Thank you for the tag @pinkbeeps! One day I will hop back over to Twisted Wonderland fics and immediately smash face first into your SymVil. The fact that it’s over still hit me like a truck. The completed fic stares into my soul from my “marked for later” fics every time I scroll past it, judging me. I think it may be plotting my demise.
Please tell your fic not to murder me. Because then I DEFINITELY can’t read it. 😔
ANYWAY!
Last Song: “his land” by Paris Paloma
Favorite Color: Black & silver. I like the combo :3

it'd be really cool if everyone put their money where their mouths are and went and saw the new fully 2d animated looney tunes movie that's in theaters RIGHT NOW instead of continuing to scream about the snow white and lilo and stitch remakes

The stars are out and about tonight
I’m so glad that there’s at least one looney tunes film coming out, and to such rave reviews. It’s nice to know the looney tunes haven’t lost their touch.

so interesting that we have a snow white live action disney remake in theaters that modernizes everything for the worst at the same time as a fully 2d animated looney tunes movie that feels refreshingly classic in all the right ways

So yeah we went to see the first ever fully animated Theatrical Looney Tunes Movie "The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" where I was interested in going to see this being a long time lover of Looney Tunes especially the classic ones I was surprised at the audience for the showing we went to there wasn't alot of people and it was mostly all adults there was very few kids there like mostly a hand full of them, I thought there would have been more? but then again it was a week night that we went.
Anyway as for the movie itself it is what I think it is what you would kind of expect from a Looney Tunes movie. its kinda weird and crazy and a bit random at time. Its an amazing blend of classic, zany Looney Tunes humor with some modern humor, references and jokes thrown in there its like jokes on top of gags on top of jokes all wrapped in this story about friendship, family and bubblegum that turns people into zombies lol
I mean the opening sequence with the "Farmer Jim" character that shows the somewhat origin of Porky Pig and Daffy Duck and their relationship should alone tell you what type of movie this is going to be. Where the humor is there in pretty much every scene of the movie I didn't laugh out loud at it some people did I did giggle and there was a few chuckles at alot of it but I can say I pretty much smiled through the whole thing it is a very fun extremely enjoyable movie and it does kinda make you feel up uplifted and happy when you leave the movie at least it did for me.
The animation was really good and really on point. I seen some people surprised that it was 2D animation which doesn't really come as a surprise to me being WB animation hasn't given up the 2D yet being they were using it for all their DC animated movies which this movie kinda shares a bit of the same style as those.
The voice acting for this was excellent as well especially for the main character of Porky Pig and Daffy Duck also this movie has a excellent soundtrack that fits this perfectly.
So I would absolutely say go see this and give it plenty of love if its playing near you especially if you are a fan of Looney Tunes and take the kids and show them the fun and awesomeness of these characters and have a great time even the credits are really cool as they scroll you get to see all kinds of character sketches and designs. also there is both a mid credits and end credits for this too! so enjoy the artwork while you wait for those.
