(This is for the musical only, because I haven't read the book.)

Favorite thing about them: Well, she starts out as nice girl, and even after her dark turn, she still has a sad, pitiable aspect to her.

Least favorite thing about them: Nothing much. Just that she becomes a dictator who strips the Munchkins of all their rights, just so she can force her unrequited love object Boq to be her slave... and then tries to enchant him into loving her when he tries to leave her... and after she nearly kills him by accident and Elphaba is forced to turn him into the Tin Man to save him, she refuses to take responsibility, but puts all the blame on Elphaba... In short, she becomes more of a real villain than her sister ever is, and it's more than just propaganda that makes the Munchkins sing "Ding-Dong" after her death.

On a meta level, real-life wheelchair users have argued that her portrayal is fairly ableist. It's taken for granted by everyone, including herself, that her disability is a terrible, tragic thing, and her ultimate "Freudian Excuse" for becoming a villain is basically just her misery over being disabled. I only hope that Part 2 of the film version does a better job of fleshing out her character and avoiding ableism than Act 2 of the stage version does, especially because her screen actress really is disabled.

Random headcanon: Even though Wizard of Oz fans like to think that the witch Dorothy sees flying on her broomstick during the cyclone was the Witch of the East, not of the West, in the Wicked-verse I don't think it was. In fact it couldn't have been, because unlike her sister, Nessa doesn't fly on a broomstick; she never learns that spell. If in Wicked canon, Dorothy saw a witch during the cyclone, it was Elphaba rushing to try to save her sister after seeing her vision of the flying house, only to arrive too late.

Unpopular opinion: I don't think I have one.

34. How do they cheer the other one up during sad times?

Hugs!!! Physical affection!!! The first thing they do when they notice the other one is sad is go in for some physical comfort because that definitely helps them feel less alone. I like to believe that they do get better at the talking about their feelings part as well in the future, but hugs and being held will probably always be their go-to's until they're ready to talk about it, if at all.

If it's just a bit of a shitty mood they are in they definitely also use humor to cheer each other up, like making purposefully corny jokes. I can also very much see Wille sitting in front of a kinda sad Simon and pulling his exaggerated frown/puppy face at him until Simon lets out a small huff and gives him an endeared eye roll and a shove to the shoulder.

35. What are their tastes in music?

this is where I show how lost I am around any music that isn't the stuff I listened to as a teen

I feel like both would have a pretty varied taste in music, just slightly different faves.

So... I feel like Simon very much is a pop girly, specifically indie or indie-adjacent pop. Basically you give him some pretty lyrics and he'll be interested, bonus points if there's some catchy guitar strumming. (and you can be sure he'll be sat in front of his keyboard trying to figure out the chords in no time). Specifically I am thinking of Halloween by Noah Kahan rn (shoutout Safaa for showing me this), Simon would eat that shit up. And I feel like he'd watch movies and really get into the film music.

For Wille, I mean, I don't wanna go off stereotypes, but at least from what we learned through canon he's gotten quite the education in classical instruments, so I'm sure he'd enjoy a classical concert on the occasion (and of course Simon joins him as well). But he also very much loves his fast-paced EDM/House, especially when he's going on a run. But of course his favorite type of music will always be anything Simon sings for him <3

40. Who is the skilled shopper for holidays? Who always waits 'til the last minute to get all of their gifts? (Which one gets stressed out easily)?

Oh you BET Wille is the one to forget to plan ahead, especially in those first years of living on his own (or with Simon, because I think these fools move out from home specifically to move in together). Simon has those organizational skills that Wille lacks, so he's got a list (not necessarily physical, maybe just mental) with all the things he wants to get for his friends and family, but Wille gets lost and the panic-buys relatively random stuff at the last minute. I feel like the only exception are presents for Simon, those are special and occupy a lot of Wille's brain capacity for weeks before he plans to give them to him.

11. Who leaves notes in the other one's lunch? (Bonus: what do they say?)

Iris is more likely to be the one leaving notes for Cybill. Cybill can cook well, but not anything he'd ever be willing to subject Iris to.

Iris already loves to cook, travels with a pan and cooking/eating utensils, and was already showing Cybill just how much she cared about him when cooking for him and June on the road. And she only gets better as time goes on as she gets accustomed to cooking with what's available, plus later down the line when they settle and she starts her own garden at home base! Truly putting her entire heart into it.

She would be writing so many mushy gushy notes. Telling Cybill how much she loves him, adores him, every little thing about him she cherishes, how grateful she is that they met and an endless amount of thank you's for everything he's done for her. And if she's in a particularly saucy mood, I have no doubts in my mind she'd leave him something a lil spicy to chew on. And yes, she is signing every single one of those notes with a lipstick kissy.

