Even more Odysseus Sees Ghosts:
His crew are ghosts. I had priorly mentioned I think they are 100% present for the attacking part of Six Hundred Strike, but you know what I need? I need them helping to restrain Poseidon as Odysseus goes feral stabbing him. Let’s recreate the chopping up of Ouranos with this- (can ghosts touch gods? Now they can)

Sup I’m back to feed you gremlins
🏺⚔️💗Aphrodite Danny and Ares Phantom💗⚔️🏺
So if you’re been here long enough you’ll realize this as one of my first ever au and for some of my newer readers I’ll explain but before I do I just have to say Danny and Phantom are two very different people and now I can explain let’s go
After a few months after Danny being ‘Phantom’ Danny starts to feel… protective of himself??? Which is weird but ok it’s probably his imagination but over the course of a few weeks it gets weirder not bad weird but weird nonetheless like when he goes ghost it feels like he’s not really the one in control of his body and sometimes when the other ghosts get to rough with him he can hear a voice yell but not really being able to tell what its saying and Danny like Danny do is just kinda ignoring all this stuff because it feels nice..? Like being in a protective hug and knowing the person hugging you will kill for you if it makes you happy and all is well
and good until his parents see him transformed in to phantom they knock him out and bring him to their lab and after a few weeks jazz finds out what is happening ( Maddie and Jack told her that they had Danny go to something I didn’t really know what they would say ) And get him out of his restraints and turns on the portal or well try’s to because at that moment Maddie and Jack and a whole fight goes on well Danny is trying to get the portal working and Maddie unfortunately gets a good shot at Danny as he turns it on and causing him to get thrown in and it makes the portal ( that has enough energy to take out this universe ) and it does that exact thing it takes out Danny OG universe (✨ANGST✨ and not that Danny knows that right now ) considering Danny is knocked TF out again but this time it feels different like he unconsciously knows whatever is holding him will protect him with their whole core….
And Danny wakes up a few weeks later [ he really needs to stop passing out it’s starting to get annoying ] and looks around the room? Well it looks like a room it’s big and spacious it also looks a Greek temple bedroom with large marble pillars that indicate windows { you get the image} and now that Danny looks around he sees that his laying on a frankly to big bed and it has a large canopy with fabric as Danny looks around someone enters the room and leans against the wall and looks at Danny with a soft smile and as Danny looks in their direction he sees…Phantom but he looks different he’s wearing Greek style armor [and looking HOT in Danny’s eyes so he’s a blushing mess for a hot minute] and as he makes eye contact with Phantom it feels like he and Danny have known each other for as long as they’ve existed and a few shenanigans happen and would you look that that a couple who are deeply in love with each other.
And for what Danny and Phantom are they are the New Ancients of Love and Protection respectively {yes I’ve decided to change Danny to the Ancient of love}
And Now to what inspired this thing in the first place and that would be the God Games song it goes to hard anyway if you listened to it you can tell Athena has to convince the gods to let odysseus go and I thought “ what if I turned this into dc X dp and what tf is this??” Proceeds Down the rabbit hole that is pitch pearl and now you all have this word vomit I call a post and before I ramble even more let’s get to the DC part before this gets to long
Now for the DC part someone gets on the bad side of one of the Ancients and gets got and now the JL has to convince some of the Ancients you know like ( clockwork, frostbite, pandora etc) and of course Danny and phantom are there as the Aphrodite and ares part of the song. And that’s all I can think of the DC first the moment now on to the details of Danny and Phantom
For Danny I’m thinking something like this
Tumblr media
Looking all majestic and shit ( also just imagine that his hair is black)
Also just a pic of phantom and Danny
Tumblr media
They have the healthiest relationship you’ll ever see
And also if you want to make this as mom Danny you can have Dani and Dan as Phobos and Deimos just ima thought { forgot to add this in the beginning }
Anyway I hope you guys like this { P.S will add more if I feel like it} byeeee

Forgot to mention this before but the ghosts on the ghost au are tied to Odysseus and can't go too far away from him so that's the only reason perimedes and elpenor stay around, Odysseus is their only way to see the living world again, this is also the excuse eurylochus used during his first days visiting Odysseus, he didn't want to accept he still cared about him

Some (bad) art I made for my series on Ao3: Hail, the Conquering Hero, under the name Akulreas. This account is actually a side blog (not even it’s own blog, just a side one) because my main account is followed by my sister and I’m sorry, but I am not letting her see the art I made for a Percy Jackson/Epic the Musical fanfic that I wrote. Here’s the link, by the way, since this makes little to no sense without the context of the AU:
Basic summary: ghost Odysseus and Perseus end up haunting Percy and become his New Dads™️ (Poseidon fucking DESPISES them)
Do I know how anatomy works? No. Am I going to learn it all? Maybe. Am I going to learn it all for some silly little sketches I made for my fic? Of course not. People who actually know how to draw anatomy (or just draw in general), I sincerely apologize.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one was because of a Tumblr post I saw at 11:00 PM and I thought ‘oh, this fits them perfectly’ and then spent thirty minutes drawing this before immediately going to sleep. First time I ever drew Percy. Never again. (The first guy’s Perseus, by the way. Second guy is Odysseus.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This happened because I was talking with someone who was commenting on Like A Victorious Hero and they mentioned a scenario where Zeus attempts to hug Perseus and Perseus immediately starts cursing him out and telling him to go away. It tormented me for about a week before I gave in and drew it since I didn’t feel like writing it out. I chose Neal Illustrator’s Zeus design for it and if you look at Perseus for like, two seconds, you’ll see some minor similarities (mostly the hair).
