On Friday I will work my last day at my male-dominated job where although I am the manager I am constantly belittled and not taken seriously by people both above and below me. And on Monday I will start my new job where the administration is all female and most of my coworkers are women and I have never been more concretely sure that something will make my daily life better

#and I’ll be working on a farm! growing crops! learning about sustainable agriculture!#as opposed to guiding outdoor trips once in a blue moon and doing office work 80% of the time #and obviously any job will have its hardships but man!! this feels like a level up #also like I do love my coworkers and many are my friends. it just also has become obvious that they are deeply misogynistic #with no intent to change and none of my complaining or explaining has changed that so!#hasta la vista #my boss being so sad to see me go like… bro you have not enforced respect for my position #working with all guys is like working with little kids
