You're telling me Forever Evil happened in this universe? You're telling me SPYRAL happened in this universe? I'll have to hope that everything went down very differently because otherwise there's a lot to unpack there that clearly this comic isn't ready for.
Give me Bruce who in a furious tone yells out "JASON" but it isn't Jason who responds, its Tim-
Because even after so many years, he still hasn't gotten used to B calling him by his real name.
remember when Bruce got mind controlled and fought Dick and broke his arm so hard he screamed? well it turns out if you look that clip up, tiktok will continue to feed you edits of that scene forever
Dick and Tim find eachother in the chaos and take down gunmen in a massage parlor together. Tim asks dick for advice and dick contemplates how he used to love giving his opinion to Tim, pleased that Tim would take him into his confidence. Now, however, dick feels he has no right to tell Tim anything due to the recent events with blockbuster’s death.
Before he can finish his thought, an explosive is thrown and dick has flashbacks to his burning apartment and blockbusters dead body. He stays frozen in place until Tim comes backs to lead him out of the burning building.
Tim asks what’s wrong with dick but he interrupts by recalling Tim’s early request for his opinion. Tim pauses then says he’s worried Bruce is mad at him. Tim then tells dick to take care of himself then promptly leaves while dick stays standing there telling himself that Bruce isn’t mad.
I enjoy playboy billionaire Brucie Wayne as much as the next person, but oh my god, it is so much funnier to imagine that Bruce is trying so hard to pretend to be that careless himbo playboy, but everyone in Gotham can absolutely read him for filth, that this is an act and a coping mechanism for his childhood trauma
Alfred Pennyworth and Damian Wayne about fathers and legacies from 2009-2011, in Robin Vol. 2 #168, Batman and Robin Vol. 1 #1, Batman Vol. 1 #703, and Batman and Robin Vol. 1 #22.
It’s turning out to be a bad day when Jason finds himself stabbed during a drug bust.
It’s turning out to be a very bad day when he starts to feel woozy (seriously, what the hell? It was just a little stabbing) and promptly collapses.
It’s turning out to be a monumentally bad day when the batfamily drop in on his drug bust.
And then the night takes a hard nose dive into catastrophically bad, because whatever toxin that blade was laced with? It’s making his heartbeat slow down into near flatline, paralyzing Jason in the process.
And now he’s stuck listening to his family lose it completely upon finding his “dead” body.
nah cuz imagine an au where Dick saves Jason from the Joker:
Batsy is fighting J outside while Nightwing enters the building only to find his brother beaten up and the bomb ticking so he hacks the bomb and diffuses it then takes his brother to safety and Jason is safe and can recover with his brother and never becomes Red Hood...
