PPGZ G/T Ideas

– Three girls are giants due to an experiment gone wrong by one of the villains of New Townsville or due to Chemical Z

– Momoko (Hyper Blossom), Miyako (Rolling Bubbles), and Kaoru (Powered Buttercup) have become 50ft tall to Kaiju-sized superheroines and are as big as the buildings of New Townsville.

– They are 13-year-old Teenage girls who are grown huge and are excited to be Kaiju-sized Giants but also experience some of the downsides of gigantic power puffs.

– Momoko would be the leader of the Giants, Miyako is the cute one of the group and Kaoru is the huge tough girl on the team.

– They also fight villains from the Series like Mojo Dojo, Him, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and others.

– Plz they also fight other villains from the Anime.

– They also have to learn how to find a cure for their Kaiju Height problem and Professor and his son Ken can also find a way for the Kaiju-Sized Girls to shrink back to their OG height.

– This Idea was based on the Anime adaptation of Powerpuff girls. Powerpuff Girls Z in Japan.

– There is a lack of fanart of the Girls as Giants. Both the OG Series and Anime.

– I just think that they are cute at any height. I am such a nerd.

– The Series is created by Craig McCracken and Cartoon Network.

This is the second redraw of the first time I drew my beloved RRBZ.

I really love to see my progress in the art and see how little by little I'm feeling more and more comfortable with my art style, as it's getting closer and closer to what I was looking for from the beginning. 💥🧠💉

PS: The Rowdy are a reflection of my rise to madness...

I’ve been slowly encouraging myself to add fanfiction to my AO3 account, instead of just Original Works that I have no other place to put them. It is a, I wouldn’t say retelling, maybe a reimagining?, of the PowerPuff story. Mainly, exploring what could happen in their adult lives. What would happen to all the superheroes and villians if they grew up? If the cycle they lived in became too boring, too repetative.

The story does blend in other Cartoon Network characters, mainly just in name. This is primarily a PPG story, with original characters to add more voices to the story. I do pull characters and storylines from PPGZ, however, what I’ve taken, I’ve also changed to fit the timeline of the story. 

The story will follow the Puffs and Ruffs, with each chapter following a specific character. 

I would like to go in deep to what I have planned, but that would mean spoiling the story before I’ve even started it. I should add, it will be a hot minute before the story picks up. Between work, mental health, and the affects that has on motivation, the story is on an unstable hiatus. The chapters will be released as I complete them. But I do hope you’ll have a peak, see if it interests you.

Townsville has fallen into a routine, a routine that allows everyone to carry on with their lives, without fear of property damage and mess that comes with housing three superheroes and a handful of villains. Townsville has moved on, grown-up.

It’s been four years into the new mayor’s run, and Townsville has experienced its most devastating natural disaster yet. Amidst the chaos, loss, and devastation, an unknown monster is believed to be terrorising Townsville's underworld, and killing gang members. Those retired are now forced to return to a life put away.

It's been five, nearly six, years since the Blue PowerPuff disappeared. The Utonium Family still hopes, but have moved on with their lives. The Powerpuff Girls and RowdyRuff Boys are stories now; Just like the Villains of Old. Now they live as normally as they can, working and raising their own. That normality ends with the past returns and hidden forces reveal themselves.

I just got struck with the memory of how I used to watch slideshow stories recorded and put in youtube of the ppgz when I was 12....and like. I was a rabid consumer of this stuff and even tried making it myself and i never succeeded. I was so rabid in fact that youtube STILL suggests me ppgz slideshows. I even learned a bit of spanish specifically to consume these slideshows. I also had read ALL fanfic on the topic off of wattpad and fanfiction dot net.

Also! Egg moment! I wanted to be a rowdy ruff boy SO BAD. My self insert was named Bash! And he was the MIDNIGHT blue rrb and also he started off as a girl but I changed him to a boy later. His twin was the white rrb Blast. But ALSO his counterpart was the light yellow ppg known as Rika and her ppg name was blitz. I embraced this identity so fucking hard that my roblox name is a reference to this. Along with my password.

That self insert evolved into Maurice, and Rika, well he kept his name. And also became a boy. I had a single thought about these two boys kissing to Alluring Secret covered by Razzy and oh my goodness it changed the trajectory of my life. 12 year old me was like, "I know they're both girls but like he turns into a boy later..." and lightbulb. Lightbulb.lightbulb.lightbulb!!! Nevermind the fact that the rrbs and ppgs being gendered mirrors of each other is such an idea to pop out at young trans kids. It wasn't its intent but it definitely allowed for introspection.

Also. Here is a glimpse into my watch later playlist because I never ever cleared it simply for the memories. These are ALL the ppgz stories I absolutely needed to watch, before I stumbled into ouran host cub and noragami.

Also shoutout to that one person that drew brick winking with his tongue out and a rock sign. They CARRIED this media on the BACK. I would love to meet them.

