Have another
Well I'm up way to damn early and, since I can't fall back asleep, how about another theory that occurred to me right before we fell asleep? Now I'm going to say this has spoilers for emotion so if you haven't seen it? Don't read below the line.
So, we all accept that Kagami, Felix and Adrien are sentimonsters right? And as Nathalie showed us, using the miraculous when broken is dangerous and can result in the user's death. This we consider proven by the fact that both Felix's father and Adrien's mother died at around the same time, about a year before the show started. But here's the problem. Either Kagami also lost her father a year ago, something I think would have been brought up by now if that was the case, or her mother was the one to use it. But then why isn't she also dead?
Now, some people think that because Tomoe is blind that that was her price for using the miraculous but that doesn't make sense. We learn from Adrien that the dizzy spells and coughing that Nathalie went through is the same thing Emilie went through before she died. So, despite clearly being accelerated due to the multiple uses of Doosu's power, the process of the deterioration is the same. So, since Kagami's mother shows no signs of dying yet, unfortunately, she either didn't use the miraculous or, something else is at play here.
I have a couple of thoughts on this, each with their own problems.
Theory 1. Kagami has a father who died a year before the show and has never said anything about it. While being the most logical it seems like we really should have heard something about it before now. After all, what happened to Adrien's mother and Felix's father were among the first things we ever learned about the characters.
Theory 2. It's not just the miraculous that's the problem, it's the amok as well. If Tomoe put the ring away somewhere after a simple order of 'always do what your mother commands' it may explain why she didn't feel the effects like the others have. It could also explain why we get a shift in Kagami's personality after Riposte which is the timeframe she would have been given the ring. Or it's just good character development. However I see two problems with this theory. The first is that Nathalie never held onto the amok for long as Mayura. The only confirmed ones we have are Sentibug, when she was already feeling the effects, sentirobustus and Optigami, which she had when already sick. Now you could explain this as her repeatedly using the miraculous but that alone turning a 15 year death sentence into a couple of months seems a stretch. Speaking of which, if the miraculous user can sense amoks, even when not wearing the miraculous then just being near it should be enough to cause trouble. So either this theory is wrong or Tomoe just started her 15 year countdown.
Theory 3. This one makes sense in some regards but absolutely zero in others. It also has two forms, both under the same premise. One user, multiple sentimonsters. If an Akuma can akumatise multiple people through one object, even when they aren't all touching it ala Gang of Secrets, then why can't an amok make two sentimonsters from one object as well? Since we know Adrien's Amok is split between the twin rings why couldn't that split also make Adrien and Felix? After all, I can't be the only one that finds it weird that Adrien is said to be so much like his mother while Felix is cold, calculating, manipulative and willing to destroy the entire world to get what he wants. Sound like anyone else we know? However the problem here is getting Felix's father to be the one to make Kagami, which just seems very weird. Plus, even before he got the miraculous or one of the rings, Gabriel seemed to have no control over him.
Theory 3 b. There has only ever been one creator of Sentikids. Emilie herself. With the death of Felix's father at the same time simply being a coincidence. After all, we've never actually confirmed that the peacock miraculous can only make one amok at a time have we? Unlike an Akuma the connection isn't to the miraculous holder it's with the object so, in theory, there's nothing to say that you couldn't keep pulling feathers from the fan, especially if you detransformed inbetween. Again I see two problems with this theory, the fact that it goes against everything we're shown to be a limit to the powers of the miraculous, and there's no way shadowmoth wouldn't have created an army of the things if that was possible.
There is a third potential problem of why Emilie would do it for others but I think I can explain that. Firstly I believe Emilie, Amelie and Tomoe were all incapable of having children. Emilie and Amelie due to a genetic condition they share as twins and Tomoe? Well either Tomoe has a similar condition, couldn't find a partner to meet her standards of perfection or didn't want to run the risk of having a child that would share her blindness, again due to her perfectionism. Now it makes sense that Emilie would do such a thing for her twin and that the kids would look similar, they probably wanted the boys to share the same bond they had growing up. But why would Emilie do it for Tomoe? How would either party even know of the others circumstances? Well I think a line in perfection that originally confused me has the answer.
Hear me out. What if Tomoe was the one that told Gabriel and Emilie about the Miraculous? How would she have known? I'm not sure but as someone so obsessed with an old culture like samurai I can believe her knowing other ancient stories. But then why didn't she go herself? Either she couldn't or didn't trust anyone not to take the power for themselves. So when she heard that Gabriel and Emilie were looking for a way to have a child just like her she told them about the stories and sent them looking under the condition that if they find anything they help her. With that being the case it makes sense why they came back to Paris after HawkMoth showed up. Tomoe wanted to know what was going on and that Gabriel wasn't going back on their deal.
