Star Titan Au

So after watching and finishing all of the Owlhouse (which is just an amazing show, please go watch), I kind of started to ship the Collector and King at the end. And at first I was a bit worried that maybe I'd get some complaints, but please hear me out: 1st off-- they're both demons of relatively the same age, who will also outlive most of the people they've come to know. It's kind of a sad fact-- King will outlive Eda and Luz naturally.

However, being immortal, or just ancient beings themselves, the collector and King will probably live the longest together-- either dying close to the same time, or, if they are immortal, living forever. Which, in a world where you will naturally outlive your human/witch friends/family, it's comforting knowing you have someone to stay with you through it all. 2nd: In case anyone's like (you can't ship them, they're entirely different species)-- Owlhouse has already shown multiple interspecies relationships, and literally the boiling isles is filled with diversity so that's just a bullshit excuse. Also, I know some people joke that King is a Dog Demon-- but like, he's still a demon with the ability to communicate and consent-- which does not make this bestiality, so please I don't want to hear that in any arguments. If anything this is Monsterfucker on Monsterfucker. 3rd: It's cute, and both of them have grown throughout the show, and are continuing to grow long after the show. Yes, The Collector has a lot of maturing to do, but again, they have all the time in the world, and with a friend like King, they will probably get there in time. I'm just saying, this doesn't seem like a stretch in relationship, and I really don't want to cause any drama or hate-- or antishipping.

Anyway, now that that's out of the way, what is a Star Titan?

A Star Titan is an au I came up with, where in the future, the collector and King raise 3 children who are basically a mix of both their species. In a way, their designs would be reminiscent of Wolf Children

A mix of both celestial humanoid being, who either has the ears, tail, and markings of a Titan, or can shift into something more Titan like.

Since it's implied that King's species reproduce asexually, he will most likely have the children-- though I still think it will be a mix of both their DNA. The children will be as mischievous as the Collector at his age, and now an older, wiser Collector must deal with the realization that this is what he used to be like when they were young. They have infinite power of both a titan and an archivist.

Their Children are in Order: Selene -She/They: The oldest (Literally named after the titan personification of the moon) Lunaris -They/Them: The Middle child Moon Moon -He/They: The youngest (And yes, that is their canon name, no I don't take criticism. The collector and King both thought it was funny, and Moon Moon loves it. So does Hunter, he also thinks it's hilarious!) I need to come up with designs, but this is sort of the vague idea. King and the Collector love their children, and the Collector has made it known if their siblings try to do anything to their husband or children....they will meet a very painful end. And just the two raising three very powerful beings together, along with the rest of the family (Grandma Eda, Great Aunt Lilith, Auntie Luz and Amity....Hootie), and not only saving King's species, but creating a whole new species together.

So uhm....thoughts?

SPOILERS FOR OWLHOUSE "FOR THE FUTURE"

THIS THEORY IS ABOUT CERTAINTED BACKGROUNDS IN "FOR THE FUTURE"

This is about the pictures one can see when King visits Eda in the collectors floating castle.

Me, and some of my friends took a closer look and came up with a theory what the backstory of the collector is and how the conflict with the titans came to be.

First there are 4 big collectors and our small one. As you can obiviously see, the grown are depicted just like our's when he was still trapped in the moon plate. But they're also blue instead of White-Black.

Note how our collector has a purple hue.

Here our collector is surrounded by baby/small titans, all gathered around him. Almost as if they trying to comfor him.

So at one point in history, at least our collector was on friendly terms with a bunch of titans BEFORE he was imprisoned.

But there must've been a conflict between these two races cause the Titan Trappers worship the collectors and they, y'know, trap and kill titans.

They also have THIS

A broken moonplate. Just like the one our collector was in. Me and my friends came to the conclusion that in this plate was one of the big collectors. (keep him in mind please)

The Titan trappers even have a picture in the hallway from collectors castle:

But wait, we already know this picture!

It's the same as the one in titans ruins, where he was hidden from the world till eda found him. BUT NOW, we have the whole picture, with an egg laying between the titans feet, who could that possibly be?

We came to the conclusion that it was King, cause there is no other titan egg in the series.

So what we thought was Kings DAD in "Echoes of the Past" the guy with clothes, but NOW we can savely assume that that is a titan trapper and the firebreathing beast is Kings DAD.

Owl House Season 3 Review - The End of Owlvangelion

i actually adore how they did belos' death like. him first trying to pass it off as some curse/'i couldn't control myself' kinda shit and when he begins melting and realizing luz is absolutely not buying it he instead tries to guilt her into saving him by telling her she'd be evil to let him die. the way that even after fucking everything he's done he still refuses to take responsibility for it, it's not 'you'll be just as evil, conniving, unforgivable as me' but 'as those witches'. the way luz stays completely silent, her expression unchanging, not even granting him the dignity of a response as he's dying.

the final plea of 'we're humans, we're better than this!' still not getting a response from luz, but rather eda cutting in with 'well, we ain't!!' before her, raine and king stomp what's left of him into the ground.

people could say it was underwhelming or even just petty but honestly after ever the years of controlling and restricting the residents of the boiling isles, after the years of abuse towards hunter and all the other grimwalkers, after the attempt to COMPLETELY WIPE OUT EVERYONE LIVING IN THE BOILING ISLES, a petty death is all he deserves.

the colonizer tyrant who refused to believe he was in the wrong until the very end didn't deserve a big climactic death, but rather to be unceremoniously stomped to death by the people he hurt. he saw himself as the hero of this story, and to not grant him the big flashy death all heroes are given was the ultimate final fuck-you to him. raine was right when they said that that was extremely satisfying <3

throwing this out there cause I’ll lose my mind if it happens and I never said it out loud: HOOTY has EDA’s heart like Calcifer survived on Howl’s. They have a magical contract and hooty agreed for eda’s heart and of course he’s now confined to the house, WHICH... WILL BE DESTROYED on the finale n I’m gonna cry my soul out.... 

we dont how they struck the bargain and by cutting the series short of course we ‘ll never find many answers anywhere other than our limitless fantasy
