How could I, born and growing up in the 90s, not become an Enemies-to-Lovers fan when Disney gave me Beauty and the Beast, introduced it as THE ultimate love story, and kindergarten-me totally fell for it?

And then, when I was in elementary school, Disney gave me this ultimate VHS-only E2L pairing with the most Zuko-coded lion I’ve ever seen (I know, Zuko came after Kovu, but still). I was old enough to have Roman Empires in my head, and those two were my first one:

So, yeah, Disney’s fault that I grew up becoming a sucker for tension love stories, especially E2L.

Also, don’t take this too seriously. It’s just what has gone through my head recently, and I thought, I write it down for fun.

i based the poses somewhat on this Hercules/Meg pin. changed Drake quite a bit though, he's nowhere near as tall as Meg so i had him perch on LP instead. plus i had him have his hand on his hip like's he about to start lecturing at the drop of a hat. LP is here for all of it ^^

Keeping up with the popular headcanon/kind of just a mythological fact that Ariel and Hercules are cousins.

Ariel in my world more resembles the Halle live action version (darker skin, red locs)

Hercules is one of the handful of characters I've kept as a white dude

But now I'm imagining Meg with darker skin and burgundy locs/braids

And the three of them messing with strangers where Ariel introduces the couple as "my cousin and their partner" and lets people assume Meg is her cousin and Hercules is the partner

Listening to them talk about the family resemblance and how the two girls look just alike just for them to be like "Huh?? I'm talking about the guy..." and watch the look of shock and horror on the strangers' faces when they realize
