"You'd have to get a new wardrobe to fit the hipster aesthetic, maybe start riding a bike everywhere." He couldn't help laughing at the mental image of Nettie dressed as a hipster wheeling a bike behind the counter of a record shop. Peter took the mug when he held it out to him, talking a sip maybe to soon when he asked what it was he wanted to talk about. He wasn't exactly worried though, he was sure his tongue would be fine within an hour if that.
"Just uh..." He was wishing now he'd thought more about what he was going to say on the way here. "Well first I didn't...when you mentioned beshert when we were talking that one time I didn't know then what it meant and I do now but I don't know that it means what I...hope it does."
He was fidgeting with his mug as he talked, stunning the handle from one hand to the other and back again. "I've tried talking to you about it a few times and you've always seemed to think I wasn't serious or joking."
spideystark:
Peter could understand that, if they were worried for their kids safety it probably wouldn’t be as simple as claiming an emergency took him out of town or some other excuse. But still-he hoped that Nettie was able to get his slots filled again soon, and he was glad that he’d paid ahead so far when he helped him the month he was short.
“Well you can probably find something that’ll pay more then, maybe there’s a music store looking for someone.” He trailed a bit behind Nettie as he went to get the apple cider, he knew he didn’t like asking for help but he hoped that if he needed it he would. “Well I wanted to talk to you about something, I was going to wait until everything was done being wrapped up with what happened but I was talking to-it doesn’t really matter who but they pointed out that I’ve been putting off talking to you about it for…awhile.”
“Ugh, I can be a hipster guy in a record store.” Nettie smiled wickedly at Peter as he reached to take the cider out of the microwave. He gave it a stir, and put it back in for another thirty seconds to take care of the cold pockets. “Imagine me behind the desk and pretending to be super cool.”
He pulled it back out as it beeped and handed it over to Peter. He assumed his friend would be smart enough to “blow” and know “its hot.” so he didn’t say so. “Sure. What did you want to talk about?”
#unpaidpiper#c; peter stark: v; heroes & villains#t; peter & nettie#Peter: has an IQ of 250#Also Peter: burns his mouth drinking apple cider because he's being awkward.

“The Scarlet Thread,” Point One (Vol. 1/2012), #1.
Writer: Christopher Yost; Penciler: Ryan Stegman; Inker: Michael Babinsky; Colorist: Marte Garcia; Letterer: Joe Caramagna
#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 616#Point One#Scarlet Spider#Kaine#Kaine Parker#RIP Kaine’s precog flashes hahaha I guess they were just too OP for a character headlining his own series#also and this is a point that anyone is free to disagree with me on#but personally I always think that since Kaine IS technically a duplicate of Peter he has Peter’s genius intellect#(which I think is listed in ASM 588 as being an IQ somewhere north of 250 but don’t quote me on that hahaha)#Kaine has just fashioned himself into…much more of a hammer compared to Peter’s laser cutter:#more apt to use brute-force and less technologically inclined#I’m pretty sure it was even during Spider-Man: Redemption that Kaine mentioned that he has Peter’s chemistry know-how#(but he very well could have just been messing with Ben in that case)

Can you analyze how smart is MCU Peter? I'm writing a fanfic and it'd be helpful. Thank you!
MCU Peter possesses a genius-level intellect.
They haven’t really released his IQ level yet but until then, we’re going to use the one according to the Scientist Supreme: Peter has an IQ of over 250.
He has aptitudes in chemistry, physics, and engineering. He’s the most intelligent member of the decathlon team of his school and the strongest asset in physics.
Peter created his own synthetic webbing;
To do this, Peter needs to know peculiarities about gravitational force, get the right kinematic equations to measure the launch speed of the webbing, the density inside the shooter, understand the momentum principle, instinctive knowledge of different chemicals, synthetics, protein filaments, thermoplastic polymers, and exotic plastics.
And for the web-shooter? Let’s not forget this kid not only created the mechanism himself but he also upgraded a Stark tech web-shooter on his own. This requires a vast level of engineering skills.
Peter is well-versed in the multiverse theory;
I'm sorry, you're saying there's a multiverse? 'Cause I thought that was just theoretical. That completely changes how we understand the initial singularity. We're talking about an internal inflation system and how does that even work with all the quantum--?
To understand this, Peter needs to know the fundamental theories around quantum physics, the physical constants determined by the laws of physics, details about the speed of light, aspects about the mathematical branch of measure theory, the strength of gravity, the inflationary phase of the universe's expansion, and the different initial conditions that go around the nature of existence.
Engineering. Peter has become an expert when it comes to creating new technology. He likes working and building computers. As I mentioned before, he created his own web-shooters. He’s also capable of managing himself all of Tony’s previous devices and designs to create a suit using Stark technology. Peter also deduced the composition of Sam’s wings as carbon fiber-based by concluding the rigidity and flexibility of the mechanism. He’s also proficient in handling and commanding artificial intelligence, given that Tony entrusted him with EDITH; an augmented reality tactical intelligence system.
Multilingualism. Peter can speak some Spanish and knows Italian.
Peter is also capable of coming up with clever strategies due to his scientific expertise and intellect.
He made his own Stark-tech suit. He refortified the materials used in the suit synthesis to the point of protecting Peter from the drones' magnetic and high sonic pulse cannons. He fabricated the arms integrated web-shooters and created a manual activation of the taser webs, making the strength increase by 25%.
I think it’s safe to say the kid is a genius. Whoever questions his intellect or thinks he’s dumb thanks to Tony’s input in his life just doesn't want to see how smart he is.
Thank you♥

Okay! Been meaning to write this for a long ass time and finally took the time to do it. First of all, thank you for reading and showing interest in my bug! My Peter is based on many sources. I am usually open to adjusting Peter for any source material - apart from maybe cartoon series, but I am familiar with this. Though he is also very headcanon based
Things that are worth remembering and will likely not change between verses. Peter is brilliant; he has an IQ over 250, which leaves him completely capable of making his own tech. My main MCU verses are post nwh, or he is 616 Peter from another universe - which means he does not have access to anything Tony Stark made him.