Maybe I’ll add some more another day. Not now, though, because it’s late and I’m tired. Please don’t kill me, I know I’m not Good At Art.
Edit: this is my hundredth post on this side blog. Oh my gods, I don’t remember reblogging that many things??

Odysseus' character analysis & how we overlook his trauma
Okay, this will be a long post about Odysseus and what could be happening in his head after his return to Ithaca because I really need to share these ideas <3
During the last few days I've been thinking about the whole Poseidon-obssesed-with-Odysseus concept (thanks to @rin-solo for inspiration :)), and that's how I recalled one headcanon of mine about Odysseus and his possible perception of his conflict with Poseidon.
A disclaimer first: I know that Epic is sometimes historically and culturally inaccurate, but! I want to include some of the cultural norms of ancient times because they will make things much more interesting.
So, since early August I've had an idea that Odysseus' personality during the post-Odyssey timeline would be heavily influenced by PTSD. That's just reasonable: the war takes its toll on the person anyway, especially on the warrior like Odysseus. He saw the nightmares of the Trojan War, lost his comrades and faced things that made him lose his sleep.
I actually like how Odysseus' trauma is depicted in Epic. We have these parts with the voices of Polites, Eurylochus and Anticlea and see just how much these losses affected Odysseus (take the ending of "Love in Paradise"). But instead of focusing on the losses like the musical does I'd rather talk about those who had caused them. It's a curious thing about the mentality of those who survived the war and similar events: their mind tends to demonize and hate those who caused pain deeply. It produces the ultimate hatred that is able to overcome any other feeling. This is the idea that I want to pursue in my Monster AU (might write about it later because that's another long talk) about the overwhelming feeling, produced by trauma, that can't be distinguished. And Odysseus is the only character in the story who has endured that twenty-year long nightmare: his comrades from the Trojan War didn't have the decade of journey back home behind their backs, and those who sailed with Odysseus died.
But there's one more layer to this scenario. While we've covered the idea about the war victim demonizing the aggressor, we can't forget that we're talking about the religious society of ancient times. Poseidon and Zeus are the two godly villains of Odysseus' story. However, they're also the god of the tides, who must've been one of the most widely worshiped in Ithaca (since it's an island... yeah), and the King of the gods.
That leaves Odysseus in an even more complex situation. Because he most likely highly respected both of them for his whole life. Eventually, they left Odysseus ruined. The people of Ithaca didn't stop worshipping them, and Odysseus has to follow the same religious rituals and celebrate annual festivities, which definitely reminds him of what had happened.
Once again, no one understands what he's gone through. Even Penelope and Telemachus, no matter how supportive they are. Thus, the trauma is left unseen and unhealed. Too bad there was no therapy in the ancient world, Odysseus would've needed it.
Finally, this whole set of reasons serves as a perfect background for deep and tragic obsession with those who hurt him and inability to let go of the past. Do the voices fall silent after Odysseus defeats all the enemies? No, they probably don't. Because even though physically Odysseus is already home, mentally, he's still fighting with the ghosts of his enemies. This is a desperate feeling that belongs to a broken man who no longer fits into society like he used to. And it eats him alive, kills him from the inside. No ruthlessness or bloodshed can help Odysseus to run from this despair. It fact, they might only make it worth by reminding who made him a monster! :)
Generally... this is pretty much it. The whole idea of all-consuming despair and trauma is what I've wanted to pursue here because I find it very natural in terms of everything that Odysseus has been through. I'd also like to analyze the whole Vengeance saga (especially my fav Six Hundred Strike) from this perspective because it actually makes perfect sense for me, but that's one more long post of another time lmao.

So the Underworld Saga came out and I think in the Kid on Board AU their be a point where little Astyanax just be running to Odysseus and sobbing because this one ghost would say awful things and not leave him alone, Odysseus sees the ghost and recognizes it as Hector
YESYESYES!!! Odysseus was too stun to speak
I see it like this
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Still, I think Hector was happy to see his son alive (even if he wanted to hit Odysseus in the face)

I see a lot of aus of tgs, and i think we need more ,so here im giving some ideas for aus because im too lazy to write them
THE SCIENTISTS CATALOGUE
"Some creatures called the alternates start appearing more and more in the world, Englad is not a exception."
