I was tagged by @dual-domination to post a snippet of a current WIP <3
I only have one WIP, which is finished and I am in the process of editing. So, have some Pangcan that I was supposed to post for Panchang Week but got delayed because I ended up being sick for 2 weeks
Maybe with time he’ll realise that he can trust them. But for now Pangzi can just do what he can, like letting Wang Can feed their chickens. Feeding them hadn’t taken that long, and Wang Can has now crouched down to take a closer look at the chicks that are only a few weeks old. One of them, Xiaoge can tell them apart but Pangzi can’t, hops over curiously and when Wang Can extends his hand to pet it, takes it as an invite and climbs on. Pangzi really wishes he’d brought his phone out with him.  “Fuck!” Wang Can whispers softly, his hand now gently cradling the chick which has settled down to enjoy the warmth of his skin and promptly fallen asleep. “What do I do?” It’s too easy for Pangzi to fuck with him. “Well,” he says gravelly. “Chicks bond for life. Congratulations, you’re a father now.” “What?!” He wishes he could have made it last longer, but the horrified look on Wang Can’s face makes him laugh so loudly that the chick wakes up and gently pecks at Wang Can’s fingers until he sets it back down and it goes to rejoin its siblings. “You asshole,” Wang Can mutters and he’s so cute Pangzi can’t help but throw an arm around his uninjured shoulder.  “I could see you mentally preparing for your new role as a parent,” Pangzi chuckles. “I swear you aged about ten years in thirty seconds.” “Fuck you,” Wang Can snaps, and ducks out from underneath Pangzi’s arm. There’s no heat to his words though, just a grumbling annoyance the same way Wu Xie sounds when Pangzi gets him with a good prank.
Tagging: @pangzi @strandedchesspiece @merinnan @xantissa @foxofninetales @alxina @amidalogicdive @s1utspeare @killerandhealerqueen @unforth (only if you have a WIP and want to play. No pressure at all)

What is Panchak in Astrology?
Tumblr media
According to the Hindu Panchang, Panchak (Panchak in Astrology) is an unfavourable time (Mahurat) when individuals are instructed not to do certain things. Is it true that this time is bad luck, or is it simply a myth? Does Panchak have any good effects, or does it only have bad ones? Our special blog on Panchak will assist you in figuring out what this social myth is really about.
What is the significance of Panchak? Get an online astrology consultation by the world-renowned Astrologer Mr. Alok Khandelwal.
Panchak is what?
Panchak is the name for the set of five Nakshatras. Vedic astrology says that a Zodiac has 360 ° and 27 constellations. In this way, 13 and 20 minutes add up to 800 degrees for one constellation. In Indian astrology, Panchak is the time when the Moon is in the last five constellations: Dhanishtha, Shatabhisha, Purvabhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada, and Revathi. In other words, or to put it more simply, the time when the Moon is in the signs of Pisces and Aquarius is called Panchak.
Is it unlucky to begin a new job on Panchak?
This is not true. A lot of astrologers don’t think that these constellations are completely bad. Few astrologers have said that these constellations are bad, which is why some special jobs aren’t done during this time. Also, it is completely incorrect to claim that people shouldn’t work throughout this time. In this amount of time, most of the work is done.
Two of such five star clusters, Dhanishtha and Shatbhisha, are called “movable constellations.” So, it’s good to travel, have fun, do business, and buy clothes and jewellery. Purvabhadrapada is a time of anger, so it’s best to deal with court cases and arguments during this time. But Uttara Bhadrapada is always there, and Shilanyaas, Yogabhyaas, and long-term plans are made under it.
People believe that the Revathi constellation is calm and gentle. So, in this constellation, you can do artistic activities. So, it’s clear that not all kinds of work are forbidden during this time. After talking to an astrologer, you can get married, do Griha Pravesh, Mundan-Sanskaar, Girah Nirmaan, and Upanayana, and do business and economic things during this time.
Is it against the rules to do Pooja or anything else religious during Panchak?
People often think that Havan-puja and Devi Visarjan should be restricted during Panchak, but this is not true. When doing good things, especially Dev-Pujan and Panchak are not taken into account. Because of this, Pooja can be done while Panchak. The Vedas don’t claim that we can’t do religious or holy things during Panchak.

