Meet COSHACONS!
(from top to bottom) Brakecheck, Pullback, Hoey, Tapex, Chemspill
They're the youngest Decepticon Combiner team, created to keep others in check as their COSHA (Cybertronian Occupational Safety and Health Administration), or as they're known more commonly, the DHD (Decepticon Health Division). The acronym occasionally gets them mixed up with the DJD (Decepticon Justice Division), as they sound similar, especially when cried out in terror.
They're mostly non-combative and travel the universe to check up on Decepticon (and, after the War is over, Cybertronian in general) outposts and make sure they're up to workplace safety codes. As a team, they generally work better together than most Decepticon combiners, and are very close-knit.
Their delightful designs are done by @screamn-robo-dog
Individual introductions below the cut!
BRAKECHECK
As the team leader, Brakecheck has been forged with the Cybertronian Health and Safety Code hardwired in his processor, so he takes it seriously and very literally, which results in an aggressive autism anxiety disorder.
He's a literal hardened warrior, as his outlier ability amps his physical strength and causes his outer armor to harden, making him an almost impossible to beat opponent in a fight. Most of his fights though consist of him wrangling Motormaster when he gets out of hand, as Brakecheck is, despite his rough appearance, a person who prefers to avoid putting others in danger (whether that means killing them, or just not forcing them to wear proper helmets).
He's bonded with Tarn over their autism shared passion for properly filled out reports, and is helplessly crushing on his teammate Chemspill.
PULLBACK
The resident medic was originally brought into the team from the outside, as the forged team consisted only of three members due to at the time low resources.
After their mentor left for retirement, Brakecheck heavily relies on Pullback to guide him as the medic is much older and has more experience. He is very no nonsense, unless drinks are involved, which happens more often than he would like to admit.
He has been in a relationship with Hoey and Tapex ever since he's officially joined the team.
HOEY
Second of the original trio, Hoey (full name Backhoe) was accidentally forged without shame. He's long since changed his original color palette to something more vibrant, which suits his loud and obnoxious personality.
Hoey is an aspiring rapper who's original raps are so offensive and terrible, he is rumored to be able to restart the war if he would be allowed to perform at an Autobot base, but he still enjoys what he does and believes all that matters are the fans who actually enjoy his art (which means mostly Misfire, and for unknown reasons, Prowl).
He's been in a relationship with Tapex since they were forged, and they've added Pullback when he joined the team.
TAPEX
Youngest of the original trio, Tapex is a safety tape dispenser with terrible motion sickness, but he tries to not let that affect his work. He needs incredible large amounts of energon to function as his frame produces the tape itself.
He is a very ratty, anxious little mech, who has the misfortune of working the team's communications. He inspires to be like their leader as he has a lot of respect for him.
He's been in a relationship with Hoey since they were forged, and added Pullback when he joined the team.
CHEMSPILL
This well-rounded chemist is the newest member, replacing their old mentor after he's retired. He specializes in toxins and radioactive materials, and makes sure the team's quarters are spotless.
His calm, clean and organized personality got Brakecheck (who was at first suspicious of him due to his name) to fall stupidly in love, but he is incapable of pursuing him as the Code doesn't allow dating your subordinates. Despite that, Chemspill is returning his feelings and just waiting for the right moment.
Thanks for reading all this if you got so far! i love these fuckers dearly and cant wait to make silly comics of them!

Court Of Appeals Questions Purposes Behind Bidens Vaccine Mandate
President Biden was warned that he lacked the power to mandate vaccines for private workers, but he ordered the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to do it anyway. Late Friday came a sharp rebuke by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals that marks an important check on the runaway administrative state.
The Mandate’s true purpose is not to enhance workplace safety, but instead to ramp up vaccine uptake by any means necessary,” Judge Kurt Engelhardt wrote for the unanimous panel in a withering opinion that extends the court’s earlier stay on the OSHA mandate, which had been challenged by GOP states, numerous employers and individuals.
With his approval numbers sagging, Mr. Biden in early September ordered OSHA to require private employers with 100 or more workers to mandate that their employees be vaccinated or tested weekly. “Our patience is wearing thin,” he declared. The mandate at the time polled well among most Americans.
After the announcement, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain retweeted MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle’s tweet that stated, “OSHA doing this vaxx mandate as an emergency workplace safety rule is the ultimate work-around for the Federal govt to require vaccinations.” For “work-around,” read illegal.

