LUCY IN THE METAVERSE!
Lucy on Lucille / Lucille on Lucy
Lucille Ball created the Lucy character to live in a real world; a world also populated by movies stars, one of whom was film and radio performer Lucille Ball! On rare occassion, the Lucy character dared to acknowledge the existence of her famous portrayer giving viewers a rare visit to the metaverse. Lucille believed that comedy was better if it stayed close to the truth. Her sitcoms are full of references to her own life and the lives of those around her - but that’s not enough to be Meta! Here are some moments that transcend mere references and become self-referential!
In 1946, Lucille Ball (the actress) met Lucille Ball (the filly), courtesy of jockey Johnny Longden. This meeting no doubt influenced Longden’s playing himself in “Lucy and The Loving Cup” (1957).
~ META MAGAZINES ~
Lucille Ball was on the cover of a local edition of TV Guide (January 25, 1952), which was casually left on the coffee table during “Breaking the Lease” (1952).
In “Ricky’s Life Story” (1953), the photo of Lucy ("That's a fine picture of my left arm!") holding Little Ricky, may actually be of Lucille Ball because the monogram on the blouse are the initials 'LB' - although it could be 'LR' as the lower part of the 'B' is blocked by the baby!. It could also be another person wearing Lucy’s blouse. Very meta!
When Look turned up in “Lucy Gets Ricky on the Radio” (1952), the June 3, 1952, issue actually had Lucille Ball on the cover!
Look was part of a 1952 flashback intro during Lucy’s pregnancy. Vivian Vance has her hand over Ball’s photo. Inside is an article by Desi Arnaz about his wife.
Another ‘meta’ magazine appearance was in “Ricky Has Labor Pains” (1953) where a pregnant Lucy is reading the January 1953 McCall's (January 1953), which clearly has a cover that say “Why I Love Lucy” by Desi Arnaz!
~ META COSTUMES ~
Desi Arnaz was such a golf nut that he built a second home on the 17th fairway of the Thunderbird Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Ricky Ricardo (an East Coast golfer) wore the Thunderbird insignia on his cap in “The Golf Game” (1954). Desi ad-libs a verbal mention of the club at the start of “The Charm School” (S3;E15) earlier in 1954.
RICKY: “You know, the whole membership of the Thunderbird Club was around the 18th hole. All I had to do was make this measly two-foot putt to win, and I missed it!”
In “Lucy and Aladdin’s Lamp” (1971), Lucy Ricardo’s trademark blue polka dot dress turns up at Lucy Carters garage sale! The dress is a visual Easter Egg but is never talked about.
~ META MUSIC ~
For “Lucy’s Last Birthday” (1953), Ricky’s birthday present to Lucy is a song called “I Love Lucy.” In reality, viewers had been listening to the Eliot Daniel theme song for nearly two years, but the previously unheard lyrics by Harold Adamson were new.
In “Job Switching” (1952), nine weeks before it was announced that Lucy Ricardo would have a baby, Ricky is heard idly whistling “There’s A Brand New Baby in Our House,” a song that Desi Arnaz wrote several years earlier for the birth of his daughter. When Ethel asks Ricky if he wrote the song, he replies that he wrote it for Lucy. But since Lucie and Lucy are pronounced the same, Desi may be talking about his daughter!
A few weeks later, in “Sales Resistance” (1953), Ricky sings the song in full, recording it on a reel to reel tape recorder in his living room. Coincidentally, the song was released on the B side of the “I Love Lucy” theme song.
~ META CASTING ~
In “Don Juan is Shelved” (1955) Lucy thinks real-life Hollywood producer Dore Schary is an out-of-work actor so she hires him to pretend to be... Dore Schary! Schary was supposed to play himself in the episode, but backed out at the last minute and the role was recast with Phil Ober, marring the mega meta nature of the episode. An added layer of meta was added by casting Ober, who was married to Vivian Vance and was - at times - an “out-of-work actor.”
Frank Nelson memorably played the exasperated train conductor dealing with Lucy Ricardo in “The Great Train Robbery” (1955), then reprised the role to deal with Lucy Carmichael when “Lucy Visits the White House” (1963). Since the conductor was never given a character name - it is possible he exists in both metaverses!
William Frawley made his last scripted television appearance in “Lucy and the Countess Have a Horse Guest” (1965) as a horse trainer. When he is out of earshot, Lucy Carmichael turns the Countess (Ann Sothern) and says:
LUCY: “You know, he reminds me of someone I used to know.”
Frawley spent nine years playing Fred Mertz on “I Love Lucy.”
“Lucy The Gun Moll” (1966) is essentially a parody of Desilu’s crime drama “The Untouchables.” The meta madness is that the original actors (Robert Stack, Bruce Gordon, Steve London, and Walter Winchell) were cast, but the character names were changed to protect the innocent! Lucy, as chanteuse Rusty Martin, even mentions the series title to pound the satire home.
At the end of “Lucy Visits Jack Benny” (1974), the world’s most famous bus driver Ralph Kramden makes a wordless appearance. Jackie Gleason played the character on his variety show and the sitcom “The Honeymooners”, airing simultaneously with “I Love Lucy.” Ball and Gleason collaborated on several specials. The meta world that contains Lucy Carter, Ralph also exists!
~ META REAL ESTATE ~
In “The Tour” (1956), the Beverly Hills home of Richard Widmark actually is the home of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. A second unit film crew was sent to Roxbury Drive residence to film establishing shots of Lucy and Ethel walking up to the home. The actors, however, are not Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance, but identically dressed doubles!
When “Lucy Sues Mooney” (1967) with the help of her wily lawyer Wally Wiley (Jack Carter), she gives her address as 780 Gower Street. This was the address of the Desilu Studios Production Offices. An extra layer of meta is added because Carter was best man at Ball’s wedding to Gary Morton. Lucy Carmichael also gives this as her address in “Lucy The Babysitter” (1967).
~ META MENTIONS ~
In “Baby Pictures” (1953) Charlie Appleby tries to impress the Ricardos about his TV station’s catalog of films:
CHARLIE: “We’ve got the newest moving pictures in town. I bought a block of films yesterday, and I want to tell you that they’re going to make television stars out of some of the actors. Now, just remember their names: Conway Tearle and Mabel Normand.”
Conway Tearle’s career bounced between Broadway and Hollywood. One of his last starring roles was in Hey Diddle Diddle, a play that premiered in 1937 featuring a 26 year-old Lucille Ball. The play was scheduled to open on Broadway, but closed after one week in Washington DC due to Tearle’s declining health. Had it succeeded, Ball’s career trajectory might have been very different!
In 1967, TV producer and director Sheldon Leonard (who actually worked at Desilu), arranged to film a bank robbery at Mr. Mooney’s bank - but keeps it a secret from Lucy, naturally. The end of the episode turns very meta when Leonard says:
“I suddenly got this idea for a new television series. It would be about this kooky red headed girl. She works in a bank and she gets into all sorts of impossible situations and… ...forget it. Nobody would ever believe it!”
A guest appearance by Van Johnson in “Guess Who Owes Lucy $23.50?” (1968) is used as an opportunity to promote their recently released film Yours Mine and Ours, where Lucy plays the wife of Henry Fonda and Johnson their best friend.
VAN JOHNSON: “I loved working with that kooky redhead.” LUCY CARTER: “Personally, I thought she was much too young for Henry Fonda.”
During Lucille Ball’s third appearance on “The Carol Burnett Show” (1969) two flight attendants Finster (Carol) and Agnes (Lucille Ball) compete for a best employee award. They encounter a suspicious passenger (Harvey Korman) with a Fidel Castro-like beard, cigars tucked in his breast pocket, and a Spanish accent.
HOOPER (Lucy):“Where are you from, sir? Havana?” PASSENGER (Korman): (alarmed) “Havana? What makes you think I’m from Havana?” HOOPER (Lucy):“Well, if it’s one thing I know, it’s a Cuban accent.”
This meta moment relies on the audience knowing that Lucille Ball had been married to Desi Arnaz, a Cuban immigrant, as was his sitcom spouse, Ricky Ricardo. In the late 1960′s hijacking planes to Cuba was headline news ripe for satire.
When “Lucy Competes With Carol Burnett” (1970), she dresses like a charwoman identical to the one created by Burnett for “The Carol Burnett Show.” When Carol Krausmeyer (disguised as a hippie reporter) asks how Lucy Carter thought up such a crazy outfit.
LUCY: “From some goofy dame on TV.” CAROL: “Well, she must be some kind of nut!”
~ THE DESILU METAVERSE ~
Lucy Ricardo met Danny Williams (Danny Thomas) on a cross-over episode of “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour”;
Danny Williams drives through Mayberry and meets Sheriff Andy Taylor, which spawns “The Andy Griffith Show”;
“The Andy Griffith Show” is where the Gomer Pyle (Jim Nabors) character began before getting his own show. “Gomer Pyle USMC”;
Gomer Pyle turns up on “The Lucy Show,” although here she is Lucy Carmichael, not Lucy Ricardo (even though both women share the maiden name McGillacuddy).
The outcome is that Lucy Ricardo and Lucy Carmichael exist in the same (TV) Metaverse!
~ METAGRAPHS ~
In “Lucy The Gun Moll” (1966) Rusty Martin’s (aka Lucy) dressing room is decorated with black and white photographs of Lucille Ball performing. Behind Robert Stack is a photo of Ball singing “Jitterbug Bite” in the 1940 film Dance, Girl, Dance. She met Desi Arnaz while making this movie. It was filmed at RKO, the studio that became Desilu.
When Kim decorates her room with posters of classic film stars in “Lucy and the Andrews Sisters” (1969), Lucy Carter finds a poster of Lucille Ball! She looks at it thoughtfully, is about to put it on the wall, and then says “Meh” and puts it down.
When “Lucy Carter Meets Lucille Ball” (1974), the walls of Ball’s dressing room are covered with photos from the star’s real life, including one of her mother Dede.
The black and white photo next to the door is from “The Lucy Show” episode “Lucy and Chris’s New Year’s Eve Party” (1962) where Lucy Carmichael did a silent movie sketch as Charlie Chaplin. So Lucille Ball is playing Lucy Carmichael who is playing Charlie Chaplin!
In 1975′s Lucille Ball special with Dean Martin, “Lucy Gets Lucky”, Lucy Collins admires a photo of Lucille Ball while walking through the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel’s Hollywood Hall of Fame.
~ META MASTERPIECE ~
The ultimate visit to the Metaverse is the “Here’s Lucy” episode “Lucy Carter Meets Lucille Ball” (1974), in which Lucy, Kim, and Cynthia (Carole Cook) enter a Lucille Ball look-alike contest.
With the assistance of split screens and doubles (the best technology available at the time, Ball played both roles - and was even billed accordingly!
Lucy, Cynthia, and Kim both don caftans and dark wigs to emulate Ball’s look in her upcoming film Mame, although the film is never directly mentioned. Kim says that a lot of her friends think she looks like Lucille Ball.
LUCY: “That's ridiculous. She's old enough to be your mother!”
And the winner is...
...Lucy, naturally!

