Graduation party time! As relieved as all three of them are to be graduating and moving on, I think in the long run they’ll look back on this period of their lives with fond nostaligia!

Gunnar and Mickey both stick around for a bit after the party, notionally to help tidy up. Jas has always liked Mickey! He’s so easy going and chill you never have anything to worry about.

Not a bad night out! Other elders like Beulah Land were there, and Coral even gets a chance to put her “irresistible” trait to good use and get her flirt on.

Angela emerges from the photobooth more confused about her love life than ever. Dating around was fun and all, but maybe at some point she needed to grow up? She did miss the companionship of an actual relationship. But there were so many guys she loved! How was she supossed to pick one? What if she picked wrong?

Gunnar feels none of this conflict, as far as I can see. Just pleased with himself & one step closer to that “20 woohoos” goal. (I can’t remember if it’s his actual LTW, but he does roll it pretty frequently.)

Anyway, in literally the most chaotic Angela move I’ve seen yet, she screws John Mole in same the photo-booth while Gunnar is using the bathroom. JFC, Ange.

Dustin, however, is bothered. He was so stupid to think that moment at Lilith’s party meant anything. Why the hell did he keep setting himself up to get his heart broken over and over?

Okay, there’s “the thrill of maybe being caught” and there’s “literally making out while John Mole, one of your other flames, performs karaoke right next to you”. They head to the photobooth for a little more privacy.

Candy: You’re a little younger than I’d usually go for. I like providers, y’know? Guys who help take care of me.

Ashley: Haha, that’s an interesting way of saying “gold-digger”.

Candy: Watch it, kid. If I was a real gold digger I could have easily married rich. I’m poor by choice.

Ashley: Huh, really?

Candy: Yeah! My baby-daddy’s pretty loaded. I mentioned I’m a mom, right? you saw me with Rose at the store.

Ashley: Oh, cool, right. I guess I can see it gets tiring being the provider all the time and you like to relax once in a while.

Candy: Exactly.

Ashley: What made you decide not to marry her dad?

Candy: I dunno, I guess I didn’t want Rose growing up in that kind of environment. There are more important things than money...

Gunnar: So, ever woohoo’d in public?

Angela: Never had the pleasure. It was always on my bucket list, but the fear of getting caught...

Gunnar: Are you kidding? The risk is part of the thrill!

Gunnar: So, tell me about the ruins! Have you met any of the archeologists?

Angela: Oh, you’d probably find it pretty boring.

Gunnar: Uh, no. I’m a history guy, remember? This is my shit!

Angela: Haha, why didn’t you move to Desiderata, then?

Gunnar: Look, you said it yourself, it’s all married sims with kids. It’s just not a fertile ground for a young romance sim like myself.

Poor Gunnar, his dreams of a career in music are dashed already!

Or not. Turns out he actually just got demoted, rather than fired. Could be worse.

Oh, it gets better. Demoted but with higher wages? Not bad. Maybe he can make this work.

Gunnar: Sorry, sorry. It’s just, you look just like-

Lilith: Oh for fuck’s sake. Let me guess, you hooked up with my sister?

Gunnar: Sister? Right, yeah, that probably explains it. Well, this is kind of awkward.

Lilith: You’re telling me, dude.

Gunnar has a want to go on a date, and I figured he hasn’t seen Angela Pleasant in a while. (When sims have multiple love interests and a generic date-want, I usually look at their wants and fears to try and decide who they should ask out, or else I just roll a dice! This was a dice-date.)

Angela: A rose? Aww. I’m not used to this level of romance from you!

Gunnar: What do you mean? I’m a very romantic guy!

Angela: Heh, I can see that. It’s really nice to see you again, Gunnar.
