On Friday I will work my last day at my male-dominated job where although I am the manager I am constantly belittled and not taken seriously by people both above and below me. And on Monday I will start my new job where the administration is all female and most of my coworkers are women and I have never been more concretely sure that something will make my daily life better

Why do I have to be so attracted to older business men with greying hair and stern eyes? Men who know what they want and will do anything to get it, with loose morals and beholden to nobody but themselves. I want them to make me their toy, their mindless sugar baby who only exists to please them. I want to hide under their desk so I can service them while they’re working. I want them to ruin me…

Do you ever think about copy paper?

I sure don't, or didn't. But today I had to stand at the copier and print out 1000+ letters, which required refilling the paper multiple times. And so I was looking at the stacks of 500 pages of copy paper and realizing: this everyday product is a miracle. 500 sheets of paper, incredibly thin, perfectly smooth and white, perfectly cut edges in uniform size, so we can print out thousands of pages a day. For so long paper was expensive and hard to create. Now we have an almost infinite amount, and it's invisible.

And then I started thinking about mail and the labor that goes into printing and shipping all the letters that go into daily life. Bills. Receipts. Government forms (because the letters I was printing are a federally mandated requirement.) The grease of bureaucracy.

And I was also thinking about sustainability, and waste, and whether we're using more paper now with all these forms, or less because a lot of records ARE online now.

I have no idea. But none of it could exist without copy paper.

Yesterday was pretty decently great 👍

Total win. My only miss was not standing at my desk for a portion of the day.

I’ve been in a pony drawing mood all day so…

hi!! I have a ridiculous amount of lore when it comes to making ponies, which I am more than happy to explain!!!!

basically Pegasi: 1) don't have hard hooves like unicorns/earth ponies, which allows them to walk on clouds, 2) they also have small wings on their hooves, kinda like Hermes’ winged sandals (of Greek mythology). These also help enable them to stand on clouds/fly more aerodynamically. 3) I have an almost Darwinian approach with this one, but their coats all have gradient patterns so they can blend in with the sky. Ponies that are darker are more active at night & vice versa. and 4) it’s rare, but certain pegasi harbor actual light from either the sun, moon, or stars in a way that causes them to sparkle/give off a glow. (Not pictured here, but I have another character that is like this!)

And unicorn magic operates according to a similar principle as light sabers, wherein different classes of magic are different colors. (Ie, blue is intelligence, orange is creativity, gold luck, green nature etc..) and every unicorn's coat/mane/tail colors are based off what magic they harness (the magic literally flows within them) !!! If multiple kinds of magic flow within them, they can harness multiple kinds at once! This particular one can use intellect and luck!

This is all just really silly stuff that lives inside my brain, but I like thinking about it :]
