☙ she/he ✧ 20s ✧ nephilim ✧ ☙ sometimes you gotta make a hotgirl and shes mine. literally! she has fire powers. an absolute icon. a member of the rebellion who works in both nursing and as a therapist. she is not actually qualified to be one but you kinda get what you get in a dystopia. can be a bit blunt, likes to joke around with people, but deeply loyal and cares a great deal about those close to her. ☙ she was also the affair child of a corrupt politician and found to be useful in covering up her half sister's powers so she grew up as a personal servant to her. until she found out, lashed out, ran away to the rebellion before she got herself killed, nearly died in the process. but she met thea and they managed to survive, get rescued, and make it there together. they've been friends ever since.

aldrakion: custom part-dragon species. was created in a series of supersoldier experiments, though only one successful subject capable of transforming into a full draconic form was ever created. and then immediately lost lmao. that's celeste! she had no idea about this for a while. the project and its perpetrators have been taken down and brought to justice, and the subjects freed. demon: a bit different flavor of demon than your traditional sort, it's a species with a wide amount of variety in forms, which are constructed by the individual once they reach maturity. they also can possess various sorts of powers, which vary based on the individual, but are rare. nephilim: the product of reproduction between a demon and a human. tend to possess humanoid forms, and cannot decide their appearance at maturity. however, they are more likely to have powers.

PARAMAY DAY 13 (CREATION)

*inhales* oh boy, here we go…

Claypso was created on January 12, 2018, the day/day after I had seen the movie “The Greatest Showman”. It Unlocked something in my brain because the MOMENT I got home I pulled up Pinterest & started looking for inspo to make a Cool New ~*Self Insert OC*~. I can't really remember my exact thought process (who knows wtf 14yo Luka was on) BUT I do know I specifically made Calypso to represent "me". I would then joke for the next 2ish years on how, despite this, I made Calypso a boy when I identified as a Cis Girl. Idk I just find that fact so funny now that I’m nonbinary. (In the same vein, I also made him confident/proud of his bisexuality when I still had no clue if I was bi or not. We love projecting onto our own ocs/paras <3).

Calypso is the parame I remember actively making, thinking, "this Character is me but runs a circus" (I had just seen The Greatest Showman so inspo was strong there lol). Which is funny, because if you look at Cali, then look at me, I don't think you'd think/realize that?? His personality is very much…the opposite of mine lol. I am not a super cool extrovert that has multiple friend groups and goes on odd adventures. I’m on tumblr participating in a month-long oc challenge. Clearly something went wrong /j.

Uh. I made him at a time when I was questioning if I was Bi or not (I mean i was a freshman/starting highschool. Do any of us know who we truly are then?) so I kinda projected that into him??? In all honesty I feel like he should fall somewhere on the aro spectrum as well, since I'm aro & that's important to me, but I want it to evolve naturally if it at all happens so I won't entertain the idea just yet.

Funny enough, homeboy has always been a homeboy. Er, what I mean by that is, even tho I made him based off of me/representing me, having him be a (cis) male was one of my first decisions for him. At the time I wasn't 100% sure why, maybe I was influenced by the movie, which had Hugh Jackman star/play as PT Barnum, both males. But uh *looks @ nonbinary flag* I think there's a reason why now. Also part of the reason he's so feminine / """girly""" I guess. Tbh I probably projected into him a lot more than I realize (coughdaddyissuescough) but he is my parame & started out as a paraself, so it's fair.

Oh wow I haven’t even gotten into the original version of his story yet. It’s honestly not that different from how it is now, with a few minor differences. Originally, he was just the circus’ ringleader and died trying to save Clairette from a lion attack. The time loop was because he was the son of Persephone and Morpheus (yes..the greek gods…they were a thing in this once) so I think Persephone allowed him to be a Poltergeist?? OH and Macbeth was his half brother which made their relationship kind of sad because Cali genuinely wanted a sibling relationship but Macbeth just wanted him dead (Macbeth is a Reaper and his job is to collect Souls Cali is literally a lost soul do u see the problem here).

The VR stuff was always canon (except for that brief period of time where I got insecure and it wasn’t and everything was just their normal life which made things less confusing but also there was literally no plot lmao). Idk what else to say uhm fun facts: 

His default playlist is a little over 8hrs long and is currently the longest playlist I have on Spotify (that I listen to. My instrumental playlist is a little longer but tbh I rarely touch it).

He used to have gold eyes. They were quickly changed to blue and got shifted into the turquoise they are now! In addition to that, his first design used to have him wearing an actual ringleader outfit. He also used to have black hair, then light purple, and finally the dark purple it is now. In total he’s been through roughly 7-8 redesigns.

Cali is combined with a previous character, Anthony Morningstar. Anthony was inspired by Pride!Roman (an AU of Roman Sanders from the webseries “Sanders Sides”) and is the reason Calypso is now a prince! I scrapped Anthony because I had no idea what to do with his character and felt like him & Cali were too similar to really justify them being different people.

The tarot cards that represent him are “The Magician” and “Page of Wands”.

“A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman is his theme song.

i spent more time on this than i thought I would in truth, but hi. Remember Nomi Spring from this post and I mentioned that she has a sister. I finally drew her.

