Helping Mahmoud Khalaf's Family:

"Dear free lovers and supporters of Palestine!

This is Mahmoud Khalaf, a PhD student in Ireland, from Gaza.

With a broken fear-stricken heart, I am voicing an urgent plea for help in getting my family out of the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, which turned into the most unlivable ghost city in history because of the war.

It breaks their hearts to pieces to even think about evacuating from Gaza where they have lived their entire lives and have had unnumberable beautiful memories. Throughout the six months of the ravaging war in Gaza, the 8 members of my family have been displaced four times in the Gaza Strip seeking every avenue to escape imminent death. At one time, my family barely escaped death when sniper bullets hit the house where they sought refuge, and thank God no one of the children was injured. The children and adults alike had to crawl on the floor to move from one room to another to minimize the risk of getting a bullet in the head or chest. They saw flashbacks before their eyes from their journey in life and thought: "This is the end. Here is where everyone in this family dies." I am always sick worried about the children and thinking: "Should not they be playing football or hide and seek instead of trying to hide from Israeli sniper bullets?"

However, I will not save a breath in trying to protect my family and secure a joyous prosperous future for our children. With your generous donations, my family will leave famine, death, and destruction in Gaza and get into Egypt hopefully temporarily until the war is over. The Egyptian authorities require 5000 dollars for each adult individual who wants to get into Egypt and half that amount from children. The money will be used for the coordination fees with the Egyptian Hala travel agency to get my family to safety in Egypt. The remainder of the money will be used for daily supplies and living expenses in Egypt."

Thank ❤ you 🖤 so 💚 much 🍉 for ✌ being 🤍 generous 🌷and 🇵🇸 kind for those people of Gaza 💔 who urgently need your help and support. Months of hard and tough living conditions have left all families of Gaza hopeless and incapable of leading their life. All this has explicitly happened as a result of the damned unfair war over the innocent civilians of Gaza. Houses, possessions, belongings and businesses have vanished and been swept away. No more livelihood sources exist. Consequently the life of sufferings and hardship have begun since then. Food, medicine 💊 , clean drink 🚱 water , health care, and other necessities of a normal life no longer exist in the way that we can get them. Life is still sad 😔 and dire and this gets us desperate and pessimistic over the unclear future.

Despite the tragedy and sorrow that we have been undergong for all these incredibly harsh days, some people come to attack and criticize us as criminals and scammers. Are we scammers because we are seeking peace and safety for our families after we had been forcibly displaced and therefore we lost everthing we used to have over the past years? How 🤔 can we convince you that we are leading the worst and harshest days a person can experience! IT IS A DISASTROUS WAR, DEARS !

I have been accidently attacked by a nasty person, accusing the people of Gaza of being scammers and not deserving life as human beings.

But we have breat trust and belief in you that you can respond to such nasty and disgusting beasts by supporting the fair cause of Palestine and its people. I wanna tell those people that the Gazans are not the scammers, but you are the killers of children and innocent civilians.

The people of Gaza are well educated and were brought up well but the unfair war has forced them to ask others' help and support. The incredibly and unbelievably harsh conditions have created new characters of us.

I am asking you , my friend , to keep spreading our true 👍 words to the free world, telling them that we deserve life under any sort of circumstances. You are our voice and our last ❤ hope as we vehemently need you in our dire time.
