Week 1 girls are done! Poses are modeled after their official art, notes under the cut:

Raibaru Fumetsu and Osana Najimi are both most decidedly not Japanese names, so I wanted to replace them with something similar but distinctly actually Japanese. Hence Raimu Furukata and Osami Nekohara. Furukata and Nekohara were chosen because the beginning of Nekohara is Japanese for cat, and Furukata means ancient strength.

Seifuku uniform can stay because it's iconic.

Their proportions are a little more realistic, but in my style often characters have weird proportions anyway.

Raimu has arm warmers just for cuteness factor, and a keychain with a martial arts symbol to represent her strength. I tried to make her look a bit more toned as well.

They both have the same baggy socks. Osami's are cat themed.

I took Osami's hair down because her silhouette gets very crowded with the bow, pigtails, and scrunchies. Replaced it with a single big bow to create a cat-ear silhouette.

The colors of the characters' slippers will be different (as well as the colors slightly shifted on each uniform) for distinction. Osami and Raimu have the same slipper color, but Raimu's uniform is lighter than Osami's.

I made Osami not be leaning forward in her art so it wasn't being modeled entirely to show off her boobs.

Their hair colors are more desaturated bc from looking at images of trendy hair colors and styles in Japan, I got the vibe that ashy hair was more the thing as opposed to vibrants.

In terms of character, I imagine they're probably more or less the same because Osana and Raibaru aren't the most terribly written characters, but with more emphasis on their friendship as opposed to Raimu simply acting like Osami's guard dog. I imagine this as their interactions being more obviously friendly.

Raimu's very deep affection for Osami could be equated to Ayano's obsession with Taro, but like. a not evil parallel to it. Can be platonic (non-matchmaking) or romantic (matchmaking). Also yeah, Raimu would be Osami's matchmaking option.

Oh also, Osami definitely just calls Taro Taro or Taro-kun instead of senpai because they're longtime friends.
