Y'all I had a dream.

It's so crazy, it would only be compared to a Hopping High Mad Hatter.

OMFG.

This dream starts out okay like I'm with my friends and holy shit, we looked amazing. (Like why can't I be this gorgeous irl!?) I think we all got a glow up. You guys were there too! Y'all were in the front desk and we're wearing suits.(You definitely could have snagged your bais's in even with out the suits. Just saying.) You two also have to halfs of a crown. Like a gold Laurel wreath tucked behind A and B's right and left ear respectively.(I can tell you apart cuz A had a lip ring!)

And holy shit we are transported to this beautiful gymnasium that's was decorated with these whimsical balls of glitter and the ribbons seemed to dance on their own. Good God, I want to go there just for the scenery.

Then the dream flashbacks to yesterday. Omg that gymnasium was suddenly the most disgusting thing I had ever seen. We were called in to clean. And apparently so was BTS. Intersting. We are seperated into a girl's and boys line. And BTS is obviously, in the other line. Mr.K, one of my teachers from America, comes and grabs Tae. But something's is wrong. He's really....small? Like he's a traniee again! What!? But I could not even read a book when that happened. Then I realised, somehow, I really don't know how, I screwed with the time line. I was having a mental breakdown, cuz I wasn't supposed to do that. It's as if I already knew I made a mistake but did it any way. I could see all the members. They were all teens and so was I. Jungkook was still so small and Namjoon had blond hair. Jimin was taller that Jk but we all know how long that lasted. Yoongi was very skinny and kinda pale and had a bandana tied to his head. Jin was still prettier that me as a teenager. Hobi still had a smile that could generate solar energy. And Tae was still an alein with a boxy smile.

We finish decorating and the boy's come over to hand us all an ice cream, and poor jungkook had to go to the girls line. We were all distracted by screen, but not me. When kookie came to give me mine, I did a litte bow and said (네, 감사합니다) which means (Yes, Thank you.) He was surprised I said thank you, and I was surprised that he was surprised (inseption). And he goes over to call his hyungs. They all walk over to me and me along with them are transported to a room whose only noteworthy point is white. Literally. It's so boring it's giving me anxiety. All the boys are now adults and so am I since I screwed with the time line.(Good job🤦) And holy mother of God. Not to brag or anything but adult me...she is hot as hell.

you spoke to, in person? I think it was my sister, like earlier at 1 AM. She was the last person apart from me to head upstairs for bed.

went swimming? Think it may have been my Nasugbu trip with Angela, Sofie, and Gabie back in August 2019.

got a sunburn? Idk man, when I was 8? I stopped getting sunburns as I got older.

went to church or temple? The last Sunday in March before the lockdown started.

went shopping? I did my final around of Christmas shopping last month for friends I still had to give presents to.

drank alcohol? Sometime last month after my work shift, following back-to-back meetings with my least favorite client.

smoked a cigarette? Feb last year, I think. I don’t buy cigarettes of my own and I’m also a lot more watchful of my cigarette usage, so I haven’t been able to smoke since I haven’t been around a crowd who does. I mostly vape.

threw up? I last felt like throwing up back in May, but I haven’t actualy thrown up in at least a couple of years now.

had a headache? Just this Thursday.

had a cold? No idea.

had the flu? It wasn’t strictly the flu, but I was last sick in May.

had your hair cut? March last year.

dyed your hair? Never done it.

laughed so hard that you cried? It’s happened in at least the past couple of weeks, I’m sure.

and with that question, the movie has come to a close! it’s a fantastic little film that closely follows the book. while i would’ve liked to see julia with winston at o’brien’s and the drunk jail lady, the cutting of the gross parsons scene, the addtion of the bloody mouth scene and the possibly hopeful ending make up for it. overall, this is an amazing adaptation of such a great book! :D

Freaking Out / Eddie Kaspbrak Imagine

Request: Getting tired of me yet? 😂but I need some Eddie fluff after watching chapter 2😭 Can you do one were your at work and Eddie calls you and starts panicking because the baby is sick and then it's like extra fluffy?

The office was painted grey, and it had only one floor-to-ceiling window, which your boss now turned away from to stare at you on the phone, her hands landing with a thump on the grey desk, rumpling a notebook lying open, and a stack of papers sitting under a turtle-shaped paperweight. In a corner a bookshelf was bursting with books with yet another stack of papers under a paperweight that was shaped to look like a tuft of grass. A few pens were lying on the papers, but some had fallen onto the top of the bookshelf.

‘Eddie....Eddie...Eds... EDDIE! Sorry, sorry, hun, jesus christ I love you, but you need to come down. Our baby is fine, she just needs burping. Burping, Eddie.’

