  When Pariah was awoken from his slumber, he wasn’t exactly expecting it. One was never expecting to awaken when they were supposed to be sealed for eternity after all. He also wasn’t expecting for the reason the sarcophagus was even opened to be a pair of literal infants. A pair of very sick infants.

  One was a newborn ancient for Realms’ sake! Two years dead, if that, and the other- Where was their guardian?! Who had let an obsession get that bad?! How long had he been sealed away that no one had caught an obsession turning toxic and harmful towards a ghostling?! 

  Why was he even sealed inside this area of the zone?! Why had his Keep been moved in the center of one of the zones where ghostlings formed?! He’d never harm a ghostling, but if he’d been any madder (And he knows he had lost it near the end there, that he’d gone too far as he cracked under the weight of the Realms, he’d had an eternity to realize) it would have been a catastrophe! 

  Who has been in charge, the observants!? … What the fuck, that was supposed to be rhetorical! No! They’re good for paperwork but they seem to have failed even at that and- what do you mean they’ve sealed Clockwork away?! 

  The already traumatized Time Primordial who was in this type of area specifically to care for ghostlings, and was now being prevented?! How long has this been going on- No! He’s fixing his realms-damned kingdom before he even thinks about conquering other ones, because who the fuck let it get this bad!

   Pspsps, here little sick ghostlings, he’s trying very hard not to hurt you but you are very tiny and he has been locked away for a long time so please stop squirming…

what about some sort of buddy cop, same age, enemies to lovers au where obi-wan is a jedi and anakin is a coruscanti detective and they literally hate each other and have no respect for the other (obi-wan thinks anakin is a waste of the coruscant budget and a jedi wannabe; anakin thinks obi-wan is a pretentious space monk asshole)

(anakin has personally arrested obi-wan for speeding three times, drinking in public spaces 4 times -- the public space was a bar btw -- and indecent public exposure once. that last one was, tbh, fair cause obi-wan had his dick out in an alley way lol)

(obi-wan has literally stalked this asshole coruscanti cop off planet before and arrested him in his capacity as Jedi Knight for not using his turn signal when changing hyperspace lanes (once), for podracing betting (3 times), and for possession of a galacticly banned substance (twice))

it's not that they're obsessed with each other, it's just that something keeps forcing them together in the wildest, most unpredictable situations, and it's annoying as hell because they're completely fed up with each other

then the senate moves to have a new task force stood up to solve a series of Force-related crimes in the Coruscanti underworld. the task force would include a representative from the Jedi Temple and one from the Coruscanti guards, obviously. and really, obi-wan and anakin are the perfect choices! they're both highly intelligent, dedicated, trustworthy, and incorruptible.

if only they'd stop trying to push each other off the 51st story of coruscant and actually put their heads together to solve the crime

There's a lot with the Heroes in particular I need to catch up / refresh on (as is I have one lv.60 phantom and haven't played the rest either since ~10yrs ago or ever, in eunwol and revamped Aran's case) before I can decisively head canon some things but.

It genuinely knocks me to the floor how... much, Phantom is. Like he creates this impression of a verging-on-sadistic aloof, precise theatrical showman and that's not, precisely a lie, but then you get like...

He forgets where he puts things or why he even stole something. He's annoyed that people didn't TRY to break into his vaults. He's so bad at being rich that his employees who he hired with his vast resource pool have to remind him that he has money. Said employees despite his heroic reputation seem to exclusively consist of people willing to bully and contradict him to his face.

He's a french-speaking middle eastern man in a context where you have to ask where the fantasy france analogue is that would presumably have this cultural exchange with Ariant. He insists he doesn't miss Raven when corvid motifs adorn literally anything he owns and nobody even questioned him about it, he is just talking to himself in a sealed vault. He also never stops talking. He will die if you stop paying attention to him. He bluffed an endgame boss at level 10 by using practical effects.

Man really feels like someone tried as hard as they could to turn Peter Parker into Bruce Wayne and only succeeded on the outermost level.
