting fluff.
⊱ ────── {.⋅ ♫ .} ───── ⊰
Barden University was never Y/N’s first choice in a college. In fact, college was never even on her radar in the first place. The girl’s original plan after graduating high school was to make it big as a singer. She could dance, sing, and act if she really wanted to. But her voice was something she’s always relied on when it came to being successful. Unfortunately, her desire to be famous and successful was shut down by her parents. Her mother being a neurosurgeon and her dad being the governor of the state of California, the were both very insistent she go to school. Even if it was just for a backup plan.
Needless to say, they won that battle.
They told her they could pay to send her to any school of her choosing, but Y/N refused. She’s always been one to do things and accomplish them based on her own merit. She applied to multiple different schools, and Barden was the first one to reach out and say she had been accepted. Does she regret not waiting before accepting their offer? Yes. Mostly because her grades got her into Columbia University, but that would’ve been way more expensive. And she’s determined to pay her way through college on her own.
The hallway outside the audition room is buzzing with nervous excitement. Y/N takes a deep breath, grateful to be out of the intense environment, but as soon as she steps into the hallway, she spots someone leaning casually against the vending machine. His dark hair is slightly tousled, and there’s a playful glint in his eyes.
“Hey,” he calls out, a smirk playing on his lips. “You were just in there, right?”
Y/N arches an eyebrow, assessing the stranger for a second. He’s cute, that much is obvious, but there’s something almost too confident in the way he’s looking at her. “Maybe,” she responds coolly. “You stalking the auditions or something?”
He chuckles, stepping away from the machine and sauntering toward her. “No, no. Just... happen to be waiting for a friend who hasn’t gone yet,” he explains kindly. “I caught a bit of your performance.”
“Oh yeah?” Y/N crosses her arms, intrigued despite herself. “And how would you rate it? Since you took the time out of your day to stand here and listen. I’m sure you have plenty of critiques.”
He grins, holding his hands up in mock surrender. “No critiques, I swear. Just... admiration.”
“Admiration,” she echoes, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “That’s cute.”
He blinks, clearly taken aback by her forwardness. “Uh, thanks? I mean, I was being serious. You’re good.”
Y/N smirks, stepping a little closer. “I know I’m good, but I don’t remember asking for your opinion.”
The guy stumbles over his words, clearly not expecting her confidence. “Right, yeah. I just thought—”
“You thought what?” she interrupts, her eyes glinting with mischief. “That you’d swoop in with some charming lines and I’d be all impressed?”
He laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “Well, when you say it like that...”
Y/N narrows her eyes playfully. “What’s your name?”
“Jesse,” he says quickly, extending his hand with a sheepish smile. “And no, I wasn’t trying to, uh, swoop in. Promise.”
She looks at his hand for a moment before shaking it. “Y/N.”
“Nice to meet you, Y/N.” He’s still holding her hand a little longer than necessary, and Y/N raises an eyebrow.
“You planning on letting go anytime soon, Jesse?”
He immediately drops her hand, flustered. “Right, sorry. So, uh, what group are you hoping to get into?”
“I’m not hoping,” she says smoothly, leaning against the wall. “I know I’m getting in.”
Jesse chuckles, clearly impressed but still trying to regain some ground. “You’ve got confidence. I like that.”
Y/N tilts her head, smirking at him. “Confidence is everything. Wouldn’t you say, Swanson.”
Jesse opens his mouth to reply, but then pauses. “Wait, how’d you know my last name?”
Y/N grins, leaning in slightly as she whispers, “You’re not the only one who likes to scout out the competition. Just the only one dumb enough to make yourself known.”
He’s visibly flustered now, and Y/N revels in how easily she’s thrown him off his game. “Touché.”
“Better luck next time,” she teases, pushing off the wall. “Catch you later, Jesse.”
She gives him a playful wink before walking away, leaving Jesse standing there, completely dumbfounded and wondering what just happened.
⊱ ────── {.⋅ ♫ ⋅.} ───── ⊰
The empty arena is buzzing with post-initiation excitement. The Bellas, Trebles, and other a capella groups are scattered throughout the empty space, celebrating in their own ways. The air smells like cheap beer and adrenaline, but Y/N’s more entertained watching the chaos than participating in it.
She stands behind one of the many rows of concrete seats. Stars twinkle in the sky as sips her drink. A small smile makes its way onto her face as she watches two of her new acquaintances, Beca and Chloe dance together on the floor. Beca is a lot more stiff than her redhead counterpart, but at least she’s trying to show she’s interested. Suddenly, Jesse appears out of nowhere, his eyes lighting up when he spots her. He’s clearly tipsy, his steps a little uneven, but his usual cocky grin is still in place.
