Taking place in a dystopian climate crisis-ravaged future, Petrol Head speeds in with a beautiful and bombastic first issue! Humans are confined to living in a handful of domed cities and kept occupied and pacified by whatever extreme sport the City Planners can come up with.

The eponymous robot Petrol Head is a relic of one such sport: extreme robot death racing! Now kicked to the curb and on the wrong side of the law, Petrol Head, his robo-bird companion Dave, a scientist with a ground-breaking discovery that could change the future, and his (secret genius?) daughter seem to be on the starting line for a post-apocalyptic road trip fit for any fan of robo-dystopian action.
