I think I've answered this before but oh well here we go again ~

I just don't think they're a match - at ALL. Ash may act like a kid sometimes but it's NOTHING compared to Kenny.

The whole 'diamond dandruff' thing started with him and he kept it going when they got older. He told Ash and Brock stories about her without even asking if it's okay.

And worse of all is he told her if he won a battle against Ash then he wants her to journey with him. Like ?? bro didn't even think about how she feels and what SHE wants to do.

So yeah, I just really think they're not compatible lol

Hello there! Now i'm sure y'all have heard of pokeani before, if so, you must have heard of notp's before, right? Basically, a notp is the opposite of an otp, it's like the ship that you loathe the most, every shipper has them and i'm no different, now, let's get into the top 5!

Top 5:penguinshipping(dawn x kenny) now, i probably will get a lot of hate for prefering ikari over this, but idc, this is straight up boring, this is like the most basic pairing ever! Sure they were childhood friends but that doesn't mean anything, not to mention the fanfics are bland as well, sure it makes more "sense" than ikari, but atleast ikari's interesting! Also, they feel like siblings more than anything tbh

Fankidtober Day 4: Katelyn and Danielle

Finally I get to properly introduce Alex’s younger sisters, and Kenny and Dawn’s twin girls! Katelyn is the more outgoing one while Danielle is quite shy and has social anxiety. When they first set out on their journeys together, Katelyn wanted to become a trainer like Alex, while Danielle settled on contests. At Danielle’s first contest, Katelyn entered with her so that Danielle would feel more at ease.

Unfortunately, while Katelyn passed the Appeals round with ease, Danielle struggled and ended up getting eliminated. Katelyn went on to win the contest ribbon and tried giving it to Danielle, but she refused to take it, saying that Katelyn won it so she should keep it. Losing in her first contest greatly impacts Danielle’s anxiety, making her feel like a complete failure.

At Katelyn’s first Gym challenge, Katelyn noticed how attentive Danielle was while watching the battle. Even though Katelyn lost the match, she didn’t feel bad about it. In fact, it gave her an idea. She encouraged Danielle to challenge the Gym next. Without having to worry about how others might judge her, Danielle was able to focus on the battle and succeeded in defeating the Gym Leader, earning her first badge.

At this point, the girls decided that they would switch paths—Katelyn would follow in the footsteps of her parents and become a Top Coordinator, and Danielle would take on the Sinnoh League. Both girls benefit from this decision, and would go on to grow and flourish from their new dreams.

Oh, one other bit of information! Katelyn’s starter is a Piplup, and Danielle’s is a Turtwig.

This is where anime!Dawn not having much in common plot wise with the DP protag works to my advantage. Lucas gets to be from Twinleaf and be childhood bffs with Barry, and Dawn can keep some of the changes the anime made to her backstory. I do like the childhood friends angle with Kenny (and Leona, not that she factors into this verse much) so that very much is a thing. I imagine Kenny still had a crush on her at some point but nothing comes from that in the end. She was not swayed by his chaddish ways (also had not entered his full Chad Form before Dawn meets Riley, so boy did not have a chance to fully woo her).

Zoey and Dawn do also date at some point when the two are in their later teens, but ultimately break up. Both end up too focused on their budding careers and their relationship fizzles out as a result.

AAML: Diamond and Pearl Version -  Follow me as I remake the DP episodes in order and in sequence, all so I can add the biggest star besides Ash himself. Misty! Watch her and Ash's love grow as they go on their journey. The absolute LONGEST story in my portfolio, and you will see my writing evolve the longer you go on.