My Peter is not in high school.
The primary age I play Peter is anywhere between 25-38 years. Occasionally older for comic canon children of spider-man. This being said, he is no longer a bumbling kid trying to learn how to be a hero. Instead, he is a seasoned superhero that has been beaten, broken, and suffered loss a thousand times. Yet he is still going- after starting at fifteen years old.
This has taken a toll on his mind and body. Peter's body is covered in scars from numerous battles over the years - each one with a horrible story attached to it. Peter hides many mental trials with quick wit and jokes, but he suffers them every day. Chronic Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Panic Disorder.
He also suffers from cigarette and alcohol addictions, but he plays these two close to the vest, so do not assume you are aware of this without prior discussion.

when peter was around fifteen years old, he was bitten by a spider than gave him superhuman powers. he hid this for as long as he could before being recruited by tony stark. after fighting along side the avengers, he became an avenger himself.
peter was one of the many to be snapped away by thanos. since his return, he’s been following in his role model’s footsteps. he wants to prove himself as an avenger, and he’ll stop at nothing to make himself as close to perfect as he can be.
to make it easier- everything from civil war to far from home is canon! (minus the ship with MJ <3 )

CHARACTER CHEAT SHEET: PETER PARKER / SPIDER-MAN
Peter Parker’s abilities, traits, and history can be complicated, so I gathered up all I know from comics and all the website I’ve visited in my life, revisited them, and put them together. I hope that the Marvel fanfictions writers will find this useful, especially that more and more Spider-Man fanfics are written nowadays.
[fun fact about the hyphen between ‘Spider’ and ‘Man’ - the creators of the character used it to differ Spider-Man from Superman.]
Full name: Peter Benjamin Parker
Spider-Man aliases: Spidey, Webhead, Webs, Web-Slinger, Wallcrawler/ Wall-crawler
Date of birth: - comics: Peter is a Libra, making his birthday sometime between September 23rd and October 22nd. - MCU: August 10th, 2001
Characteristics: - gender: male - current height (age 28): 5' 10" / teenage years height: 5' 5" - current weight (age 28): 167 lbs (76 kg) / teenage years weight: 140 lbs (64 kg) - eyes: hazel - hair: brown
Family: - Richard Parker, Mary Parker (parents, killed in a plane crash, spies) - Benjamin Parker (uncle, killed by a thief) - May Parker (aunt); (- Teresa Parker (sister) ) (- William Fitzpatrick (maternal grandfather, killed) )
Address: - grew up on: 20 Ingram Street, Forest Hills, Queens - currently living in: Queens
Core personality traits: - loner - neurotic (anxiety, fear, jealously, loneliness, worry, envy, frustration) - funny and witty, yet respectful (uses humor as defense/coping mechanism and to distract an opponent) - strong willed, brave - nerdy/geeky - shy, socially awkward - caring, loyal, kind, trusting, considerate - always worried, cautious, hopeful
Intelligence: - he graduated Midtown high with the highest scholastic average in the school's history - Octavius stated that Peter's “smarter than all of them” - Peter’s more intelligent than anyone he knows and he doesn't understand why Peter doesn't use all of his intellect - Peter's IQ is 250, making his position in the Highest IQ Ranks of Marvel characters in the top 5 (it's a made up universe, ok)
Equipment:
Costume: - in the early days after the spider bite when peter was making money via wrestling, peter made a costume because a TV producer told him it would sell as an act along with the wrestling - he created a mask to avoid the embarrassment if he lost a match, later it served him to protect his identity and hide his fear during fights
Utility Belt: - a utility belt holding extra clips of webbing (later: Spider-Tracers, Spider-Signal), placed on his waist under the suit (- recently upgraded to hold cartridges of different types of webbing, freeze capsules, new Spider-Tracers as well as a newly upgraded Spider-Signal that has a UV light setting for forensic analysis.) (- in the MCU, the belt was changed into clips on the hip height of the suit)
Web-shooters: - he first created the web-shooters so they can give him the advantage over pro-wrestlers - they're made of materials that don't trip metal detector alarms (the material changes as the comics go, it's plastic, carbon fiber, and so on) - they're pressure sensitive - work only when peter taps on them twice very quickly with his middle and ring finger. the pressure, though, is really big, given the super strength. in that way, the web-shooters don't go off in a fight or when he shakes someone's hand. it also means that an average human wouldn't be able to use them, given that they need a certain degree of pressure put on the trigger. - over the years Peter's learned to use the web-shooters in more ways than just shooting single strings - he can make a parachute, web up a cast for a broken arm, a shield, and more and more variations he needs at the moment - from marvel.com: “the webbing [is a shear-thinning liquid (virtually solid until a shearing force is applied to it, rendering it fluid) whose exact formula is as yet unknown, but is related to nylon. On contact with air, the long-chain polymer knits and forms an extremely tough, flexible fiber with extraordinary adhesive properties. The web fluid's adhesive quality diminishes rapidly with exposure to air. (Where it does not make contact with air, such as the attachment disk of the web-shooter, it remains very adhesive.) After about one to two hours, certain imbibed esters cause the solid form of the web fluid to dissolve into a powder. Because the fluid almost instantly sublimates from solid to liquid when under shear pressure, and is not adhesive in its anaerobic liquid/solid phase transition point, there is no clogging of the web-shooter's parts."
Superpowers:
[fun fact no2: he's holding back in every fight and on daily basis - both in the intellect and physical departments.]