Iris does tend to visit down the road to Sanctuary pretty often so she can visit Preston and help around the settlement, especially with rebuilding. And if Cybill stays back (they don't exactly like being separated) I can absolutely see her meal prepping for him and the babies for the day, leaving him sweet notes saying how much she's gonna miss him and how she can't wait to be back in his arms. But every now and again Cybill sneaks his own notes into her lunch before she heads out and she melts over them! She has lil mementos she takes with her everywhere she goes and anything Cybill gives her she would cherish and it'll never leave her side, I'm tellin' ya.

24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)?

They often like to sleep facing each other! Optimal position for spur of the moment kissing, and brother lemme tell ya, they're gonna be kissing a lot. Night time kissies before bed? Yep. Sleepy lazy morning kissies in the sunlight? You better believe it. They invented love, and they are relishing in it every moment they can. They like being close, laying on each other's chests, actual snuggle bugs. When they spoon, it is more likely for Iris to be the big spoon and Cybill to be the little spoon. It makes him feel safe, and she is already such a physical, snuggly person that being able to hold him in her arms at night and nuzzle her face into him would bring her so much comfort to know he's there, he's safe, and that she isn't alone.

Iris spends a lot of her story with bad sleep issues, often pushing herself not to sleep at all. Often out of fear, often because she has frequent nightmares. And once Cybill and June are with her, she'll never forgive herself if she fails to keep them safe. But being with Cybill eases that. She feels safe with him, comfortable, god she loves him so much. She can finally rest. Her nightmares don't haunt her like they used to. They still exist, and sometimes he'll have to help her through them. But it's better than it was.

So, we were thinking about their first date being them singing a duet at The Third Rail!

They get dressed up all nice like the lil romantics they are so they can have a proper date and ough it is darling.

Iris telling Cybill about how, before she met him, she used to perform occasionally with Magnolia for some caps whenever she'd stop by Goodneighbor every now and again. Something leads to another and one of them asks the other of they'd wanna sing together.

Cybill is good at singing, but Iris knows this. Him singing lullabies to June, and how lovely his voice was, was one of the earliest moments of her falling for him. I don't doubt in that time he's also heard her sing sweetly, considering how much time they've spent together by now. But he's never heard her on stage.

Cybill is gonna be so nervous to sing in front of other people, but Iris is gonna be there by his side singing with him. And once they start, their voices melt together so beautifully, their eyes are locked onto each other, they're looking so stunning, the world around them just falls away. The only thing in this moment is them. When they finish, Cybill dips Iris into such a passionate kiss, grand finale of a lifetime fr.

And if you see them holding hands and sneaking away to the backroom, don't even worry about it. Loud moans? Nope, don't hear a thing. Are they leaving, clothes disheveled, Cybill covered in smeared lipstick kisses, Iris covered in bite marks? Mind ur business.

"Every Breath You Take" is stalkery in general but also such an inspired love song choice to improvise into immediately after talking about Pete, the more stalkery parts still read a bit obsessive/codependent but this is the guys who keep calling each other cryptophasic twin soulmates of ultimate destiny do not separate each other's full time problem, somehow "everything you do i'll be watching you, you belong to me" ranks thereabouts. And in the more charitable way of reading the "I'll be watching you"s, them coming after talking about how pete always wants to highlight him for tours and this time he got him performing solo (and his continued affront at pete shimmying offstage to leave him alone) comes as being aware of pete watching him perform and evolve. idk it being not entirely unproblematic makes it fit better as "love songs patrick would come up with when thinking about this guy that's displayed so much of that 5% of love he allows himself to show by being annoying <3 or clinging for dear life mid-concert"

Ohhhhh, this is so good because you are SO RIGHT. I've been wondering why, when Patrick sings it, I'm not like, "Wow, this song is so inappropriate," lol, and I was just like, Well, that's Patrick magic for you! but no, OF COURSE Patrick sings it like a total love song because his experience of love is this. lol

Like, I don't even think the original is meant to be a love song tbh, the person in the song is breaking their vows, etc., but Patrick just sings it in a way that feels so unmistakably a love song because yes, for half of his life now he's been watched so closely, and that's how he experiences love. What do we say, about the way Pete looks at Patrick? And what do we say about the way Patrick looks at Pete? This is a love song, in their own way.

It makes me think a little bit about Swan Song, in that the lead singer of Swan is always thinking about how his OTP counts his breaths during the performances to make sure he makes all his cues. Surely, Patrick feels Pete paying attention to him just as keenly on stage. And vice versa. And I always think about how, the first time I saw them live, before Saturday, I watched Pete nudge his mic stand down a little bit for Patrick's lesser height when he was going to have to use it in a second, and that little moment killed me. I'm sure he does it automatically at this point, but still, such awareness and such care. The way they always seem to know exactly where the other one is on the stage. Etc.

♡ My thoughts on Yennskier + headcanons ♡

- What makes this whole thing so funny and exciting to me is that Yennefer used to think that Jaskier was just some annoying sing songy twit before. While Jaskier's dramatic arse used to consider Yennefer an enemy until she saved him from Rience XD XD XD

- I adored the everliving FUCK out of their scenes together in season 2! Their dynamic is so fucking good! AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!