What shouldn't be done during Panchak?
During Panchak, you can’t do most of the following five things:
During the Ghanistha constellation, you should not accumulate grass, wood, or oil. It could lead to a fire.
South is the direction of Yam, so people shouldn’t be allowed to go there. People think it’s dangerous to go in this direction.
During the Revathi constellation, you can’t build a rooftop.
During Panchak, it is not allowed to build Charpoy.
Cremation is not allowed during Panchak as it is assumed that if a corpse is burned during Panchak, five men from that community could die.
During Panchak, it is best to do Shanthi karma before burning a dead body.
What should you do if you have to do something during Panchak that you couldn't avoid?
These days, the world is very modern. So, it might not be possible to give up certain work. But the sages have said that you can’t do certain things after studying them in depth. If the five tasks listed above need to be done throughout Panchak, then these solutions must be done first, and only then should the five tasks be started.
If you need to buy things made of wood, you can, but don’t forget to do the Haven of Goddess Gayathri afterward. It helps you stay away from bad situations.
If you have to travel toward the south during Panchak, give Lord Hanuman a fruit. Then you can start your trip.
Before the terrace is built during Panchak, give sweet meat to the people working on it.
You could indeed buy a bed during Panchak. But wait to use them after the Panchak period is over.
The act of cremation is very important. When Panchak comes around and a funeral or cremation is in order, it is recommended that five fake corpses be prepared and burned as well.
By following the rituals for these treatments, you will be able to get rid of any side effects of Panchak.

A Complete Guide Of Griha Pravesh Rituals Every Hindu Needs To Know
Tumblr media
It also serves several functions to facilitate the religious ceremony. It is a place where individuals go to seek blessings from the Lord so that their family can thrive in their new home. It also functions as a ceremony of opposing the blessings, removing the ill energies from the area and welcoming good energies into the home. In this rite of passage, which takes place on a Panchang day, a Hindu day of worship designated by a priest, homeowners pray for the Lord's blessings to be bestowed upon their new home. The purpose of this post is to explore the tips and significance of Griha Pravesha and the house-warming ritual.
Griha Pravesh Puja, the first step towards a happy and prosperous life in the new home, should be conducted on an appropriate date. Furthermore, it may be required to consult a priest or refer to the panchang (Moon Tables) to identify the best date and time for the ritual (muhurta). Such people consider the location of stars in astrology to choose days that are favourable for the zodiac sign and the fortunate star, or nakshatra, to ensure that the planet has a greater effect over new events.

Organize Your Life With Astrology 🗂️
Tumblr media
Most of the knowledge that we can accessibly find online on Astrology is usually related to self knowledge or self development, but not necessarily the ways that we can apply cosmic knowledge to benefit our day to day.
There’s a series of tips I’m actively working on, and results I’m looking forward to sharing soon that have me all giddy and excited. Now, today in particular it will be about a topic that is far from new, yet shouldn’t be overlooked when learning Vedic Astrology. To me this is Panchang, specifically, the Nakshatra of where the Moon is located in on a daily basis.
Just with these two concepts, you'll be able to completely change your everyday life from stagnant to fluid, but first, let me briefly explain these terms below 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Tumblr media
Panchang is the astrological daily calendar based on the Indian calendar. It is one of the most popular reference for astrologers and people of the Hindu community who rely on a day's planetary position to determine auspicious timing, festivals, etc. Nakshatras on the other hand, are the 27 lunar mansions or sectors along the ecliptic which delivers us unique and specific lessons through the stories of its ruling deities.
In general, Panchang and nakshatrashas have a lot of information that requires a certain comprehension of India's culture and religion, so I do not advise blindly jumping into making any assumptions without informing yourself properly.
In order to start applying Vedic astrology in an efficient yet respectful manner start by paying attention to the daily nakshatra, learning a bit about its general information, and noting down the situations that occur in your daily life that aligns with the themes of said lunar mansion.
For example:
Between July 9th-10th I was feeling a strong urge of unwinding and relaxing in a spa, but wasn't sure about what day would be best for it. I immediately looked up the Moon's nakshatra and saw that it was in Leo, specifically in Purva Phalguni nakshatra which is ruled by Venus. The themes of this lunar mansion are all about marriage, relaxation, luxury, resting, music, relationships, art, celebrities, etc.
Once I saw the favorable activities of this nakshatra and noticed how it aligned perfectly with what I already wanted to do, I said "f*ck it" and chose a random Spa that I felt called to. Mind you, this decision making occurred quickly, and once I got the place I had the best experience ever! 10/10 all across the board. The staff, design, amenities, treatments, building, and even other clients doing some procedures like me were amazing. It was exactly what I needed.
Even the aesthetic of the entire spa matched perfectly the Leo and Venus energy the day was exuding. Take a look for yourself and make your own judgement 🤭✨ Royal blues, women sculptures, beautiful architecture and interior design. Even the sunlight entering fully through the entire space screams Leo ♌️🔥 with a Venus twist.
Tumblr media
Now, think of all the moments where you’ve had to doubt yourself from what to do or how to arrange your week/month/year as best as possible. Well, staying in tune with the Moon's nakshatras (and Tithi's but that will be a topic for another entry) will prove to be a huge game changer in your life.
In Vedic Astrology, the Moon is one the (if not the most) important planetary influence when it comes to our mind and bodies. We can see immediate results within our near environment and ourselves (when aspecting your inner planets). So, once you're able to apply through actions everything you've learned and observed about nakshatras, your life will start aligning with the best possible results. You’re no longer unaware of how to make your everyday experience positive, no matter how big or small.
Hope this information becomes useful for those who aren't familiarized with it, eager to continue learning, but not sure how to apply it in practical terms. Remember to always stay curious! Experiment, test, and repeat until you feel confident on how to navigate your life while using any tool.
¡IMPORTANT!
I’m currently working towards paying off (3k left) my recent M.A degree in Psychology, so I will be open for all type of readings until I can meet that goal. Accomplishing this would be a huge milestone for me, and I truly appreciate in advance anyone that's interested in booking readings or showing support. Click here for more information about my services!
Also, if you'd like an artistic and personalized (to match your chart’s energy) Panchang calendar that has the Tithi's, daily nakshatras, favorable or unfavorable activities, and any other specific insights that could help you organize your days/weeks/months better all in one aesthetically pleasing way, DM me! 🌹✨

