I have... given John Allerdyce more siblings. I mean, I already headcanon'd that they exist, before I even thought of Ryland, but I had no intention of giving them faces or names. 😐

Meet Arlo Allerdyce, the eldest, and 6 years older than John! After his youngest siblings "died" in a house fire when he was 19, he felt like he'd failed them, and he's been a wee too much on the bottle since then.

Meet Zara Allerdyce, the second eldest, 3 years younger than Arlo! The fire incident had her fucked up, and she's been having hallucinations on & off ever since, mostly seeing John and Ryland at random places.

having thoughts about gaz and soap maybe sharing a little kiss after a risky mission because of the mix of adrenaline, relief and fear that the other is okay.

a "thank god we made it" kiss that both of them agree was definitely the result of heightened feelings and will never happen again. except they both think about it for days afterwards.

and then maybe that "thank god we're alive kiss" ends up being a "okay we're both tipsy but not drunk" kiss when they're coming back from the pub. they both blame the beer and say that they're drunker than they actually are.

maybe that "tipsy but not drunk-drunk" kiss turns into a "fuck you're so stupidly hot when you're mad" kiss after one of them witnesses the other lose their cool. maybe it's a "fuck you i can look out for myself" kiss. maybe it's a "i know you can, but you're mine to look out for" kiss.

maybe i'm just thinking about soap and gaz necking and frotting up against each other in one of their rooms, spit slick and desperate for friction.

William steps out of a room after a busy prefect meeting and takes a deep breath. The Gryffindor Head Girl gave him trouble again by trying to convince everyone that she is better suited to run Halloween event this year. Well, Will be damned if—! Wait...

It coincidentally happens that the new 5th year is passing the prefect by in the corridor at that moment and Will catches a faint smell of... No way, he looked all over Nosy's nest in search for his lavender soap!

"Ah, excuse me, —," Will begins and then realizes that the student's name completely slipped from his memory. "My fellow lavender friend. Did you by any chance come into possession of one bar of new lavender soap recently?"

The Slytherin doubts anyone would steal Will's soap on purpose, so Nosy has to somehow be involved! Where is that little menace smuggling the soaps? He's playing with the prefect! Who knows, perhaps even— No, Nosy wouldn't run around, rubbing Will's soap all over people just to exasperate Will... Would he?

Will gives the other student a quick once-over in case he spots any soap stains anywhere.

"I don't mean to sound weird with the question. It is indeed a great choice for a soap."

Uh oh, surely this prefect didn’t know it was him and a fellow Slytherin boy that brought down the gargantuan brass chandelier last week!

When the topic was brought to the soap he breathed a little sigh of relief.

“It’s a lovely scent isn’t it? I was just gifted this soap and on my way to try some but I can break you off a piece if you like”
