Official Hazbin merch and it's promoting two Alastors, but no Vaggie.

Wow, you know it's bad when even the fucking Hazbin stans are complaining about the lack of Vaggie, or really any other female character here.

Like, Niffty I can understand excluding, but Vaggie is literally the main character's girlfriend.

I think this definitely puts to death the idea that Viv was making Hazbin a "female-focused show". No, it never was, she was lying, or at least clearly changed her mind. She focused this show just as much, if not more on Alastor and Angel Dust than she ever focused it on Charlie or Vaggie.

“You’re sitting at your computer having a good time, right?” Pezzy sassily fixes his clothes as he leaves the room while leaving his door cracked slightly for a hot minute.

Then, his girlfriend, ____ slams the door open, while wearing her signature red and plaid, fluffy pjs pants and a muscle tank top, and her hair up in a messy bun, stomping her way to the computer. She slightly trips on his shoes in the walkway and laughs it off, Pezzy walks in behind her watching in suspense to see what she will do. She grabs the mic and starts ranting and screaming into the mic.

“HEY, this is how you do everything! You do this part, you put that pipe here, and the other part there. You need this code, here’s the code by the way. 45826 and then it's these colors {Pink, Purple and Gray}, and this what; and this is what happens at the end of the game ... .That's what happens by the way, but enjoy your game.” _____ cried in pain at the stupidity of chat,  she then moves away from the camera to sit on the edge of Pezzy’s bed. Say what you will about Alastor being popular, but the first wave definitely should have had Vaggie instead of two Alastors.

Also with Charlie's figure, that mini background with music notes looks so bad imo. Especially when none of the other figures have a mini background like her. Like, we know she's singing, you don't need to add music notes behind her.

Remember, this is the Vivziepop standom we're talking about. Without music notes, there's a very decent chance they'll get confused and start screaming about how they don't know why her mouth is open.

It's because this is only the second item from this game that's come out for merch. The only other item to have come out being a youtooz figure of Norman. Back when the game first came out and Ducky made vids and posts talking about merch and stuff her begged people not to buy the bootleg plushies that immediately came out stating that they'd work on making their own eventually. A year after the game comes out and we finally have the Norman plushie like we'd been told/half promised.

You said something about Baratie arc feeling like a checklist and GOD yeah it really felt like that :'D I always forget the Mihawk fight happened there honestly and am disappointed that parts of the episodes were dedicated to tension between Nami, Luffy and Zoro about the duel rather than... you know... blorbo from my shows

He really did feel like a side character to his own story cause some of the most memorable things about him were completely missed or skimmed over. I h8 that he just talks about the All Blue and it's not that goofy smile from the animanga. Also that he doesn't watch the fight or have this moment of "wait, my dream is worth fighting for". It's kinda said to our face that "he doesn't leave cause he owes Zeff" but I don't feel it the same way I do in the animanga. I have so many weird feelings cause I love some aspects to OPLA. But as a Sanji fan, I'm sad that he's kinda barely in it? And that what they left in were just surface level observations about him: "he's a chef who fights and flirts" um, where's that self-loathing and self-destructive kindness huh??

At least he calls Zoro mosshead once though and I got the joy of replaying that scene in different languages and now know what "mosshead" is in a plethora of languages.

I just...everyone was stripped of character but Sanji and Usopp were especially so ruined I really do not understand it. Like I'm sorry, using Sanji's pain and trauma as a lesson for Luffy IS a despicable way to frame it, even worse with Luffy not even ACKNOWLEDGING IT??

One's pain in One Piece does not exist to teach any other characters a lesson, Sanji starving on a rock for 2 months does not exist so he can just tell Luffy how hard it is to be a captain. Which doesn't even make SENSE because Zeff wasn't even SANJI'S CAPTAIN AT THE DAMN TIME. NOR HAS HE EVER BEEN?

I feel crazy because everyone seems very lukewarm on it, and maybe I am just insanely attached to Sanji and feel greatly touched by his story, but is using a character's original written trauma as a plot device for ANOTHER character not insulting? Is there ANY respect for Sanji's 2 months of hell there? There's a damn good reason Sanji's story existed to be his OWN and not a motivational speech for LUFFY??

Imagine if Zoro was like "My best friend died, changing the course of my life and putting me through a grief so heavy I now carry her dream with me. Sometimes death of a loved one is an inevitable factor" and Luffy's like "L+ratio+I would kill MY best friend for Sanji" LIKE...WHA....