Capt’s Log No. 42_SL’s BIG 20!
iM SuCh a NeRd ! I really do have a designated outfit for Mentoring in AND it matches Bellisaria Welcome Center. W my matching bot friend lol I have been learning a lot as a mentor from other mentors, things about SL and the various worlds and niches you can find here. When you stay so enmeshed in your reality in SL you tend to forget just how vast it is. Its really unfathomable at times, just like they say our galaxy is continuously growing as we are discovering new parts of it, SL is a quantum realm in a way... I have to write a whole article about my views on SL and the astral world and the correlations therin. I digress
SL20B was a blast! I attended the premier of an SL documentary that was amazing, I got to see Phil Linden, Strawberry, all the OGs that was great! I love the talks that they do and all the different things that showcase how amazing SL is, the gifts and exhibits, and opportunities to volunteer and meet new people, and of course THE MUSIC!
My pops did a great couple of sets, it was really dope to see him in a different SL crowd of people that may never have stumbled upon Meroe or the Movement by themselves, that in itself is really cool to me because his sets always plant seeds for self reflection and spiritual growth and understanding. I really love when he does the cinematic spoken word because that is something unique that ive NEVER seen or heard anywhere else in my life. It is truly special my dad goes off!
Gigi, Lex, and I are usually there to support when we can! Partying it up and being the vibes! These glowsticks Lex gifted us def elevated the mood, Lex is a W stage hand. Also, I have to mention because this is something that never goes away, prejudice and racism in SL... during events like this there are always a few bad eggs that bring down the vibes with weird comments and actions towards avatars that look like us, or represent themselves with a strong spiritual and purpose led conviction. Its all about frequency, not all frequencies will mix but people on SL can sometimes come off quite prejudice or whatevs. lmao. Even self hating for some people! When you really dig into the various regions and worlds in SL you can see how perverse/self hating many of the themes can seem. Its quite interesting. Lol high going off on tangents. Look how cute Gigi and I look !! XD
I got to do my own set it was dope af “Summer Of Love” was my set theme, I put together a set that represented my time in SL thus far, I played a whole Hippie woodstock classic rock set with my favs Jimi, and all the greats. I played Grateful Dead in honor of my first home “Darkstar “ and the old hippies from the lot... XD Then I played some Drum and Bass in honor of one of my fav clubs ive been going to for 10+ years Bassline Junkies. The same folk there and say “Oi oi“ when I enter, Eon the hamster. Great fellow! Then I played house music, in honor of all the various house groups I am a member of and clubs I attend, I fell in love with house in SL, and i ended it with just some feel good jams
oh! and I did a reading for Secondlife and its residents and the future of SL how could I forget that XD yep It was a blast I kilt it . I even built the set in blender and everything!
I wore this belt as my everyday attire on my old SL avie before mesh was a thing. This was my favorite ! It has flexi fabrics that flow when you dance and walk tied on it and little pouches and gris gris bags on it. It was a very sentimental set for me tbh. It was the first time I participated in SLB and it was also the first time I used mic in a full curated set and everything.
Happy Satisfied W My New Strawberry & Patch! I got Phil and Ober bears tooo I collected a bunch ngl XD
Mystory Connect is about to pop off, prepping for major RP vibes ! I am so ready to bring new ppl on the regions and make fun stories and tings, we been plottin and plannin! I am now the Real Estate Agent for mystory! I am super excited because these regions are so well built, you can drive everywhere, ride your bike , you can take the subway which is real working subway, its got all kinds of dope commercial and residential spots to live and work and have great roleplay in. I just love how intimate and homey these regions are, and there are always people around, but its about to be even more poppin with all the new things coming in that we rollin out!
Me and Val havin a cute lunch meeting date at ITALVIBEZ ! That restaurant is the BOMB.COM I love getting oxtail bowl, beef patties, and the guava smoothie drink!! Theres also cute sippy cups that I get for Yemsters she loves them!! Baby ITAL eatsssss :p

