James Gunn shared this image from Peacemaker season 2. Everyone thinks it's Apache Chief. Which I think is a good guess. But I think specifically Gunn will use the Manitou Raven version of the character. For a while I thought the offensiveness of the 70s version would keep the character relegated to the past. But ever since the younger version in Young Justice it seems people resonate with Apache Chief. Which I'm happy about cause he was my favorite in Superfriends.

I haven't the faintest clue. I mean, I'm guessing that was shot on a sound stage, but those look like birchwood trees, which are not especially common in the areas of the Southwest most commonly associated with the Apache Nation.

Manitou Raven is a cool character, but I think Apache Chief would be a better fit for the irreverent nature of Peacemaker. So my guess is to go with it being Apache Chief.

...either that, or it's Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg, who has managed to recover from his seemingly fatal injuries by way of some mystical Native American treatment. Which would be silly, and potentially offensive, but silly and potential offensive was pretty much the bread and butter of the first season of Peacemaker.

Darkness of dragons could have been so much better if it focused more on Qinter moments, first, let's imagine that Winter trust Qibli enough to put the earring on at Jade Mountain, next, Qibli and Winter go to Queen Thorn immediately, so Qibli's family is trying to manipulate him, meanwhile Winter is dealing with guilt after finding out Glacier was killed by Darkstalker's spell, both of them seek comfort in each other, Winter convinces Qibli that he shouldn't worry about his old family, and that he should focus on his new family, meanwhile Qibli convinces Winter that he shouldn't feel guilty for his aunt's death or anything that happened to his family, they could have dealt with Qibli's and Winter's family problems at the same time, and possibly could have gotten rid of peacemaker because Winter could be there.

Hear me out. Gabriel and Jesse but it's Athena and Odysseus from EPIC. I'm not saying their whole story arc but definitely 'Warrior of the Mind'/'Little Wolf' and 'My Goodbye'

Gabriel - God of war, bravery and selflessness

Jesse - some random kid he picked up and mentored until Jesse messed up big time

Haven't saw EPIC before, but this is a reason to lookl through it. Defenatilly love the role you gave both to Jesse and Gabriel. Thpugh Gabriel being a God Of War is funny to me since I see him as the most peacmaker ever existed, haha.

I like Darkstalker, and I know he’s a massive asshole. But he is a good villain, and he doesn’t get redeemed which is good! And yes, he gets turned into Peacmaker, but he didn’t choose that. He got outsmarted. Also yeah, I just love him because he is a snarky little dumbass. I would love there to be a book of an alternate timeline or something where during the past, when Darkstalker and Clearsight were still alive together, they figured out the right choices and they got to be happy. That probably will never happen though, and i’m fine with that. Darkstalker is a stinky villain and that’s okay with me >:]

Favourite song: agh it’s so hard…I’m gonna say Hades from UDAD, but Peacmaker from HNOC is a close second with Lucky Sevens basically tying.

That poll I reblogged got me going and now I'm trying to combine all the fanfics I have downloaded onto my kindle in the past year and a half. It's a fascinating insight into what fandoms I've touched upon in that time.

COD, D&D, Ted Lasso, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy, Peacmaker, Witcher freaking Star Trek. That last one still feels vaguely blasphemous.

I also discovered a cache of Kylux fanfics which ended up in some random folder and was never included into my other Kylux fics. I am lowkey praying I will stumble upon this one Kylux fanfic I've been wanting to reread FOR YEARS but I only remember one scene in it.

But what a happy windfall that has been. I haven't had any interest in Kylux in years and my views on it have sorta shifted from enemies to lovers yaaaay to hmmmm that's somewhat problematic...enemies to lovers...ehhhh?

Though don't get me wrong some of theses are still straight fire and still hold up. Anything by Gefionne literally SHOVE IT INTO MY EYEBALLS NOW.

I've also expanded upon my existing fandoms by adding brand new folders for new ships which always makes me feel very chuffed.

This is how I order things. First by fandom and then subfolders for like pairings or specific series etc.

This also makes it damned near impossible for me to count how many fics I have because I would have to open each folder and count it up. I kinda want to do that but I also don't since I've been working on this organization thing I'm I'm just now reaching C so this will be a multi-night, multi-hour journey.

And a weird part of me loves every second of it. The rest of my life might be in shambles but god dammit my fanfic organization is on point. Pfffft