“Well, well, well,” he says, stumbling to a stop in front of her. “Look who’s all cool and aloof.”
Y/N arches an eyebrow, smirking. “Look who’s all drunk and sloppy.”
He lets out a laugh, running a hand through his hair. “I’m not that bad, am I?”
“You’re one wrong step away from falling down the steps,” she teases, eyeing him up and down. “But hey, I’ve seen worse.”
“Worse?” Jesse echoes, stepping a little closer, his smirk widening. “That’s not exactly reassuring.”
“I didn’t say I was trying to reassure you,” Y/N quips, taking another sip of her drink. “Maybe you need to be taken down a peg.”
Jesse grins, clearly emboldened by the alcohol. “Oh yeah? You think you’re up for that challenge?”
Y/N chuckles, stepping forward until she’s barely inches away from him. She can feel the heat radiating off his skin, and she knows she’s got him right where she wants him. “I don’t think it’d be much of a challenge, Swanson.”
Jesse’s breath catches, and for a moment, he looks like he’s about to say something clever, but Y/N beats him to it, placing her hand on his chest. “You’re cute when you’re flustered.”
“Flustered?” Jesse tries to sound offended, but his voice comes out a little too high-pitched. “I’m not flustered.”
Y/N just grins, leaning even closer, her lips hovering near his ear. “Oh, you definitely are.”
Jesse shivers, and Y/N can see the way his face flushes. He’s definitely flustered, and she’s loving every second of it.
“You’re... you’re dangerous,” he mutters, trying to compose himself. “You know that, right?”
“Dangerous?” she echoes, her voice dropping to a low, teasing tone. “Perhaps,” she smirks calmly. “Would you like to find out just how dangerous I can really be?”
Jesse’s eyes bore into hers. She can smell the beer on his breath, but it doesn’t deter her. The skin from his neck to his cheeks is completely red. She snakes her hand up and places it gently on the back of his neck, messing with the baby hairs that rest there. She can feel the heat of his skin, despite the chills that erupt on his body from her touch. He doesn’t move away from her. In fact, his lips part just slightly, showing just how desperately he wants to play with danger.
For a brief moment, she considers closing the distance between them, maybe even kissing him just to see how he’d react. But instead, she pulls back at the last second, her smirk widening as she watches him try to recover.
“Maybe next time, Swanson,” she says, giving him a playful pat on the chest before walking away, leaving him standing there, completely dumbfounded.
Jesse watches her retreat, shaking his head in disbelief. “What just happened?” he mutters to himself, still grinning.
⊱ ────── {.⋅ ♫ ⋅.} ───── ⊰
It was late, and the campus was unusually quiet as Y/N and Jesse stepped out of the radio station, the night air cool against their skin. They’d spent the last hour bickering over their favorite songs, Jesse defending his love of 80s rock, while Y/N insisted that nothing could top early 2000s pop hits. Their conversations were always easy, filled with sarcasm and teasing, but tonight had been different—there was something in the air, some undercurrent that neither of them seemed to acknowledge.
Being in the Barden Bella’s could be difficult at some points. Especially with Aubrey Posen breathing down all of their necks. The blonde woman has a vendetta against one specific a capella group, the Treblemakers. Unfortunately, that was the group Jesse got recruited into.
During hood night, Aubrey was practically fuming when she saw how Y/N was with Jesse. In fact, she confronted the girl during rehearsals the following week, telling her if she saw anything like that again, Y/N would be out of the group. She, of course, didn’t take Aubrey’s warning very seriously. She’s already lost two girls based on this vow, and at the rate they’re currently moving at, if she gets rid of Y/N, there’s no way they’d win at Lincoln center.
For a while, she did try to avoid Jesse, just to keep the peace. But she realized it was too addicting to mess with the boy. He just made making him flustered way too easy. It’s almost addicting. So when he offers to walk her home, how could she turn down such an ample opportunity.
Jesse walked beside her, hands shoved in his jacket pockets, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. He hesitated for a second before breaking the silence. “You want me to walk you to your dorm?”
Y/N didn’t miss a beat, her lips curling into a smirk as she gave him a sidelong glance. “What’s this? Jesse Swanson, my personal bodyguard?”
He chuckled, though it came out more nervous than he intended. “Just thought I’d be a gentleman, you know? Make sure you get back safe. It’s dark out.”