To Receive the Blessings and Grace of Ancestors, Follow These Simple Remedies on Somvati Amavasya
**To Receive the Blessings and Grace of Ancestors, Follow These Simple Remedies on Somvati Amavasya**
According to the Hindu Panchang, the Amavasya (New Moon) of the Bhadrapada month will begin on September 2 at 5:21 AM and end on September 3 at 7:24 AM. Therefore, Somvati Amavasya will be observed on Monday, September 2.
In Sanatan Dharma, Amavasya holds special significance, especially when it falls on a Monday, which is observed as a festival. Because this Amavasya falls on a Monday, it is called Somvati Amavasya. This year, the rare combination of Somvati Amavasya in September is occurring. On the occasion of Somvati Amavasya, taking a bath in holy rivers during the Brahma Muhurat and offering charity is believed to bring the blessings of ancestors.
Married women especially observe a fast on this day for the long life of their husbands, which brings happiness to their children. With the auspicious combination of Somvati Amavasya in Bhadrapada, if you seek the blessings of your ancestors, here are the correct date, significance, and remedies to follow.
According to astrology and the Hindu Panchang, the Amavasya of Bhadrapada month will begin on September 2 at 5:21 AM and will end on September 3 at 7:24 AM. Therefore, Somvati Amavasya will be observed on Monday, September 2. This will be the Amavasya of the Bhadrapada month. It is said that performing Shradh, Tarpan, and Pind Daan for ancestors on this day removes all sorrows and sufferings from life.
**Brahma Muhurat**: From 4:38 AM to 5:24 AM.
**Puja Muhurat**: From 6:09 AM to 7:44 AM.
**What to Do on Amavasya?**
The day of Somvati Amavasya is considered dedicated to ancestors and Lord Shiva. On this day, take a bath in a holy river before sunrise. After that, mix raw milk with curd and honey and perform Abhishek (ritual bathing) of Lord Shiva. Light a four-faced ghee lamp and recite the Shiva Chalisa. If women observe a fast on this day, it protects their marriage from any troubles and ensures the growth of their family. Additionally, it removes obstacles in their work, and incomplete tasks get accomplished.
On Somvati Amavasya, after bathing in a holy river, offer water to the Sun God. Also, feed fish with dough balls and offer flour to ants. Plant trees like Peepal, Banyan, Banana, and Tulsi, which are believed to be the abodes of deities. It is believed that these actions on Somvati Amavasya please the ancestors, bringing happiness and prosperity into life.

The Choghadiya or Chogadia is a tool used to determine the best timing to begin a new project. Because of its simplicity, Choghadiya can be used for any muhurtha, although it is traditionally used for travel muhurthas. To begin an auspicious work, Amrit, Shubh, Labh, and Char are the four nice Choghadiya. Avoid the three awful Choghadiya, Rog, Kaal, and Udveg.
Day Choghadiya is the period of time between sunrise and sunset, while night Choghadiya is the period of time between sunset and the next day's sunrise. A component of the Vedic Hindu calendar, Panchang, is Choghadiya Muhurat. In Hindi, "Cho" signifies "four," "Ghadi" means "clock," and "Choghadiya" adds out to 96 minutes. The Choghadiya is an antiquated method of measuring time in India that is about equal to twenty-four minutes.
To begin an auspicious work, Amrit, Shubh, Labh, and Char are the four nice Choghadiya. Avoid the three awful Choghadiya, Rog, Kaal, and Udveg.