‘It’s not a fever, Eddie...no-no it’s not the plague. You know what, I’ll be there in twenty, okay, please don’t burn the house down. Okay, I love you too.’

She raises his hands up in despair as you hang up the phone and fumble it back into your pocket with a breathless gasp.

‘I’m sorry, but I have to go.’

‘I’m sorry I took you home early today y/n, but our daughter was crying and crying all morning, and I was cuddling and singing to her and rocking her in my arms but she wouldn’t stop, so then I fed her and she made this weird gurgling noise, so I thought hey, she just must miss her mom because I sure do, but then her face started burning and I started thinking about my arm and then I started hyperventilating and-’

‘Eddie, Eddie, jesus, would you please calm down?!’

You were too busy fumbling in your bag, trying to find Eddie’s spare aspirator to notice the poor man looked like he was about to faint. His whole complexion had turned a sickly white, nearly see-through, his eyes wide and doe as they swirled their gold specks, his mouth turned down and lips pulled thin as he struggled and battled with his constricting throat to catch his breathe.

‘I’m okay... I’m okay y/n. I promise.’ He reaches out to place his hand against your arm.

‘...Really?’

‘Apple-solutely! I was just so worried about the baby. God, I missed you today.’

Standing in front of you, wavering lightly from side to side, you could see the smaller boy you had fallen in love with, just a little more exhausted looking and with a lot more stubble. He glanced back, wringing his hands in a familiar and subconscious frightened action he hadn’t done since that day at the quarry, glancing down at you, his eyes searching yours, little flickers of gold swirling in their dark mix that you had forgotten about.

His slender fingers come to rest on your hips as he grins slightly to himself, his heart rate beginning to settle down, you watch the summer rays fall through the window and bounce off his face like a halo of light, the walls glittering in the afternoon sun like magic, rays dancing through the warm air like rose petals, the thick smell of freshly coated paint filling your nostrils with the delicate and familiar smell. A sudden flash of terror lines his face as he steps forward towards the cot, his hand resting against the wood as the other swirls the Solar System mobile that rests suspended from the ceiling in magnificent oranges and yellows, you gently rub against his maroon jacket, trying to comfort him.

‘Look, look, isn’t she so beautiful? Looks just like her father.’

Turning towards you, you squeal slightly as you nearly trip over the sheets that line the nursery floor, your socks dancing through the air as Eddie’s thick arms wrap around your waist, lifting you against his thick chest as his fingers glide over your skin, coming to tickle all your sensitive spots as shivers roll over your arms. Nestling his head into your neck, his hair splaying slightly over your cheek, as he pulls you both down onto the floor, he rolls you on top of him, his chest rising and falling heavily with each breath as he gazes up at you tenderly, his fingers clumsily coming up to swipe through your hair as he watches your lips. He raises his face up, his hands coming down to close over your cheeks, encompassing your face entirely, his watch cold against your skin as his lips press gently against yours.

His breath is warm as he whispers, ‘She’s lucky she’s got the most stunning mother though. We both are.’

‘Shhhh’ Eddie nearly shouts at you, his large stout fingers having been totally wrapped around by the baby’s small rice like ones. The baby rests against his polo shirt, their little cream knitted hat hitting lightly against his chest like feathers as he bounces them slightly on his knee, his heart bubbling as they see their little cheek squish against him. You lean down by the coffee table, a bright smile lining your face as you squat, lining up the camera perfectly to capture the moment, immortalising Eddie’s radiant and pride small smile as he gazes down at yours and his baby. His large thumb comes up to stroke tenderly against the baby’s arm, their little onesie soft and fluffy against his shaking fingertips.

You thump down on the sofa next to him, watching him cuddle with your baby almost effortlessly, all the worries of earlier gone. Although Eddie’s hair had grown out a little, flopping around his temple like wilting flowers, and although his eyes were lined with tired wrinkles, red and sore looking, he was still the most beautiful thing you’d ever seen. Your hand moves up to rest against his knee, running slow figure eights over the soft material of his shorts as his head whips around to gaze at you, his eyes glowing in the dim light with such joy your breath catches for a moment, and although you don’t realise it, as the baby starts to gurgle awake, Eddie smiles, believing honestly deep in his stomach nothing in the world could ever beat this moment.

*Jonah’s POV*

Last night with y/n was amazing. I have never met anyone like her. She’s smart, funny, kind and she’s one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Not gonna lie tho, when she pulled away from the kiss, it broke my heart. I know she’s been hurt before but I want to show her that I’m different, that I’ll treat her like a queen. I just hope she gives me a chance to show her that.