“Mmm,” Y/N hummed thoughtfully, pretending to consider it. “And what do I owe you for this gallant service? A song request at the station? A mixtape of all your favorite 80s ballads?”
Jesse laughed, shaking his head. “Nah, I wouldn’t subject you to that again. How about just… your eternal gratitude?”
Y/N stopped walking abruptly, turning to face him. She crossed her arms over her chest, amusement flickering in her eyes. “Eternal gratitude, huh? That’s a pretty tall order, Swanson.”
Jesse stopped too, grinning at her, though there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes. “I’ll settle for a ‘thank you,’ maybe a smile. I’m a simple guy.”
“Oh, just a ‘thank you’? Such modesty.” Y/N stepped closer, her voice dropping to a lower, more playful tone. “And here I thought you were after something more.”
Jesse blinked, visibly caught off guard by her sudden proximity. “Uh, I—” he started, but whatever comeback he was searching for seemed to die in his throat as he stared at her.
Y/N laughed softly, clearly enjoying how easily flustered he got. She placed a hand on his arm, her touch light and teasing. “Relax, Jesse. I’m just messing with you.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jesse muttered, shaking his head as if to snap himself out of it. “You’re too good at that, by the way.”
“Good at what?” she asked, though the mischievous glint in her eyes told him she knew exactly what he meant.
Jesse huffed, exasperated. “Getting under my skin.”
Y/N arched an eyebrow, leaning in even closer, her breath brushing against his ear. “Maybe you’re just too easy to get under.”
Jesse swallowed hard, his breath catching in his throat. “Maybe,” he murmured, though it sounded more like a concession than an actual response.
They stood like that for a beat too long—her close enough to feel the warmth radiating from his body, her lips so close to his cheek that if he turned just slightly, they’d touch. Jesse’s heart was pounding in his chest, and for a split second, he thought maybe this was the moment. But then, in true Y/N fashion, she pulled away with a grin, breaking the tension as easily as she’d created it.
“Come on, Swanson,” she said, her voice light and teasing. “Let’s get going before you make this weird.”
Jesse let out a breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding and fell into step beside her, his brain still trying to catch up with what had just happened. “Right,” he muttered, trying to regain some semblance of composure. “Wouldn’t want things to get weird.”
But as they continued walking, Y/N couldn’t help but glance over at him every now and then, a small, amused smile tugging at her lips. She loved how easily she could fluster him—it was like a game. And the best part? Jesse seemed to enjoy playing along just as much.
“So,” she said after a few moments of silence, her tone casual, but the mischief in her eyes was unmistakable. “Does this gentlemanly escort service come with a guarantee? Like, if I get jumped, are you actually going to throw punches? Or just stand there looking pretty?”
Jesse laughed, though he couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “I’d throw punches. Maybe not good punches, but punches nonetheless.”
“Oh, great,” Y/N teased. “So I can count on you for a half-hearted swing and then some pretty-boy posturing?”
Jesse scoffed, pretending to be offended. “Pretty-boy posturing? Please. I’m more than just a pretty face, Y/N. I’ve got charm. Wit. Unmatched banter skills.”
“Uh-huh,” she replied, clearly unimpressed. “Keep telling yourself that.”
He shot her a sideways grin, eyes twinkling with mischief. “You don’t believe me?”
“Believe you?” Y/N repeated, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Oh, I believe that you think you’re charming. But as for the rest of us? Jury’s still out.”
Jesse placed a hand dramatically over his heart, feigning hurt. “Wow, way to bruise my ego, Y/N.”
“Your ego needs bruising,” she quipped. “It’s getting way too big for your head.”
They both laughed, the sound echoing across the quiet campus as they continued walking. But as they neared her dorm, the playful banter between them started to fade, replaced by something more—something neither of them seemed willing to address head-on.
Jesse slowed his pace as they reached the entrance to her building, turning to face her. “Well, here we are.”
“Here we are,” Y/N echoed, her voice softer now, the teasing edge gone.
There was a brief, awkward pause as they both stood there, neither of them quite sure how to end the night. Jesse shifted on his feet, glancing at her with that same unsure smile he always gave her when he was nervous. “So… goodnight?”
Y/N smirked, taking a step closer to him, her voice dropping to that playful tone she knew always got under his skin. “That’s it? I thought I owed you my eternal gratitude.”
Jesse blinked, caught off guard once again. “Uh, right. I mean, you could—”
She didn’t let him finish. Instead, Y/N reached out, grabbing the collar of his jacket and tugging him closer, her lips hovering just inches from his. “Thanks for walking me,” she whispered, her breath warm against his skin.