So basically an au crossover with tmc. Where the society tries to survive the alternates(and maybe some died trying too). Other ideas could also be Hyde being an alternate and killing the lodgers one for one or Jekyll dying saving the lodgers from an alternate who enter the society and becoming a ghost.
EPIC X TGS
An au where the characters change places with the characters of epic the musical. Jekyll being Odysseus and Lanyon being Penelope or reversed, Hyde being Hermes, Frankeistein being Athena, Jasper or maybe a child fan oc could be Telemachus, and the rest you can decide.
And thats are all the aus i could think of, if i think of more im gonna post it, bye 👋

I'm gonna yap about my au because I can and I'll go insane if I don't/j
I made a au called the haunted au (very original)
Where after thunder bringer Odysseus gets haunted by his crew below is the cast I have so far and there ghost types
Polties: normal ghost (Kasper the ghost type thing)
He poesses Odysseus at one point Odysseus eye color changes depending on who's poessinh him if your reading this and wanna draw my au just use whatever eye color you use for polties his mood also changes (self explanatory)
Eurylochus: poltergeist
Will occasionally either sing or speak some lines from mutiny and luck runs out
That's all I got for now art is welcome and also writer just tag it as the haunted au and tag me in it so people know it's my au if you ever draw or write about it
Also only Odysseus and the gods can see the ghosts everyone else thinks he's crazy

If in dead royalty au hades is dead that means melinoe never born?
Yes and no.
I mean, Melinoe is not born as Zagreus' sister for obvious reasons in this AU. But she could be born as the DAUGHTER of Zagreus for example.
Let's say that Melinoe is the daughter of Zagreus with Consort in this AU (because 1-consort can have any appearance we want and 2- so we don't change Melinoe's cool design much), the firstborn, the current princess of the Underworld and the heir of Zagreus.
She would probably still be trained by Hecate, although I can definitely see Zagreus insisting that someone like Odysseus, Patroclus or some hero like Pentisilea train her and have more experience outside of magic.
Melinoe definitely changes her personality in this AU as Cronos does not happen (at least not that type of enemy, I will see in another post what the villain of the second game would be), here Melinoe is still focused and determined, yes, but it is a lot more relaxed and calm as there is no constant threat.
Zagreus, as I said in another Post, would love his children very much and would try to be the father that he could not have in Hades. Therefore, Melinoe holds her father and mother/dad/parent in high esteem, she loves them very much.
but it doesn't mean that they don't have problems like in everything. Zagreus becomes tougher as he ages, especially when it comes to the safety of his family, so he tends to be a little too protective. which leads him to be aggressive towards anyone he considers a threat to the Underworld and/or his family.
Melinoe thinks this is excessive and sometimes it leads them to argue. but hey. nothing that cannot be solved (let's say she only accepts certain measures when it comes to Consort since they is not a god by birth, but the rest? overwhelming)
I think that thanks to this Melinoe is more likely to tell things to Consort first, because they are not as overprotective as Zag, but it doesn't really mean that she doesn't trust him, she just doesn't want to worry him.
Overall, they are a pretty cute father and daughter duo.
Can you imagine that just as Melinoe can control the Shades, she could also see the "ghost" of Hades when she was little? Zagreus' reaction would be interesting.
_____
Si y no.

The Outsiders x EPIC : The Musical -
so i was listening to the new EPIC saga yesterday and naturally, because i can’t listen to music w/o relating it to my hyperfixations, i started thinking about the outsiders. specifically, i was listening to luck runs out and my friend and i were talking… and we were like “this song is so soda talking to darry about going to war,” so this sparked this post!
so i got to re-listening to the entirety of epic and was thinking how much it fits if soda were to genuinely survive the war but come back only a shell of himself… so this is what were going with.
(i will say before we even begin, i have limited knowledge on the vietnam war so if some of this is vague or inaccurate, forgive me)
i think there two ways you could picture this, a greek mythology au and realistic, vietnam war au. i was thinking, if we’re talking in reality standpoint, all the gods or even monsters are visions in soda’s mind (due to ptsd, other mental illness gained from war or physical injuries) as he’s traveling and committing more and more violence. is some of this a strench…? yes but this is js for kicks and giggles, humor me here lolol
either way, these are my assignments of characters. i need you to HEAR ME OUT (there’s explanations of songs under the list of characters) on these -
odysseus : soda
polites : steve
eurylochus : tim
zeus : dally
polyphemus : ……..bob
athena : darry
aeolus : cherry
circe : marcia
hermes : two-bit
penelope & telemachus : ponyboy & darry (these can be switched, doesn’t matter rlly)
calypso: sandy (…get it, cause calypso lives on an island)
poseidon : dally
tiersus : johnny (cause i HAD to include him somewhere)
song and character explanations under cut ~
song explanations :
the horse and the infant - i like to think that, while it was awful and so much worst than soda could of ever imagined, because of his constant optimism and general skills, he was someone many of his fellow soldiers looked up to. i’ll get into details when i get to luck runs out, but if we’re relating this specifically to epic, making him apart of the navy would work best (being all the time they spend traveling and at seas). anyways, therefore, overtime, due to his higher morale and just general skills, he gets a higher rank and a crew to care for. soda is rallying his crew for an attack, and thinking of who he was fighting for, ponyboy and darry.