Wells Fargo & Co. has been ordered to rehire a former Los Angeles-area bank manager who federal officials say was fired because he reported potential fraud to his superiors and to a bank ethics hotline — a claim the bank denies even as it has acknowledged problems with its hotline. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Monday that the San Francisco bank must not only rehire the whistleblower, who was fired in 2010, but pay him $5.4 million in back pay, damages and legal fees. via Snapzu : Business & Economy

Roles Involved in a Music Project - Production Process
Planning Activities –
Audition and Employment
In terms of planning, it always starts with an audition with a musician, dancer or singer. An audition is used to sample individual’s talents in order for the appropriate people to decide whether they have what it takes to perform. Usually the performer would be given a set piece to perform which will be rehearsed and memorised by the performer to succeed at the audition. If the right performers are successful they will then be involved in a job interview, so the interviewer can assess how well they think the performer will cope with the intense tasks that they will be given.
Set and Light Design
A lighting designer works with the stage director, choreographer, set designer, costume designer and the sound designer where they will create the lighting atmosphere for the live performance. Usually there will be multiple production meetings with the designers, Stage Manager and Stage Director to discuss all the possible ideas for the show and also talk about budget and scheduling details. Once there is a final design the lighting designer with also ensure that they have an accurate plan in front of them as well as a copy from the set design. The Set Designer has the exact schedule and tasks as the Lighting Designer. Instead, they deal with ‘setting the scene’ for a live performance so scenery, mood, and connection with the audience is key for a successful live performance because they work with the musician or band to connect to their fans through the production and to keep them entertained.
Budgeting Planning
First of all, budgeting for a live performance has to be realistic and achievable. Then you have to think about where the money is coming from in terms of event financing. There is a lot of negotiating involved in budget planning for a live performance. These are all the aspects that a Stage Manager has to consider before even thinking of buying or setting up equipment for bands and artists.
Risk Assessment
Risk assessments are put in place to make sure venues and every department involved in the performance keeps all workers and productions safe by identifying the faults and difficulties, controlling the situation and result to eliminating occupational health and safety hazards onstage and offstage.
Equipment Testing
Testing equipment plays a critical role in all productions and performances, to ensure that all the equipment is of excellent quality and in good working order. Regular testing of the equipment is crucial in preparing for a performance as an amp would be working in the sound check but fuses could be blown by the time the performance is on so it is important for all the equipment is fully checked and especially to make sure that there are replacements just in case if something does go wrong, then that way they can replace it quickly and solve the problem before the audience notices.
Administrative Activities –
Promotions and Media and Press Coverage
The Artist’s responsibility is to have;
· WEBSITE
· MAILING LIST
· PRINT – printing well designed posters and flyers for an agent to distribute to venues.
· ADVERTISING – take out national advertising.
· PROFILE – send out review and radio copies of albums to establish and maintain a visible profile.
· INTERVIEWS – seek out opportunities to do radio interviews in conjunction with the venue.
· SOCIAL MEDIA – Maintain a presence on social media: facebook, twitter, tumblr etc.
Venue/Promoters responsibilities are;
· WEBSITE - Have a website. The same thing applies here as applied to artists. Don't just have a facebook page or a convenient page on someone else's site
· MAILING LIST - Maintain an active club or venue mailing list. Try and get an email address from everyone who steps through your door.
· LOCAL ADVERTISING
· LOCAL PRESS - Get local interest stories into the local newspapers. Build up a rapport.
· RADIO - Make contact with local radio programmes for incoming artists and pass on contact details.
· PRINT - Use the posters and flyers the artist has sent you. If you run a club you should be putting the flyers out on seats for several shows.
· SOCIAL MEDIA - Use social media: facebook, twitter, tumblr, (But as with the artist, this is no substitute for your own website or mailing list.)
· WORD OF MOUTH
It's the agent's job to look after the artist's diary, to find and get the gigs for the artist, to negotiate the contract. In addition, an agent will:
· Send out whatever physical publicity the artist has had printed.
· Should also have a website where a promoter can download images and text for a press release. (This may also be on the artist's website.)
· Supply a CD for radio or will pass the request direct to the artist.
· Forward all requests for interviews direct to an artist (or their management).
PRS
PRS to music collects the performance and mechanical rights for its members, this is for when they are performed publicly, or recordings are broadcast/played in a public space/s. PRS Music is run by the PRS board, owned by its members and provides services to the MCPS. After operating costs are taken off the profits are distributed amongst the members. Tariffs for organisations vary depending on the size and how much they are using music. All live music venues will require a PRS license however some places are exempt for example, buildings that are run by statutory bodies such as local authorities (e.g. county, district, town, borough, parish or similar councils), having said this some establishments play non-copyrighted music in order to avoid paying for a licence.