Jesse’s brain short-circuited. He could barely think, let alone speak. “Y-you’re welcome.”
Y/N grinned at how flustered he was, enjoying every second of it. But just when it seemed like she might close the distance between them, she let go of his jacket and took a step back, leaving him standing there, dumbfounded.
“Goodnight, Jesse,” she said with a wink before turning on her heel and heading inside, leaving Jesse standing there, still trying to process what had just happened.
As the door closed behind her, Jesse let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair. “Damn it,” he muttered to himself, shaking his head with a small, defeated smile.
She’d won this round. Again. But something told him he wasn’t quite ready to give up the game just yet.
⊱ ────── {.⋅ ♫ ⋅.} ───── ⊰
Backstage at Lincoln Center, the buzz of excitement was electric. The Bellas were huddled together, running through last-minute vocal exercises, but Y/N’s mind wasn’t exactly on the task at hand. Sure, she was ready to perform, confident in their setlist and her place in the group, but something else was pulling her focus tonight—Jesse.
He wasn’t being his usual goofy self. Well, not entirely. Y/N had noticed a shift in his behavior over the past couple of days. The playful glances they exchanged weren’t just playful anymore. They were heavier, more intense, and laced with something unspoken.
Aubrey surprisingly found a way to let loose. She apologized to Y/N for her rude behavior and actually gave her ‘blessing’ for their weird relationship. Not that she needed the woman’s blessing, but it was nice to know that she wouldn’t be kicked out of the group for simply playing with the poor boy.
Now, as she stands off to the side, letting out a long breath to calm her nerves, she could feel Jesse’s eyes on her again. When she glanced across the room, there he was—watching her from where he stood with the Treblemakers, leaning against the wall with that stupid grin she’d grown way too fond of.
She raised an eyebrow, and instead of backing down, Jesse pushed himself off the wall and began making his way toward her. The confidence in his stride was new, different from the easy-going, jokey guy she’d spent so much time teasing.
Y/N forced herself to focus on her breathing. It’s fine. He’s just being Jesse. But the closer he got, the more she realized that whatever this thing was between them, it was building to something—and fast.
When he finally reached her, Jesse stopped just in front of her, standing a little closer than usual. He tilted his head, giving her a once-over before meeting her gaze with a grin. “You look ready to kill it out there.”
Y/N smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. “Oh, I am. The real question is—are you ready? Because I’ve heard you singing your set, Swanson. And, I mean... it’s cute, but it’s not exactly mind-blowing.”
Jesse’s grin widened. “Oh, it’s cute, huh? Cute enough to beat you?”
Y/N raised an eyebrow, not missing the flicker of determination in his eyes. He wasn’t backing down tonight, and it was... kind of hot. “Not a chance. You forget, I don’t lose.”
Jesse stepped closer, close enough that she could feel the warmth radiating from his body. His voice dropped, the playful edge still there but darker, more serious. “See, that’s where you’re wrong. Tonight... you are definitely losing.”
Y/N blinked, thrown by the boldness of his words. “Bold move,” she nods. “But let’s be real—you’re all talk.”
Jesse chuckled softly, his hand reaching out to gently tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear. The movement was so unexpected, so intimate, that Y/N felt her heart skip a beat. “I’m not all talk, Y/N. Not with you.”
She swallowed hard, trying to keep her cool, but the tension between them was palpable. She’d been in control of their banter for weeks, but tonight, Jesse was flipping the script, and it was starting to get to her.
“Oh yeah?” she said, keeping her voice low as she looked up at him through her lashes. “Then prove it.”
Jesse’s grin turned wicked. He leaned in slowly, his face inches from hers, his breath warm against her skin. “Careful what you wish for,” he whispered, his lips brushing her ear as he spoke.
Y/N felt a shiver run down her spine, but she refused to let him see how much he was affecting her. “I’m not scared of you, Jesse.”
“Good,” he murmured, his hand sliding down to cup her cheek, his thumb brushing over her skin with a touch that was both gentle and possessive. “Because I’ve been dying to do this since I met you.”
Before Y/N could respond, Jesse closed the distance between them, capturing her lips in a kiss that was anything but playful. It was slow, deliberate, filled with a quiet intensity that made her knees go weak. She wasn’t used to this side of him—the one that took charge, that knew exactly what he wanted and went for it without hesitation.
For a moment, Y/N let herself melt into the kiss, her hands instinctively reaching up to grip the front of his shirt. The world around them seemed to blur, the noise of the backstage chaos fading into the background. It was just them—just this moment.