Mutations: - he's got harder bones and tougher skin, hard for a syringe to pin through - his organs' tissue is most probably stronger to not get squashed under the pressure of impact forces (such as g-forces while he's swinging)
Strength: - he can bench press up to 10 tons but it was stated that it’s the average strength he uses - he's holding back a lot (supporting the weight of the Daily Bugle building, landing a private jet with a landing weight between 175,000-215,000 pounds, breaking through Iron Man's armor, even breaking through eight of Doctor Octopus' carbonadium tentacles, lifting a large pile of iron-debris equivalent to the weight of a locomotive approximately 130 tons) - he can jump to a height of several stories in a single bound - he’s strong enough to knock out people with normal durability with as little as a tap to the head - he can throw a human sized and weight object across, like, New York
Speed, agility, reflexes: - his perfect sense of balance is complemented by the generally elastic nature of his body - he can adjust his position by instinct, which enables him to balance himself on virtually any object - he can outrun moving cars - according to the comics, he can run 70-115mph - it was stated that he can go around 120 mph when swinging the fastest he can - he's agile and quick enough that in a combat fight the foe can only see a blur, dodging attacks and bullets the second they’re put in motion - according to the official bios, his heightened reflexes are about 40 times better than the ones of an average human (with the help of spider-sense, he can dodge a bullet before it’s even shot)
Spider-sense: ( a form of unconscious precognition / extra-sensory perception tuned to danger or threats that might cause him physical or mental injury) - it can make Peter feel off when his loved ones are in danger - it can differ a loved one/a very close friend and a foe (best example: Aunt May once sneaked up on Spider-Man and smashed a vase on his head) - it can help Peter navigate in the dark - it’s a bit off and overwhelmed and Peter doesn’t react to it right when he’s very tired or distracted or when there's too much danger around (like in a big fights with many opponents and weapons) - when it goes off and “buzzes” without imminent and instant danger, Peter may think it’s just gone a bit bonkers, therefore he doesn’t react it much. - it helps with instinctive shooting webs at places that won’t crumble under Peter’s weight - it reduces stuff like the need to look sideways when crossing the street or the need to cover up 100% when Peter changes in an alleyway - Peter was banned from playing poker with F4 because the spider-sense helps him detect when someone is bluffing - sometimes it takes control over peter when there has to be less thinking and more reacting done in a fight - it can hurt peter when it's triggered hard enough
Healing factor: - he can heal from bullet wounds, concussions, broken or sprained bones, and third-degree burns in a matter of days - his body produces less fatigue toxins than ordinary humans which allows him to exert himself for days - he can go a couple of days with no sleep; - he's got a weirdly high tolerance to radiation - he can hold his breath for eight minutes or more
Metabolism: - he’s got a bottomless belly - high metabolism means he needs more food to function, but then again he can go without food because of the healing factor - he can even shrug off some toxins - the toxin resistance makes it harder for someone to knock him out with toxins (such as drugs, for example)
Enhanced senses: - he’s got enhanced sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste - they can be as much of help as of a nightmare. each of his senses was enhanced which means he can hear his neighbors as they roll over in their bed, but going to a concert isn't that fun
Wall-crawling: - according to Spider-Man Vol 1 #26 it’s a mutagenic, cerebellum-wide alteration of his engrams resulting in the ability to mentally control the flux of inter-atomic attraction (electrostatic force) between molecular boundary layers - which basically means electrostatic attraction between Peter’s skin and a solid surface - it’s mentally controlled
Quotes/mottos:
“That's not why you do it. You do it 'cause it's the right thing to do. [...] Now it's my turn. [...] I'm going to give it my all. [...] I'll never quit.”
“With great there must also come great responsibility.”
“Life sucks sometimes... but it's always worth living.“
“Everyone can be saved.”
Other:
- the Spider-Man mask supposedly muffles and changes Peter’s voice enough to be unrecognizable - Peter’s a NY Mets fan - Peter’s witty personality works on every hero’s nerve except for Deadpool (Wolverine one stated that being in company of one of these two is a nightmare, and being in company of both of them is one of the worst things he’s gone through) and Tony - the adhesive skin allows Peter’s mask to stick to his face in case someone tried to pull the mask off - he’s a skilled photographer.

tony and nat going to get married with 20." You look amazing tonight.”
Hope this one's good for you! 😊
*****
If there exists a list of "People Who Bust Myths and Do Not Follow Traditions", definitely, Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff would be in there.
While they were in the preparation stage of their wedding, the Avengers power couple visited Clint and Laura's farm home and they oriented them on the do's and don'ts for and on the big day.
"You two should eat before the ceremony. I swear, you wouldn't be able to eat anymore when the event starts. You will feel hunger, but trust me, with everything that's goin on and with all your guests to accommodate, you will end up starving at the end of the day," Laura started, speaking from experience, while they were seated across each other on the couches at the living room.
The genius billionnaire grinned. "I can eat even during the ceremony and no one's gonna stop me."
"But that's inappropriate, Stark," said Clint.
"Inappropriate is my middle name." Tony quipped.
"Tony..."
He put an arm over Natasha's shoulder and smiled at her. "I'm kidding. Loosen up, darling."
"I don't think we'll be too occupied with guests. There are just, I think, 50 of you in the guest list," the redhead spy responded.
"Yeah. Those are 50 of the closest people to both of you whom you cannot just shove away. Those 50 are equal to like 250 friends and acquiantances you need to accommodate," Laura explained.
"Really?"
"Yes, Nat."
The soon-to-be husband and wife looked at each other and shrugged simultaneously.
"Also, wear comfortable shoes. I don't need to elaborate on that, but for your sake, please do," Clint added.
"That's understandable." Tony replied.
"Honeymoon on first night? Not true. You'll be too tired for that," Laura shook her head. "This is validated by my other married friends, too."
Clint chuckled. "It usually happened on the second night onwards."
"Try us. I know my priorities, it can even happen before the wedding day." Tony smirked but his lovely fiancee elbowed his side quite hard.
"Aw!" he winced in pain.
Natasha rolled her eyes.
Her bestfriend and his wife were the ones who glanced knowingly at each other this time.
"Is there anything else?" The bride-to-be inquired.
"Oh. You are not allowed to see each other a day before your wedding day."
"That's..." Tony was about to say 'easy' but he thought again. He knew his EQ is not as high as his IQ. "Why?"
"It's Natasha's day to pamper herself, plus it's tradition. You gotta hold off seeing each other until the moment she walks down the aisle. That's the surprise factor."
"Doesn't make sense to me but, yeah, I'll take it for the me-time purpose," Natasha commented bluntly.