Also at this time I was writing oko ruto x reader fanfiction on wattpad and doing NUMBERS. If that wasn't a damn sign idk what is.

So to celebrate reaching 200 followers, I decided to share some more old gangreen gang art with you guys! All of these are from 2009 and 2010, when I first officially joined the fandom

So these are some of the earliest drawings I have of these three. They are heavily referenced from official images, as I was mostly practicing how to draw them. I never ended up drawing Billy or Grubber though rip

Back in the day the only notable AU the fandom had was this edgy pirate AU with steampunk elements that involved the PPGZ version of the gang, and by the gang I mean mostly Ace and Snake lol. This was fanart I made for the creator (a moment of silence for all the colored pencils I obliterated while making this)

Fun fact: the origin story fanfic I’m working on originally started out as a comic. That was being done traditionally…Needless to say it didn’t last long 😂 I can’t post a full page here without cringing so uh, have some choice panels

Wondering if anyone remembers that weird magical girl anime version of the Powerpuff girls that came out that I had no idea was an anime, I thought it was just some kind of alternative universe spin off, I was very confused at the time when I look fanfics for it and has different Japanese names for the characters since they keep the original ones in the dub.

If I could reboot

Now I know reboots of classic and beloved shows of our youth are technically looked down on in certain fanbases for arguably good reasons. But here me out I’ve been thinking and pondering on something a question of which was “If I could reboot a show, what would it be? What would I change and what would I keep?, and the most important one of all how would it still feel like the original show or series and not step too far into fanfic territory?” ( and with that I mean your just doing your own thing and straying real far from the source material.)

So for what I came up with was if I could I would give the Powerpuff Girls another try. I know the 2016 version is one that is not in particularly loved especially by me & on top of that I didn’t really watch the show I just saw a couple of clips and from what I saw I didn’t really care for it. Which kind of saddens me because I loved the intro that CN released for the show when it was announced that they were brining them back. And also I love the PPG’S a whole bunch. So much so that when I found out that there was an anime version of the PPG’S I instantly wanted to watch it and luckily YouTube hade a couple of episodes uploaded and some were even dubbed which was helpful.

 And let me tell you I also loved the anime versions of these girls and the changes they made for them. I mean yeah at first when I watched it I was a little taken aback with what they have changed but to me they weren't that jarring. I liked how they weren’t really sisters and how they became a cute friends, I liked that they went the route of them being “magical girls” and transforming into the hero selves. On top of it all to me at least it still felt like it was the Powerpuff girls, nothing was too different that would have me to dislike or hate it. 

But what where here to talk about is what I would do if I was to revive this show. What I would do is combine the original Powerpuff Girls & Powerpuff Girls Z. Keep the 60s modern feel for setting and have the characters designs simple but close to an anime artstyle. Like for example Magical DoReMi’s style or say Studio Triggers style. Have the backgrounds in watercolor like in Sailor Moon or any old studio Ghibli movie. For concept we can take form PPGZ by having the girls 1) not be related. 2) have them hit by piece of an asteroid that landed near Townsville. 3) have the Professor be their gradian for helping them with their powers. 4) keep magical girls aspect of the show. What to take from the original PPG would be 1) their names. 2) their Villans. 3) setting ex: Townsville, USA. 4) Characters in general. 5) the girls personalities. 6) professor being single & a scientist. 

What would I add would have to be 1) I would add some characters from the ‘16 reboot. only because I feel like they could be better characters if written and handled well. For ex. Sapna  or even Bliss ( the one many didn’t like because of how she felt like a character the art directors kids made and forced the team and working staff to write a story about her and put her in the show.) But like I said she could be interesting if handled better. For me she is another super who works for Dick Hardly who works as an agent or sponsor for hero's in Townsville. 2) some characters from PPGZ.  3)  an monster island for where the monsters live not to far from the city. 4) other hero’s that were in the old show maybe some from the 2016 show (maybe) 5) an agency that sponsor's hero’s 

For the most part that's what I have in mind I might post some drawings that I have been working on. As well as more on this concept maybe get into more detail, but for now that’s it. If anyone has any suggestions or wants to answer the question of what they would reboot I would like to hear it.

PPGZ is a weird one for me because when it was at its most relevant on the internet, I couldn't find it anywhere

It was the "episodes in 3 parts on youtube" era, but for some reason no one uploaded PPGZ

I'm sure I could find it way more easily now, but I just don't care at this point. Maybe I will again someday, but I can't summon the energy for it amidst all of the other things I have to worry about

It was rainy night in autumn and I had an argument with my brothers. I needed to be alone and clear my mind, I was soaked but i didnt care at all. Then she appear I immediately recognize her I never thought I would see her again but here she stands like an angel. She probably didn't recognize me, becuase she wouldn’t care for a villain like me to get soaked and also we haven’t seen each other for more than 12 years. Back at that time we always fight each other and her eyes always hunted my dreams that’s why i thought i hate her. At that night I realize that my feelings for her were never hateful.