Twins Continually Rally To Get Past Phils!
Phillies 2 Twins 7 W-Ober (9-5) L-Suarez (10-5) SV-Sands (3)
The Minnesota Twins had a rough weekend against the Brewers. They hosted the Phillies on a rainy night at Target Field tonight. The Phillies were ready from the start as Trea Turner lined a one-out single to right in the first and Bryce Harper smoked a Bailey Ober cutter out to right for a two-run homer. This put the Phillies up by a pair before the Twins grabbed a bat. The Twins answered in the third as Diego Castillo drew a one-out walk and Manny Margot singled. Willi Castro singled home a run to put Minnesota on the board. The Twins got back to work in the fifth with a Max Kepler lead-off single and a Diego Castillo ground-rule double. Manny Margot plated a pair with a base hit to right to put the Twins on top. Meanwhile, Bailey Ober finished off seven solid innings after a rough first frame. The Twins added some insurance in the bottom of the seventh as Ryan Jeffers led-off with a double to left. Carlos Santana plated him with a two-out double. This doubled the Twins lead to two and Cole Sands had a 1-2-3 eighth. The Twins kept adding on in the bottom of the eighth when Trevor Larnach lined a lead-off double to right-center. Max Kepler hit a run-scoring single to center and the Minnesota lead grew to three. The Twins quickly loaded up the bases and Willi Castro drew a bases loaded walk. A wild pitch plated another run to put the Twins up by five heading into the ninth. Cole Sands put up a zero in the ninth and the Twins took the first game from the Phillies tonight.
-Final Thoughts- Bailey Ober had a rough first inning then settled down and threw a great game. He went seven innings and allowed two runs on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts. Cole Sands struck out two over two scoreless innings. Manny Margot, Ryan Jeffers, Carlos Santana, and Max Kepler had two hits each. The Twins hit 5-for-15 with runners in scoring position and left eleven men on base. This was a good win for the Twins, who fell behind early against a good team. Tomorrow, Zack Wheeler faces Simeon Woods Richardson in Game 2.

Was machst du für Videos?

Gast: Ja dann hast du doch eigentlich gar keine Fans

Gast: Ja und was machst du dann jetzt? Headbangvideos?
Trinkt was und schnauft

Neuer Gast kommt rein

Gerade in nem anderen Forum gefunden. Ob das was bringt?

North by Northwest (1959)
Film
Thrillers
There’s no other thriller as elegant, light-touched and sexy as Hitchcock’s silken caper. Cary Grant’s suavely hollow adman Roger O. Thornhill (“What does the O. stand for?” “Nothing.”) is Don Draper with a sense of humor, which he sorely needs when he contracts a bad case of Wrong Man–itis. The set pieces, the villains, Eva Marie Saint’s femme fatale, Saul Bass’s credits, Bernard Herrmann’s musical cues—somehow the film manages to be even more than the sum of its glorious parts. Oh, and somewhere in there, Thornhill even manages to find his soul.—Phil de Semlyen
Read more North by Northwest
Time Out says 4 out of 5 stars
Fifty years on, you could say that Hitchcock’s sleek, wry, paranoid thriller caught the zeitgeist perfectly: Cold War shadiness, secret agents of power, urbane modernism, the ant-like bustle of city life, and a hint of dread behind the sharp suits of affluence. Cary Grant’s Roger Thornhill, the film’s sharply dressed ad exec who is sucked into a vortex of mistaken identity, certainly wouldn’t be out of place in ‘Mad Men’. But there’s nothing dated about this perfect storm of talent, from Hitchcock and Grant to writer Ernest Lehman (‘Sweet Smell of Success’), co-stars James Mason and Eva Marie Saint, composer Bernard Herrmann and even designer Saul Bass, whose opening-credits sequence still manages to send a shiver down the spine.
Hitchcock breezes through a tongue-in-cheek, nightmarish plot with a lightness of touch that’s equalled by a charming performance from Grant (below), who copes effortlessly with the script’s dash between claustrophobia and intrigue on one hand and romance and comedy on the other. The story is a pass-the-parcel of escalating threats, all of them interior fears turned inside-out: doubting mothers, untrustworthy lovers, vague government handlers, corrupt cops. Within minutes of the film’s opening, shady strangers in a hotel lobby mistake Thornhill for a ‘George Caplin’ and from there we sprint from country house to the United Nations, from the ticket hall of Grand Central Station to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Thornhill’s ignorance of his fate and complete lack of control offer Hitchcock a brilliant blank canvas on which to experiment with a story that would sound ludicrous on paper, yet it feels like anything’s possible in Lehman’s playful script. ‘I’m an advertising man, not a red herring,’ says Thornhill. He couldn’t be more mistaken.