Tony just had to agree. "Sure," he anwered as he gently grabbed her hand and played with her engagement ring again.
*****
To: Tash
Hey sweetheart. In your room.
Natasha discreetly typed a reply.
To: Tony
Ok. Be there in a few.
It was the night before their wedding and she was in Wanda and Sharon's room where the ladies prepared a bridal shower for her. Maria, May and Laura were also there. Tony had his bachelor's party the previous night because he, of all the guys in their circle, has the tendency to get so drunk that he might not be able to wake up in time for the ceremony scheduled at 11:00am. Her party was way safer - no alcohol, just champagne, mocktails and sweets.
Minutes later, they wrapped up and already said goodbye. Maria and May shared room on the same floor, while Laura still has to go down to the room with Clint and their kids, all in Natasha's hotel.
Tony and the rest of the guys stayed in another hotel to, hopefully, follow the tradition. Except that the couple who are about to get married in the morning love breaking rules.
When Natasha got into her suite, her fiance was sitting comfortably on her bed, legs crossed, watching the nightly news.
"Hi, gorgeous." She slid to his side and he snuggled closer to her.
"I missed you," Tony planted a kiss on her lips. "Those Avengers were really making it a mission to separate us today."
"Yeah. Even the ladies here. How'd you sneak out?"
"I have my ways, with the help of a Spiderling who cannot say no to me."
"Brilliant." Natasha pulled his head down for another kiss.
Her husband-to-be gazed over her body in a red, skin-tight dress. She still wore the flower crown and the sash that has 'Mrs. Romanoff-Stark' written; both were made by May.
"You look amazing tonight... I bet you'll look more awesome tomorrow in your wedding gown."
"Don't flatter me Mr. Stark. You already have me."
"Can't stop and won't stop, beautiful." Tony cupped her face with a hand. Both of them now oblivious of the world around them. "God, I'm so lucky..."
Her eyes shone with emotions for this man. "Love you, Antoshka."
"I love you too, sweetheart."
Tony started removing her flower crown and sash and she just let him as she smiled widely.
Buzzer and knocks on her door made them separate again.
"Natasha?" It was Laura's voice.
"Tony, are you in there?" That one was Clint.
Sighing, both of them walked to see the intruders.
"Hey guys," Natasha opened the door and Tony stood behind her, hands on either side of her waist.
Aside from the Bartons, Steve, Sam, Rhodey, Maria, Sharon and Wanda were there.
"Are you all really up to follow this tradition?" Tony's eyebrows furrowed. The two of them were more surprised than annoyed with their friends' beliefs.
Instead of answering them, the group started to talk to each other like crossfire. There were a lot of blaming, bet collection and i-told-you-so exchanged.
"I told you, Tony can't keep up," Laura smirked to Clint.
"Stark, I had faith in you! It's just one day, for heaven's sake!" Clint glared at Tony.
"Wait. So you mean you guys made a bet about this night?" Natasha figured out.
It was Steve who replied. "Yeah. It wasn't about myths and tradition at all. They had bets if you two can stay apart the day before your wedding."
"Enough of this," Rhodey, in his mother hen tone, stepped in. "Tony, you come with us. It's getting late and you need to be up early tomorrow. Get those hands off Nat."
"Right, man. Let's go. You gonna see each other tomorrow anyway." Sam added.
The pack started dispersing until Steve was the only one left to wait for him.
"Where's Peter, Cap?" Tony asked.
"Must be hiding in Thor and Bruce's room. Rhodes knew he helped you escape."
Natasha chuckled and kissed his cheek before gently pushing him out. "Go now and save your son."
"Don't forget that he's now your son, too." He winked at her before walking side by side with their resident Captain to the elevators.

ANYONE GONNA TELL ME PETER PARKER IS ONE OF THE SMARTEST PEOPLE ON EARTH? AND THAT THEY NAMED "a force of energy tied into the continuous expansion of the universe that offers greater power than the Phoenix Force" PARKER PARTICLES BC HE'S THAT FUCKING SMART? ANYONE GONNA TELL ME PETER PARKER HAS AN IQ
Honestly this is pretty normal knowledge if you read a lot of Spiderman comics. Peter created pretty much every suit and gadget himself from scratch. You know how in the MCU Tony gave him a new suit? In the comics practically every new suit Peter ever used was one of his own design.
Reed discovered the Parker Particles first but he kept the knowledge of them a secret and then Peter discovered them. This isn’t me dumbing down his IQ this is me saying “Peter was the only other person to discover this thing after Reed, whose an actual super-genius”
His canon IQ is stated to be “north of 250″ if you want an actual number

Peter Parker has an IQ of at least 250
There I said it

My personal sense about Peter/Spider-Man is that he's fated to be one of those great geniuses who are underappreciated or ahead-of-his-time but deprecated in his. Like his posthumous scientific papers would rock the world and so on, the Tesla to Stark's Edison, because of his ethics and responsibility. And in any case, in Spider-Man itself, Mary Jane is more of a winning case of someone moving out of the working-classes, and when was the last time you had female working-class heroes?
That has been a thing with Peter Parker, who has an IQ of 250 - at a level with Reed Richards - but who can’t capitalize on it because of his secret identity.
Mary Jane...depends on what part of her career we’re talking about.
In terms of working-class superheroines: Storm, Dazzler maybe?, Jubilee after she was oprhaned, Madelyn Pryor becomes a supervillain but starts out as a mundane hero, Amanda Sefton/Daytripper, Rogue, Rachel Grey, Rahne Wolfsbane, Dani Moonstar, Magik, Paige Guthrie, maybe the Stepford Cuckoos?...basically, a lot of X-women.

