some of you know the undyne of Obliviotale?

I’m not too familiar with Obliviotale, but isn’t there something in there about Undyne going into the Void? And when that happens they’re pretty much erased from everyone’s memory. That’s prolly why.

After I made Nib!Mettaton, I thought about maybe doing tabletop RPG scale miniatures of the other major characters of the UnderTale cast, with one AU per character to make things interesting. So here’s an Undyne from @obliviotale. 

[Again, sorry for the poor and desaturated shots, I’m still stuck using the phone camera to take these shots.]

Like Nib, Obliviotale!Undyne was made from Sculpey. She’s 29-30 mm at eye height, which would make her over 5 ft, potentially close to 6ft, tall on the 25/28 mm scale... though, if her tail was extended straight, she’d probably be taller!

Speaking of tail, it had broken off at some point after I dropped her (yikes!), which is why her base is a bit more fanciful (I used a couple of shells to prop the tail up). 

I am not 100% sure of my eye color choice, and I’m wondering I should repaint the eye so it’s a blue pupil on a black sclera (I mean, Obliviotale!Undyne is supposed to be based on the Undying form, after all). My only concern is that the overall figure is pretty dark already, and the eye may not show up so well at a distance (that’s why I made the eye yellow originally). What do you guys think? 

[Fun random fact: In the Undertale art book, Toby Fox mentioned that he toyed around with the idea to make Undyne a mermaid in her Undying form.]

So this was inspired from a discussion on discord and I couldn't just not draw it. Sorry for the lack of actual updates on either the Monster guide or the Ask T!tale but I plan on having the next T!tale update posted tomorrow night at the latest. My schedule has started to settle into something more consistent so hopefully I won't go week or a few weeks where there is no update of any kind to Traditiontale. Continuing with the UnderTale tabletop RPG pet project of mine, here’s a Papyrus from OceanTale (@oceantale01). 

Like the previous sculpts, OceanTale!Papyrus is made from Sculpey. He’s about 30-31 mm, so he would be minimum 5.5 ft or potentially slightly taller than 6 ft on the 25/28 mm scale (depending on which scale you choose). 

During the sculpting process, a weird break occurred in the wrist of his right arm, and in the process of trying to fix it, I made his right hand uncommonly large. 

Also, you might have noticed that the pictures are of better quality. That’s because I finally got around to purchasing my new camera! I still have to figure out the auto white balance on this thing since the colors between photos are not consistent, but at least the colors are more saturated and appear closer to what they are in real life.
