they definitely give me the vibe of like. people who are perfectly competent on their own but when they're together they lose all of their braincells. like that scene in arcane when jayce and vi work together and use the power of friendship to shoot the weapon and then MISS?? that's castorice and phainon. they have regular sleepovers where they do face masks and gossip about the other chrysos heirs. they watch campy horror movies and throw popcorn at each other. they trade squishmallows. they make blue and purple friendship bracelets that they never take off. they sneak ice cream sandwiches out of the freezer when aglaea isn't looking. they stick marshmallow peeps in the microwave just to watch them explode. they text each other at random hours of the day with out-of-pocket questions because they know the other will always respond. they're both each other's escape when castorice feels she's unloveable because of her powers, and phainon doubts in his ability to fulfill the prophecy. for a second they can just be two goofy best friends doing goofy best friend things, without feeling the weight of an entire planet on their shoulders.

-My opinion about the whole comic

I know I'm going to let my hopes up after this final but, they're promising me to break the cycle in favor of their relationship!!!

Of course I wanted at least a kiss (we only have 3 in the 616, THREE for the last 60 years!!!) but them holding hands it's just>>>

And I feel like this is the comic for us the stans of this ship, the action part of the plot is just the tool to made us understand them, their relationship, showing us exactly why this is THE ship. It's all about they knowing each other better than anyone.

It's about how they care about the other more than anyone, more than themselves.

(Plus one of the 2014's Hawkeye.)

It's about how they're tired of being in a cycle as much as we the readers are.

It's about how they love each other, more than anything, more than anyone but they're afraid of what that means, because of their past and lives.

And how they're going to face that fear together because of their love and all that makes me 😭😭😭😭😭

Just look at them, they're so happy 😭😭😭

I'm so scared cause this was so cute and wholesome and it could mean nothing because it's Marvel, the ones who gave us the "I would do anything for her, trust again everytime and never let her go." to then years later marry him with Bobbi, so, I'll try to keep my hopes down.

Of course this is about how they're already practically married too.