Peter Parker // Spider-Man
Age: 14 - 40 (Verse dependent, this is mainly written with a college-aged Peter in mind) Aliases: Spider-Man, Puny Parker, Penis Parker, Petey, Spidey, Webhead, Web-Slinger, Wallcrawler, Wall-crawler, The Amazing Bag-Man, The Bombastic Bag-Man, Ricochet, Scarlet Spider, Iron Spider, Man-Spider, Professor S, Spider-Boy, Spiderling, Peter Palmer, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Date of Birth: August 10 Species: Homo Sapien Mutate (Radioactively-induced via irradiated spider-bite and genetic factors) Universe of Origin: Earth-14320
Universe Inspiration: Composite, with strong inspiration from PS4 Spider-Man
Appearance Peter Parker is a young man of average height, if anything measuring on the short size. This is emphasized outside of costume by intentionally slouching, and making sure that he doesn’t stand fully, to create a greater dichotomy between his civilian and heroic identities. He has light brown hair, usually worn very short to influence the shape of his mask very little, as when it’s allowed to grow too long it almost gives Spider-Man the appearance of a round head, indicating a number of things which could also give up his secret.
While as a teenager, Peter was considered gawky and unattractive by other students, he would eventually grow to be fairly handsome, eschewing the thick-rimmed glasses that once helped define his look, and identify the young man as a target for bullying. As well, he now carries himself, as an adult, with a more confident swagger that brings attention to his athletic physique. However, thanks to the magic of button-up shirts, ties, and baggy slacks, it’s not apparent that he’s so built that he might come under suspicion as Spider-Man.
When disguised in his Spider-Man costume, Peter often wears a one-piece jumpsuit that completely covers his body, with a few different designs, almost all of them featuring a separate mask. Certain costumes will also have detached gloves and boots that he has to wear separately. Depending on the version of the costume, the suit will feature varrying patterns of red and blue across it, with the most consistent being red through the abdomen, chest, and shoulders, neck, and mask, with red running along the legs and boots to varying degrees, with blue filling whatever remained. In almost every version of the costume, the mask has large white lenses with black edging, featuring a web pattern, and spider insignia in the chest. These webs and lenses come in a variety of materials that vary between costumes, between being fabric, or more textured and rigid materials.
Some costumes designed for specific purposes, or made to accompany some significant change in Peter’s character may have drastically different designs from his primary costumes, and serve as a visual representation of that change.
Personality Responsibility is the word by which Peter lives his life. He grew up in a household that placed great emphasis on it, but not much more than any other in America. But it was through a series of significant events, beginning with the fateful spider bite which would give him super powers, and the death of his uncle that he had inadvertently caused due to inaction. This sense of responsibility drives Peter to be both a hero and a good man. His responsibility also tends to saddle Parker with far more guilt than he’s due, often taking credit for the shortcomings of others, that still result in issues that he would claim blame on. An example of this is when The Sinister Six escaped a super-max prison, he felt that it was his duty to bring them back in, as they’re members of his rogue’s gallery, making it necessary for him to capture them.
Peter is known to engage in acts of self-sacrifice, understanding that being a hero requires him to put others before himself. Leaping head-first into deadly situations, the wallcrawler never hesitates to put his life on the line for another. This has often thrust both parties into worse situations, just as frequently as it’s allowed him to solidify himself as a true hero.
As a teenager, Peter was a well-documented wallflower, not having an easy time socializing with others his own age, and often remaining quiet and reserved, preferring to remain diligent in his studies than go out partying. While not completely unable to make friends, Peter had a very difficult time making more than a core few, particularly without his heroic identity to help. This wouldn’t improve particularly until his college years, in which Peter was able to break out of his shell and make friends with others, particularly with his former bully Flash Thompson. It was through this that Peter not only learned how to become more open and sociable, but how to forgive others, and see them for their true character, and not the wrongs that they had done to him.
Possessed of a natural intelligence and wit, Peter had measured at an IQ of above 250 during adolescence, with future tests indicating his scores matched Reed Richards at the same age. This served to isolate him from his peers largely, even while attending a high school with prestigious programs for science and academics, as it set him apart, causing others to isolate him for coming off as a stuck-up jerk. In hindsight, Peter believes that he might have been just this. As an adult, however, he often uses his intelligence as an asset, serving to enhance his heroic career at any opportunity that presents itself.
Prone to fits of self-doubt and neurosis, Peter constantly second-guesses himself and his decisions. This plagues him as Spider-Man too, as not every decision he makes is the best for the situation, although many of these situations are time sensitive and stressful. Reaching a intersection with his sense of responsibility, Peter will often dwell for far too long on heat of the moment decisions that didn’t play out for the best.
Peter has a gift for sarcasm and wordplay, often relying on it to distract himself from the high-stress nature of his heroics. This often makes him come off, as Spider-Man, as a quipping annoyance, who’d rather make jokes than engage in the task at-hand. Many other heroes find him difficult to work with as a result, and most villains will often stumble off of a cliff of frustration due to his taunts.
Biography Peter Parker was born in Queens, New York, to Richard and Mary Parker. Having a loving home-life, Peter was a happy child, who from an early age displayed an aptitude for problem solving and pattern recognition. As well, though, Peter’s vision was determined to be very poor at the age of two, and he was forced to wear glasses in order to see properly.
Peter’s parents would die while on a commercial flight, which had been sabotaged by Red Skull, who had discovered the two were government agents meant to infiltrate Hydra. The plane was made to appear to be sabotaged by the Parkers, branding them as traitors to the USA.
Following this, he would be raised by his legal guardians, May Reilly-Parker and Benjamin Parker, Peter’s father’s older brother, and his wife.
While still young, Parker didn’t understand that his situation was particularly unusual, until he first enrolled in school, and saw other kids arriving with their biological parents, whilst he had been brought by people who looked a more appropriate age to be his grandparents.
Coupled with a shy nature, this caused Peter to withdraw socially, not making many friends throughout his elementary years. Conversely, though, Peter would instead find himself enjoying science fiction and fantasy novels, periodicals on physics and biology, as well as video games. Ben and May would encourage this while the boy grew up, even encouraging more creative hobbies, such as when Uncle Ben gave his nephew a Polaroid camera to take pictures. While this hobby would become more of a secondary interest for Peter, the young man would throw himself into his studies and other hobbies.
