PAGE TWO PANEL ONE: The racket continues, overwhelming the panel. An overhead view as Caleb stands up on his crutches and moves towards the noise. "What in the Titan's name is going on??" he wonders. PANEL TWO: Caleb looks out the window. "I can't see anything from here," he thinks. PANEL THREE: The noise breaks off into a screech, followed by silence. A close up of Caleb looking through the bars of his window, eyebrows raised in bemusement. PANEL FOUR: His expression changes to uncertainty. "It stopped..." he thinks. PANEL FIVE: Hunter throws the door open with a BANG, Belos following behind him. "DAD!" he yells happily. Caleb jolts, startled. PANEL SIX: "You'll never guess what just happened!" says Hunter excitedly. Caleb turns to him, wiping the clay off his hands with a towel. "Violence and destruction of property?" "Well, yes," answers Hunter, "but--." PANEL SEVEN: Belos stands at Hunter's side and rests his hand on his shoulder. Hunter puts his hands on his hips and smiles at Caleb proudly. "Lilith Clawthorne has finally captured the Owl Lady," says Belos. PANEL EIGHT: Caleb clutches his shirt as he looks at them, horrified. The panel around them is black except for the barred window behind him. "She captured her own sister?" he asks. /End ID]

This is a silly little gif I made during class, and it was originally supposed to be based off of Belos’s face reveal in Eclipse Lake, during his confrontation with Hunter.

For the record, I’m working on more content. I have a few memes and doodles that I’m still working on; However, with the start of classes again, I have to take my own pace.

This hits close to the chest, doctor's ignoring signs brushing you off. Suddenly your notes include hypochondria, history of severe mental illness, or some other way to discredit you for every cynical half assed doctor who sees your notes. Maybe not every killer, but enough of them for sure and these are violent and passionate killers. If you are their world, oh boy the doctor better hope that they only piss the one off who isn't stab happy dump their body in the woods kind of person.

Just for my sanity and so I can live vicariously through my own writing this will take place in a modern!AU though if you want a more period accurate one I'd indulge.

Evan Macmillan, The Trapper, is from one the most influential families in the city. What the fuck do they mean his doll is a lazy and should lose weight?! You're trying everything to get better, but you can barely get out of bed. Your limbs feeling like lead most mornings. He shows up holding your hand as he listens to the doctor adress him and not you. Telling him, not you that it's all about diet.

Evan Macmillan is short tempered, he tries to hard to control it, but the fact that the doctor is talking to him and not you and asking him for the information has him screaming at the doctor as you try to calm him down. The man is seeing red, hating himself for prioritizing the work at the mine instead of your health. If the doctor doesn't agree to at least test Evan will make sure the doc is blacklisted to hell and back, because you don't deserve to live like this without at least answers.

Tarhos Kovács, The Knight, is a veteran, turned mercenary, who enlisted way too young. He's seen too many fall apart from neglect and you are his world. He knows you are trying and he knows you want to get better. Your eyes full of tears whenever you come home a new bottle of pills in a brown paper bag. You hurt all the time, your head hurts all the time. Days on end in bed, you feel bad that with little time he is home is spent with him caring for you. Surely he would want someone less broken.

One too many times this has happens and he's driving to the doctors office leaving you at home just so he can yell at someone. The doctor would be preferred, but he'll settle on an administrator to threaten and scream at. They haven't done any scans ever for you and you've dealt with this longer then you have known him. It hurts him to know that you're being ignored. For some strange reason you get a call saying the doctor wants scans on the book for a more comprehensive look.

"Jed Olsen", The Ghostface, is silent rage kind of guy. You insisted that he didn't need to come. You're still freshly dating only a few months, but he knows your ill and knows you've been ignored Everytime you've asked for help. You're afraid he's going to scream at the doc make a scene and just generally be embarrassing. You know he's angry, he's got that look in his eye that You've only seen when he said he had business to take care of weirdly smelled of bleach the next day. However that didn't happen instead you watch him pull out a thick pocket journal opening it up.