But then, just as quickly as it started, Jesse pulled back, his forehead resting against hers as he caught his breath. He didn’t move away entirely, though. His hand remained on her cheek, his thumb still tracing lazy circles on her skin.
Y/N blinked, trying to process what had just happened. “That was... unexpected.”
Jesse smirked, his voice low and full of mischief. “I told you. I’m not all talk.”
Y/N narrowed her eyes, though there was a playful glint behind them. “You think one kiss is going to rattle me? Please, I’ve had better.”
Jesse chuckled softly, clearly not buying her bluff. “Sure you have.”
Y/N bit her lip, determined to regain the upper hand. She leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered, “You’ll have to do better than that if you want to win.”
Jesse’s breath hitched, and Y/N knew she’d gotten to him. For a moment, she reveled in the victory, but then Jesse did something she wasn’t expecting—he took a step back, giving her space, but his eyes never left hers.
“You know what the best part about all of this is?” he asked, his voice calm, almost cocky.
“What?” Y/N replied, crossing her arms again, her gaze wary.
Jesse’s grin was slow, confident. “The fact that you’re going to be thinking about that kiss every time you see me. And when we’re out there performing, you won’t be able to stop thinking about it. About me.”
Y/N’s heart raced, but she forced herself to stay cool. “You really think you’ve got that kind of power over me, huh?”
Jesse stepped closer again, his eyes never leaving hers. “I don’t think it—I know it.”
For once, Y/N didn’t have a comeback. He was too confident, too sure of himself, and she hated to admit it, but he was right. That kiss had rattled her more than she’d like to admit.
Jesse’s grin softened as he reached out, his hand brushing against hers briefly before dropping back to his side. “See you out there, L/N. Try not to get too distracted.”
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Y/N standing there, her mind spinning. She watched him go, her eyes narrowing as he disappeared into the crowd of performers.
Damn him.
He was winning, and he knew it.
But Y/N wasn’t one to back down from a challenge. If Jesse thought he had her figured out, he had another thing coming. She’d play along for now, but the next round? That would be hers.
As she rejoined the Bellas, she tried to shake off the lingering heat of the moment, focusing on the competition. But as they prepared to do their group pep talk , she couldn’t help but glance over at Jesse one last time.
He caught her eye as the rest of the Trebles walk out on stage, the music starting. A knowing smirk covers his face, as he gives her a subtle wink.
Y/N rolled her eyes, but there was a smile tugging at her lips.
This wasn’t over.
Not by a long shot.

Headcanon that Bruce's children sing acapella
I like to think that Brandy and Bruce's children are interested in music, like- they're half pop troll and, knowing that their dad is literally a former member of THE boyband of his moment with his brothers, yeah- it is very likely.
Bruce told how they listened to Velvet and Venner with their children together at their house all the time. And I was thinking about how nice a family bounding could be with them.
So, I thought to myself. What can 13 children who are interested in music do together? They do mini acapella shows

Having a Relationship with Emily Junk Would Include...
Tumblr media
Requested by @fairy-geek-ackerman
This was meant to be a fic, but it's more a longer version of HC's with Emily, if that makes any sense. Hope y'all like it!
The calendar had circled the date in red for weeks, a constant reminder of the impending event. Not a birthday, nor a performance, but a first date. Excitement and nervousness waltzed hand-in-hand, creating a fluttering sensation in your stomach. The morning unfolded in a whirlwind of indecision. Every outfit felt wrong, and you were forced to take a breath to calm yourself. Emily was the one who asked you out, so that means she must like you back, right?
The chosen attire, a testament to countless outfit changes, hung neatly on the back of your dorm door. As the clock ticked closer to the designated time, the air crackled with anticipation. Should I call and confirm? Should I text a witty one-liner? The phone remained untouched, the desire to appear effortless warring with the bubbling anxiety.
Finally, the moment arrived. Stepping out the door, the familiar neighborhood felt different, painted in hues of excitement. The fluttering in your stomach wasn't just nerves; it was a symphony of anticipation and excitement. The scent of your chosen perfume, usually comforting, morphed into an intoxicating reminder of the impending encounter. Each passing car horn and distant laughter felt amplified, weaving a soundtrack of the approaching moment.
The walk held a new rhythm, each step leading to the unknown. Arriving at the chosen venue, a cozy café bathed in warm light, a wave of relief washed over you as you saw Emily waiting for you. There, right next to the door, sat the object of weeks of anticipation. An initial wave of shyness washed over you, momentarily silencing the carefully prepared conversation starters. But as smiles were exchanged, the ice began to thaw. The warmth of the interior enveloped you, offering a comforting contrast to the crisp autumn air. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the sweet scent of baked pastries, creating a sensory dance. Across the table, your Emily’s eyes held a glimmer of curiosity, her smile triggering a cascade of warmth within you.