This shyness and interest in scholastics would often cause Peter to be targeted by bullies, but it would also afford him several friends with whom he shared one or more of these interests, such as Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborne, and Ned Leeds.
With this small group of friends, Peter was easily able to obtain a scholarship to the Midtown High School of Science and Technology, a prestigious high school that placed an emphasis on both academics and athletics. It was while attending here that Peter would meet several other mainstays of his life, including Eugene “Flash” Thompson, his high school bully and later college friend, Liz Allan, Peter’s first crush and Flash’s girlfriend, Cindy Moon, another intelligent but more popular student who would be bitten by the same spider as Peter, Jessica Jones, eventual hero and avenger, and others. Peter’s time at Midtown weren’t his best years, still largely keeping to his small clique and getting bullied and harassed by classmates for his shyness.
On weekends, Peter would often participate in Academic Decathlon, or attend different science expos and exhibits. Due to his being not particularly rich, athletic, or outgoing, Peter struggled, causing his aunt and uncle to frequently express concern for him and his social life. Peter, however, didn’t wish for either of them to be concerned, and would often pretend to be more popular than he was, despite May and Ben knowing this to not be the case.
One day, while on a guided tour through Oscorp., a company owned by his friend Harry’s father, Peter would accidentally be exposed to an experimental spider. This spider was not only bred to possess the attributes of many different species of spider, with the body and physiology of a common house spider, irradiated with experimental particle acceleration, in an attempt to create a new super soldier serum. This spider managed to escape its holding container, and managed to find its way onto Peter. Biting his hand, the venom of the spider circulated into Peter’s blood, mutating his anatomy at the molecular level. While initially, this only resulted in extreme pain and swelling, Peter was unable to find the spider that bit him, which allowed the spider time to find Cindy Moon, a schoolmate of Peter’s also attending the tour at her mother’s demand, and bit her ankle.
The mutation would take effect rapidly, causing Peter to develop an enhanced physicality within hours of the bite, and his spider sense as well, allowing the teen to avoid being struck by a car while walking home. These changes would come on over the next several days, until Peter was performing death-defying feats of strength and agility at the age of 14, despite never having been able to throw a ball properly before.
Other forces were at work, though, as not only would the spider’s scientific nature specifically impact Peter, but a sort of multiversal theme linked to the nature of life itself, acting through the spider itself to imbue Peter and Cindy with their powers. This status named him a totem to the spider gods, which could only be measured, scientifically, as a genetic factor. This would link Peter to nearly every other Peter Parker in the wider multiverse, as well as other being similarly marked as “totems”.
Peter would keep this secret from his aunt and uncle, trying his best to cope with these changes, telling nobody, even those close to him what he’d been up to. It was through these changes that Peter would eventually get the idea to make himself a spectacle, to make money with which he could buy a car, and take girls on dates. After all, he couldn’t use his powers to participate in athletics, it wouldn’t be fair as these new abilities weren’t something he had before, and with his existing status as an unpopular he couldn’t believably become a social butterfly without questions being asked. So money, at least to impress with a car and the like, was Peter’s ultimate idea for initiating a rise in popularity.
Taking up an ad that said if he could last for three minutes in a wrestling ring with pro champion Crusher Hogan there was a cash prize. Peter would design a costume from several Halloween scraps and a morphsuit, as well as special goggles which allowed Peter to have an easier time regulating his sensory intake, due to the spider sense causing a visual and audio overload at times.
While fighting Crusher Hogan, Peter discovered he could also stick to walls, doing so with the bars of the cage that they battled in, before handling the man in less than a minute. This would result in Peter being paid less than a third of what he’d been promised, causing him to become indifferent as Hogan’s promoter was robbed at gunpoint. Allowing the robber, Flint Marko (William Baker), to escape without incident, the man would later on mug Ben Parker. Uncle Ben would be shot by mistake, dying before Peter had been able to say goodbye to the only thing like a father he’d ever had.
Driven into a blind rage, Parker would chase down Marko, and brutalize him nearly to death, before recognizing the man as the one he’d allowed to escape.
This would strike Peter with a deep remorse, as the one to truly blame for Uncle Ben’s death was himself. He’d failed his uncle, and left his aunt a widow. Peter was thrown into a deep depression after this, seeming to withdraw from nearly all extracurricular activities, and beginning to fail in school, while May struggled with finances, due to Ben having been the primary income between them.
In reality, Peter had begun to work on a new costume, using the money from the fight with Crusher to make a higher-quality design. Beating on rapists, drug dealers, and gang-bangers, Peter would call himself Spider-Man as he would conduct illegal arrests on these people, taking the name from his ability to adhere to walls, and the spider which he’d determined to be the source of his mutation.
With time, life would stabilize again for the Parkers, as during Sophomore year Peter began to better balance his heroic hobby with other factors of his life, and his aunt had managed to get a job managing in the private sector. As Peter’s exploits began to be caught on YouTube, as he would intervene in car and bus crashes, as well as rescue anyone he believed to be in danger, the young man considered becoming a superhero, to help Aunt May with the bills.
Initially attempting to join the Fantastic Four, he was turned away due to being too young, not a member of their family, and attempting to audition by instigating a fight with them. As well, he was told, that superheroes didn’t work for pay, they did it for what was right.
Eventually, the actions of Spider-Man as a vigilante would gain more mainstream coverage, with The Daily Bugle beginning to report on his exploits. However, due to Peter brazenly refusing an interview to a reporter, as they didn’t mean to pay him for it, the editor, J. Jonah Jameson, would instead push against it. Leading a campaign against Spider-Man, Jameson demanded law enforcement treat him as a criminal, no better than those he assaulted.
With this campaign, photos of Spider-Man would come into high demand, and Peter was in the best position to supply these. After answering ads from news outlets for these photos, Jameson was willing to pay more than his competitors for exclusive rights to the snapshots that Peter provided.
During the latter half of his Sophomore year Spider-Man would do battle with his first super villain. Vulture, an engineer who had developed a power-suit to allow himself to fly, and conduct high-danger heists. Peter would intervene upon seeing one of these, devising specialized web-shooters and a fluid to develop web so that he could keep up with the high-flying foe. It was through several encounters and an extended monologue that Peter discovered Vulture had been disenfranchised by his own friend, and stolen from by a former business partner, whom he had been acting against.
