#Octopunk London event

So, I’m new to both the Detroit Become Human and Octopunk fandoms, but I went to the London Octopunk event on Sunday 24th July, and had the time of my life with my friend Alyx.

It was hilarious and all the folks were awesome and ever so lovely. Chris Trindade is just a ball of chaos, which I wasn’t surprised with to be honest.

Michelle, Michael, JJ, Austin, Carla and Tasha were also all so lovely as well! It was a shame Maxmilian couldn’t attend but he was with us in spirit.

What I was NOT expecting was Gavin Reed/ Elijah Kamski himself (among many other awesome characters) NEIL NEWBON himself turned up after the event, straight after flying from Canada to support Chris and have a chat to us fans.

Neil and Chris are my comfort humans, and to have been able to meet them and get pictures, as well as chat to them and get some of the best hugs off them has made my year!

Three events, three opportunities to meet the Octopunks!

NEW YORK CITY - MARCH 24th - This is the premiere event for Detroit Reawakening, hosted at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens! Come join the cast and crew of the film and be the first one in the world to see it with 100 fans. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 21st.

MUNICH - JULY 21st - Enjoy an all day event in Munich, Germany, at the Filmtheater Sendlinger Tor - a historic theatre turned cinema. We will premiere the feature lengthed documentary Begin Again: The Making of Detroit Reawakening, along with many other screenings and surprises. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 7th.

LONDON - JULY 24th - If you can’t make it to Germany, come see us in the UK! We will be hosting the same programming as our German event at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 21st, and also stay tuned for our special room rate at the hotel.

OCTOPUNK EUROPE UPDATE

We look forward to seeing you next week at the Octopunk European events! Unfortunately, I have a disappointing update. One of our actor guests, Maximilian Koger, will no longer be in attendance at either of the Munich or London events.

I know this is a huge bummer for everyone involved. Both our attendees and our team will miss him a lot.

Otherwise, our schedule and guestlist remains unchanged. Our attendance list includes Chris Trindade, Michael Smallwood, Carla Kim, JJ Goller, Natasha Schaeffer, Austin Bytts and cinematographer Rachel Summers, and our events include the world premiere of our documentary Begin Again, short film screenings, first looks at new projects, a live reading of Detroot Reawakey, and an hour of free autographs and meet-and-greet with the cast.

I will let you know if there are any other updates between now and the events but my fingers are crossed that this will be our only unforeseen circumstance. Thank you!