“Hey bro, how was the date last night?” Corbyn asked as he walked in the door

“Uh, it was great. We had a great time” I tried to smile

“You don’t seem to sure about that. Did something happen?”

“She uh, pulled away from my kiss” I said shyly.

“YOU TRIED TO KISS HER!?” Corbyn yelled. “Bro you’re going too fast for her, that’s probably why she pulled away”

“You think?” I asked

“Yeah Jo, I remember when Zach took Halie and their first date. He tried to do the same thing and Halie pulled away too. You just have to give it tome. Don’t rush into things. Cause if you do it’ll scare her away.” Corbyn said sincerely

“Thanks man, I appreciate it. I’m not giving up on her. She means too much to me”

“Good. Now give her a call sometime today and see if she wants to hangout again” Corbyn said

“Okay. Good idea” I agreed

*Your POV*

“Hey hun, I’m gonna get some Starbucks want any?” Halie asked as she came into the room waking me up.

“Uh yeah, an iced caramel macchiato please” I said.

“Okay I’ll be right back”

“Thank you!” I called out as Halie was already walking out the door. I decided to get out of bed and brush my hair and teeth. Right as I’m done brushing my teeth my phone starts ringing.

“Hello?” I say without looking at the caller ID

“Hey y/n”

“Jonah? What’s up” I asked

“I um, I had a great night last night and wanted to know if maybe you would want to go on another date with me” Jonah said shyly.

“I had a great time last night too Jo. But um... I-I don’t know if I’m really ready for something like this...” I trailed off.

“Oh” was all Jonah said

“I’m sorry Jonah, you’re a great guy and deserve the best”

“You are the best y/n” Jonah said obviously sounding hurt.

“Jo...” I started but couldn’t finish

“Was it because I tried to kiss you?” He asked

“What? No! I’m just not ready for a relationship.” I explained

“Why not” Jonah asked

“Cause I don’t want to get hurt again”

“Well, I would never hurt you y/n. That’s not the guy I am”

“I’m sorry Jonah...” I said as I hung up the phone. I sat there in silence just looking at my phone. I feel bad but I promised myself that I wouldn’t let myself get hurt again. If that means being single for the rest of my life, then so be it. Halie walked through the door and handed me my Starbucks.

“Thank you” I said, avoiding eye contact.

“What’s wrong?” Halie asked, sounding concerned.

“Jonah called”

“And...?!”

“He asked me on another date, and I told him no.” I said still not looking at Halie. I didn’t want to see her disappointment.

“Why y/n? I thought you had a good time with him” Halie said

“Cause I don’t want to get hurt again Halie! Every guy I let in hurts me. I can’t go through that again. I want to believe Jonah is a good guy, but my walls are too high.” I said as I started to cry

“Oh, y/n” Halie said as she wraps her arms around you and hugs you. “How about this? I’ll call Christina and Gabbie and we can all have a girls night with a bunch of snacks and we’ll watch movies and not think about boys” Halie said trying to cheer me up.

“That would be great, thanks halie” I said as I hugged her back tightly.

“No problem, I’ll go call them right now”

*Jonah’s POV*

“I’m sorry Jonah...” i hear y\n say as she hangs up. What’s wrong with me? Why doesn’t she want me? I shouldn’t have tried to kiss her. Fuck what am I gonna do. I don’t want to lose her. I need to go for a walk.

“Where are you going?” Jack asked

“Out” I said bluntly

“Okay, but where?” Daniel asked sounding concerned.

“To the studio” I said as I walked out of the door

“The studio?” Daniel asked turning to jack

“That’s where he goes when something happened and he needs to get away” jack said looking at Daniel

“I just hope he’s okay”

“Me too”

I walked to the studio while blasting music. She clouded my thoughts. Y/n is all I think about and I blew it. I blew my chance with her. Before I knew it, I was at the studio. I immediately walked over to the piano and started to play some chords. Music was my only escape. It was the only thing that would get my mind off of y/n. I started playing some chords then a lyric popped into my head

“It's a shame girls like you don't know how to love. Try to give you my all, but it's not enough” I grabbed a pen and paper and started writing down more lyrics that came to mind.

“Shit, how long have you been there?” I asked

“Long enough. Now are you going to tell me why you’re here?” Jon asked.

“I’m writing a song about a girl I know.”

“A girl huh? This can’t be good” Jon laughed

“Do-do you want to see what I have so far?” I asked

“I’d love to” Jon smiled. I watched as he read the lyrics I just wrote. Trying to read his face to see if he likes it or not. “This is really good Jonah”

“Really?” I asked

“Yeah, I really like this. So who’s this girl?”

