we got bored so. persona plurality rambling be upon ye. under the cut cuz this got pretty long-

straight-up canon:

there's honestly a beary surprising amount of persona characters that're just. canonically plural. even if it probably wasn't necessarily meant as plurality (if that makes sense).

sho + minazuki - i haven't actually gotten to them really being that plural but. they switch several times in the arena ultimax story. i don't think i really need to explain this one, as i said it's just canon and, according to one of our plural friends who's finished the story, surprisingly good representation for something that probably wasn't even really meant to be plurality.

labrys + shadow labrys - shadow labrys exists separately from labrys + labrys' persona and fronts when labrys is incapacitated. i love how this is how they decided to implement shadow labrys into ultimax /gen. esp love it since i kin labrys.

jun kanzato + yuki kanzato - from trinity soul. we now know two things about trinity soul (the other is that check it out im in the house like carpet). basically these two are twins, yuki died in a fire and jun had parts of his brain damaged. the damaged parts were replaced with parts of yuki's brain. and theyre plural cuz of that, they talk to each other and yuki starts fronting at one point in the series. i dont know whats happening in trinity soul honestly im just paraphrasing the wiki im. so confused

kinda plural-coded but not canon:

they have The Vibes™.

sumire + kasumi: ok we havent played p5 and have only seen royal twice and i dont think weve ever seen all of third semester but. def something plural about sumi. kasumi got frontstuck. uh *vaguely gestures* im struggling with words yall get our drift. probably

makoto(/minato)/kotone(/minako) + pharos/ryoji: death being sealed inside of you and manifesting as a person only you can talk to sounds pretty plural to me ngl (and also ryoji IS pharos. so) (im projecting on myself hggrftfhf)

every persona user: personas seem to talk to their users given p5 (thanks p5 <3). and personas are your other self. plurality moment. 💥