PPL UK
PPL is one of many collection societies in the UK that manage the rights and licence different types of copyrighted music material. PPL licenses the use of recorded music while others exist to manage rights in musical compositions, newspaper extracts, etc. Each of these organisations enable the user of these materials to obtain a licence, so both users and copyright owners can benefit from increased efficiency.

ISO 45001 AND ITS BENEFITS
ISO 45001 AND ITS BENEFITS
Organizations today are working competently due to their better and reformed management system. All the sectors in the organization should be well managed and complied with the standards. Health and safety is a section where an organization should concentrate on while working. Employees should be in good health condition and safe while performing work operations. The management system should comply with the health and safety standards provided by the International organization for Standardization (ISO). (Also, Read IMPORTANCE OF SA 8000 TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION)
ISO 45001 is a standard for occupational health and safety management provided to improve health and safety of the employees during work hours. The standard specifies some changes in management system to ensure the involvement of features regarding health hygiene conditions, illness, and safety during work and injury prevention. Any type of organization can implement this standard and earn a certification from ISO. This standard is very convenient to be applied in a company and requires not much effort. It is just a management tool to be observed and implied in various sectors of the organization. The structure of ISO 45001 is not much complicated and contains few definitions of health and safety which should be utilized by the management of a company. The structure consists of
Scope Terms and conditions Normative References Context of organization Planning Leadership Support Operation Performance Evaluation Improvement
The above structure indicates easy methods of implementation of this standard in the organization. The contents of the structure are related to the health and well-being, disease prevention and control, prevention of risks during work operation of employees. The structure of this standard follows steps from ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 which are also safety standards practiced by all organizations globally. It also follows certain guidelines from International Labor Organization (ILO) and other standards. It becomes relatively comfortable for organizations to adopt ISO 45001 who are previously complied with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
The ISO 45001 training and certification is provided by the ISO for all organizations. The ISO 45001 consultants can guide in the standardization process. The organizations can apply directly for ISO 45001 if they previously comply with other ISO occupational health and safety standards. The ISO 45001 is in the process to become official from 2018. The certification process for this standard will be same as that of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and will take less time for compliance. Implementing ISO 45001 for organizations will prove to be a lot beneficial in terms of health and safety management. There are some quick benefits and some long-term advantages of implementing this standard. They are 1. Implementing objectives of ISO 45001 in the management system will prove to improve the overall performance of the OH&'S management section. 2. Defining the health and safety regulations by complying with ISO 45001 will help organizations to regulate with legal requirements led by the administration. 3. The safety issues resulting from life hazards can be controlled in a safe manner by implementing this standard. 4. Disease control and prevention can lead to avoiding any inconvenience of attendance by any of the employees. 5. There will be general awareness among the employees regarding sanitation, hygiene, and safety in the organization. 6. The management system can control the high risks involved during work and set measures to avoid them in future. 7. The expenses relating to health and safety issues can be drastically reduced leading to increased profits for the organization. 8. If implemented successfully, this standard will reduce the costs of insurance of workers. 9. The overall increase in the work performance of employees will further lead to achieve more targets and gain more profits for an organization thus increasing reputation in the market.

Considerations for Starting an Environmental Stewardship Program for Your Firing Range
MT2.com | Firing Range Lead Reclamation & Environmental Remediation Services – #1 and Largest Nationwide Professional Environmental Soil Remediation & Firing Range Lead Reclamation Maintenance Contractor for both Indoor & Outdoor Firing Ranges
Hello! Outdoor firing range here. So, you want to protect me from the dangerous effects of lead contamination? Good move! Protecting me protects YOU! I don’t want to poison you, but leaving spent bullets behind can cause potentially toxic lead to leech into the ground or otherwise leave me. The lead may contaminate my soil and my water. This may impact my wildlife and humans too, or impact my neighbors. You can possibly get an acute (sudden) toxic dose of lead or suffer permanent health effects over time. The thing is, it doesn’t have to be this way because lead poisoning is preventable! To stay safe, you must clean me up and keep me clean. To do this, you need a responsible, ongoing management plan also known as an Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP). I’ve compiled some basic information to get your started!
Throughout the last 20 years, we have begun to see the effects of mass pollution all around us. Poisonous waterways, species extinction, and new forming health problems are arising from human caused pollution in the natural environment.
Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) involves taking the necessary steps in removing and reducing waste, pollution, and any occupational health and safety hazard that may be present in order to protect everyone and the environment around us. One area of human activity that needs improving is the potential lead contamination at firing ranges. According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, lead can be a harmful metal if inhaled or ingested. An interesting fact is that lead is found in ammunition, used in the primer. When a bullet is discharged from a gun, heat is created. This converts the lead from a solid to airborne particles that can be breathed in, entering the lungs to be absorbed into the bloodstream. After continuous exposure, lead poisoning is a risk. Another place lead accumulates in your firing range is at backstops. Everyone should consider proper monitoring and maintenance at both indoor and outdoor firing ranges, and don’t worry, learning how to set up easy protocols is very simple.
An ESP can give you the guidelines for protection you need to keep everyone safe and help the environment in return. The benefits to consider when deciding whether this pertains to you include the following.
What lead preventative measures can you establish to benefit your employees and customers? The National Shooting Sports Foundation lists several improvements OSHA recommends and requires for lead control in indoor shooting facilities. They include airborne lead monitoring, ventilation, bullet traps, non-lead ammunition, regular cleaning, training, proper protective clothing, and respirators.
Can you implement conservation efforts to help lead pollution at you firing range? Taking on the task of monitoring the soil in an outdoor shooting range can be a drastic conservation effort. The accumulation of lead can leach into the soil and eventually end up in a water source. The EPA limit of lead contamination in soil is 5 mg/L according to a Princeton publication. If the tested soil results higher than 5, treatment methods should be put into place.
What are the economic benefits involved in a ESP? The economic benefit of reducing lead poisoning is your health. A study from the Blacksmith Institute showed that 2.8% of heath care costs in the United States is contributed to environmental exposure of pollutants, such as lead. For more information relating to general OSHA lead regulations, click here.
It is much simpler and less expensive to commit to environmental awareness and employ conservation measures before you are sanctioned.
Proactive conservation is easier and more economical than clean-up after contamination; known as remediation. It is much less complex and less expensive to achieve and maintain voluntary regulatory compliance before you are penalized and forced to comply. Did you know the EPA has a list of fugitives? I know, right? I didn’t either! It makes sense! There are laws to protect our environment. I guess we’d better get started! First,
Bone up! Begin your lead education with reliable resources, such as Centers for Disease Control (CDC) publications and tools, to deepen understanding about the potential dangers of lead; ways to reduce and monitor lead exposure; and lead remediation.
Everyone can be educated about lead. Many of these teaching tools I found are reproducible and free!
Work with the experts! The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has an easy-to-read manual entitled, “Best Management Practices for Lead Outdoor Shooting Ranges“. You can print it or order as many copies as you need for free! The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) offers a voluntary, on-site consultation program to help you understand site-specific compliance and avoid sanctions.
Also…be sure any contractors/engineers you employ have valid, appropriate certifications!
Get creative! Recycling or reusing spent lead may help the range from many of the more stringent solid waste restrictions of the EPA’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Search for funding in creative ways. The EPA offers grants for lead cleanup that may help.
Keep track! Keep records of your progress; including the money you save by recycling or reusing lead. Awards and recognition do more than feel good; they are tangible evidence of effective management and send a clear message that you care about your employees, taxpayers, and the environment.
How to Properly Set Up an Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) For Your Firing Range
The EPA defines environmental stewardship as “the responsibility for environmental quality shared by all those whose actions affect the environment”. Because the earth is a finite resource, and many of the things we do can contaminate it, protecting both the environment and our fellow humans who live here is an important task.
Why Is an ESP Important for A Firing Range?
Firing ranges are in a unique place to be environmental stewards, largely because of huge potential for lead pollution that go hand in hand with ranges. “An environmental stewardship program is a written plan or “roadmap” for planning, implementing and monitoring the progress of environmental improvements at shooting ranges,” according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. This holds true for other states as well. This plan would include proper characterization of your site, as well as implementing various management techniques.
Site Characterization
To properly set up an ESP, several things must be taken into consideration. These include:
physical characteristics of the shooting range;
soil characteristics;
both yearly rainfall and the potential for erosion;
lay of the land, which impacts water run-off;
both ground and surface water;
surrounding vegetation;
potential risks to wildlife, their habitats, and feeding;
and proximity to neighbors.
Management Techniques
Properly managing a firing range can make environmental stewardship easy. The following management techniques should be employed for a successful ESP:
bullet containment;
BMPs to prevent lead migration;
lead removal;
lead recycling;
record keeping;
wildlife management;
human lead exposure standards;
and remediation efforts.