@knightley--phillip
If Phil happened to kill this rose bush, Winston had others. He'd moved a set of them away, out to a separate greenhouse, and they hadn't been destroyed during Willow's...adventure.
He needed to check on her again, actually, but that was a plan for amother time, when he wasn't going to be coated in dirt and sweat momentarily.
"Even if it isn't," Winston says, grinning slightly still, "most of the time they aren't so far gone as all that. You kept Rory's little succulent fellow alive, yes?"
Winston knew he had, for the most part. He thinks that the dropper had done most of the work.
When Phil asks him how to add more acid to the soil, Winston leans off the railing and gestures toward his car, already taking the stairs down again as he talks. "Give it a different soil composition, most of the time," he says, popping the trunk of his car and tossing one, then two, bags Ober his shoulders. "Figured I'd bring extra and you could keep it here once I laid the first bag out. It should need more than that, really."

.............
-Does not follow the resident evil story, but does take some inspiration from it-
-Despite how dark re8 is the SBI will only be semi-dark as I really want them to just have healthy strong relationships with one another-
Philza Minecraft takes the place of Mother Miranda (Obviously). Unlike her however he genuinely does love his little found family. He has giant black wings and has contol over a large muder of crows. He also has some control over the lords and their housemates as well as much of the surrounding forest. Is able to send orders and is connected to the chat a huge hivemind he is part of.
...................
Technoblade as the oldest Lord/Child, he has lordship over House Sanguis, his ability lays writhin blood as he has control of his own and his creations blood and is able to go into a bloodrage. He is also more deeply rooted into the chat's hive mind than any of his siblings or even Phil himself is which sometimes gives him knowledge he did not get himself.
Members of House Sanguis:
-Technoblade
- did you really expect to see someone else?
..............
Wilbur is the Second Oldest Lord and has lordship over House Umbra. His powers lays more within psychological horror and he is able to drive someone to insanity with horrific hallicinations and mind games. He is able to turn into a second more Phantomly form with various benefits and drawbacks. Is connected to the chat.
Members of House Umbra:

