I've seen some "What if Emperor Seraphims" posts, almost exclusively about a Shanks seraphim, and while that's all fine and good I truly cannot believe that we're all sleeping on the sheer chaos the Whitebeard Pirates would cause if they found out about a Whitebeard Seraphim. Every single one of those motherfuckers is their father's child, you cannot tell me they wouldn't collectively enter a hivemind state of "Baby. Oooooh tiny baby." as soon as they laid eyes on that kid. S-Whale is like twice Marco's height and that is not stopping Marco from getting the fuck up there so he can pat the kid's head. If Izou doesn't get to make this child a warm snuggly coat right now immediately he is actually going to die. Haruta has already started teaching him how to play pranks.

I need to say that I love your writing very much. You're literally so amazing at describing characters and their emotions , their actions and the background as well!

Tho, If you feel comfortable enough - Can you make headcanon or drabble (choice is up to you) about Platonic!Roger Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates having a young crewmate that is very mature but is really self-sacrificial? By that I mean , they are not a fighter but don't want to be burden so they do anything they can to not be useless in their opinion?

So I did headcanons because I'm not good with drabbles. It's either 800-900 words minimum or nothing. I don't do drabbles. That being said, I hope you enjoy this, just remember this is just how I see them.

Roger Pirates

Roger totally pouts about you being very mature

You’re a kid, you should be enjoying life!

Orders the crew to give you as few chores as possible.

That’s not to say you don’t do plenty, just that Roger doesn’t assign it to you.

Constantly telling you to go have fun and enjoy the sunshine.

Part of you wants to, you want to make him happy, you kind of want to go have fun.

But what if you become a burden by doing so?

What if you cause trouble like Buggy and Shanks?

Nope! Not gonna happen!

And you go right back to helping out. 

Rayleigh has had to forcibly stop you before.

Actually picked you up, set you in a chair, and ordered you to enjoy a small dessert.

In his defense, you’d been working yourself pretty hard at the time.

The entire crew knows not to wake you in the morning unless necessary. 

It’s not that they don’t want your help, but they’re worried about you.

Rayleigh suggests a therapist. 

You got so caught up in taking care of things that you missed the appointments.

The crew honestly tries their best to get you to stop and relax.

They’ve seen you overwork yourself, it wasn’t pretty and they all felt terrible for not stopping you sooner.

You still find plenty to do though.

Them not telling you to help actually makes you feel worse. 

You’re being a burden by trying not to be a burden!

Rayleigh realizes this and you, Roger and Rayleigh reach an agreement.

You’re to do the chores you’re given and no more unless asked.

Buggy and Shanks aren’t allowed to ask you for help. 

You’re allowed to get the usual early wake up call, but you have to spend a mandatory 2 hours being a kid and having fun.

Your fun usually involves helping Crocus organize the infirmary or just talking with Shanks (and keeping him out of trouble).

Neither Roger nor Rayleigh are happy about it, but they accept that it makes you happy so they don’t say anything.

You tell them that you just don’t want to be a burden… They laughed.

They told you that you were a kid, the only thing kids should worry about is being kids, not about being burdens. 

Still, if doing a certain amount each day gets you to have fun later, they’ll take what they can get.

Whitebeard Pirates

Oh dear.

If you think Roger was bad, try dealing with his son.

Ace loves goofing off and causing trouble.

Haruta also likes causing trouble. 

The two try to get you in on their trouble very, very often.

Not that they do, but they’re really trying to get you to enjoy life. 

Unfortunately, watching them cause trouble and make messes only makes you want to do more.

Their jobs as commanders are important and they’re great fighters, but damn do they cause trouble for people. 

Marco, Izou, and Thatch help though. 

They keep you busy but also keep you from overworking yourself.

Thatch will give you easy tasks in the kitchen, Marco will give you simple tasks in the infirmary. 

It’s always stuff that’s ‘important but I just don’t have the time’. 

Izou helps in a rather odd way. He insists on spa days with you, says your company is relaxing, that he needs someone he can talk to but not like Ace or Thatch.

So you take spa days with him.

He actually really does like your company and it does help him relax, but it’s 90% for your sake.

Even Whitebeard has you help him. 

He’s 20 ft tall, Luffy literally fits in his giant hand! He needs someone to help him with small things. 

You’re young and small, so you do a lot of things he’s ‘too big��� for. Could he technically order things in his size? Yes, but that would be a lot of money when he has someone small who can do it for him.

At least, that’s what he tells people. 

You’re often busy this way but actually do very little work.

Which was their intention.

You’re a kid, they don’t want you being too grown up but they know if they try and stop you, you’ll find other ways.

So they keep you busy while making things easy. 

Organizing things, sorting produce, spa days, writing out various orders from the captain, reading off lists made by the commanders, all stuff that requires very little actual work but is still important to each of the commanders.

Ace and Haruta try to make their tasks fun as well.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it just annoys you.

Are they mocking you by doing this?

Whitebeard does have one very strict rule for you though.

No working after dinner, the time between dinner and bed is to be spent winding down and getting ready for bed.

Someone once caught you trying to clean the kitchen counters after dinner to make life easier for Thatch. 

Whitebeard ‘grounded’ you for a week. You weren’t allowed to help anyone with anything, you felt awful.

Ace and Haruta were assigned to you to make sure of that.

You never disobeyed the rule again.

It’s not that you don’t want to have fun, but you just really don’t want to be a burden to anyone. 

You spend some of the time after dinner just doing what you want to do.

Baby Ace

So I had this thought the other night.

Ace gets hit by a DF power that turns him into a baby for a while and everyone has to look after him.