.... God this took me over an hour to write... I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Some last-minute Intuition theories
So Intuition is apparently coming out today, and we finally get to find out why Monarch hasn’t tried using the Snake Miraculous yet! That’s been one of my biggest questions about season 5—on the surface it looks like the perfect power for him, considering how often victory is snatched away from him by a last-minute surprise. And the episode summary suggests that Monarch understands this.
I haven’t been to the future yet, but I still feel like using these final moments before the episode’s release to try to anticipate what’s going to happen.
Spoilers abound; be warned!
Theory 1: Monarch already tried using it
We know the Snake Miraculous is difficult to wield well. Aspik failed to take down Desperada over twenty-five thousand times, and she wasn’t even all that tough of an opponent. Understanding everything about a timeline is impossible, and part of Ladybug’s reliable success comes from how she’s always able to react to anything that Monarch does, no matter how surprising. A time loop won’t change that, even if it does remove Ladybug’s ability to catch Monarch by surprise.
So what if Monarch already tried and failed to use Second Chance to manipulate an outcome through his advantage? That could have happened with a fight we’ve already seen, where the outcome shown was the one where he gave up continuing to try. Like Aspik, he’d have learned the hard way that a second chance doesn’t give you the ability to get things right. Viperion’s success was because he worked with the power rather than trying to twist it to work how he wanted it to. But Monarch’s exchange with the kwamis in Destruction shows that he has the opposite approach, and that won’t go well for him when messing with the timeline.
So if he already tried and failed to use the power, he’ll be reluctant to rely on it any time another power could work instead. And this would explain why he didn’t use the Snake Miraculous in any of his plans like the one in Deflagration, where he was closer than ever and needed every possible failsafe. Since he can only wield five Miraculouses, he doesn’t think it’s worth it to have one of them be the one he doesn’t understand.
Theory 2: Monarch is already using it constantly
While the first theory highlights Monarch’s weaknesses, this one serves as a reminder that even though he’s always failed to defeat Ladybug, she’s also always failed to defeat him. Because Monarch is cautious, to a fault—we shouldn’t forget how long he spent making the power transfer system for the Alliance rings to ensure he wouldn’t risk losing another Miraculous. And even if he doesn’t use powers as their kwamis intend, he’s very good at finding exploits and using them in clever ways. Just look at Optigami—we could be headed for a plan like that in today’s episode.
So if he understands the potential power of the Snake Miraculous as a failsafe, he might be very reluctant to use it at all recklessly. We don’t know enough about how the Snake Miraculous works to be sure if this could work, but perhaps he’s able to regularly make save points that he can go back to if he loses a Miraculous or if his identity gets revealed. He’d only need Sass to transform him if he actually needs to travel back, so that’d be why we’ve never seen him use that Miraculous.
Theory 3: Sass has been tricking Monarch
Even though the kwamis can’t directly disobey their holder, we saw in Destruction that there are loopholes to this, and Sass is a master of those. He’s a smooth talker and a quick thinker. Perhaps he always manages to convince Monarch that the Snake Miraculous isn’t worth using, or perhaps he’s encouraged misunderstandings of how it works. He’s the sort of person where it’d be surprising if he weren’t trying to undermine Monarch, and it’s just a question of how he’d go about doing that.
It’s also important to remember here that Sass has the ability to use Second Chance on his own. However, it doesn’t seem like something that could’ve happened offscreen considering the chaos that occurs when a kwami uses their power without a holder—and it’d also be hard for Monarch to not notice that, which would prompt him to order Sass to not use that power. Perhaps he’s simply already given Sass that order offscreen, or perhaps Sass just doesn’t have a good save point to go back to. (It’s unclear if he can only go back to the most recent one—would that still be the one in Ephemeral? Can he only go back to save points of his current holder? So many unanswered questions.)
A final note
One thing to keep in mind with all these theories is that Intuition chronologically takes place before five episodes that have already been released, and we haven’t seen the Snake Miraculous used in any of them. So whatever happens, this episode definitely isn’t going to cause Monarch to decide to use Second Chance more frequently going forward. And since he still has all his rings in later episodes, we know he isn’t going to lose the Miraculous today.
So I doubt today’s episode will significantly change the status quo going forward, but what it’ll hopefully change is our understanding of it—we’re about to know more about what Monarch’s doing and why, and that can have some major implications, including in episodes we’ve already seen. After all, when time rewinding is in play, the past can be just as full of surprises as the future.

