Please tell us about your new camera!
It's a Panasonic Lumix GX80!
My old Canon EOS 450D is starting to really show its age, plus it's a really bulky camera, so I wanted something smaller and lighter! A Youtuber I found (Teo Crawford) uses the GX80 so I was convinced to buy it after seeing his photos!
I got a pretty standard zoom lens for it, as well as a 45mm prime, both by Olympus (sorry I don't remember the exact models, lens names are so forgettable x_x)
My new whole "ethos" in photography is to not worry about taking amazing photos, but to just relax and enjoy it; all handheld with minimal gear ^_^
(Though for the GX80 I would recommend you buy extra batteries, it feels like it drains real quick!)

i got a mirrorless camera!!!
finally made a decision! (seriously been sort of looking into it for like months and months). still insecure about it. spend way much money, eek.
also not used to all the settings and controls. can’t change the aperture on a phone, so that’s new. feeling kind of overwhelmed/like i’m a super bad photographer atm, yay! gonna try some more stuff in a bit though.
also yesterday went to a party which was nice. also was super down afterwards though because just.. well depression and feeling like a failure and not knowing how to finish uni and then to get a job and stuff. felt way more down than i have for a while, so that was fuuuun. also might have to do with how i slept very little/not well for 2 days because i had a bad cold. luckily that’s been way better and got some sleep and stuff.
