Please please please please, BEGGING AND WAILING read this fanfiction by DoctorHaifisch on Ao3, it's SOOOO GOOD !! 😭 Words cannot describe what did I just experienced while reading the whole thing but I can surely say that it made it to my favorite fic top.

First of I was just immediatly enthralled by how well Kokichi was characterized (I'm a simple woman, I see good Kokichi content, I click).

But then I quickly realised everyone else was super well written ? Even Kaito who's a character at the very beggining of my Danganronpa V3 journey I didn't really like at all because idk I guess I couldn't see clear through him and I would just label him as the hothead guy with a hero complex...

But omg with this fic you opened my eyes and unraveled something in my brain, even if it sounds dumb I think I never realised before the potential Kokichi/Kaito had together and the undeniable bound there must be between these two after what they experienced in the hangar in Chap. 5.

So just for that, thank you for making me appreciate and love Kaito where the game apparently couldn't and thank you for making me love Kokichi even more if that was even possible.

Now these two purple guys are very very dear to me and I want them and their classmates to have their happy ending after all they've endured 🥹

As for the art here, I had to redraw that beautiful art piece the author made for Chap. 20 because I'm a sucker for angsty stuff and also I was captured by how emotional and impactful it was displaying the sheer horror Kokichi experienced at some point of that chapter.

I'll definitively make more art for this fanfiction later, the only reason I've never done that before being that I didn't like how I drew Kaito but now I think I got a design I'm happy with, so be warned there will be content >:)

Hey, y'all. DoctorHaifisch, the author of the Danganronpa V3 fanfic Amalgamate here <3

Some of you might've already seen the above video on my TikTok page, but I wanted this thank you message to reach as many Amalgamate fans as possible. I only found out about the fic having the 4th most hits of any DRV3 fic on AO3 a few days ago, and when I was told about it, I couldn't believe it. I went to AO3 to confirm, and that's when I found out about Amalgamate also being #7 in kudos, #4 in bookmarks, and #3 in comments. I'm still completely shocked because I truly didn't realize Amalgamate had reached such a level of notoriety in the DRV3 fanfic community

So, I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads and enjoys Amalgamate. Whether you've only read some of it, read all of it, reread it, left kudos, left comments, or even just sent happy thoughts in the fic's direction, I appreciate you all so much. 2 1/2 years ago, I posted chapter 1 of Amalgamate under the assumption that hardly anyone would even read it, and now there's an audio project, fanart, fan comics, dubs, songs, animatics, fics inspired by Amalgamate, and so much more. It still blows my mind, and not for one second do I ever take any of it for granted.

So truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much <333

Hey, guess what? I finaly finished my fanart for 13 Students Remain written by a wonderful @whattheskyknows! I've been subscribed to it for a long time, but never drew anything which is actually a crime. I'm fixing my mistake now!

This is probably my favorite fanfic ever, I highly recommend reading it (especially if you like oumota and amamatsu)! Very well written, and full of both funny and sad moments (that now live rent free in my head). It's pretty long, but it's REALLY worth it! I don't want to say more because I don't want to spoil anything. Just check it out. It's so underrated it's insane!!

I wan't to point out little details I put in this.

I depicted here the main characters of each simulation loop after the main game, along with the people they became closest to (and who supported them a lot), as well as the main "antagonist" of their respective loops. In Kaede's and Kokichi's cases it is Tsumugi, but Kaito was most shaken by his memories.

Also Kaito is here providing support in each loop. And in his own everyone is there for him (just like he deserves)

Read “Dawn Again on this Vibrant and Violent Night” by Myaami on AO3! It has got to be my all time favorite V3/Saiou fic since Reaching or Kriegspiel. The characterization is AMAZING, the plot is mysterious and intriguing (even beyond the Ship™). The prose is witty, the dialogue is sharp—what else can I say??? I love this fic. It’s 89k+ words, it’s ✨Complete✨. What more could a black cat ask for?

Updates on Amalgamate Chapter 21

Y'all, I am SO SORRY this chapter's taking so long!!! You wouldn't even believe how horribly it eats away at me every single day when this much time passes between Amalgamate chapters. I wanted so badly to have chapter 21 posted before I leave for Dragon Con next week, but I ran into issues with rearranging and smoothing out the chapter, and I wasn't happy with a lot of the scenes, and then in a stroke of extra bad luck, I had some medical issues that slowed me down.

But I'm gonna try to have as much of chapter 21 ready to go before I leave for Dragon Con so that when I get back a week later, I'll have the freshest possible eyes on the draft. I'm really, really hoping that'll be The Draft that I can prep for posting. I don't want to keep you all waiting much longer, so I'm trying very hard to get the next chapter up ASAP. I'm really, really sorry for all the delays, but I promise I work on the fic every single day no matter what. Really hoping to have chapter 21 ready soon <333