Not to be sad again, but in the elevator scene did anybody noticed how sad Adrien looked when he told Marinette that Ladybug will save them after she said Chat Noir will probably be there for them?
Like yes of course they both ended up saying the other person will come for them because they were trapped and knew they couldn't transform, but Adrien seemed really sad about ensuring Ladybug will be there while Marinette seemed optimistic about Chat Noir coming.
Possibly this could be a trend with him in the episodes that we haven't seen prior to Optigami where Chat Noir never makes it to battle and he just comes to the realization in the elevator that he is going to be a no show again. We seen this in Mr. Pigeon 72 when he did not even have a chance to transform and join Ladybug before he was turned into a pigeon. And as for Marinette being optimistic about Chat Noir's arrival, I think that just shows she isn't really noticing this because she got other heroes on the job.
And before when Adrien was stuck as himself and unable to transform he was very much okay with the idea of Ladybug swooping in rescuing everybody because he trusted her so much. And whenever he reassured somebody she will come it was always enthusiastic and confident. However, those times where different, it was just the two of them and in the end she needed him to finish the job, but now she is figuring it all out herself with other heroes and capturing the akuma.
Sad hours over now.

[ID: Two gifs from the show Miraculous: The Adventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir, from the episode Optigami.
The first gif shows Adrien Agreste as Chat Noir, a hero who wears a black outfit, with a black domino mask and black cat ears, glares at his phone as he hands up, snarling with his teeth bared and his hand trembling on the phone, “A two person team? There’s only one two person team, and that’s Ladybug and me!” He stands and spins around, lifting his weapon over his head with an exclamation of rage. He brings the weapon down on the chimney behind him, smashing it into dust. He stands, and glares down at the destruction.
The second gif shows Adrien’s father, Gabriel Agreste, a white man with grey hair, wearing a white and grey suit, and a red and white striped tie, standing inside the room of a mansion with a chandelier and expensive carpet in the background, holding an electronic tablet. He is shouting in rage, “Ladybug never makes a mistake!”, and is so angry he is trembling. His grip on the tablet is clenched so violently that the screen breaks, causing the image to glitch before the gif restarts.
End ID.]
You know, even if they were doing this on purpose, and they were showing us these parallels between Adrien and Gabriel on purpose to show how Adrien’s behavior is getting worse and worse as the show goes on, because they’re doing it purposefully to give him a villainization arc.....
Even if we give them the benefit of the doubt, instead of assuming that this is pure, stupid, unintended irony, it is too gods damned late. Even if they miraculously plan to have Adrien become a villain and are going to portray his villainization arc as a bad thing, the damage has been fucking done.
They’ve spent four seasons telling children that sexual harassment is okay as long as it’s a rich white pretty boy doing it.
This is not some cinematic masterpeice where they’re showing us how far Adrien has fallen and how much farther he has left to fall.
This is the writers not knowing what the fuck they’re doing.
They show us Adrien lashing out violently in anger, in the same episode that they also showcase his father doing the exact thing.
It’d be great writing..........except at this point we all know it’s not. They didn’t do this on purpose.
They want us to like Adrien. They want us to think Adrien is a good person. They want us to think he’s perfect and the best hero who has ever existed.
Adrien is more like his father than he knows or any of his stans would like to admit, and the fact that the writers are showing us this by accident is just. fucking pathetic. And hilarious.
Anyways.
Yeah, it looks like the cycle of abuse is going to continue with Adrien happily leading the charge, because, as the show has told us multiple times now, out loud, the only person Adrien cares about himself. The only thing Adrien cares about is how he can have the most fun.
Even when that means hurting other people, even when that means sexually harassing the protagonist for four fucking seasons straight now. Even if that means endangering the lives of civilians, even if that means threatening to quit and sitting on his ass while people are drowning, even if that means he acts exactly the way a villain would, just by a different name.
Adrien Agreste is not a good person, and he’s literally not even deserving of the title “sidekick”. He can’t even be called an antihero, because that would require him to be a bad person on purpose as the point.
But no, the writers are racist white men who think sexual harassment and racism is hilarious.
I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it. The only reason Adrien Agreste isn’t a villain in this story is because it is written by racist white 45 year old men who think sexual harassment is the height of romance.

hmm, this image feels VERY telling to me about how the dynamic between Ladybug and Chat Noir is starting to change. Now that she’s revealed her identity to Alya, Marinette has started to lean on her much more than before, asking her to help out during akuma battles like we saw in Mr Pigeon 72 and this episode, Optygami. As a result, we haven’t seen Chat Noir that much so far, and this is reflected in the end card with him being off to the side while Rena Rouge is very much front and centre.