Ultimately, though, Peter was forced by his sense of responsibility to defeat Vulture, and put the criminal away. And so would start the heroic saga of Spider-Man.
(The rest will be established through roleplaying and headcanons because writing a 16 year bio of Peter would be an undertaking)
Abilities and Skills -Genius-Level Intelligence: Peter Parker is one of the most intelligent human beings on earth, without any superhuman enhancements to his mind. He is able to process information well, and learn new concepts, and apply them, in much less time than others. His IQ was above 250 as a high schooler, with his testing being similar to Reed Richards’s at the same age during college. Parker is extremely tech-savvy, and has been able to hack into Stark systems in order to reprogram the original Iron Spider suit so that he wouldn’t be observed by Tony Stark while using it. Peter Parker, while his body was switched with Octavius’s, possesses the information that Otto learned while studying to obtain his doctorate. While not having all of the information that his former nemesis did before, Octavius still had to update in order to receive a PhD. --Invention and Engineering: Having a knack for working with machinery and technology, Peter has invented his own web-shooters, nearly all of his costumes and the systems within them, often being comparable to that of a suit of Iron Man’s armor. --Biophysics: The degree in which Peter did his graduate study and Bachelor’s degree for. He has a particular depth of knowledge and passion for this field. (Applicable to after the age of 25) --Biochemistry: A degree obtained in Peter’s name, but not directly by him, Otto Octavius obtained Peter a doctorate in this field, studying and writing dissertations which Peter has been able to remember since regaining his body. (Applicable to after the age of 28) -Willpower: Peter Parker’s greatest asset as a hero is his willpower. He never gives up, being identified as a hero who always stands up after being knocked down. The primary successes of his willpower being overcome were when biological components had been brought in, such as a symbiote sabotaging his central nervous system. -Acrobatics: Over the years as a hero, Peter has had a great amount of practice in acrobatics, in order to accent his fighting style and move more effectively through the city. He can perform feats that even olympic gymnasts can’t manage thanks to this expertise, and his superhuman agility. -Martial Arts: Thanks to a wealth of experience handling street-level criminals with his powers, Peter developed a style of fighting that made use of his powers, so as to dispose of enemies with little effort. As time went on, Peter would receive tutoring in martial arts from other heroes, eventually developing his own variant of Kung Fu known as The Way of The Spider, which would serve as a compensation for his spider sense, when he lacked it. Through this he has been able to defeat numerous more experienced martial artists, and stalemated some of the greatest fighters in the world. Of course, he is still often defeated by superior tactics and improvisation, as well as opponents with who he’s not familiar. Parker primarily uses movement and leverage in his fighting in order to take on large opponents, which has become unnecessary in most cases, but still serves him well when fighting those stronger than himself. -Photography: Peter has a wealth of experience in photography, taking professional-quality pictures for the publication for years.
Superhuman Powers and Abilities -Spider-Mutate Physiology: Due to the spider bite irradiating his DNA, causing his mutation to enhance nearly every aspect of his biology, from agility to durability. Even his senses have experienced a similar degree of enhancement. --Wall-Crawling: Through manipulation of the electrons in an aura around his body, Spider-Man is able to adhere any part of his body to any surface or object, even through thick-soled shoes. This ability overcomes the laws of electron’s behavior of mutual-repulsion. A single of Peter’s fingers have sufficient bonding power to hold several tons of weight. --Superhuman Strength: Ranging from 2 tons as a teenager to over 100 tons as an adult. His strength is constantly kept in check. The power of Peter’s leaps allow him to leap over 30 stories when his powers were new. --Superhuman Speed: Peter is able to move faster than the eye can track, when going at his full speed, moving and reacting beyond the scope of what a normal human can keep up with. --Superhuman Reflexes: Not only is he able to react to his own actions, Peter is able to react and process information roughly forty times faster than a normal human. With this and his Spider-Sense, Peter is able to evade nearly all manner of attack. --Superhuman Agility: With this power Peter’s able to match and sometimes exceed almost any olympic gymnastics and acrobatics record. His tendons and muscles are roughly twice as flexible as a normal human’s. --Superhuman Equilibrium: Unless his sense of balance is actively being sabotaged, Spider-Man cannot lose his balance. This is instinctive, so he does not have to actively balance himself. --Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man is able to fight at the fullest extent of his abilities for several hours at a time before becoming fatigued, and hold his breath for up to eight minutes. --Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man is insanely durable, able to take attacks from other superhumans without apparent injury. He is particularly more apt to withstand blunt force and kinetic trauma than bullets or other sharp weapons, as these don’t seem to need any special design to pierce his skin. --Regenerative Healing Factor: Peter is able to rapidly heal from almost any kind of injury which doesn’t entail loss of limb or innards. He has recovered from total blindness in several hours, and third degree burns within days. --Enhanced Immune System: Peter does not take as long for typical human disease or poisons to improve. However, if accompanied by injury, he can still fall under the weather. --Enhanced Senses: Peter’s physical senses are greatly enhanced, giving him far more information and sharper ability to detect his surroundings. Initially this caused him sensory overload as a teenager, making it difficult for him to fight without some type of filter to make more evident things less obvious. He would eventually design specialized lenses that assisted with this on all of his costumes. ---Spider-Sense: Beyond his sensory abilities, Peter has a passive reaction that is inbuilt into his body, his anatomy giving him warning signs of impending danger. It manifests as a tingle in his head. This seems to be party linked to his anatomy, but also seems to be mildly psychic in nature, being connected to the web of life itself.
Weaknesses -Spider-Sense Disruption: Beings which have been linked to his physiology, registering as a part of himself, systems and abilities which sabotage his Spider-Sense, or other attacks that are designed to specifically fall under the ability’s radar are highly dangerous to Peter. -Ethyl Chloride: This pesticide negates most of Peter’s powers, causing him to grow steadily weaker and more nauseous the longer he is exposed to it. -Bad Luck: Peter has a unique string of bad luck that makes balancing his regular life and heroic life a greater chore than it is for others. It creates numerous set-backs in his personal life, his sense of responsibility compelling him to take action, having caused him to drop out of college his first time through.