now this is where it would differ from a greek mythology au, but just for the sake of making it easier on myself, this is the more realistic possibility. i like to think that being how in epic, this is the end of the trojan war, this would be a kind of flash forward, after soda had already been dealing w all this trauma. but, as i’ve mentioned, i like to envision dally‘s ghost (a vision soda has of him at least) as zeus, specifically before soda has to do something terrible to the enemy. dally is like, “you’re in a war man, just *do it*.”
for a less interesting but more realistic answer, you could say zeus was one of soda’s commanding officer or something but that’s less fun lolol
anyways, this is the beginning, as it is for odysseus, of soda completely losing his innocence.
just a man - (tw for child-related violence and war crimes) so, as it is in epic, you could picture this as an enemy leader’s son, and how this boy reminds soda of ponyboy in a way. this song is kinda self explanatory tho, soda takes this blow, and this guilt plagues his mind for the rest of the first act.
full speed ahead - so, with the vietnam war, there was an insaneeee draft process. and in relation to the story, those who were poor were more likely to be drafted than those who were going to college and able to pay tutition, being how they got an exemption from the draft. so i think the idea as tim of all people getting drafted and getting put under soda’s command (which is a shock to both of them) really interesting, being how we never really got to see their dynamic in the outsiders. so having tim, whose more on the ruthless side, as soda’s right hand and being more quick to violence makes sense to me. on the other hand, my favorite character headcanon, steve as polities. i think the idea of steve not giving a second thought to following soda into war makes a lot of sense, and being how soda had more of a responsibility on his shoulders, steve keeps more of his naiveness and “innocence” than soda does.
open arms - my stevepop heart loves this so much. over the time of war, soda became less and less like his normal self and steve knows that. he could always tell. so once they finally have time to themselves, he tries to remind soda of how life used to be, how there’s still good. the roles switch from soda normally being the optimistic one, reassuring everyone else, to steve doing the same for him. they mean sm to your honor :((
warrior of the mind - now, from a plot standpoint, i can fs see this as what soda pictures how darry would think of him now, or even how ponyboy would. soda kinda flashes back to their childhood, how both darry and soda were really close when they were kids, being how they both balanced each other out. but after their parents died, darry became a parental figure instead, athena-like you could say.
but ignoring plot, i think song really fits darry and ponyboy, espically with the “don’t disappoint me” and “he’s a warrior of the mind” because of ponyboy’s academic achievements.
polyphemus - now do i know how this would fit into the plot to be honest.. i just think the idea of bob (bob’s ghost if you will) or some soc showing up in soda’s path makes sense.
butttt once again, if you want something more realistic, you could make it someone on the enemy side.
survive - soda just seems like he’d be hella good with battle morale and strategy, what can i say? …also, as much as it breaks my heart, steve following soda into war and dying an early death makes sense but is equally as heartbreaking ;(
remember them - i think the slow fade-in near the beginning of the song gives very big soda energy. disassociating but then switching right back into gear (masking emotions for the sake of others) is something that comes natural to him. i also commented on this earlier but for as much as soda calls himself dumb, i think his street smarts are really good and being able to talk his way out of things or tricking people into believing lies is something he’s great at (which makes sense in context of the cyclops plot). plus the stupid decision of having mercy on…bob, a soc, an enemy, idfk, and then telling them his name makes more sense in the context of just losing steve and therefore making rash decisions because of this sudden lose.
my goodbye - soda seeming to “lose” darry’s positive view of him, at least in soda’s mind, because of all he had done and lost. this, of course, is simply what soda thinks darry would say if he was there. because of this, he pushes the “what would darry do?” mindset out of his head.
storm - not much to highlight in this song except for how soda is a badass captain™️
luck runs out - now of course, i keep mentioning this song as the beginning of this war au because while s.e. hinton technically said soda was drafted, i think it’s very possible that soda and his optimism view on life would easily be more swayed to propaganda to enlist rather than be drafted. plus, with becoming a soldier, a certain amount of money is given to you monthly (at least i think-). this, i think, is another pro to the idea of enlisting in soda’s mind because he wants to help better provide for his brothers.
but generally plot wise, soda taking on this positive mindset of “i can just go and ask for help” is almost a tribute to steve and what he wanted. but on the other hand, you have tim, who knows that not everyone is as welcome to help, especially after dally died from police brutality.
