My great aunt (Grew up gay in the 50s,) died recently and was suffering from late stage dementia and Parkinson’s disease. I am trans. Harry quickly closes the door to his room behind him and turns to lean against it. He presses his hands to his face and finally whispers what he’s been thinking all this time.

“Fuckkkkk,” he drags out. It feels so good he keeps going. “Fuck, fuck, bloody fucking, fuck.”

A sharp coolness presses against his cheek and shocks him like fireworks bursting on his skin. He pulls his hand away from his face to see his brand new Ministry administered goblin-made silver wedding on his left hand, glinting in the light.

“FUCK.”

He closes his eyes and tries to think about anything besides his wedding band. But that only gets him thinking about Parkinson in her white silk gown that hugged her curves and highlighted the pink blush of her skin when he took her hand and slid the ring that used to be his mother's on her finger. He remembers the soft pink on her cheeks as he bent to kiss her.

It was supposed to be soft and quick, a chaste kiss- longer than a peck but nothing noteworthy. It’s not like he wanted to kiss her. She’s Pansy Parkinson– bully, Slytherin girl who tried to have him murdered– kissing her is the last thing he wants to do. But the stupid reporter hollered, ‘kiss her like you mean it!’ And for some idiotic reason, Harry did.

HP Wizengamot Trials Information Part 2

So Pansy... I feel like she is a good person. Granted she did ask to sacrifice Harry, but it could be considered for the greater good. Besides, a lot of fics put her as a friend of Hermione's and I think that's an awesome dynamic.

Yukatas and Yearning is another venture into my "Of wedding robes and revolutions" series featuring hermione/blaise/pansy who were forced together due to a marriage law. Hermione plots to overthrow the government while Blaise and Pansy plot to seduce her.

Firewhiskey and Werewolf Tea is a Pansy/Hermione of the fake dating variety. As in a feverish Hermione thinks Pansy is her wife and Pansy plays along.
