What if: Officer knight shares control of Dog Man's body with Greg? Would this have changed some things like with Petey and Alice? What would he think of his/their new body?

That definitely leads to alot of questions but I think it's an interesting idea, especially for a au.

i love that dog man's name gives respect to both parts of him and for reasons undisclosed to me it makes me want to cry. of course its an obvious name choice because greg was the dog and officer knight was the man, but to think that both their actual names are carried on in dog man's legal name is so bittersweet to me. respecting and preserving both the dog and the man. (i sound ridiculous but it makes my heart swell)

I usually have nothing against headcanons, but unfortunately I have to interject here and spoil your day.

I know that many of you are already headcanon, and some of you may even think that it's canon that Petey's last name is "Duckhat" or that Dog man dosen't even have one but please, PLEASE, check the most important information about the character before you come up with anything

I don't know about you, but I always check information about a given fandom before I join it, and that was the case here, and as soon as I saw the movie trailer in September, I immediately went to the wiki to check information about the characters before I started watching the book on youtube. so I've always known that Dog man's full name is "Gregory Knight" and Petey's last name is "TheCat" (as one word)