MAD MONEY!!!
Lucy & Cash: A Crypto-History
One of the great dramatic devices is the pursuit of money. The Lucy character was generally a middle class, working mother who was in pursuit of the American dream. Her entrepreneurial aspirations were only matched by her fiscal irresponsibility.
Blood Money (1934) ~ The metaphorical title of Lucille Ball’s 4th film.
“Trying to Cash the Prize Check” (1950) ~ Liz (Lucille Ball) goes on a radio quiz show and wins a check for $500, but she only gets to keep it if she can cash it within 25 minutes, and the banks are all closed!
I LOVE LU¢Y
“The Quiz Show” (1951) ~ With Lucy’s household accounts in arrears, she goes on a radio quiz show to win a $1,000!
Publicity photo showing Phil Ober handing Lucy the cash prize after dealing with a tramp (John Emery).
Lucy wins the prize, but after some quick accounting by Ricky, Lucy is left with just 25 cents!
“The Freezer” (1952)
“Job Switching” (1952)
“The Business Manager” (1954) ~ Lucy figures out how to ‘game the system’ and pay her bills as well! This is one of the best examples of money management gone wrong on all of television!
LUCY (to ETHEL): “They’re making the bills smaller, aren’t they?”
Lucy can’t think fast enough to answer Ricky’s financial questions about her windfall at the “market”.
Lucy listens for her “little small voice” - which tells her what to buy at the “market”.
Lucy breezes out of the room after giving Ricky money for a haircut.
“The Girls Go Into Business” (1953) ~ Lucy and Ethel buy a dress shop they think is a gold mine! Lucy figures that based on the fact that she saw two customers buy $200 in merchandise in five minutes, they would make $2,400 an hour, and $19,000 a day! On the day this episode was filmed, September 11, 1953, hundreds of women took to the streets of New York City to track down bargains as part of 1953 Dollar Days. It was also the same day Lucille Ball was accused of being a Communist. Earning green paled compared to being called red!
MRS. HANSEN: Oh, you’re the dearest, sweetest girls in all the world and how do you want to handle the down payment? LUCY: Uh, well, what did you have in mind? MRS. HANSEN (bluntly): Money.
Mabel Paige (Mrs. Hansen) does a brilliant job of portraying a little old lady with the heart of a cash register!
Oops! Mrs. Hansen can’t need money all that much, since she leaves a bill lying on the floor!
Lucy and Ethel sell the shop for $3,500. Lucy and Ethel think they’ve made a nifty profit – until they boys tell them the building sold to developers for $50,000!
“Bonus Bucks” (1954) ~ Lucy finds the winning dollar bill in the newspaper’s Bonus Buck contest, but lets it slip through her fingers. Now she has only a few hours left to get it back to qualify for the cash prize! This was another of the best of the money madness episodes. Everything revolves around the almighty dollar! In real life, contests like these were called Lucky Bucks, but since Lucky Strike was the largest competitor of “I Love Lucy’s” sponsor, Philip Morris, the writers were discouraged from using the word ‘lucky.
The episode begins with Lucy paying for her grocer delivery, careful not to pay with a buck whose serial number had not been checked.
Lucy and Ethel check their bills against the newspaper’s published seriel numbers to see if they are winners.
When they find one - they fight over who it belongs to - ripping it in half!
After ransacking the laundry to get the bill back, they are awarded the prize money. After expenses, they are left with one dollar - the same amount they started with! Fred gives the lone bill to a starched Lucy. End credits roll.
“The Diner” (1954) ~ After a price war over hamburgers reduces the price to a penny, A Little Bit of Cuba gives a drunk a dollar to buy 100 hamburgers from a Big Hunk of America.
“Getting Ready” (1954) ~ Talking in his sleep during a nap on the sofa, Ricky is dreaming of Hollywood.
RICKY: “No. No, Mr. Zanuck. My price is a million dollars, Mr. Zanuck.”
“The Million Dollar Idea” (1954) ~ Lucy wants to sell her own salad dressing - until Ricky points out that she is losing money on every jar! Although this episode was all about making money, no money was ever made.
In April 2019, CBS colorized “Million Dollar Idea” and “Bonus Bucks” and aired them under the title Funny Mooney $pecial.
“Bon Voyage” (1956) ~ After missing the ship to Europe, Lucy arranges to be lowered to the deck by helicopter. Learning that the chopper can’t land on the ship, she tries to convince the pilot to fly her to Europe!
“Paris at Last!” (1955) ~ Lucy’s money trouble didn’t stop at the border. She exchanges American money for French Francs. Little does she know the man (Lawrence Dobkin) standing in front of the American Express Office is a forger!
“Lucy Goes to Monte Carlo” (1956) ~ While traveling through the French Riviera, Lucy promises Ricky she won’t step foot inside a casino, but inadvertently gambles her way into a small fortune. Ricky finds the cash hidden in Ethel’s lingerie case. He thinks Fred is embezzling. The Desilu props department visited Earl Hays Press in Hollywood to have the money printed for this episode.
THE LU¢Y $HOW
When Mr. Mooney arrives in Danfield to work at the bank, he reads from Mr. Barnsdahl’s 27-page memo about Mrs. Carmichael:
“To get money from the bank, she will threaten, wheedle, cajole, cry, implore, jolly and stage tantrums.”
“Lucy Misplaces $2,000″ (1962) ~ The bank gives Lucy $2,000 instead of $20. Lucy gazes lovingly at the four $500 bills and remarks that President McKinley has a lovely smile. When it comes time to return the cash, it is missing. Lucy and Viv track down the money to a local carnival.
“Lucy, the Bird Sitter” (1964) ~ Mr. Mooney’s pet bird is a female cockatiel named Greenback for its coloration. “Greenback” is also a slang word for US paper currency due to its dark green color; an ideal name for a miserly banker’s bird!
“Lucy the Coin Collector” (1964) ~ When Jerry finds a rare penny worth $16.50, Lucy and Viv decide to search through thousands of pennies to find a rare one.
Lucy asks Mr. Mooney for change for a ten dollar bill - all pennies!
Viv volunteers to sing a couple of choruses from “Pennies from Heaven” or “Three Coins in the Fountain.” Both songs also were the titles of popular films.
“Lucy, the Meter Maid” (1964) ~ Viv volunteers to pay her parking fine rather than face a ticket, but Lucy thinks of it as a bribe.
“Lucy and the Great Bank Robbery” (1964) ~ When Lucy rents out Viv’s room to two gentlemen visiting for the World’s Fair, they turn out to be bank robbers who stash the loot in Viv’s mattress.
“Lucy, the Bean Queen” (1966) ~ Mr. Mooney partners with an enterprising southern colonel to market canned baked beans. Their sales are plunging until Lucy gets involved.
HERE’$ LUCY
“Lucy Makes a Few Extra Dollars” (1971) ~ Literally!
“Lucy Loses Her Cool” (1970) ~ Lucy goes on the Art Linkletter Show and is challenged not to lose her temper for 24 hours in order to win $500.
"Dirty Gertie” (1972)
“Lucy Takes Over” (1970) ~ Lucy finds her great grandmother's diary with an IOU from one of Harry's relatives tucked inside. With interest, Lucy estimates Harry owes her thousands of dollars and soon she's taken over his business!
“Lucy the Process Server” (1968) ~ Harry asks Lucy to deliver a summons and make a bank deposit. Lucy gets the two mixed-up and loses the envelope of $1,500 cash!
CA$H REGISTER$
“The Diner” (1954) ~ After the diner is divided in two, the cash register is left straddling the border between “Cuba” and “America”.
“Lucy Competes with Carol Burnett” (1970) ~ Frequent extra Vanda Barra has no lines, but a very funny bit of business with a cafeteria cash register.
“Lucy Visits Jack Benny” (1968) ~ At Jack Benny’s home in Palm Springs, he makes change for Lucy on his toy cash register.
“Lucy and the Franchise Fiasco” (1973) ~ The same cash register was used at both the luncheonette and the custard stand (with a penguin sticker slapped on the side).
$TICKER $HOCK!
“Lucy is Matchmaker” (1953)
“Sentimental Anniversary” (1954) ~ The Mertzes give the Ricardos a silver cigarette lighter. Although Fred is shocked to see the price tag says $32.50, Ethel admits the real price was $4.95.
“The Fashion Show” (1955)
LUCY: “Doesn't Loper know any other numbers but 5-0-0?!”
Shopping for the best prices on furniture in “Lucy Bags a Bargain” (1966) and “Lucy Gets Chummy with the Neighbors” (1957).
Mistaking price tags for stock numbers, Lucy has sticker shock realizing how much she spent on new furniture for the Connecticut house.
“Guess Who Owes Lucy $23.50?” (1968) ~ It’s Van Johnson! Or is it?
Lucille Ball’s favorite gameshow “Password” added a new feature for their “Super Password” (1986) reboot called Cashword.

I still can't get ober in one of the more recent sims 4 episodes when Phil's like "I'm more of a sausage-in-the-evening kind of guy" and the way Dan just kinda doesn't say anything or really laugh but when he finally responds he just says "fuck" with a voice crack like when youre trying to hide the fact that whatever just happened turned you on and youre trying to be smooth about it
that was one of the most iconic moments this year, like... i just love it because phil definitely knew what that would sound like and still he said it and dan absolutely lost it after that - he tried to be smooth but he failed big time

Was ist sonst passiert?

