The Jedi Order mainly being an institution about teaching makes me sad that we never see more "Jedi classes" outside of the popular ones like martial arts, healthcare and Force wackery.
Alongside basic language and science education etc there have to be at least some trade and college courses on offer, right? The Jedi need a bunch of their own people with law degrees. Proper pedagogy studies for future crèchemasters. Cooks. Managers. All types of engineers. Electricians. Accountants. Researchers. How many Jedi hold a doctorate or professorate? Because I think a large number of them do. Their databanks are filled with millennia of dissertations. You can still find Yoda's articles from 500 years ago and cite them in your history research paper.
The Order just having its own micro-economy going on and every member getting their own regular job education next to all the lightsaber swinging adventures... pls

crunch time
the deadline is fast approaching! which means the post-its will multiply at a similar speed. i'm still working on the data analysis even though i should have started writing already. but can't really write about much without the data analysis. so i need to finish that asap!
the date for my last exam was finally released and luckily it's about three weeks after the defense so i can now fully focus on finishing the report and preparing the presentation without having to worry about studying :)
#physics#studying#university#studyblr#it feels weird that the end is in sight now. this degree has taken forever!#it's probably going to feel even weirded once the project is over and i've only got the exam left#but considering that pretty much every previous exam season i'd felt like i was going to fail and wanted to give up#i actually feel fairly positive at the moment that i can finish the degree and will pass both the project and the exam#it's weird to have any positive feelings about this degree lol#but a nice change#anyway enough talking. i now need to go and actually make it happen#see you on the other side!
