Can I just say that Gordon's harmonies in "I'd Rather Be Sailing" mean so much to me?! Ohhh myyy...

The whole song is amazing, but I think that Gordon narrating his thoughts in a song that explicitly belongs to Roger, while in every song that belongs to him, either Mr. Bungee or the rest of the cast does is kind of poignant.

Like, the only time he can bring himself to think about something from another person's point of view is when it affects/impacts him to some degree.

The way he victimizes himself throughout the whole musical is just so interesting, and in spite of his many issues, I adore Gordon Michael Schwinn (also, feeling like you are of lesser concern/importance to the people you care about is a feeling I know very intimately, so that's even more points in this song's favor lol).

Its a shitty (affectionate) (amazing) (I was obsessed with it as a kid and rekindled that obsession) pirate movie where our main guy Sinbad plays at being a librarian and has to track down the goddess of chaos because she has a book she IS NOT supposed to have.
