i genuinely loved that final scene so much though because these characters can judge boston all they want and blame him for all their relationship issues but now boston is a world away living a whole different life and they're all in solid stable relationships but the appearance one singular mix sahaphap has all of them drooling and offering to keep him company. like how do you blame boston for any of the mess this would cause.

it's also the biggest fuck you to the contractual obligation of giving the fixed pairs their happy ending because you can spend the whole episode showing how they're all happy and sorted and over their issues while nick and boston need to figure themselves out but you can also put mix sahaphap into a scene and say yeah it's a month after their very fun new year where everyone got along super well and their relationships were all great and solid and you can have ray dressed like sand and mew dressed like top but they will still all clamber over each other to get to mix and it just ENDS on that and there's enough plausible deniability but also WE KNOW. we know.

#it's a p'jojo flavoured fuck you to the limitations placed on him #i respect that man so much #i also had one singular thing i hoped happened in this episode #which was cheum acknowledging that she fucked up with boston #and the way she treated him wasn't okay #and we got that almost right off the bat #and then we also got this final scene #i loved it #i actually loved it #only friends #only friends the series #only friends series #ofts

Living somewhere that most things are in walking range or within simple public transit would genuinely fix so many of my problems.

#not driving is a huge source of my self confidence issues #but i like to be independent and get myself places. and i like to walk around alone.#I'd be more able to look into new jobs instead of having one so close to my house #alas those places sre very expensive to live in #devon yaps #also my ass could not live in NY. somewhere with the vibes like outside of Boston is perfect tho #by that i mean a little less crowded but still right near train stops and stores and food

looking up winter temperature numbers for other places is always a baffling experience for me. what do you MEAN boston's average january temperature is above -2° C???

#personal #i know on an intellectual level that i live in an extreme climate #but it is one thing to know that and quite another to get my head around it #boston is a Place That Gets Winter. they get snow. i am familiar with winter. i can guess what it's like!#i know it's not as cold as Here so i draw on my experience of going to university in Somewhat Less Cold Part Of Canada #it's probably around -10 right? and cloudy a lot? lots of freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw? frequent snowfall?#and then i check the numbers and go *surprised pikachu face*#wikipedia what do you MEAN the lowest temperature recorded since 1957 is -23C???? what??????? huh???????????? help #wikipedia surely -23C happens every winter in most places that get snow regularly. stop pulling my leg #i live in a Normal Place that gets Normal Temperatures