Phils Edge Twins 3-2.
Twins 2 Phillies 3 W-Bellatti (1-0) L-Balazovic (0-1) SV-Baker (1)
The Minnesota Twins picked up a much-needed win yesterday at home. They headed up to Clearwater to play the Phillies this afternoon. The Twins got the scoring started in the second as Trevor Larnach drew a one-out walk. Brooks Lee doubled him home to put the Twins on the board. The Phillies answered in the bottom of the second as Nick Castellanos smoked a Bailey Ober fastball out to left for a solo shot to tie the game. The Twins bounced back in the third when Ryan Jeffers crushed a Jose Alvarado offering out to center for a solo blast. This put the Twins up by a run after three innings of play. Pitching dominated the middle innings and the Phillies put together a rally in the seventh. Will Simoneit and Trevor Schweke singled to start things. Felix Reyes doubled them home and Philadelphia took the lead. Tyler McKay had a perfect eighth and Andrew Baker close it out in the ninth as the Phillies beat the Twins today.
-Final Thoughts- Bailey Ober looked sharp against a good Phillies lineup. He threw three innings and allowed a run on one hit with seven strikeouts. Jorge Alcala struck out two in the fourth, Jeff Brigham had a perfect fifth, and Daniel Durate fanned two in the sixth. Jordan Balazovic gave up two runs in the seventh to take the loss and Ronny Henriquez had a scoreless eighth. Ryan Jeffers led the way with two hits. The Twins hit 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base. The Twins will return home tomorrow and play the Rays. Zack Littell will face Simeon Woods Richardson on a Sunday matinee.