The conversation between you flowed with surprising ease. You discovered shared passions, unexpected connections, and the joy of finding common ground in the vast landscape of human experience. Time seemed to bend, minutes morphing into hours. Laughter filled the air, a testament to the easy connection that deepened with every minute you were together. The conversation wasn't just words, it was a bridge built upon shared laughter and stolen glances. Jokes landed perfectly, eliciting genuine chuckles that echoed in the dimly lit space. In moments of comfortable silence, the unspoken understanding resonated deeply, communicating more than words ever could.
The two of you talked for what seemed like hours, until the coffee shop closed and you had to leave. As the date drew to a close, the lingering anticipation transformed into a newfound warmth. The walk back home, once a solitary journey, now held the echo of shared experiences and whispered promises of future encounters. It was a reminder that sometimes, the most ordinary moments can blossom into extraordinary experiences, leaving one with a heart full of anticipation and a smile that lingers long after the goodbyes are said.
------------------
The sun, a hesitant guest, peeked through the blinds, casting golden stripes across the room. Anticipation hummed in the air, an electric current buzzing through every nerve. Today was the day – the day you would walk down the aisle and say "I do" to the love of your life.
The morning unfolded in a flurry of whispered secrets and excited laughter. Surrounded by the women who had shaped you, you felt an overwhelming sense of love and support. As your best friend helped zip up the dress, a wave of emotion washed over you. The pristine white fabric shimmered, a symbol of new beginnings and a lifetime of promises.
Standing at the end of the aisle, your heart hammered a frantic rhythm against your ribs. Every detail seemed heightened – the scent of lilies, the hushed murmurs of guests, the way the sunlight glinted off the tears glistening in your Beca and Aubrey’s eyes. And then you saw Emily, waiting at the altar, her smile radiating warmth and love that pierced through the veil of nerves.
The ceremony was a blur of emotions. Vows were exchanged with trembling voices, tears of joy freely flowing, and the weight of commitment settling comfortably upon your shoulders. As you exchanged rings, a symbol of your eternal bond, the world seemed to shrink, focusing solely on the two of you standing hand in hand.
The reception was a whirlwind of congratulations, laughter, and dancing. The clinking of glasses served as a soundtrack to our love story, each toast weaving memories that would forever be etched in our hearts. As the night deepened, and the revelry subsided, we stole away for a quiet moment under the starlit sky.
Holding each other close, you whispered sweet nothings and shared a kiss under the moon, a perfect ending to an extraordinary day. The wedding day was more than just a celebration; it was a culmination of a journey, a promise whispered to the future, and the beginning of a new chapter in our love story. It was a day that painted itself onto the canvas of your lives, a memory to be cherished forever, a testament to the unwavering power of love.
-----------------------
Married life, like any complex melody, is composed of countless notes: some high and jubilant, others low and melancholic, all weaving together to create a unique and ever-evolving symphony. While outsiders often romanticize the concept, the reality is far more nuanced and multifaceted.
The initial years were marked by a whirlwind of new experiences - navigating shared spaces, building routines, and learning to compromise. Laughter fills the air as inside jokes bloom, and adventures, both big and small, are embarked upon together. The foundation of trust and understanding is laid brick by brick, each conversation, each shared meal, solidifying the bond.
Yet, the journey isn't always a bed of roses. Disagreements arose, casting temporary shadows on the sunny landscape. Life throws curveballs, testing the strength of the bond that you two shared. But it is in these moments that the true essence of married life shines through, and you remembered why you fell in love with her. Communication becomes the bridge, allowing for open expression and the exploration of different perspectives.
Over time, the symphony evolves. The initial intensity of passion settles into a comfortable warmth, a deeper sense of connection built on shared experiences, unwavering support, and quiet companionship. The laughter may shift from explosive outbursts to knowing smiles, but the joy it brings remains.
The melody also encompasses shared responsibilities and a deeper understanding of the word "partnership." You decided to have children, and of course, Fat Amy insisted on being their favorite aunt.
Married life isn't a destination but a continuous journey. It requires constant effort, dedication, and a willingness to grow alongside your partner. It's about celebrating each other's triumphs, offering comfort during hardships, and finding joy in the ordinary moments. It's about weathering the storms and emerging stronger, the melody of your love story growing richer and more complex with each passing year.