This is pure insanity I feel like I'm being shot left and right with everything I hear, like I'm glad people are enjoying bits and pieces, truly, but the flaws and disrespect of original character are just so apparent they're doing my head in - especially with how tons of people are choosing to just ignore it.

They tried to give Luffy this weird Water 7 moment, where he had to learn how to be a captain, but this script failed to consider Luffy had to learn that HIMSELF of his OWN circumstances and decisions with Usopp. Yes he was helped by Zoro in Water 7, but Zoro didn't suddenly just trauma dump about how awful a past he had for Luffy to go "Cool. ANYWAYS!" LIKE I JUST...REALLY? Am I crazy or overly biased or what because god damn I'm just jaw dropped at all of this fhgkd

The Baratie is meant to be Luffy witnessing SANJI'S character, and learning of SANJI'S personality and morals - with Sanji then being inspired from Luffy. Where was that? Where was any of that? Why was Sanji's kindness, stubbornness and self-sacrifice side-lined for a character we've been with LONGER at that point to get a bigger spotlight? It's so weird I don't GET IIIIT DFGHJKD

I'm so happy with how this little dude turned out. He's much bigger than my previous ones, so I posed him with my creepy nendoroid doll for scale so you could hopefully get an idea of the size. He's a present for my sister, who asked specifically for him for her birthday (and his face to be scared lmao). She's completely wild about it from what I can tell. He makes me think that the one youtooz are making should have been so much fuzzier ngl. Technical details below the cut!

I worked off the AradiyaToys Kenny pattern for this mostly, but I used the hair from their Butters pattern (which I quickly realized I'd already figured out myself, but I digress) and custom ears and tummy using circles.

The bulk of his body is worked on Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Lenja Soft paired with some brown 4ply cotton for strength, and Sirdar Snowflake and Snuggly Bunny for the other details. His head is wholly cotton (barring the felt) and uses some doubled-up Scheepjes Catona with a random Aran cotton I lost the label for for his hair. I'm continuing to paint over the felt for the eyes and painting on details, as I really like the consistency it provides. I'm so happy with how I can move his hood up and down - my partner came up with that one pretty early on.

I'll probably add some legs because the base isn't too clear, but I'll need to order more Baby Smiles first 😅

✨My plushies from youtooz have arrived! They look adorable!✨

Unfortunately, dispite looking cute I did have quite a few issues with them, so I’m unsure if I’ll be ordering plushies from youtooz again. Issues (with pictures) under the read more.

Firstly, Bonnie

The ears have wire in them which is supposed to make them stand up and allow you to pose them. As you can see by the above photo, the right one doesn’t stand up. Although it has a wire in it, it’s not connected to the head like the left one is, so it doesn’t keep it standing up straight.

Additionally there’s a hole (pictured below) in that ear. I think it’s just the white part not being sewn down correctly, so the hole doesn’t go all the way through, but I’ll still have to sew it

Additionally, although it’s hard to get a picture of, some of the stitching on his eye is coming up, not it wasn’t sewn down properly.

For Roxanne, the biggest issue I noticed is this really sloppy stitching on her cheek.

Additionally, on the embroidery for her eye and part of her arm had plastic left in it (which I’ve already peeled off so it’s not pictured here)

The rest of the issues I have with her are more design flaws. Firstly, the light green hair is just a flap of fabric. Additionally, this red thing on her left is just a stripe of felt that’s only sewn on on each end which just looks weird to me.

My last issue is with the shipping. It shipped January 29th, and I got a few updates up until the 6th of February where it just… stopped updating. It didn’t update again until the third. No emails about delays or anything, just left me in complete silence for almost a month. I’ve talked to multiple other people who had the same or similar issues.

In conclusion- I have mixed feelings. The fabric feels nice and the stuffing is firm, but I’d expect better quality and communication, essentially for a $73 order when shipping was added. If it was just one or two small issues than I wouldn’t be complaining, but all those small things plus the messy shipping kinda add up. I know for some people this stuff isn’t a big deal, but for me it just- really bugged me. I’m not sure if I’ll be ordering plushies from them again (I got a sitting fnaf 1 freddy from them for Christmas and he was perfect which is partly why I’m so surprised). Their pins are amazing and I’ll see how their figures are when my Matpat one arrives, but I’m not sure about ordering plushies in the future.

I still love them! They’re my comfort characters so I’m so glad to have plushies of them! I’m just a little sad about some of the issues

Even when they share a consciousness with him, they wonder how they're perceived. If despite trying their very best to be as strong as possible, and trying to hide that fear, that ultimately they will always be weak...
