You watched the stars fall with your best friend and in the days that followed, you watched the world fall apart. The world down in the city is different than the world up in the mountains. No one expected it to end in the hollar. No one thought it would start in the church with a girl that bled starlight and the good Father himself.

But it did.

It ended and now you're stranded with your dog and your best friend and a world that is holy and trying to kill you. The only good thing is that you've got teeth of your own. Maybe you'll kill it first.

If nothing else, you're sure going to try. And you'll make your ma proud while you do.

of wolves is very much hardly even a concept yet, but i love the aesthetics of it and like, the potential of it so much. it’s by and large about a girl and her dog during the apocalypse, but it’s also about living in small, poor rural communities, and religion, and angels, and the undead, and girlhood, and boyhood, and and being justifiably and injustifiably angry
