re: your tags on your latest post. i do think it's somewhat semicanon that chuutan and juri were the ones that dressed hiyori up to meet nagisa because of this particular tmk art right here. it's not "official", but it was made by an official artist, so it's kinda so and so

it shows hiyori in her yellow hoodie, which both according to the anime and the mvs, is what she planned on wearing for the concert. thinking now since the anime had lxl do it bc "nagisa" was an ft4 fan (i think i may be misremembering this bit) i wonder what spurred the girls to dress her up for the occassion (even funnier to consider nagisa was wearing a hoodie too)

i want to believe that they’re the ones who helped hiyori dress up for her visit home in kimikawaii soooo bad. nagisa said “you met someone without me knowing” in it, and since he doesn’t personally know chizu and juri, it kinda checks out, since he wouldn’t technically be incorrect. she did meet her besties without him being aware of it, and they’re both super fashionable (juri as always, and chizu in chuutan mode), so they’re definitely capable of helping her to become more cute.

and it’d be a very cute show of their friendship too! they don’t get much time to be besties together onscreen (aside from a few mv stills and that one and only sleepover honeypre event), since juri’s songs are all about kodai and chizu’s are either about her past, aizo, her job, aizo, being cute, aizo, or more aizo. c’mon juri and chizuutan pls help your bestie meet with her bf—

also bc i think it’d be very funny if hiyori went home looking all cute (after a makeover from her besties) to meet with nagisa, knowing that he likes her, all while slowly growing feelings for him since his confession. but then nagisa’s just like “??? who did you meet??? you look cute, yes, but???” so she goes “aight im out”, believing that she didn’t get the reaction she was hoping for despite nagisa internally combusting right in front of her, and the nghy long-distance miscommunication lives on

J'habite dans l'aéroport. Tu me manques. Tu me manques. Tu me manques.

Ma 73ème lecture a été le roman Station Eleven, roman de Emily St.John Mandel, que j'ai décidé de lire après une affection forte pour la série qui en est l'adaptation (alors même que je n'ai jamais fini la série) !

Résumé: Le monde tel que nous le connaisson a disparu depuis 20 ans. Ne reste plus qu'une partie infime de la population, répartie en petites populations, certaines hostiles, certaines ouvertes aux autres. Au milieu de tout ça, la Symphonie Itinérante, groupe d'acteurs et musiciens suivant un même trajet depuis toujours, offrant à l'humanité un fragment du passé et une lueur d'espoir, au travers d'interprétations des pièces de Shakespeare.

CW/TW : Meurtres, suicides, sectes, violences religieuses, mention de pédophilie, pandémie, amnésie post-traumatique, cadavres etc...

Bon sang, qu'est-ce que c'était bien!

Fun fact, si j'ai cité It's the end of the world as we know it (And I feel fine) du groupe R.E.M, ce n'est pas parce que je suis dans une tendresse pour le Visiteur du Futur, mais bien parce que le roman lui-même y fait référence.

Dans ce roman, nous voyageons dans le temps (pas comme dans le VDF). Nous vivons la fin de notre monde et accompagnons les survivants le long des deux décennies qui suivent, en revenant dans le temps au fur et à mesure, et même en revenant jusqu'à vingt ans avant la fin du monde. Nous ne suivons pas une histoire de pandémie, nous suivons l'histoire de personnes qui ont appris à vivre, et pour qui notre monde et celui qui le suit ne sont que des marches à grimper dans l'avancée de leur vie.

Ce ne sont pas des héros, des sauveurs, et ce ne sont pas seulement des survivants, nos protagonistes sont avant tout et surtout des personnes qui aiment et incarnent la Vie. Et il y a un plaisir de se rendre compte de la façon dont ces personnes qui ne se connaissent pas sont liées, par des liens humains, certes, mais surtout dans leur humanité.

Ce roman est une pépite. Il n'est pas extraordinaire, bien sûr, je ne le mettrai pas au niveau d'autres qui m'ont porté aux larmes ou secoué, mais c'est une lecture géniale, superbe, et je le recommande tout à fait.

Et si vous n'avez pas vu la série, regardez-la aussi. Avant, après, comme vous le souhaitez. Et si vous l'avez vue, n'hésitez pas à lire le roman. La série ne se contente pas d'être une adaptation. Elle interprète, elle imagine, elle incarne le message du roman. La série et le roman sont la même œuvre mais pas réellement, ce sont aussi deux œuvres différentes, et vous pouvez tout aussi bien apprécier l'une comme l'autre de façon indépendante.

C'était bien, c'était très cool, je l'ai adoré. N'hésitez surtout pas!
