Alright, I had a thought. What if Nintendo started working on like an anime based off of some of the Super Mario games? Yes, we already have a movie, HOWEVER, think of what Nintendo has to work with.

It could be about Paper Mario and The Origami King. Ya'll remember that one? An evil king turns everyone into brainwashed, origami soldiers and Mario has to go on an adventure with said evil kings little sister to stop him and save the Mushroom Kingdom. They fight giant, ancient beings; have fun musical numbers, and make adorkable friends you can get attached to and cry when they die.

And a cool ending if you get 100% completion.

And some message about, i think loving art and using it as a bridge to connect with others.

This already sounds like an anime plot. doesn't it?

This is just one example, because I still haven't played the other Paper Mario games YET.

Ya'll don't gotta agree with me, but I would like to hear other people's opinions on this, because I think this would be so cool!

Soo to get about this Au started it starts when The Origami Craftsman brings both Olly and Olivia to life for the Origami Festival. They were both happy. and excited and got to go. Nothing went wrong but...

While some stared amazed at them, they noticed they were getting some odd looks from some of the people at the festival. Some people in the crowd looked at the Origami Children and whispered things like. 'unnatural' and 'against the laws of nature' 'freaks' They were caught off guard by these whispers...

So they asked the Origami Craftsman if they could leave early feeling uncomfortable. But a few days later after the festival. The Origami Craftsman and Olivia went out together to get some origami supplies while Olly stayed behind. It was while and they still haven't came back yet. So Olly went out to search for them. But what he found...

It broke him...He found Olivia's crumbled up body...And The Origami Craftsman...

They were both dead...Olly was horrified...Doing some searching who had did this...He found out a few Flat Paper Folk did it...They took his family from him.

In anger picked up their bodies as he went back home and took the Origami Craftsman's origami tools as well. And went across the seas. He was going to make a Origami Kingdom...A haven for origami. And then wipe out the Flat Paper Folk.

He found a land that didn't have much to it and started folding the land into origami. He chased out many Flat Paper Folk that lived there...But not every single one. Any just stayed hiding from him.

He found a place in the land to give his family a proper place to rest.

While building his Kingdom he brought life to origami he folded to act as his subjects.

This is just some of them. I don't have all of them yet.

But he gave them life and made them families with each other. But he told them they were never allowed to leave the Kingdom. Otherwise the Flat Paper Folk would kill them.

He used a Paper Macho Gooper Blooper to stop others who got a bit to curious in leaving. And stop any Flat Paper Folk getting to close to his Kingdom.

He brought life to the Origami Craftsman's origami tools. And named them all the Legion Of Stationary.

He sat upon a throne alone in his castle. Plotting his revenge.

The Flat Paper Folk would pay for taking his family from him. And he would keep his subjects safe from the Flat Paper Folk.

No matter what.

That's what I got so far. Hope you enjoy.

I'm a little behind, only because I want to make my doodles better before posting them, whoops. For today's StreamInk though I was able to draw a Bowser from Origami King, where he gets folded into a square Origami.

In most languages, the Colored Pencils boss in Paper Mario: The Origami King has a somewhat lengthy name he introduces himself with. In the English version, it is "Jean-Pierre Colored Pencils the 12th".

The French translation, however, goes one step beyond the other versions and gives him an absurdly lengthy name that also forms an acronym if the individual names are taken as initials. The name is "Côme Raoul Aimé Yves Oscar Nicolas Siméon de Couleur", where the first seven names spell out "C. R. A. Y. O. N. S. de Couleur", French for "colored pencils".

The Paper Mario series turns 24 years old today!

To celebrate, I drew Mario with all his travel companions from both Nintendo Switch entries!

And here he is finally! Our Disco Devil, Hole Punch as a Pokey! Like in this Au he would be found at Shroom Temple but...This is also a changed location as the Yellow Streamer doesn't go there. And the Temple is already out of the sand but. Shroom City isn't.

He still has his love of disco and is very critical with types of music he likes. But he very much loves Thrills At Night. It's groovy to him.

As for attacks he bites people to punch of holes in them. Or throws one of his segments at others.