keep your friends close - not much to say about this either but for the fact that aeolous being cherry is very fun to think about. while the meaning of this lyric means very different things in the context of the outsiders versus epic, the line “keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” does really fit with cherry. ponyboy being the “enemy” that she quickly befriends and keeping him close. but soon, she starts giving info to the greasers, the socs in her eyes almost becoming the real “enemy”. might be wrong though, interpret it however you like, i just think it fits cherry!
also the “everything’s changed since polities” line really fits into how i think soda would grieve for steve while still at war. he has to stay strong for his crew but they all sense, *know* something’s off with soda, and put the pieces together that this is because of steve. without steve, soda doesn’t have as high of a morale on life in general, and therefore the crew doesn’t. which fits in with them (kinda accidentally) turning on him.
ruthlessness - now HERE ME OUT HERE, if bob is the cyclops, rather than dally seeing him as a “son”, him being like “you had mercy on a SOC.” but the “you had mercy on the enemy?!” also works. just in general, i think dally’s memory coming back to haunt soda, espically paired with dally also being zeus, is fitting honestly. while dally wasn’t always ruthless, we gotta keep in mind in this au, this is in soda’s mind. these “gods” or visions of people he once knew, in my eyes, are people coming back to haunt him in his most shameful state. no matter what dally would’ve really said, i picture soda thinking how disappointed the people he loved most would be in him if they saw him in that very moment. also, “ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves” is SO dally.
puppeteer - now again, being how circe is a witch, it’s a bit hard to fit this into a realistic setting but i js thought having marcia as her would be fun bc paired with…
wouldn’t you like - two-bit as hermes, i just think i’d be hilarious. i like to picture this as soda and two-bit on two ends of a phone, and for whatever reason, marcia is there distracting the crew from their goal. soda on one line would be like “so do you know of a soc named marcia” and two-bit on the other end like, “OMG WE WENT OUT ONE TIME, this is how to scare her off”
done for - self-explanatory, not much to say here tbh. marcia’s just iconic.
there are others ways - (with my stevepop heart) if like to think that *right after* steve’s death, it would be pretty much impossible for soda to be “seduced” as well as the idea of pony and darry waiting for him would keep him focused on the end goal in that moment.
the underworld - i kinda like the idea of the underworld not being the actual underworld but a very dark and dangerous place, with the visions of the dead and soda’s past traumas coming back to bite him in that moment. the line between reality and fiction is a hard line to draw in that very moment. ALSO STEVE AND SODA’S MOM😭😭
no longer you - you know i HAD to include him somewhere, so here’s johnny finallyyyyy. i don’t really have much of an explanation other than being johnny’s quieter personality, him seeing everything in a way, him being tierras just makes sense.
monster - soda losing his mind finally and willing to do anything to drive these ghosts of the past out of his mind and get home to his brothers. self-explanatory :)
being how all the songs aren’t out yet, i’m just gonna stop here. thanks for listening to my yapping my boredom has created :) enjoy listening!

An addition to my Odysseus’ Sees Ghosts AU idea!! When the ghosts appear during Get in the Water and Six Hundred Strike, I need Odysseus eyes wide as he is falling under the waves, and the ghosts seeing and trying to help. Odysseus is so close to death himself they can practically touch him. Then when he attacks Poseidon I need the ghosts appearing for the 600 Strikes, and maybe they are invisible to Poseidon? (Or not- he is a god after all) but they help Odysseus attack Poseidon.

Hey. What are you doing up I just saw you reblog my post. Its late and you have school tomorrow.
I am up because I just had an epiphany about what if Epic was just 40 college students who had to go on a road trip because they got suspended for pranking another rival college too hard (Troy) and the baby that was thrown out a window was the other colleges RA's art project he been working on for two years. Then the RA found out and got Ody evicted so he told his gf to move in with his mom and little cousin (five year old Telemachus) while Polites (the rich friend) takes them an a boat trip to hopefully the Caribbean. Ody can see ghosts (gods), Eurylochus was discharged week 12 of Marine Corps boot camp because he covered up some of his medical history to get in, Odysseus is way too chill about not having any house or job while Eurylochus is scraping together money with the rest of the people to buy food, Meanwhile Polities is doing a tiktok series called 'Day __ of living life with open arms' the entirety of Epic but its a college au with more and more supernatural elements all told by the form of tiktoks/yt shorts
Anyways how was your day.
Oh! And Make sure to sleep! Stay the best (must be easy for you) and remember that you deserve happiness. *hugs you tight for as long as you need, a few seconds to forever*
"how am i" can pretty much be summarized by "has done no homework, is unsure of what is and is not real, is terrified of going to sleep, and is listening to a playlist called 'definitely not crying over a breakup rn' and feeling emotions"
but your au sounds cool
i hope you get lots of sleep
i dont think im going to get much
not tonight
not right now
i dont want to lose track of whats real again
i dont want to dream again because im not sure if ill wake up this time or if life will become a dream and the dream will become my life and ill finaly lose full understanding of what is and isnt real
so yeah
fun times all around

A Christmas Carol Au but
Eurylochus is visted by three God's during Keep Your Friends Close being warned that all the crew will die if he doesn't push for Odysseus to communicate with him better and he doesn't keep the crew in check.
