this was one of the first albums i discovered for myself. it's been a while since I've listened to it, and tis the season for blasting company. the songs are all still so fun and singable, they sit in my voice in a very comfortable way

Yesterday I was at a small museum and they had replicas of shark teeth and jaws you could touch, and this one man there with his kids casually put one of the replica shark jaws on his head. It was a relatively small species (idk remember the name) and it fit easily on his head.

when some people make whimsical story-based oompah music it slaps (petrojvic blasting company, cosmo sheldrake, vagabond opera) and then when other bands do effectively the same thing it just feels cheesy and affected (charming disaster, fish in a birdcage, jane austen argument). very frustrating.
