Someone has probably already pointed it out, but I absolutely love the detail of how Hades is touching Persephone, but his other hand, the one next to Zagreus is just kind of there, not entirely making contact. It shows really well that even though their relationship and things between them are better they're still not perfect (and probably never will be)

I don’t understand the urge to completely remove the kidnapping from Persephone’s story, if anything it’s what makes her relationship with Hades so interesting and complex, he kidnapped her, but he also treats her like an equal, listens to her wisdom, doesn’t get in the way of her decisions as queen, compare and contrast that to Zeus and Hera who were said to be lovers before they got married only for their marriage to be absolutely chaotic and toxic. The dichotomy of the beginning of these relationships vs what comes after is very interesting to explore.

Okay last Hades post! Just my very loose and incorrect theory as to why Melinoë is the protagonist this time around, based off of my experiences as an older sibling.

Hades II spoilers!

I got back to playing hades II after the new update and realized that it's highly implied that thoses who chronos froze are in a kinda of suspended consciousness, a slumber of sorts where they can't realize the passage of time, that got me thinking of persephone and melinoe

When she wakes up, for her it will be like one day she put her baby down, blinked and it was now a grown woman, in what to her amounts to a moment she will have lost all the important moments in her baby's life.

I can't tell who had it worst, hades who had to rot in his jail for years knowing his daughter was growing up without him or persephone who lost her in the blink of an eye
