I have a problem with starting new spinning projects.

See, I've been traveling for work a lot this month. I normally take a spindle with me, but I rarely have energy to spin much when traveling for work. But I keep earning per diem in excess of what I eat. So I've bought fiber much faster than I'm spinning it. The order that showed up today included 2 pounds of bits, which included a half pound mess of black, white, teal, light blue and pink wool (first pic). With sparkle of some sort.

So instead of spinning any of my already started projects, I ran the mess through my drum carder and made 18 half ounce batts (second pic). My carder is small, but it means my batts are longer than they are wide, which suits my spinning.

I've dizzed one of the batts and started it on my purple heart spindle (third pic). I guess I have a project to take traveling next week.

I know it was a bonus design but I’ve been thinking about this line and HMS a lot and basically. Got carried away lol.

I might draw some of the others you submitted later since I do really love your AUs and designs so much [they’re all soso cool and gorgeous it’s insane!! Tysm for handing over Your Guys :D]

I won’t lie there isn’t much meaning behind this, mostly as I’m not too familiar with the actual contents of the AU. Just thought it would look cool :3

Hey shadow what does it feel like when you take off/loose your inhibitor rings? Is it painful? Does it make your chronic pain worse? ;-;

What happens if you are without then too long?

Have you ever been worried about the inhibitor rings getting too old or breaking? CAN they get too old from years of absorbing your energy??

If these questions are too intrusive then I’m sorry you don’t have to answer though!

With all four rings on, the pain is merely background noise. I have bad days, and days where pain from mobility issues worsens the overall ache… but generally it’s possible to ignore it.

Losing just the ankle rings isn’t too problematic. They help with balance, keeping my Chaos Energy evenly distributed throughout my body, but I’m mot in danger without them.

Losing the ones from my wrists is a bigger problem. Not only is my power far harder to control, but the pain is worsened. It feels more like somebody has hollowed out my bones and filled them with molten lead. It’s not pleasant, which is why I only remove them as a last resort.

I don’t even know what would happen if I removed all four. I’ve never tried.

Luckily, the rings seem fairly stable. I obtained the original plans a few years back when I found the rest of the Professor’s journal. Since then, the fox has been helping me with general upkeep.

okay i know i promised "this ask will def be the last benji ask!!!" about three asks ago lmao, BUT. consider this. Ben confessing to Kenji that he broke up with Gia a few months or so after chaos theory. they're on a walk around Sammy's ranch, sitting on the hilltop, where they've been staying. they share a room, because Sammy's ranch has three bedrooms, yasammy are sharing, and Darius and Brooklynn are sharing, and it just made logical sense. they're on a picnic by sunset, and they brought a few cheap beers. Kenji tells him to talk about the breakup, and Ben says he's pretty sad, but he sort of felt it was coming since they'd been growing distant since Ben left for Malta. they talk and drink and the world grows fuzzy and warm and soft. Kenji can't stop looking at the way Ben looks, lit perfectly by the sunlight, and that smile he gets when he talks about something he likes, and the way his eyes light up when he's excited, and Kenji is kissing him before either of them can process what happens. it's warm and sweet and comfortable and everything Kenji never knew he needed until now, and Ben pulls away, a million and one emotions on his face. Kenji, rambling apologies and excuses, runs. he sleeps on the couch that night, and the camp fam (minus Ben) don't know why. Kenji won't tell them