Though funny thing is, I ended up drawing her with my Tip Your Hat AU in mind. A good number of my OCs are already crossover OCs so like whatever and stuff.

Stuff on Fimbulvetr

Here’s a queued post I made in advance about my other OC, Fimbulvetr, an enigmatic man who lives in the forest that is fraught with the “rift” that supposedly keeps the Districts where they are.

(He’s still being done atm but he’s got long hair you can curl with your finger)

He's an OC of mine who’s background is similar to Exdeath from FFV, he was once a holy tree that lived many a millennia in the time of the forest. 

However, evil spirits and demons ran rampant in the forest and caused an unbalance between the dimensions and the rift.

One small sprout-ling was forcibly used to seal the demons and spirits within itself, acting as a prison and thereby grew stronger with each absorbed character into the bark

However, the spirits began to mold and twist the tree, and soon enough Fimbulvetr was born. However, he wasn’t fully “created” and is left a broken puppet of sorts, with an eye gone and patched to prevent spirits leaking from his eye.

Naked and newly born, Fimbulvetr dresses himself from exactly what you think:

A scarecrow.

Toughened and darkly curious about the world, Fimbulvetr is left with only the knowledge that he cannot let the souls inside him to be released into the world, lest chaos be opened once more, and carries with him a spear Demi dubs Gungnir simply because it feels “right.”

That also said, before he meets Demi, Fim passes his time guarding the forest that Demi visits time to time, though after Demi’s wolf dies from a beast that later was sealed into Fimbulvetr.

Demi at first believed that Fimbulvetr was the “true” form of the wolf he had made friends with, and nearly offers the pelt before realizing his mistake.

His true name was in fact something not able to be pronounced, but Demi names him Fimbulvetr due to the time they met, winter (Fimbulvetr is also the name of the great winter that Ragnarok will bring.)

Able to care for the forest and allow them to do his bidding as he so pleases, he invites Demi to “teach him about life” by offering morning glories to him.

Fim is extremely serious and doesn’t know how to handle things like romance or compliments as of yet, the stoic words are very appreciated by Demi when he stops by to talk.

Has a soft spot for animals and is fundamentally annoyed by squirrels due to being a tree once.

While he doesn’t speak much, he has an attitude that’s definitely more hotheaded and fierce when properly brought up, because of this, he sometimes asks Demi to spar with him to learn how to defend himself again. He claims it’s for relaxation, however, he doesn’t know what that means (he heard it from Demi once) and is really asking to let loose the build up of the spirits within him.

Did you know?: When I had Demi and him paired together, a quote that came to mind was;

Demi does have a crush on him, but like before, doesn’t think he’s ready just yet for any love until he really understands love. On a separate note, non canonically I like to pair them up, Fim tho is super dominant and possessive about Demi if he was to ever get together with him.

When referring to others, he comes up with nicknames for each and everyone of them. Demi is “Little Wolf”, Persephone is “Anxious Queen”, Hades is “Shadow of Man”, and so on. He’s very big on ‘em!

Monologues to himself many times and likes to think aloud, this doesn’t contrast so much with Demi, but, Demi likes to hear Fim speak more than just him alone.

Also has “Old Speak” built into him, Demi helped to modernize him a bit, but, the Demi will often role-play being a prince of ages to entertain Fim, though he always likes to pretend to be the retainer who always seeks to be at the prince’s side

Fim: “By my spear, my prince, I shall lay waste to the battlefield, blood shall rain from Gungnir’s tip--” Demi: “Nay! Lest we lead our lives by the spear and die by the spear, nay!”

Demi likes to play with his hair when they spend time together, and will steal his hat to tease him.

His hat also doubles as a talking magical battery, zippers opening and mouthing off for him Ala Iago from Aladdin

Has never ever fallen in love and is most likely gay (he’s indifferent to women and of course respects them, but really only changes his demeanor for Demi) 

Literally is the most bara physique that could ever be there, with a balance of definition and power, Demi likes to poke fun at him for it by also jumping onto his back.

Carries body scars from demons and animals he had to fight

Like Sailor Pluto, it is a taboo for him to “leave the forest”, Demi understands this, and makes it a point to visit at some point every day.

When fighting, he can use the sealed spirits inside himself for a boost in spells or actions at the cost of being corrupted if he lets himself get too deep.

If he rips off his eyepatch, the spirits will either A) Leak or if they realize their “puppet” is in danger, will work with Fim to defeat whatever is in his way.

Very jealous when others spend time with each other and not himself. It’s often implied that if he truly gets depressed, the spirits will simply manipulate him into letting them take over his persona / body. It doesn't happen though thankfully due to Demi’s interference 

Admittedly enjoys the periodical massage or chin scratch

Once tried a bathhouse with Demi and actually wouldn’t leave due to how happy he was.

Also revealed his ripped bod there too 

Is the most likely to wear a speedo or a thong without learning the true meaning of such

Is very new to human / demon culture so actively tries to learn

A ferocious eater, can devour up to 2x the amount Demi can eat (Who could eat for 3 men)

Does not believe in the gods that are rumored to rule the Districts as he himself is not part of the district. 

If given the chance, would give up his life for someone he cares for. He later learns what life’s meaning is about, for himself.