He's first visted by Polites warning him of what will happen if he opens the windbag and warning him he'll be chained down and doomed to wonder Styx like he is.
Then the three God's.
Athena visits him first showing Eurylochus scenes of his childhood with Odysseus + Polites and when he met Ctimene.
Aphrodite visits next showing what's happening in Ithaca with the suitors and revealing Ctimene who is getting put in danger the more she visits Ithaca. Then she shows how vulnerable Ithaca has become.
Finally Hermes appears with Tiresias by his side who shows Eurylochus: Ruthlessness, Syclla, Mutiny and then to the darker parts.
Tw: Sw
1: Eurylochus sees his older brothers in Same and they laugh and mock Eurylochus for not trying to find a way out of the war like Odysseus did.
2: He sees a grave and Odysseus putting flowers on it and lighting a candle. Ctimene buts in saying he has no right to be there after he's the one responsible for destroying her world.
3: Ctimene stands on the dock with a necklace in her hand, a necklace Eurylochus gave her. She jumps into the ocean apologising to Eurylochus for failing him.
4: Sees the grave and realises it has items he owned surrounding it.
Eurylochus wakes up
So then when Odysseus tells the crew to not touch the windbag Eurylochus immediately pulls Odysseus aside and they negotiate with each other sleeping shifts to protect the windbag.
Athena comes back and negotiates with Poseidon to only leave Odysseus with a lost arm and no chance to ever leave Ithaca again.
Happy ending au yay.
It's still messed up as Dickens version but this specific au is blending the Mlp FIM and Christmas Carol VHS.
oooh I love this au idea! I find it funny that it took eurylochus being visited by gods and a ghost for Odysseus to communicate with eurylochus
if I have time(and I remember it) I might draw a few things about this :)

Tomb Raider AU: without a radio on her, Ava tries to leave messages to Bea.
She can't leave any clues on how to actually find her, since there's over a hundred people with bad intentions looking for her and only one Bea, but she still spends a significant amount of her time trying to create little tokens of significance from basic survival gear, the junk she finds on the island, and the few personal possessions she has left.
She can't say "find me here," but she can say "I'm still alive, don't give up," and if she can somehow find the right combination of symbols and hidden meanings in the private language they share between them, maybe she can even manage "I love you."
(And then all she can do is pray Bea will find some of them *while* she's still alive.)
ava with her bow and her arrows and her improvised crutches untangling an old parachute from a tree, winding up all the strings and separating them from the ruined harness. she tries to ignore the traces of blood on the many straps and buckles.
she's good at that now, stepping past the blood.
it takes her an hour to rig the big rippling expanse of half-shredded parachute, letting the strings trail from the bottom and attaching some pieces of wood to the ends, as anchors.
first, ava sets it down on the forest floor, takes out the sharpie she always kept in her back pocket, mainly so she could write “lilith sucks my dick” on every possible wall and/or countertop back on the ship. cap between her teeth, legs twinging but letting her kneel without too much protest.
she’s been leaving messages on walls, picking the driest sections, using sharpie and deer blood to write out vague messages. just in case.
she saw the flare go up over the radio tower, but it could have been anyone. never mind that the streak of reddish fire made her stumble, looking at the comet-tail shape like Odysseus looking at the shore.
it was beautiful, but that doesn't mean it was her.
beatrice could be dead, washed up in the surf and picked over by crabs, birds, wolves.
there’s no reason to think she isn’t, except that ava’s not sure what she’s fighting for out here, if it’s not to get back to bea.
to the way she’d sit on her bed and offer one earphone to ava, scrolling through her playlists with a deft flick of the thumb. how she’d fall asleep over her books and put her boots up on the bed.
her secret stash of cookies and protein bars for when it was lilith’s turn to cook.
ava was just as bad, dumping plain tomato sauce onto spaghetti and then burning it to the bottom of the enormous pot, but bea always turned up to eat.