Possessions and Equipment -Web-Shooters: Developing from simple bracer devices that contain cartridges, to wristbands that disguises as a watch, these are inventions of Peter’s own design, improving steadily over time to become unique and advanced technology on its own. At current they can access numerous different modes and settings which serve a broad variety of powers. -Utility Belt -Spider-Tracers -Spider-Signal -Varied Spider-Suits and Spider-Armors: For almost as many situations as he’s been in, Peter has a variety of Spider-Man costumes, with varying degrees of advanced processors inside of them that display on the lenses. Connected to a personal network that he utilizes across several computers he keeps between his apartment and work. He is able to use his lenses as a HUD to activate and access these computers, as well as tap into other networks which he can hack into. -Filtering Lenses: Rims of his costume’s lenses are always design with a shutter, allowing them to react to the twitches and movements of his eyes, filtering out sensory “noise” that only serves to overload Peter.

Peter will be heavily based off a mixture of the comics ( earth-616 ), the Spider-Man PS4 game, and the MCU.
The spider suit Peter uses here will be the one from the game with the Karen A.I. built into it.
He’s been Spider-Man for 11 years now.
Peter has a few friends in the police force that he’ll combine forces with / help — so they let him pick up on their scanner frequencies. It’s good to have allies everywhere!
Tony is basically his dad now!
some history —
Peter Benjamin Parker was born in Queens to Richard and Mary Parker.
When Peter was still an infant his parents got assigned by the CIA to infiltrate the Algerian based spy ring controlled by the Red Skull. Once the Red Skull figured out they were double agents he had them killed in a plane crash.
Peter was an orphan now, and went to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. They would go on to raise him as if the boy was their own son.
The boy grew up to be extremely bright in science, becoming a high honor student at Midtown High School. He was a shy kid, and with the interest in his studies that made him a target for bullies, especially from Flash Thompson.
Peter attended a public exhibition demonstrating how to safely handle nuclear laboratory waste materials. He was only fifteen years old when he was bitten on the hand by a spider that was irradiated by a particle accelerator used during the demonstration.
When Peter was heading home a car almost hit him, but he jumped out of the way. This was when he discovered that he somehow gained incredible abilities. All the traits similar to that of a spider. He decided to test out his powers after seeing an ad offering a cash prize if you won. He ended up winning.
Peter designs his own costume and fabricating a fluid similar to a spider’s web and wrist-mounted web-shooters. He decided to call himself Spider-Man, and he became an immediate sensation.
One night Peter decided not to stop a thief thinking it wasn’t his responsibility to do so, and he forgot about the incident as he got more popular. It wasn’t until his Uncle Ben was murdered that everything changed. He was full of remorse since the thief he didn’t stop was the one that killed his father figure. From this day forward he feels an obligation to use his powers responsible, becoming a superhero. with great power comes great responsibility.
He has a lot of villains in his rogues gallery. Tinkerer, Doctor Octopus, the Sandman, the Lizard, Electro, Chameleon, the Big Man and his Enforcers, Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, Green Goblin, the Fox, the Shocker, Carnage, Rhino, Scorpion, the Melting Man, Hobgoblin, and Vulture are some of the more well known of them. Several of them would end up forming the Sinister Six as well. He recently took on Mr. Negative which was exhausting as you can imagine. His henchmen were all over the city causing trouble with dangerous weaponry, but he managed to handle it all on his own.
Green Goblin kidnapped Gwen Stacy, and Peter found them at the Brooklyn bridge. They fought, but Gwen fell from the bridge. He tried to save her when he shot a web out, grabbing onto her leg. The impact from stopping suddenly caused her neck to snap, killing her instantly. Green Goblin escaped, but Peter was distraught over the death of the woman he loves.
He wants to be a better hero for not just Uncle Ben, but for Gwen too. He blames himself, convinced that he could have saved them if he had been pushing himself harder after getting his powers.
He’s twenty-six years old currently, which means he has been Spider-Man for eleven years. He doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Peter fights his foes a lot, he’s tired, but he continues to protect New York despite all the tragedy that he has been through. He’s known to push himself nonstop for days fighting if he has to.
Peter is a doctor, and has a PhD in Biochemistry. He also has a graduate degree in Biophysics.
He has an IQ north of 250. He’s a master at robotics, engineering, inventing, and he’s just a genius when it comes to science in general.
powers and abilities —
SPIDER PHYSIOLOGY: Peter possesses the proportionate powers of a spider. The radioactive, complex mutagenic enzymes in the spider’s blood that were transferred at the time of the bite triggered numerous body-wide mutagenic changes within him, granting Peter superhuman strength, speed, toughened flesh, and numerous arachnid-like abilities.
He can crawl on walls, but everyone knows that, right?
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH: He’s able to press lift many tons. Peter’s physical strength is sufficient enough to enable him to lift and throw objects as heavy as a big rig semi truck with ease.
He also possesses superhuman stamina, speed, reflexes, equilibrium, and agility. He also has a healing factor enabling him to heal faster than normal humans, or regenerate from injuries others wouldn’t be able to recover from.
SPIDER-SENSE: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory “danger” or “spider” sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. This will go off for minor and major threats that could be dangerous. His spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. He can also use this to track radio frequencies.
Peter is a master acrobat, and martial artist. He’s also a genius with an IQ of north of 250 as stated earlier. He’s one of the smartest people on Earth. He’s also an expert inventor.
He has a strong Force of Will, completely free of evil and temptation.
Peter has a pair of web-shooters on him at all times. When he’s not dressed in his suit he invented a set concealed to look like bracelets to the rest of the world. He’s really proud of them, and they’re loaded with not just regular web-fluid, but the capability to use electronic webs as well. He doesn’t always need them, but he likes to be prepared and have the option available until he can get to his suit.