I can’t wait to rewatch the episode with subs, since there was an awful lot that went down. However, I do think one thing is pretty clear: we’ve already seen Adrien/Chat Noir being sidelined a couple of times, which has spawned a theory that it could lead to a conflict between him and Ladybug because he feels as though she doesn’t need him anymore. And while that theory isn’t set in stone, it feels as though this episode hinted strongly at it, and now I’m terrified of what’s to come

On the Optygami angst train, Chat had to see Ladybug defeat the Akuma without him and call on all her other allies and feel sidelined and that’s probably really hard on him but
he also heard this:
Not knowing that Marinette knew Ladybug wasn’t coming, all he would hear was Marinette choosing to believe in him over everyone.
It’s not a Ladynoir loss, you guys.

I still can’t believe some of Alya’s actions (she locked Marinette in a room with a “super villain”!) why is she getting rewarded and not called out? This is a kids show yet it’s glorifying bad friends and peer pressure wtf!?
Exactly. Alya was not supposed to do what she did. She went against Marinette’s orders and nearly got Marinette exposed. She shouldn’t have gotten rewarded for that. I saw this post saying show it’s ridiculous that some people are suggesting that Alya get mind wiped because then it would mean Marinette would be under all that pressure again.
Listen I get the whole pressure thing, I do. But I think Marinette would be a lot happier she if she chose to mind wipe Alya for what she did and be alone again when being alone didn’t nearly get her exposed like Alya did. Alya stole a miraculous from the box. She borrowed it without asking and that’s theft. She didn’t have malicious motives but it’s still theft. This should prove that she can’t trust Alya to follow instructions. Alya thought that since she and Marinette are friends that she could take liberties that she didn’t have and just take a miraculous and give it out like she was the guardian herself.
When akumas happen there’s no room for friend favors, it’s time for serious work and for Marinette’s plans fo succeed she needs precision. Marinette didn’t even NEED the Lucky Charm until after the battle was over because Alya interfered. The only reason they even won against Style Queen was because Hawk Moth cooperated. When Rena turned her back on Senti-Nino he could have just ambushed her and then went back to Hawk Moth with not one but TWO miraculous, and then could have dismissed Senti-Nino and made a Senti-Alya and used her to get to Ladybug. It would have been that fucking easy.
This should prove that NONE of the reserve heroes should have their powers back. ZERO. I said in one my recent posts that I was scared Alya was gonna want to be in on everything and want to be called in more often. Well Marinette just handed that to her today, and Alya and Trixx had agreed that Alya should be permanent. But here’s the thing:
Kwami are basically children with the power of GODS. Most of them just want to have fun. Trixx wanting to be out and about with Alya is NOT a good thing. ESPECIALLY when Hawk Moth knows her identity AND has a willing accomplice in Lila Rossi, who for all we know Alya still trusts is an ally to Ladybug. Especially since an ep that has Alya interacting with Lila after Marinette confessed to being Ladybug hasn’t happened yet. Nor do we know if Marinette told her about Lila and all her proof that Lila is lying that she couldn’t tell because of her identity, an identity that Alya now knows.
If Lila were to see that necklace she would get suspicious AF and it only takes one conversation with Hawk Moth to let her know that the pendant is the real miraculous and she’ll try to steal it for her own gain like idk, using illusions to make it seem all her lies are true and that there is proof to further isolate Marinette from her friends.
The code for the box should be changed or a whole new box should be made. Out of most of the Kwami, Barkk seems to be more responsible and would guard the miracle box a lot more efficiently. Alya wouldn’t be able to pull another stunt like she did in Optigami again. She shouldn’t be trusted now as a superhero ally period. Not out of maliciousness, but because she can’t be trusted to follow directions since she and Marinette are friends.
Also, I’m not racist for saying that anti Alya salters. I’m a black woman. Try me.

Yo! Imagine Chat noir finding out about the whole Rena Rouge permanent miraculous holder thing and her knowing Marinette is ladybug.
We are all expecting him to be pissed and angry about not being kept in the loop, but what if instead of anger he just accepts it.
Ladybug is relieved that he isn't mad and was worried how he would take it.
Chat noir smiles and says its fine.
"You are the guardian, so its expected that you do things differently now."
And things go on.
Chat noir still makes his jokes, but they seem a bit different. To everyone else, no one would notice. But Ladybug could tell something was off. They felt... staged. Almost as if they were obligatory as opposed to natural.