Love Within the Ivy
Summary / Prince Daniel hates himself in the castle. So when he runs away and is hidden away by a young man named Phil, falling in love isn’t what he expects / 3,768 words /
Warning / uh, indirect homophobia? I think that’s it. Some fluffy ass smut /
Authors Note / hi guys! This is my first fic (that I’ve published) , so I hope you guys enjoy it!! /
He ran, faster than he ever had, steps echoing through his head, blood pumping in his ears. Thorns tore at his face and clothing, little rips in the fabric where blood can now be seen. The shouts of guards were getting quieter due to the distance, but the panic of getting caught still pooled in his chest. He looked back, glancing quickly to see if anyone was upon him but felt himself slam into someone else’s chest. He felt his head crash into another, his chest slam into a torso. To compensate for crashing into this person, he fell backwards into the dirt. “Prince Daniel?”
Dan snapped his head up, looking to the person he crashed into. He rushed a half bow, then offered his hand. Dan took up and made his way off of the ground, looking up to the boy in front of him. He was tall, lanky, and quizzical, and his eyes shone in the golden sunlight. They were blue and green and yellow, swirling like flowers in the lake Dan spent most of his days on. His skin was a pale ivory, a contrast to the raven black hair. “I-i need a place to hide.” “What?” His face shone with incredulous belief, “Please! I can’t…I can’t go back there.” “I’m Phillip. Come with me.” He smiled at Dan, and took his hand much to Dans astonishment. “I think he went this way!”
Shouts of the guards echoed through the empty forest, and panic flared through Dans chest. His eyes widened in panic, and his hand clasped around Phil’s. Phil started running, his strides lanky and not so graceful, but experienced, stepping over sticks and stones. He ducked through a wall of ivy, a curtain of green stems winding in different directions. Sliding through the wall of greenery, Dan felt a wave of calmness slide over him, and he looked around at the alcove that held a small house, a colorful garden, and a small pond. He cocked his head and smiled, taking in the smell of herbs and earth, along with the soft sweetness of flowers and water. The sun was beginning to set, the colors or blue and oranges and pinks swirling in the air. He felt at peace, but with Phil’s hand wrapped around his he couldn’t seem to slow his heart rate. Phil lead him inside, but didn’t let go of his hand until he realized Dans eyes were glued upon them. He let go with a start, a blush covering his cheeks.
“Ah it’s late I’m sure you’re hungry-” “Oh no Phillip I can make food. You’re already hiding me, for which I am extremely grateful.” The shorter boy smiled, a dimple showing up in his cheek, sweet and soft. “You can cook?” “I’m a prince not a king, I’m not entirely useless.” The jab at his father was indirect and tasteless, but hidden under the sense of humour. Phil smiled, and Dan couldn’t help but stare at him. He shook his head and got up, took a breath, and lit the fireplace. Phil watched in a state of awe as he began to cook, not at the skill but at the fact that he had PRINCE DANIEL in his kitchen, and he was cute. “You look pretty young to be living alone.” Dans voice was subdued, and he didn’t turn around to Phil as he spoke.
“I’m not that young..and my parents died a couple years ago. My brother is off in some village. Who knows.” The conversation turned atrabilious, and Phil couldn’t help himself. “Why did you leave the castle? Why don’t you want to go back? If I were you I would relish living in such a place.” Frustration flared up in Dans chest, a hatred for the life clear for Phil to see. “You would wouldn’t you?!” He snapped, but then closing his eyes and taking a breath. “May I go outside?” Phil was dumbfounded, he wasn’t sure why Dan seemed to snap, but he nodded nonetheless. His steps were light and springy despite his tall nature, but they echoed through the tension. He closed the door lightly, walked outside. Dan smelled the familiarity of earth, the sweet scent of flowers. He sat down on a rock by the pond, his fingers skimming over the blue water. Something in his mind compared it to the lake at the palace, though that one reminded him of tears washed away by the tide.
This one, Phil’s lake, felt like warmth, like being wrapped in a blanket before a fire, the snow falling around him. Before his knew it, his fingers were undoing the buttons on his shirt, and it was sent off his head and discarded onto the rock behind him. He did the same with his pants, and then his shoes. He slid into the water, and the tips oh his toes slid ober the mossy rocks. He ducked under the water, feeling it run over his head. When he came back up, his hair was wet and curly, less contained than what it had been before. Worry was a knot in the back of his mind, a voice telling him, over and over, to go back, to leave, to hide, to run. It was contradictory and confusing, and he hated it. It was only when a tear dropped noisily into the water underneath him that he realized he was crying; crying for the loss of innocence, crying because he missed his home bit not the people, crying with depressive emotions he hated.
Dan heard a gasp, and his head shot up from gazing into the water below, and his eyes fell upon Phil. Both blushed, Daniel due to the embarrassment of being caught, his head overflowing with regret. Phil was distracted by Dans chest poking out of the water, drops falling down his collarbones and tears falling down his face. “O-oh! I’m so sorry I wasn’t thinking I-i-i-” “No! It’s fine honestly I swim in there all the time…” Phil spoke sheepishly, trying not to stare and Dan; the mixture of his pale chest and tired eyes intoxicating. “You um…you can join-well if you want to I wouldn’t want-” “Thank you.”
Dan looked away, blushing as Phil undressed behind him. He fell noisily into the water, his face flushing as the water surrounded him. Dan turned around as he heard this, but as Phil misjudged the depth of the pond, he was propelled forward and into Dans lips. They froze in shock, their bodies bobbing together in the water. Phil broke away, turning around with a face as red as a tomato. The shame of his clumsiness was played throughout him, and he moved to push himself out of the pond. Dan snapped out a stupor as Phil began to leave, and placed his hand warily on Phil’s shoulder. His touch shocked Phil, and he turned around. He slid back into the water, his face closer to Dans than it had been with anyone.
“Close your eyes.” Dan whispered, his arms wrapping around Phil’s neck, tying to him like a tether. Phil did as he said, abandoning sight in the romantic spur. Dan took a shaky breath, pressing his lips to Phil’s once more as the water pounded to the sound of his heartbeat. The sky changed as their lips met, a perfect explosion of emotions influenced by events. The sun set around them as they embraced, two strangers with lips locked through a new tide.
The next morning awoke with tea and fresh smiles, a conversation of new beginnings.
“I have a spare room. It’s not much, only a small cot and a side table, but…” A lovingly silent breakfast was interrupted, and Dan imagined life in Phil’s simple cottage. “Its perfect.” Dan whispered, his eyes plastered into the cup in front of him. His eyes flashed up, staring into the blue-green eyes of the boy in front of him, a new hope boiling in his chest.
Love wasn’t something they had hoped for, or anything they thought would happen; it was absentminded smiles in the dawn of morning, and soft embraces by the fireplace. It was splashing eachother in the chilly water of their pond and fresh tea left on side tables. It was the weak look that Phil gave Dan silently as he sang, and Dans simple smiles when Phil left freshly sewn clothes on his cot. It was vibrant kisses stolen under moonlight accompanied with nights of gin. It was minuete glimpses of bare skin, the impending blush that followed. It was Dans soft beauty and Phil’s underlying innocence, and the event fueled depression that chased them both. They took salvage in eachother, weeping angels in eachother arms. They healed eachother, all the while forging their own strength, and the strength of an unimaginable love.
Dan was wrapped in Phil’s arms, the bitter and cold December night air freezing their small cabin. He was all too aware of Phil’s body around him, skin to skin, electric love zipping through his skin. His heartbeat quickened, and his breathing hitched as Phil rested his head on Dans shoulder. It had been very little time Dan had found out his own shock of falling in love, and his senses seemed like they were dialed up to eleven around Phil. His mind raced, the imagination of Phil leaning to kiss his neck, up his jaw and onto his pink lips. He imagined laying together, and often blushed after. Coming out of his stupor, he realized he hadn’t imagined it all.
Phil was there, raven hair and pale skin and all, placing chaste and innocent kisses onto his neck. He froze, his body tensing up, wrapped in Phil’s lanky arms. “P-Phil?” “Yes Daniel?” “What are you doing?” His voice was quivering, silent, nervous, and insecure. “I had a realization today.” Dan turned around, his twisted knees resting in Phil’s lap, and his face eye level with Phil’s.
“I love you.” Dans breathing stopped, and his eyes were frozen on Phil’s, searching for a lie or a trick. But there was nothing but truth in his eyes, an undying honest love trapped in the eyes of a young man. “I love you too.” Dan stuttered silently, his eyes wide and filled with shock. Love was a new emotion.
Dans lips were soft, and was Phil easily lost in them, a winding spring day, smells of water and poppies and the breeze. Phil was lost in Daniel, lost in his scent and his taste and his laugh; lost in everything about him, and lost in love. Dan was in ecstasy, with Phil’s lips traveling across his face and his neck and down his chest. He was still sitting in Phil’s lap, and Phil’s arms were wrapped around him as Dan breathed in his scent. Their touches were electric, Phil’s aura making Dan dizzy, but he couldn’t stop, he couldn’t take himself away from what he wanted for so long. Phil stood up, breaking away from Dans pale skin and offering his hand, like he had done so many months ago.
