If I remember this show correctly, all of these men are tied to Norman Osborn in some way. Except Electro. Sandman and Rhino were petty crooks experimented upon by Doctor Octopus (who was working for Norman Osborn, who had an alliance with Tombstone). Doctor Octopus had an experiment backfire on himself, sending his repressed power hungry and assertive urges up to the surface. Vulture had his invention stolen by Osborn, so he turned to crime to get revenge. Shocker was initially Montana, one of The Enforcers, a group of mercenaries hired by Tombstone and Hammerhead (who, again, may have had an alliance with Norman Osborn). They failed at their mission, so Montana was singled out and given his power suit. Electro was just a mechanic who got electrocuted by a whole tank of electric eels, which turned him into a being of pure energy. He had no ties to anyone else, which makes him such an interesting choice for this team.
You know, almost all the actors for this group also showed up on either The Batman (2004) or Batman: The Brave and The Bold. Sometimes both. Peter Macnicol, Robert Englund, Jeff Bennett, John DiMaggio and Clancy Brown. With the exception of Electro's voice actor (Crispin Freeman), all these others did DC work too. So, y'know...that really helps sell the fact that Electro is like the odd one out here. I love all six of these characters and their actors, though. They all did great.

6 whole morons, for some reason my favorite part of tssm is the og six, I don't mind Mysterio or Kraven, but I'm biased. The folks working on the tssm continuation au w/ me started talking about shocker/vulture as a joke, and at this point we're not sure if its a joke anymore

Warner Bros is negotiating big sale of shelved ‘Coyote Vs. Acme’ movie.
Gareth West’s distributor-financier Ketchup Entertainment is negotiating an all-rights acquisition in the $50M range for the animated-live-action hybrid project. Ketchup last year rescued the same studio’s The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.
The pact isn’t finalised and there’s still a chance it doesn’t make but it’s heading in the right direction. Should it get over the line, the film would get a theatrical release in 2026.

In 1546, an Asgardian, who exiled himself to Midgard known as the Berserker, told his life story to a French girl. The girl’s brother, a priest, liked the story and wrote a version of it titled “The Warrior Who Stayed”. (“The Well” Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D., TV)