Chat noir still kept up his job, he was still chat noir, but his responses felt more... formal. It was gradual, the nicknames were slowly stopping being used. It eventually got to the point Chat noir wouldn't fist bump anymore, usually saying he needed to hurry back.
One time Ladybug asked him about it and he responded.
"You have Rena Rouge here anyway, you can fistbump her if you really need one." He said with a smile before leaving.
That comment seemed innocent, but was the equivalent of a verbal stabbing.
Ladybug decided to ignore that, it stung tho. But she was sure Chat noir didn't mean anything by it, right?
She had asked Rena Rouge about it. Having theories that Chat noir hates her.
Rena Rouge told Ladybug that Chat noir probably just has a lot going on in his real life and not to take it personally.
Ladybug rationalized that was probably it, she always was overthinking things. Alya was good at keeping her grounded.
_____________________________________________________________
So Ladybug decides to try and set up a patrol, just the two of them.
Chat noir politely declines.
"I can't really, besides I am sure Rena would be more than happy to do it. You can coordinate with her better anyway."
Ladybug insists that they haven't in a while. And that he can pick the day so it fits with his schedule.
"I think it would be better if you just patrolled with Rena Rouge."
"Why are you so insistent on that? Do you hate me?"
"No I don't hate you. If I hated every person that kept me from knowing things and dictated the rules I would have to hate my father too."
Ladybug realized that he was indeed bothered by things and she pushed.
"Just stop. I don't want to talk about this anymore."
"Chat noir we need to talk this though. We're partners."
"No, Rena Rouge is your partner. Im just the sidekick that has a handle on the humor department."
And he leaves.

Hi it's me coming again with a half-baked end card analysis
It's probably gonna be pretty obvious but let's start with he start: Marinette and Alya, showing Marinette choosing Alya as a permanent holder now despite the risks it entails (re: Hawkmoth knowing her identity). It's echoing what she told her just before, that since Alya knew about her identity, she could know everything now - she's becoming not only her confident, but a partner Marinette has chosen in her fight against Hawkmoth. Even Tikki and Trixx watching them seems to have the kwamis agreeing on this choice - with Trixx taking Plagg's place next to Tikki as it usually is to symbolise the ladybug and the black cat miraculous as the powerful ones.
Second thing (or first tbh but I'm analysing this in 2nd) that we see is the faces of Rena Rouge and Shadowmoth in the back. Hawkmoth has another target now, that he seems afraid of if his expression is to be trusted but of whom he also knows the identity of - it's not his hidden eye that we see watching her. The background of Paris' city behind him is also interesting: he can watch any of her movement in this city if he choses so. To get to Ladybug, he has a solution by getting to Alya first because he suspects she knows something. A confrontation of sort, not necessarily direct is definitely to be expected. Chat Noir's the least of his concerns now, despite him needing his miraculous just as much as Ladybug's.
Speaking of which - oh hey he's there in the end card now. While he hasn't been in a few of the end cards we saw despite having had a bigger role in the episode's fight than Optigami's. It could seem surprising he's there at all, really, though we know it's not a hazard and it says a lot:
First of all, he is so tiny in his little bottom right corner, overshadowed by the big place Rena Rouge's face is taking: it might not be Marinette's intention, but as of late she has been replacing his role as her partner by Alya and he is being completely overshadowed by her presence.
It's to remind us that despite him not being active in the episode, he is there, as a part of the team, and it's definitely foreshadowing for some future plot (or conflict at this point) to come: he has noticed too. He has noticed something was wrong, even if he seems quiet about it for now.
Marinette and Alya are both closer to Hawkmoth than Chat Noir on the picture: they aren't at the center, but far from him, indicating there's a gap that is clearly being made between them but that by doing so, they're exposing themselves more to Hawkmoth. Notice as well how Marinette's back is turned to Chat Noir: by opening up to Alya instead of him, she's unknowingly turning away from him and putting him aside a bit more. It could also indicate that it might be lived as a (albeit small and not in the "turning to the evil" kind of way) betrayal by him.
Lastly, we'll repeat again what Chat Noir told Ladybug in Truth: "I'm fine with you being the guardian as long as it doesn't change things between us."
Well, this episode clearly proved that things were changing, and the end card is not implying it this time but explicitly showing it even unlike the previous ones: bringing Rena Rouge as a permanent holder might be Ladybug the Guardian's choice and is probably a good one because she needs all the help she can get, but Chat Noir, her partner who has been there for as long as she had, never was consulted to have a say in this new change of dynamic and when all of this will explode, it's gonna be pretty bad - not only in terms of relationship issues, but I fear it might have bigger consequences and give an advantage to Hawkmoth as well.
