Had a kiiiinda rough weekend, because learning to keep boundaries and stop people pleasing is hard.

My mood was off. My nephews football game interrupted prime biking time. My gf came to the football game, which meant I didn't bike after either. We went to lunch, & then coffee. And then.... she posted some pictures, someone "care" reacted....and our date abruptly ended. And our movie date was later canceled. Idk, it made me feel weird.

On Sunday, I did make it to bike club. Went to breakfast at a waffle place. Afterwords I went home to get ready for my sam's club pickup.

My ex texted and asked me to come over to dinner. I asked the time, said an earlier time and then said to myself.... What the hell am I doing? Why am I even considering this? Am I really rearranging my whole fucking day to dinner with someone who treated me shittily.

So I corrected and said... Actually today doesn't work for me.

But then what? Was I so uncomff that I had disappointed someone that I spiraled?

But spiral I did.

I went to a Clothes Mentor...asked where the clearance rack was and the employee snottily replied oh we don't have THAT anymore.

So what? Who cares? It was jarring but weird. I went shopping anyway. I wanted some active wear. Bike shorts with pockets, bras, active shirts.

I loaded up. Went to checkout.

Idk 🤷‍♀️ It was fine. Someone else rang me up. I paid.

I was planning on running at the park later.

The run was sloggy. Slow. I wasn't into it & my legs were sore. I felt like people were looking at me. I didn't have my fanny pack.

I want to Sam's. Went home. Unloaded.

Proceeded to eat all the things:

There were 2 bowls of cereal.

That day was definitely off plan. Fuck!

So many sad thoughts. Weird.

This was another fun read! I loved that Fenn and Mason were complete opposites. Fenn was so grumpy and feral and Mason was so put together. I also liked that both of them were kind of in the midst of quarter life crises with a smidge of burnout thrown in. I really loved the small town feel that Whispering Key had. I loved the quirky residents and the absurdity of the island lore. Overall Off Plan was really fun and I��m giving it a 3.75 stars.

The cult of...Danny Fenton?

So! Way back when Danny first moved into his new neighborhood in Gotham, he had some trouble controlling his Powers. The different Types and Levels of Ectoplasm in the air when compared to Amity had thrown off his control.

He was used to being in places where his Ectoplasm meshed well with the Atmosphere, like a Water Balloon in a Pool, but in Gotham that analogy would be closer to a Water Balloon in the sewers. It was too different from what he was used to to fully control his Powers.

So it's understandable that he messed up a few times and his neighbors found out about his Abilities.

They took it well at first, Danny wasn't going to go Rogues or anything, and he never used them maliciously, but eventually they got curious.

They asked what his limits were, how he got them in the first place, and what the hell the Ghost Zone was. The answers "None Really", "I died and was reborn", and "A Collective of every Afterlife at once" did spark some interesting reactions from them.

Most importantly, a few of them joked about him being an Eldritch God that they needed to worship. He was good enough friends with them that at that point they felt comfortable pranking eachother, so they did just that.

Danny woke up one day on his birthday, and saw all of his friends and neighbors surrounding the makeshift Throne they had made and put him on while he was asleep. The entire day they chanted stuff like "The Great One requires Ms. Smiths Apple Pie for his day of birth!" And "The Great One Wishes for us to sing the Ritual Song! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birth-"

After his birthday, they kept up the joke.

It didn't help that his powers had evolved Again! And now he could bestow abilities onto his friends. The jokes they made about their God granting them Supernatural Powers to rule the world with were insufferable.

Then, one day while he was just resting at home, watching a movie on his TV, he felt a Pull at his Core. The same kind of Pull whenever he was being summoned. But why would they summon hi- Oh Shit! It's Mr Jenkins Party today! He was supposed to meet them at the Warehouse they used for special events an Hour Ago!

He quickly accepted the Summoning, but was met with a suprising sight. His Neighbors all tied up in a pile to his right, a spilled table of party food to his left, and right in front of him, Batman and his Family watching him with wary eyes.

Slowly, he opened his mouth. "...so, did you come for the party or..."

as far as one piece antagonists go Crocodile truly gets absolutely scooby-doo’d at unmatched levels

He immediately falls for a phone scam and from basically little garden to rainbase he doesn’t even know the strawhats are alive (and clowning towards him at incredible speed). As soon as he does, they’re in his house tearing at his walls and bringing marines into his villain lair.

He uses a literal floor trap door over a gator pit to catch them, gets phone scammed again, full scooby-doo chase scenes after Chopper through the streets while still missing him, and suddenly his prisoners have escaped his impossible cage, and his giant bananagators are dead. and Nico Robin saw it all happen.

He then spends rest of the arc complaining about those meddling kids and their dog “strawhat pirates and their weird pet” and at no point does he even know how many strawhats there are.

Like yeah he keeps having plans on top of plans to stop everything Vivi can do but also she keeps coming up with a new thing to do (Tom and Jerry ass dynamic).

Part of it is that he’s underestimating them and keeps grandstanding villain monologuing but also teens keep killing hundreds of his grand line bounty hunters and he straight up does not know what is happening.

Cause he IS trying to kill them he’s sending top assassins after them and ripping out luffy’s organs, the whole time he’s yelling HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? DIE. as whack-a-mole Luffy keeps inventing new ways to hit him.