“Oh uh it’s y/n. She’s been around lately cause her best friend is dating Zach. I took her on a date and I guess she doesn’t feel the same way about me.” I explained.

“Oh, yeah. I know who you’re talking about” Jon said

“Hey, um I know it’s not an official song or anything, but if I got the boys to practice it with me could we play it at tomorrow’s show?” I asked.

“If the boys are okay with it then yes.” Jon agreed.

“Thank you Jon” I smiled “I’ll talk to the boys tonight”

“And Jonah? If she is worth all of this. Show it. Show her that you’re not willing to give up that easily” Jon said

“I will. Thank you Jon” and with that I stood up and walked back to mine and Corbyn’s place. All the boys were already over (including Eben) so what perfect time to start practicing our new song. “Hey boys! We got a new song that we have to practice. Oh and we’re performing it tomorrow night”

“You have got to be kidding me!” Zach protested as he put his palm to his face.

“Oh come on, it’ll be killer”

“Lemme guess, it’s about y/n” Jack said

“How do you know about that?” I asked.

“Gabbie and Christina are with Halie and y/n having a girls night. Gabbie said something about how a certain someone asked y/n on another date and she rejected him” jack said stating me down.

“Well, you didn’t have to say it like that. But yeah it’s about y/n. It was the only healthy way of coping with what happened.” I frowned

“Jo, we’re here. We’re your family. We might give you a hard time but it’s what brothers do.” Said Daniel.

“Look dude, we know Tate fucked you up. And y/n is coming from the same place. You should give her time” Zach butted in

“Yeah, but she’s too scared to get hurt again that she won’t even give us a chance. But whatever can we just go over the song”

“Yes” everyone said in a defeated voice.

*Your POV*

A few hours pass since Halie called the girls. Before I knew it, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see Gabbie and Christina.

“Heyyy girl!” Christina cheered as she hugged me

“Omg y/n I missed you so much!” Gabbie said as she came in for the hug too.

“I missed you guys too. Thank you for coming” I said as I hugged them back.

“So what movie are we gonna watch?” Halie asked as she walked into the room

“The notebook” Christina and Gabbie cheered at the same time

“No! I don’t even want to think about relationships right now! How about IT?” I suggested

“Ugh fine” Christina said

“Yeah that works” said Gabbie

“Okay, I’ll go get it started. The snacks are already on the table ladies” said Halie as she went to start the movie. We all walked towards the movie room with loads of snacks in our arms. We grabbed pillows and blankets and snuggled up with each other on the couch.

“Who needs guys when you have the best friends in the world” I said as the movie started. And with that the night was drama free. No boys. No relationships. Just quality time with my favorite people.

Torn

Pairing: Drake x Athena

Word count: 1,463

Warnings: angst, all the angst, no fluff to be found

Summary: Athena becomes stressed while going over her options.

Athena sat at the bar of the train car, upset, again. How did she keep finding herself in this situation, crying at the goddamn bar. She looked at the now very crumpled up note from Liam she got earlier in the day along with flowers, which made her moment of happiness come crashing down around her. She had had a romantic moment with Percy and it was all destroyed by Liam’s words. She felt a complex array of emotions, anger at Liam for all of his actions that brought them to this place, fear of letting him back in only to have her hopes and dreams dashed YET again, confusion over the feelings she felt for now three completely different men. She didn’t know if she could, should give Liam another chance, he’d already hurt her so thoroughly on more than one occasion, and who knows if they could ever be together the way they wanted anyway. Percy could give her everything she wanted and more, the feelings were there, growing, maybe she should give him a real chance. Drake seemed completely disinterested anymore so she just had to let that thought go, maybe that was for the best, it would be easier if she only had to choose between two men, instead of three.

Her head fell into her hands, she had absolutely no clue what to do, she was so completely torn in two. She loved Liam, she knew that, but he had a pattern of distrusting her, breaking her heart on more than one occasion. He chose a woman that was cruel to her and did nothing to stand up to Madeline’s cruel words. He basically accused her of cheating on more than one occasion when it was SHE who was the other woman. Who the hell did he think he was accusing her of cheating when he technically was the one cheating on his fiancé?! She hated being the other woman, she didn’t know why she let his words woo her into this terrible situation. His fucking words, telling her she was the queen of his heart, his only love, if that were true why didn’t he pick her?! Why would he pick someone who was so cruel to her instead?! All he ever had were words and promises with the occasional gift, that stupid pearl from the grotto! It might have meant something if they were actually together, but the hiding, the sneaking around, being the other woman tainted the meaning it should have had. She was furious with Liam, for asking this of her and and even more furious at herself for telling him yes. She let out a seated sigh, she could be mad at him all she wanted but she had a hand in all of this too, had she said no things would be so much easier. But she couldn’t say no to him, not when he looked at her with love, longing, and hope, not when he said beautiful words about his love for her, that she was the only woman to own his heart. Who could ever say no after that? But she should have.

