Watching a playthrough of a 1996 horror sci-fi game called Overblood… AND PIPPO IS THE BEST BOT A MAN COULD HAVE. The main male character Razz loves them, and immediated gets attatched to the lil guy. It’s so funny and adorable and they had to be doodled. Pippo supremacy, Pippo for president!!

Game: Overblood (PS1)

Overblood, despite seemingly sucking ass, is apparently regarded as one of the first survival horror games to feature 3D environment (meaning that the visuals weren't pre-rendered, as in Resident Evil). It should have been better known for having one of the funniest cutscenes in a video game.

A jet of green lightning cracked through the spot where Malfoy had just been standing, charging the air, hitting the wall with a terrible explosion. “What are you doing, Theodore?!” Malfoy wailed as he ducked for cover behind the couch. “We’re throwing AKs at ten in the morning?!” “I’M THROUGH WITH YOU, MALFOY, I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU! YOU’RE SO FUCKING ANNOYING!” He fired off another Killing Curse like it was a lumos and advanced toward them. “You owe me your life for how many times I almost throttled you in your sleep and forced myself not to!” “You owe me, sicko!” Malfoy shot back, belly-crawling at top speed. “I covered for you! I never told anyone what you did with the thestrals!” “Then how come they started locking the stables, you fucking liar?!” Malfoy let out a mad giggle. “Okay, yeah, I guess I did tell some people.”

Harry flexed his fingers again. His hand looked flushed and felt swollen. In fact he felt hot and sort of bloated all over. “Ah,” Malfoy said. “I think you’re a touch overblooded.” Harry gave him the best ice glare he could, considering he was blushing furiously and felt like steam was about to pour from his ears. “It’s good, you’ll have a bit extra,” Malfoy assured him. “For next time.”

The look on Malfoy’s face was not only troubling, Harry realized, but familiar. At once activated and dead behind the eyes, like an invasive species in an ecosystem that could not check it. It was the look of the meanest fucking teenager Harry had ever known, giving in to his urge to bully.

Short answer: Nothing, really. It just makes me giggle.

Long answer: I'm a big fan of sketch comedy troupe/Youtubers/streamers LoadingReadyRun and one of my favorite streams they've ever done is for a game called Overblood. At some point while playing the game, there's a shot of the protagonist that prompts one of the guys to go, "So beardsley."

It's always tickled me and I've watched that stream so many times over the years that now basically any time I see a beard that quote pops into my head. Eventually, since it's always in my brain anyway, I figured I'd might as well make it bearded!Steve's tag. I just added "mc" to it, because for whatever reason that makes things funnier to me. Like how my rant tag is "ranty mcrantface."

It's all very silly.