He still has his logia power, so the first time he sneezes while being held by Pops, Baby Ace whole body either turns in to fire or flames just shoots off his body.

Baby Ace feels very content when he's in Marco arms, cause of Marco's warmth from his phoenix fire sooth Ace.

Marco will also sometimes make a nest out of blankets and pillows, then put a sleeping baby Ace in it, if he has paperwork to do and is looking after him.

He has peed on both Thatch and Hatura while they had to change him.

There are so many photos of Baby Ace, that the crew plans to use to embarrass him once he's an adult again with how cute he was.

Izou made him a little orange cowboy to protect him from the sun as his normal one is to big.

There is always someone on Baby Ace duty cause he WILL crawl everywhere and has a few close calls to nearly falling down stairs if doors are left open. He also needs someone watching him cause he crawls away and fallen asleep in a random place, making the crew panic till he found.

Everyone loves it when Baby Ace giggles/laughs when he's playing with someone or something.

They never have to worry about him not like food, he will eat anything given to him.

Baby Ace's favourite place to fall asleep at night is in someone's arms, preferably Pops arms cause they're big but any arms as long as he rocked as well.

When Ace returns to being an adult, he has no memories of his time as a baby, and goes red when everyone shows him photos of him as a baby.

Haruta was the youngest/only child in his family of nobles who was allowed to do anything he wanted; except for his true dream- to play music. His family forbade it, so he ran away and joined the Whitebeard pirates as a musician

Blamenco is Haruta’s biggest fan and always stores random instruments in his cheek pockets for sudden performances

Thatch runs over to Ace to hand him a pot full of water when he starts getting angry because he knows it reaches boil faster in his hands

Hi, could I ask for whitebeard pirates with a female reader that’s kind of like Yor Forger from Spy x Family? Socially awkward and aloof, has poor cooking skills(Poor Thatch having to not throw up to hurt reader’s feelings) but is super strong and polite!!

"I messed it up again, didn't I?" Dokucha sniffled, watching Thatch's face grow more more sickly as he try to down the food.

"Good Job, Thatch. You made our sister cry," Izou drawled, watching the scene before him leaning into the dining table and against his closed fist and a slight smile on his face as he watched the scene unfold.

"How despicable of you," Haruta snickered

"Quit with the yappin’, you idiots!" he sneered, glaring at his brothers.

"Ah, Dokucha, don't cry. It wasn’ that bad, it just had too much spieces," he fusses, turning to her

"It's okay. We both know I am no good in the kitchen," she sighed.

"Or the med bay," Marco called as he walked behind them.

"Or the med bay..." she mutters

"I'm sorry I have failed you as a sister!" she cried, hugging him.

"Look at you, Thatch, making a lady cry again," laughed Izou next to him with a similar mischievous grin.

"Hush ya gettin’ on my last nerve," he growls, snapping his head to them only to turn it right back at the sobs of his sister.

"You could never fail me, Dokucha; yer the best sister I could ever ask for!" He exclaims, rubbing her back in a reassuring manner

"You mean it?"

"He's a liar, Dokucha," Calls Izou

"You're lying to me?" Dokucha questioned, looking up at Thatch, a tremble on her lips

"N-No course not, they are just spouting nonsense."

"That's not what you said with her last dis-.

"Hey, Dokucha, did they ever tell you about the time Izou and Haruta went at it?" Thatch spoke promptly, cutting him off watching with a satisfied grin as her sobs stop at the news

"You were fighting?" she growled as she turned around slowly, glaring at the two commanders, who had wiped their smiles from their faces as they shook their heads

"Of Course not, Big sis; we were only training right Izou?" Haruta called nervously at the haunting glare the woman was sending the pair

"Yes, we were to be sent to an important mission, so we figured some training before leaving would do us good."

Thatch threw them a grin as he leaned over Dokucha's ear, whispering in her ear loud enough for the two to hear.

"Ahh heard they were callin’ each other quite colorful names, and that Marco had too patch up a couple injuries," he spoke with a smirk as he glanced at them.

"You know what? I believe that was Haruta; he was quite angry that morning," Izou commented.

"You traitor!" Haruta hissed

"Haruta..." Dokucha growled, glaring at the man

"Y-yes?"

"How many times have I told you not to fight with your brothers?" she snarled, slowly approaching the man who by now had shot out of the stool he sat on in favor of backing away from her.

"Come on, dokucha, it was just playful banter."

"Banter was it? I guess if you have enough energy to fight with your brothers, then you have energy for a training session with me."

"That's really not necessary."

"I insist, little brother," She chirps, throwing a dark grin his way as she drags Haruta off to the training ground.

"I'll get you assholes back for this!" He screamed back to the snickering men on the kitchen

"Oh-ho, you really do have energy. I'm sure you can do an extra long session then!"

"Wait, no, sis, I didn't mean that!" he wails.

Marco sighed, shaking his head as he drank his tea, looking at the other two disapprovingly.

"She is going to find out, you know; once she finds out you tricked her, she will be furious."

"Oh, come on, Marco, she won't know,I I won't say anything, will you, Izou?" Thatch spoke, glancing at the sniper

"If you remain quiet about me, I will remain quiet about you," he confirmed as they both turned to Marco.

"Leave me out of this," he grumbled, walking out.

"We got dirt on ya too, you know!" Thatch calls with a grin

"Oh? Do remind me, who does your checkups and heals you when you fight amongst each other behind her back or go into dangerous missions, and who keeps silent when you fall ill and don't tell her?" He drawled with a grin hidden behind his cup as he continued walking

"Maybe, let's include Marco in tha silent treaty," Thatch Mutters.

"Agreed"