hiiii pls write more jesse swanson! honestly anything your heart desires, we need more fics of him!
of course i love writing for my movie man, here’s just a little fluff cause i’m feeling sweet rn
jesse was laid on the couch of the record store, watching you as you were in your own world, stacking cd’s and organizing the vinyls.
you could feel his eyes on you, while you couldn’t help but smile.
“jess, i can feel you staring,” your words brought him from his trance, and he couldn’t help but smile for you as he stood.
“you’re just so pretty, how can i not?” his voice was a bit whiny, as if he longed for you, as he reached his hand out and brought you closer to him, looking directly into your eyes, watching as your smile grew and your pupils dilated.
“baby,” you say, knowing he’s being cheesy just to make you blush.
he smiles down at you and cups your cheek, kissing you, then pulling away and kissing your forehead. “i love you.”
“you two better not be making out in there!” you both hear luke shouting from the other room, and you giggling as jesse kisses your forehead again, brushing him off.
“i love you too,” you say, giggling as jesse yells something back to luke and gets back to working.

Love Me Like a Love Song Baby
Tumblr media
pairings: jesse swanson x fem!oc
genre: fluff
a/n: i tried okay😭 for some reasons this was rlly hard for me to write maybe bc he was blindfolded and she couldnt hear shit😭😭 hope u like it<3
Iris was accustomed to Jesse's out-of-the-box ideas, despite often finding them to be outrageous. Still, she couldn't help but find it endearing whenever Jesse proposed his unique and fun ideas. Even if baking while blindfolded and deaf was a tad too much, she couldn't say no to spending time with him. Plus, she admitted that spending time with Jesse was one of her favorite activities.
As she laid the eggs, butter, and other ingredients on the countertop, Iris contemplated how much of a challenge this baking blindfolded endeavor would be. Despite knowing the task would be difficult, Jesse couldn't contain his smiles and excitement.
“Im not enjoying this”
Jesse chuckled as Iris yelled at him, finding her outburst utterly endearing. He tried to tell her that she was being too loud, but she didn't hear him due to the loud music on her headphones. Despite their heated harmless argument, Jesse found Iris's reactions to be adorable. As the scene became more chaotic with Jesse's flour and Iris's yelling, the two couldn't help but crack a smile. Even in their chaotic and embarrassing moments, Jesse and Iris's chemistry was unstoppable.
At Jesse's loving smile, Iris felt her heart fluttering, her eyes glued to his sweet smile. His charming smile made her heart skip a beat, as she felt breathless and unable to turn away from him. It felt like time had stopped, and Jesse and Iris were in a world of their own.
“Jesse!”
“Iris”
Jesse smirked as he dumped a generous handful of oil into the cookie batter, causing Iris's eyes to widen in surprise. As she yelled at Jesse, he laughed covering her mouth with his hand “Shhh you’re being too loud”
Jesse giggled as Iris tried to yell at him, but she couldn't. Iris's words were muffled, and she was unable to get them out. Jesse was enjoying the moment, finding Iris's attempt to yell at him absolutely adorable. As Iris continued to struggle, Jesse's soft chuckles filled the air, making the moment all the more fun and lighthearted. "Let me go!" Iris mumbled, trying to fight Jesse's hand while fighting back a smirk.
“Beg”
After a bit of struggling, Iris got tired and decided to take a different approach. So, she licked Jesse's hand, surprising Jesse and causing him to yell "disgusting" in jest while laughing.
As Jesse and Iris's moment of intimacy continued, Iris suddenly stopped and said "wait." Iris leaned in and wiped the flour off Jesse's cheek, Jesse felt his heart racing from her act of intimacy, but he was hesitant to act on his feelings of wanting to kiss her. What would happen if he did? Jesse wondered, unsure if he should make a move or not.
Jesse playfully teased Iris, saying "Careful, I'm starting to think you like me and can't seem to get enough of me." Iris, who fortunately heard Jesse despite her headphones, rolled her eyes and quipped back, "I think it's the other way around." She tried to hide her blush before playfully smacking Jesse's arm. "You like me, don't you?" Jesse asked playfully, with a smile on his face as if he already knew the answer. Iris paused before finally nodding her head
Thank god he’s blindfolded…
“I said this before” Jesse yelled and leaned closer so she could hear him “Acapella boy acapella girl” he pointed at himself and her “Aca children” Jesse teased
"Don't get ahead of yourself," Iris teased back, but she couldn't help but laugh at Jesse’s face. He had a way of getting her to crack up like no one else.