Dan shivered, taking his hand easily as Phil lead them towards his bedroom. Dan couldn’t tell if he was nervous or excited, his heart was beating faster than it ever had, and yet he was calm. He laid Dan on the bed, kissing him anywhere he could, innocent and lovely, yet filled with something they did not know. Like so many months ago, Dan was entranced, now by the angel in front of him, and his fingers moved to slowly untie Phil’s shirt. Phil’s touches were delicate, living pinpricks of lightning. As clothes were abandoned so were words, replaced by erethral glances and innocent touches. Dans gasps were as beautiful and as graceful as his voice, and Phil’s want to touch every inch of skin that he could over took them both. And as they laid together, in love and stupor and giggles and honey kisses, they unified something stronger than love, stronger than hope, they made a future, a picture of only themselves.
As they awoke in a mix of warm skin and tangled limbs, the crisp winter sunlight shone through their window. It bore into their eyes and as Dan was blinded, he dug his head into Phil’s shoulder, pressing a kiss into his collarbone. “How are you my love?” Phil’s voice was gravely and barely awake, and he closed his eyes as he hummed into his lovers ear. “Its too bright.” Dans voice was muffled through his shoulder, and Phil felt the tickle of Dans eyelashes on his skin. Phil kissed his head lightly, and danced his fingers up his bare back. “Let’s make breakfast angel.” Phil’s voice had woekn up, amd become soft and sweet, and Dan loved every second of listening to it’s soothing tones. Dans mouth watered, and he lifted his head up, squinting his eyes to see Phil’s eyes, bright and beautiful. When they eventually got up, he was doe-eyed from sleep, his hair missing into a mess of directions, the curls wildly unruly.
Like they had the night before, they sat together, entangled in front of the fireplace. They drank tea that warmed their bones and ate berries; an adorable playfulness echoing through the air as they threw food into each others mouths. And yet, though they had professed a beautiful and undying love, they were the same. Phil still caught Dan staring at him with wide eyes, staring at his face in the light. Phil’s breath still stood still when he saw Daniel in the pond, pale skin shimmering in the water.
Winter and spring had come and gone, and the sweet sticky sense of summer had returned, making their hut unbearably hot and the forest a haven for heat. Dan spent most of his time in the pond, skimming fingers over the water and splashing around with his feet. Days were at a normal, lovely and constant, cooking dinners together and lying under the shade of trees and sweet kisses.
Phil wandered the forest, picking berries and looking for some abandoned haven. Phil hummed a song he had heard Daniel sing, and stopped when he heard a rustle, a branch break. He took a shaky breath, it was probably just an animal, he had thought. “Phillip!” He heard Dans cry, and his head snapped up. He dropped what he was carrying, breaking out into a run, his footsteps pounding in his head and snapping under his feet.
“Daniel! Dan I’m coming!” He shouted over the thumping steps, breaking through the trees and into the yard of their home, only to see the rustle of the ivy opening. “Please no! Don’t take me back there please!” Phil heard his lovers screams, and the image of tears streaming down Dans face crossed though his mind. He ran faster. He burst through the ivy curtain, seeing two guards dragging Dan by the arms. Something flared in his chest, but he forced himself to hide behind them and watch, quietly.
Dan struggled, kicking his legs and twisting his body, trying anything he could to break their grip. They thrust him forward, dragging him by his biceps, everything else dangling and forgotten. Dan, for a moment, stopped his struggle. He had noticed Phil peeking around one of the trees, and though he felt useless, a small smile crossed his lips. Unfortunately, one of the guards noticed. “What are you smiling at boy?” “N-nothing!” His tears remained, streaming down his face, but he had a new sense of calmness. “Something’s up.” The guards whispered to eachother, but the graceful sounds of the forest couldn’t cover their words. “You stay here with the prince. I’ll look around.”
The bulkier guard took off, leaving a tall and younger looking boy holding onto Daniel. Dans breath was ragged, he stood with arms loose around him. When the guard ducked around a tree, Phil ducked out, and Dan broke out of his imprisonment. He burst out into a run, grabbing Phil’s hand as he ran, breathless and desperate. They held hands for dear life, and tried to run from the shouts behind them.
They ran, heavy breaths in sync and an overall panic, they couldn’t hide forever. Their harmonious sanctuary was broken, and the guards were gaining on them. They were eager to get away, to escape the shouts and the terrors of life and just live alone; in their own perfect world. A rough hand grabbed Dan, pulling his arm back and then wrapping another around his torso. He screamed, being ripped from Phil’s hand.
“No! Let me to go no! Leave me alone!” He screamed in a useless panic, they were dragging him, draining his energy. The younger guard grabbed Phil, who kicked and screamed, trying to get to Dan. The larger man had charged forward, separating the two, and after a while of struggling, they both gave up. The guards trudged forward, forgetting any sense of sympathy. The castle was nearing them, and as Dans cries picked up again his breath quickened. Dan felt himself slip out of consciousness, a toxic combination of fear and exhaustion and hurt. His petaled eyelids closed, and he vaguely heard Phil call his name.
As he awoke with dreams of loss, his eyes opened to see the face of his father staring down at him. He recoiled, pulling up his legs and backing into the corner of his bed. He wanted to avoid his eyes, to look away, to escape. But his father’s eyes held such heartbreak, such anger, and an acute sense of love. “You’ve been sleeping for a while.” Dan didn’t respond, he couldn’t. His throat was frozen in fear and he wish, with every fiver of his being, that he was home.
“You’re home son, you don’t have to worry anymore.” “Home? I’m not home.” Dams voice was bitter and hurt, opposite of his normally sweet tone. “Where’s Phillip?” “You mean your kidnapper.” “Excuse me?” Dan was disgusted, the thought that Phil had taken him by force, or hurt him in anyway, killed him. “Thats what we have to say to…to hide your…tendencies.” “We have to lie about an innocent man to pretend I’m something I’m not!” Dan was screaming in anguish, his passion and anger bubbling over the surface. Anger flourished through his father, and the sharp crack of a slap rippled through the room. His breath was a shaky inhale, and his eyes were steely as he stared his father down. “There will be a trial in 5 days. You will not leave this room. I will let you rest.”
A questionable panic rushed through Dan, and his eyes widened. Dan screamed, asked why he was doing this, yelled not to hurt Phillip. He screamed until he heard the lock on the door, and then fell into a desperate rack of sobs. He cried until his eyes were dry and he had exhausted every bone in his body. There wasn’t one soul in the castle who hadn’t heard his cries; not one person who hadn’t grieved.
Sobs racked his whole body, shaking him in his bed. He slept on off for days, until the end of the fourth day. He knew that tomorrow, the love of his life would be sentenced to die, and he could not sleep. He cried for hours, silent tears creeping down his face and writhing their way into the wrinkles of his face. When the sadness had taken over and made his body collapse, he slept, nightmares filling his mind with images of Phil, tear stricken and in pain.
He was shaken awake in the deep of night, navy blues and violets shone through his window. “My prince, we have to go.” “Hm?” His face was red and his voice was groggy, and the light had left his eyes. “We need to leave.” “Leave where what are you-” “I know you love him.” Dan was at full attention now, anything regarding Phil gave him unbridled hope. “I can get you both out of here. Phillip is waiting with horses and supplies, go somewhere far from here. Don’t stop, don’t look back. Pack a few things, but be quick.” Dan shot out of the bed, pulling clothes into a satchel, along with a picture of his mother. He followed the young man silently, trying to think of words to thank him. He winced at the creak of the floors and his harsh steps, but his hope never waned. Dans heart was beating out of his chest, he feared that it was echoing through the castle halls, he feared that it would be the cause of their capture.
They slid out the oak doors as silently as they could, and at last, he was free. The navy blues and violets that had once shone through his window now adorned his face in beautiful colors. He faintly heard a horse winney impatiently, and his heart spiked at the thought of seeing his love. Dan took a breath and noticed his whole body was shaking, from his fingers down to his breath. The man in front of him beckoned, but placed a slender finger across his lips. They turned a corner, and there he was.
Phil was just as beautiful as the day they had met, the day he had lost him, and every day in between. The dark hues of night wrapped around him, but his features were lit up with the warm honey yellow glow of a lamp. Dan swalked to him, eyes wide in shock. “I never thought I’d see you again.” He cupped Phil face with his hands, softly, as if anything harder would shatter him. Phil’s eyes were full of tears, and Dan could see himself in them. They wrapped their arms around eachother, holding on for dear life. They forgot the people and they forgot the world. They only saw eachother. They clasped onto eachother, crying and beaming wildly, their love raw and true, visible for all to see, and they didn’t care.
“This is beautiful to see my prince, but you really need to get going. The servants are going to wake up soon.” They broke their embrace, neither of them wanted to. They had lost eachother once, though only for a few days, they didn’t want to do it again. Mounting the horses, Dan stared at Phil. The lights shone on his face and he was ethereal, and he knew he wanted to look at that for the rest of his life.