“you don’t have to pretend it’s good, just to make me feel better.”
bea, shrugging, “no i-i like it.”
she has to believe that beatrice is alive, because no one else would understand the messages she's scattered in her wake
‘miss your mint oreos <3’ and ‘i can’t believe you still listen to dubstep’
‘lilith sucks my dick’
this time, ava has a plan. she takes out her sharpie, writing in big broad strokes. the parachute ripples in the wind, trying to tug out from under her.
when she’s finished, she wraps the whole thing up into a careful ball and sticks it into her backpack. it’s bea’s - plain and black and mended in a couple of places. she stitches like a pro.
ava carries it up as high as she can climb, to a cliff with an old tori gate or something sticking out at the end. there’s a view from here down through forest, all the way to the ocean.
she smooths out the parachute, careful not to let it catch the wind. kneels down with it and presses her lips against the fabric, “please let her see this.”
and then, holding one side of the gate for support, legs sore and shaky from the climb, ava casts her line out over the island.
the strings whistle through her hands as she stands, waiting until she feel the ghost of an enormous tug before letting the little blocks of wood on the end fall through her hands. they’re not heavy, but they’re enough.
the parachute holds shape, whipping out over the forest, showing its message huge and bright against the morning sky.
hey bea, it reads. i’m alive

🏛️CREEPYPASTAS AS GREEK MYTHOLOGY FIGURES💯
I’m not actually sure if someone has done this before but I was js having a brainrot and got this idea tbh, should this have stayed in the drafts? maybe💀, but I really wanna hear others thoughts and opinions on it cause AGHH. I eat up AU content so I thought I’d try making my own even if it’s flops. Most of this is up for interpretation cause I had WAYYY too many ideas/alternates for these.
Okay here we go yap time
(No no you can’t tell who’s my favorite….)
No warnings!!
Ben-HERMES 🪽
For Ben I was really thinking of someone leaning more on the playful/mischievous side cause i feel that’s a huge part of most people’s headcanons for him (including mine).
I thought who better than Hermes cause if ur a fan of EPIC (Circe saga specifically 🤓☝️) I felt that Jorge Rivera really protrayed Hermes with a playful/childish demeanor and even if was helping Odysseus he was like “yeah ur probs gonna die anyway bud” and it kinda resonates with Ben cause he’s just in it for shits n giggles tbh.
Being the god of messages I feel like Ben would have a lot of fun spreading misinformation around the mansion (or wherever if the mansions not ur thing 😔).
Also in a way I feel like it’s the same thing with his powers and tech savvy skills. I remember seeing a few people on here hc his job was security cams and stuff so he knows the shit you’re up to😰
Yk wether it’s sending emails under rando accounts or discord messages about his latest obsession he’s not afraid to SEND👏THAT👏MESSAGE👏
In general I feel like one could argue he’s unfiltered tbh
ALSO ALSO flying shoes = floating ghost 🤔
I feel Ben could definitely be capable of showing empathy/giving help to heroes in need and stuff but overall he’d just prefer to get into mischief and do things for his own benefit.
He brings a lot to the table! (that is if you can clear off the Pokémon cards and Zelda figurines)
For example, if there was a mansion in this au (the world they live in is up for interpretation cause I love the idea of Ancient Greece but I’m loyal to the cringe mansion I love dearly 😔)
Teleportation comes in handy for when slender decided to give out hand-written letters that come with Cheeto dust fingerprints(Ben swears they were there before) (they were guys dw bout it…)
Something else I’ve seen on here is that he’d float to make himself taller and i will take this to the grave idc if i die on this hill.
SUPPOSE they had outfits and he had to be pried off the hot topic isles and link getup. I genuinely do not think he’d fw the sandals im sorry 😔. He’d slap something else on and call it a day. Or maybe not tbh..he’d think they’re cool.
I feel like outside of this AU he’s a bit of a chatterbox so..IN this AU he’d probably use deliveries as a way to talk the ear off and bother hang with his friends and fellow Creepypastas.
Anyways, in summary Ben can impish and irresponsible but he’s a master of his craft and if there does end up being heroes to guide he wouldn’t hesitate to…interfere.
“You want to beat her? You’ll need the blessing of a certain god, divine intervention, someone who’s not afraid to..send a message”
Nina-CALYPSO🐚
Nina my beloved scene girl this one’s for you
First order of business shout out to @jeffthekillerzblog and his au about Ben, Jeff and Nina’s arcs I love them sm. The whole idea of her getting over Jeff and sort of becoming her own person without him is awesome and I can definitely see it in my au too.♥️♥️
I chose Calyspo because when met with Odysseus she was instantly head over heels, turning into a kind of obsession and yearning for company😔👏(yeah same)
I think Calypso’s whole idea of “I love you and I think I’ll die without it” resonates with what Nina used to be with Jeff and her need for his affection.
Although I don’t really think Nina would necessarily keep a partner as a hostage on an island I think she tends to feed into that kind of delusion of a healthy relationship when desperate for attention
In terms of style and aesthetics Calypso and Nina are pretty much opposite (Nina scene style I am loyal to you) however in this au I’d think she’d wear a lot of pink layered robes and fun jewelry. I like to keep style up for interpretation just cause it’s fun.
Ultimately Calypso does do the right thing and lets Odysseus go,(with pushing from Ben Hermes) I do think at heart Nina knows it isn’t right but she still longs for love.
It gets lonely on an island okay?🤨
“Tell me though, who’s Penelope?”