Turns out he's been monitoring you closely and that smart watch he got you was him preparing for this. He starts rattling off any and every unusual thing he's noted and is even willing to give a copy to the doc to go over. Hard to say it's in your head when the details are all written down. The doc says he needs to look over it to figure out what tests he wants to run but there was enough there for him to justify it. "Jed" is just happy to see that look of relief on your face knowing that something might finally happen even if there is no cure at least you're a step closer to finding out what it might be. He also starts taking your vitals more openly now that his secret is out.

Philip Ojomo, The Wraith, has been ignored enough time himself to know who is the right doctor to go to. Someone who will actually listen to you, someone who looks horrified as you explain why you just stopped trying to figure out what is wrong with you. Philip doesn't care how far the two of you have to travel for you to get proper care, he'll take work off to drive hours to get you to a specialist. He doesn't see it as a chore, he loves you and this; this is just him caring for the one he loves more then the air itself. He'll even carry you inside when you inevitably pass out on the drive home.

quids game hit hard. the painfully realistic flaw of parents just doing things for you to make you feel better about yourself because they love you but actually have no faith in you and/or lack the ability to teach you, and they'd rather just lie to you that you're winning than let you learn to accept loss gracefully...

...and then when you get older, you still don't have these skills, and they stop doing things for you because they expect you to "toughen up" already despite also talking you down regularly and convincing you that you're not good enough. especially when you're neurodivergent and life skills come less naturally to you!

even well-meaning parents can fuck you up immensely. probably passing down the toxic mentalities they learned themselves.

Recent research found the cruelty of Zimbardo’s prison guards didn’t emerge spontaneously; some behaviour was encouraged. Some of the “prisoners” later admitted that they were pretending to be distressed. Similarly, a study published in 2007 found that the 1964 incident that inspired the theory of the bystander effect was distorted. According to the paper, archive material shows far fewer people witnessed the incident than was reported at the time, and some people could only hear screams, without seeing the location of the incident. At least one person did try to intervene. Recent research indicates that bystanders are much more likely to intervene than the theory suggests. A 2019 study of 219 violent situations from cities around the world caught on CCTV showed that bystanders – not just one, usually several – intervened to help victims 90% of the time. The study also found that the more people were present, the more likely passers-by were to intervene. In the words of the study’s lead researcher, Richard Philpot: “It shows that people have a natural inclination to help when they see someone in need.” The burgeoning field of “heroism studies” also questions the bystander effect. In a recent article for The Conversation, I described how acts of heroic altruism are common during terrorist attacks, when people often risk their own lives to help others. Consider the following situation: you’re standing on a train platform. The person next to you suddenly faints and falls on to the track, unconscious. In the distance, you can see a train approaching. What would you do? You might doubt whether you would act heroically. But don’t underestimate yourself. There is a strong possibility that, before you knew it, you would find yourself on down on the track, helping the person to safety. There is a growing awareness amongst researchers that heroism is natural and spontaneous, and by no means exceptional.

If you're asking why cod of duty girlies were charmed by Graves post-MW2, I would reason to say that Warren Kole's performance as him really sells the character.

His weird little zoolander smoulder during 'your men have been... detained' is so funny to me. Again, his VA's performance turns a character that was otherwise a forgettable 'twist' villain into something that's so funny when viewed out of context:

His name is Philip Graves. Fill Graves. Are you fucking kidding me. He's a cringey girlfailure that lost a tank in a knifefight. But that's okay because he never was in the tank to begin with, of course. duh. He is this vexing, looney tunes contrast to the other more 'serious' villains (Valeria, Makarov, that guy from MW1). His Shadows are cannonfodder that get conveniently killed at every opportunity and yet he still goes about acting like they're anything more than walmart brand mercs. The MW3 trailer oddly fixates on his fertile gyrating hips as he walks through the heli. Everybody hates his entire septic pussy with a burning fucking passion and he knows it. Farah, somehow and for some reason, thinks he's the most special little handbag dog and watches out for hawks on his account. He out-snakes Shepherd by stabbing him in the back at the last moment, arguably the only enjoyable moment from MW3.