“Here” The younger girl gave him the chocolate chips, her favorite song started playing, and as she hummed along, her eyes were fixed on Jesse, even as he was still blindfolded. The lyrics "love you like a love song" brought a smile to Iris's face, as she thought about how Jesse made her feel. As she sang in a playful tone, her words "you are beautiful like a dream come alive, incredible" were meant for Jesse, he exhaled and grinned, knowing that Iris wanted to pull him to dance and that he would gladly accept “a centerfold miracle, lyrical you saved my life again”
Iris grabbed Jesse’s hand “and i want you to know baby shake that ass Jessie boy”
“I-I love you like a love song baby”
“Right back at you miss” As the two sang and twirled around, their voices harmonized perfectly, as if they were made for one another. Jesse was extra careful not to bump into anything as he spun Iris around, making sure that their movements were smooth and effortless, complementing one another perfectly. Both Iris and Jesse felt as if they were one with the song, as the joy and euphoria of their dance together filled the room
Jesse and Iris were unaware that they were each singing to each other, only knowing that the lyrics of the song expressed their shared love and adoration for one another.
They were both singing at the top of their lungs, jamming out to the song. As the lyrics "repeat-peat-peat" came on, Jesse began to tickle Iris lightly. Iris giggled in delight, hitting Jesse's shoulders lightly trying to make him stop. Jesse laughed, finding her playful reactions adorable. Their singing quickly turned into a tickling fight, as Jesse continued to try to tickle Iris, who was trying to make him stop. The playful and intimate atmosphere between the two was undeniable, as they smiled at each other as they sang and giggled.
Jesse grabbed Iris wrist making her look at him, he didn't understand what was possessed him to do this. Jesse worked up the courage to say what he had been feeling. In a soft voice, he said "I like you." Although he hoped that Iris hadn't heard him, she stopped dancing and turned to face him. She started laughing as she pointed to her headphones, indicating that she couldn't hear him.
She can’t hear you, he knew that this could be his chance to make a beautiful confession. Jesse took a deep breath, and his words came pouring out like a stream. "Iris, I like you so much. I've wanted to tell you for so long but-”
“Jesse” she giggled “I can’t hear shit” Jesse gave her a sad smile, at least he confessed. The next 30 minutes were awkward. Neither of them said a single thing, too focused on what the brunette boy said
Iris lets a sigh “and we’re done” she starts to clap in excitement, taking off her headphones Jesse took off his blindfold, his eyes took a few seconds to adjust the lightning “now all we need to is put the cookies in the oven and…”
“And wha-“ Iris leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on Jesse's lips. Jesse was caught off guard by Iris's bold action and remained still in surprise. As she pulled away, his heart was still racing and he had trouble processing the emotions that he was feeling. Iris looked at boy she liked with a mix of embarrassment and upset, as she had hoped that he would enjoy the kiss as much as she had. Iris got her message, Jesse didn't kiss her back which means he didn’t like her. This thought made Iris feel hurt, she thought he was being serious about his feelings for her. Yes, she heard everything
His confession earlier made her knees go weak but she was too shocked to even confess her own feelings, that’s why she decided to play it safe and act like she didn’t hear him
Talk about playing safe now
“I-Im sorry I didn-i thought” she embarrassed herself even more by stuttering, she ruined everything, he will probably make fun of her now “Jesse im so-“ she was cut off by Jesse lips crashing into hers
Iris's heart was beating fast as emotions of love and desire flooded her body. Jesse's lips were soft but gentle, and Iris's heart fluttered as she tasted his lips. The moment felt like an eternity, and as their lips parted, Iris's eyes were already filled with tears of joy.
Jesse pulled away from Iris, taking in the sweet moment, as he was also moved by their kiss. Their eyes locked in a moment of understanding and joy, as they both felt that their hearts had finally found each other.
Iris was completely swept away in the moment, her lips clinging back to Jesse's, as she had needed this kiss for so long. Jesse's hold on Iris was tight as his lips kept returning back to hers. As they parted, Jesse kept his gaze on Iris's lips, wanting even more of her sweet scent and flavor. They stood facing each other after their kiss, neither one wanting to be the one to break the spell between them. Their foreheads were touched and their eyes were locked, it was sweet and intimate, and Jesse felt his love for Iris growing with each second passed.
"Never apologize for kissing me, never," Jesse whispered softly to Iris, his voice breaking the spell. Iris was touched by Jesse's words, and they embraced in a loving hug. Kissing Jesse felt like coming home, and Iris's heart was filled with joy.