“She’s my wife…”
“…”
“Anyways! I’ve got all you could want here, all you could need here..just you and me my dear, my love for life!”
EJ-HADES🪦🥀
ALRIGHT. Here’s the thing, at first I wanted to choose Slenderman for this because it just felt right. However I wanted to choose Ej instead because I took into account the storyline with Persephone. (Also with Jeff and smile dogs friendship I was thinking him too cause smile dog could be his Cerberus ugh😔)
From my interpretation of others HCS and mine I definitely see Ej as a lone wolf so what better place to be dark and ominous than the underworld itself?
Dramatically staring out into a sea of souls while Chappell Roan , Radiohead plays in the background/j
I do think Ej would enjoy the isolation and in my hc he’d rather hide away from the others because of his demonic nature, and nobody there to pester him (besides Ben with his emails of course).
Anyway, going back onto the Persephone storyline because it was a dealbreaker between Slender and Ej.
I thought about which one would really want to seek love. In past HCS of slender I’ve seen that he is in fact capable of caring (if ur a fan of the mansion and believing he collects traumatized children like Pokémon or infinity stones) .
So, let’s say Slender is actually capable of caring, would he really wanna go seek love? I kinda see him as a single dad but I’ve debated it tbh. For now I’m just going with single dad who’s not interested in romance but rather power.
So that left me with Ej, I think Ej still has some human in him. Whatever was left behind after his transformation/sacrifice made him yearn for company even being ruler of death. (He’s got Cerberus aka smile dog 🤷‍♀️maybe a couple skeletons idk)
Anywho if he did happen to stumble upon Persephone, rather than kidnapping her pissing her mom off I think he’d be too scared to approach her 😭
In the sense that he wouldn’t want to scare her with his appearance even with the mask.
Maybe his Persephone is a kidney? Who knows 😔
“If I became the monster and threw that guilt away would that make us stronger?”
JANE-ATHENA🦉📖
I’ve been waiting for this I’m about to go crazy
Athena, warrior and goddess of wisdom, not to mention hella creative.
I feel like this matches with Jane’s sense of responsibility and maturity. In my hc Jane is a STROOOONG WOMAN😍😍🤤. I also saw someone on here saw she does poetry and I couldn’t agree more
Athena, who has no husband—oh look at that Jane doesn’t either she’s happily married to Mary(idc if Athena doesn’t marry. THIS one did.)
Aura if I’ve ever seen it
COOL WEAPONS COOL WEAPONS and armor tbh. Feminine robes and the usual Athena getup.
If you’ve listened to God Games then I don’t need to speak any further on how driven she is too succeed, “bring it” attitude.
I think it’s nice how Athena and Ares rivalry can be intertwined with Jane and Jeff’s backstory, despite Jane having coming to terms with it she still has sought vengeance.
Much like Athena in the Arachne story tbh
Independent fr fr, def wants to protect her wife from any other gods but also doesn’t worry about anyone messing with her.
I see her as a really good leader tbh
Wise tree af, knows you better than you know yourself and WILL use it against you if you piss her off.
Outsmarts people for breakfast.
In terms of Odysseus I think she’d def get annoyed with him but because shes got more important things to worry about she sticks with him.
“Goddess of wisdom, master of war, my life has one mission…create the greatest warrior.”
Jeff-ARES
Alright. God of war you know where this is going. Major anger issues but he’s sm more than that guys trust pls it’s just for the plot guys pls come back where are you going—
Angry ANGRY guy that’s why I chose him
Also I get major fire nation zuko vibes from him..NOT just cause he was burned I swear on my life
Anyway, if you’re lucky enough to not die and finally see past the blood thirst you’d see a whooooole lot of angsty regrets and if you peel it back a little more he’s bi
Fighting the demons daily
All those battles go straight to the head and probably boost his ego (FAKE FAKE FAKE) to no end.
I interpret ares as arrogant, brutal, and egocentric but I think a good arc for Jeff would to be to try and change that (maybe even heal some burned bridges with Jane, and his brother, who knows??)
He’s trying I swear
Ben def hangs with him and try’s to make him turn a new leaf and leave his asshole ways. (Even if he isn’t the best influence)
Quite literally insane idk what to tell you
Still love him though he’s a new guy I swear ignore the blood on him that’s normal you’re crazy.
“What kind of sick coward holds back his power while his friends get devoured? He didn’t even fight Scylla…didn’t even try to kill her.!”
Aaaaaand the crowd goes wild. Unfortunately those are all the characters I have inspo for rn but I hope more will come to me!! Also I wish I could have found a better quote for Jeff but oh well. All of these quotes are from EPIC/god games by Jorge Rivera-Herrans!! :). Honestly kind of scary to think of a mansion in this au it wouldn’t last 8 seconds. Would Ej technically live in the basement?? I’d love to hear others thoughts on this cause why not just add ☝️
Happy summer ya’ll☀️☀️☀️