Percy was so amazing and incredible, she felt happy and free when she was with him. Feelings that had been rare since the coronation when Liam had broken her heart and his first promise. She loved feeling so happy and free once more, she had almost forgotten what it felt like since the coronation. Percy brought her that feeling, that freedom. She could be seen with Percy and not worry about the implications, she could be with Percy out in the open and have everything she ever wanted with him. She didn’t know what was holding her back from truly diving in, it wasn’t lack of feelings, no there were plenty of feelings, today just further proved to her just how deep she had fallen and how deep she could fall if she just let herself. It wasn’t fear, she knew Percy would never hurt her the way Liam had. No, it’s was uncertainty that had to be holding her back. Uncertainty of her future with Liam, if she could even ever have one. Uncertainty if she should give Liam yet another chance to break her heart, or maybe it was time to move on and just let her feelings for Percy overtake her. She shook her head as she let out a broken sob. She was so unsure of what to do, what she wanted.

She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder, turning she found Drake. Drake the man who didn’t want her.

“You okay Morgan?” Drake asked, concern etched across his face. She looked so sad and broken, had Liam done this to her or was it Duke Perceval.

She shook her head. “Not really Drake.” She sobbed, how could she tell Liam’s best friend how she was feeling? He’d probably yell at her and tell her she did it to herself and deserved to be so torn about what, no who she wanted.

Drake being sighed my as he sat down next to her. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked.

“It’s just I don’t know what to do…”she croaked trailing off. She needed to talk to someone, but Drake? Would he even be in her side?

She took a deep breath in, trying to steal confidence.

“I don’t know what to do, about Liam and Percy. I have feelings for both of them, but Liam hurt me, he keeps hurting me. He may not have meant it but it doesn’t change the fact that he keeps breaking my heart. I just…” she stated trailing off again.

“He sent me this today.” She said instead, passing Drake the crumpled note.

Drake raised an eyebrow at the state of the note. “That bad Morgan?” He asked trying to flatten the note so he could read it.

“Yes.. No… I don’t know..” She tried to start, sighing and dropping her head into her hands. “I just don’t know if it changes anything.” She said softly looking back up at Drake. “How do I trust him again after everything? He keeps showing me he doesn’t trust me and I don’t know if I could go through the heartbreak that will come again.” She finished with a sigh.

“So he took my advice.” Drake said passing back the note.

“What?” She asked narrowing her eyes in confusion at Drake.

“I kinda told him off after dragging him out of your room today. Heh. I told him if he didn’t want to lose you he needed to stop behaving like a jealous ass and start showing you the real him, and how much you mean to him.” He started. “That.” He pointed to the note. “Shows that he’s trying. I have no clue what he’s going to do but he’s trying Morgan.” Drake said.

“Really? You told him off?” She asked surprised.

“He was being a jerk I set him straight. But you don’t ever really know Morgan. You just need to look inside your heart and it’ll tell you what to do. Liam may have not handled things they way he should have but he does love you even if he has a strange way of showing it. He’s scared too.” Drake replied.

Athena sighed, she didn’t know how she felt, not really, she was torn between giving up and giving him yet another chance.

“But I don’t know how I feel Drake. Part of me feels like giving up and the other feels like giving him one last chance.” She said sadly looking down at the note.

“It’s not like there’s a handbook for these types of situations Morgan. Just trust in him. Trust that’s he’s trying.” He replied.

“I’m sure he is Drake, but I’m not sure it’s enough anymore, he really hurt me.” Athena said sadly, wringing her hands. She wasn’t ready to let go, but she wasn’t ready to have her heart broken again. She just didn’t know what to do, stay with him and risk never having what she wanted, risk having her heart broken again. Could she withstand another heartbreak at his hand? Go, forget Liam, move on, she’d still suffer, pain from leaving the man she loved, the man she thought she’d get forever with. Pain from watching Madeline win. She thought long and hard, weighed each option in silence, and Drake let her.

“One last chance. I will give him one last chance. But if he breaks my heart this time, then I’m done.” She said standing up, her voice was steadier than she thought it would be. As she headed back to her room, the words kept running in her head, one last chance.