- Yennskier, the ship we didn't know we needed, but definitely deserved! Their chemistry is so fucking perfect and their dynamic works so well!

- Personally I think that this ship is actually, currently, THE healthiest and most wholesome one of all my Jaskier ships! At least as of season 2! (Even if Geraskier remains as my OTP)

- In Oxenfurt, when Jaskier and Yennefer got to know eachother better without Geralt's presence to distract them both, ever since they saw the real, raw and vulnerable sides of eachother and became friends, I couldn't help but notice how absolutely toothrottingly perfect they are together!

- Legit, and I kid you not! I can't picture Yennefer and Jaskier having anything other than that deep kind of connection where you know that you are loved, appreciated and adored, despite all your flaws. The kind of love where you know you're not alone, that this person is your family and will always have your back no matter what.

- Yennefer, despite being one of the most powerful sorceresses on the entire continent, treats Jaskier as an equal by the time Ciri gets possessed. (Bro, like even Geralt doesn't do that! Jaskier is his friend, sure, but I've never seen Geralt treating him as an equal.)

- Yennefer and Jaskier have a mutual respect for eachother, they trust eachother, they enjoy eachother's company. All of those things are A CRUCIAL part of having a solid foundation to build a honest, sturdy, long-lasting and happy relationship upon.

- From compatibility POV, they work together a lot better than Geralt and Yennefer did. With Jaskier, there are no djinn related consent issues, there wouldn't be any communication issues and he would probably be a positive influence on Yennefer's mental health.

- Whereas her relationship with Geralt was quite frankly chaotic, explosive, sometimes even toxic. It was built upon a shaky foundation of lust, djinn magic and exchanged favors. Like c'mon, their time together as an on-and-off couple mostly consisted of having kinky unicorn sex, trauma dumping, dealing with magical, gorey and insanely dangerous situations, then talking about said situations until they have a fight! Leaving eachother every time in the end because they can't seem to make it work long-term. They're incompatible because in canon, the only thing that finally made them stick together for good, was an orphaned girl in need of protection. It's not right, kind of like parents who are postponing their divorce until their daughter grows up :/

- Jaskier on the other hand, despite his magic-less ordinary humanity has a hilariously witty, optimistic, stupidly brave, highly empathetic, loyal and supportive personality. Yennefer would have an understanding partner who loves her, cherishes her, acceptc her for who she is without judgement nor pity. A partner who would make it his life's mission to help her see the good things this world has to offer, to make her happy because she deserves it!

- Damn it all, they both have been through enough, they both deserve a break. They actually GET eachother. I can already feel a drabble forming in my brain, set a week or so after the whole Voleth Mier shebang, Jaskier is struggling with PTSD and nightmares about Rience, Yennefer is struggling with guilt and shame because she put Ciri in danger. So while Geralt is too busy with Ciri's training to be there for Jaskier and he feels too betrayed to be in Yennefer's company, neither Yen nor Jask have anyone to turn to in Kaer Morhen, except eachother. Three months confined to a witcher keep together? Now that is a LOT of time to spend with someone you can be openly vulnerable around, bond with, heal and share joy with, unexpectedly falling in love....

- Yennefer too is an extremely good match for Jaskier, it's almost uncanny how much she completes him! Jaskier would finally have an understanding and loving partner who truly saw him when others didn't bother. And Yennefer liked what she saw, the familiar face of a simple human bard who offered kindness and compassion to strangers even if it could kill him. She saw courage, honesty, forgiveness and so much good, a collection of rare qualities she had never thought could exist within one single person all at once. After Voleth Mier, all that goodness was given to her so freely, it is still being given to her everyday, so she knows a treasure when it looks her right in the eyes with such easy warmth. She would make it her life's mission to cling onto him with everything she's got, to love and cherish him the way he deserves, to protect the only person she deems worthy of holding her heart!

- They have a lot in common too. From both having a knack for fashion, both being mischievous little shits at heart and both having high standards when it comes to personal hygiene. To also having similar tastes in both alcohol, humor, luxury and entertainment.....if Yennefer's kinky orgy party and Jaskier's reputation as the biggest slut on the continent is anything to go by.

- Speaking of sex, both of them having a high libido and exceptional skills in bed aside, they're fucking GORGEOUS people! Why wouldn't they find eachother attractive?

- Yennefer is basically a Goddess, beauty personified! She is elegant and breathtaking, everyone knows it.

- However, since a majority of the Witcher fandom usually dismisses Jaskier in favor of simping for Geralt, I can, I must and I WILL gush about how pretty Jaskier is! Cuz clearly some of them bitches be blind, Yennefer is one lucky witch!

- Jaskier is like only 1,5 inches shorter than his grouchy snowman friend. Meaning he is tall as all hell and he definitely isn't lacking in the muscle department either, that bard is jacked yo. His voice is soothing and his vocabulary is extensive enough to make the most experienced of whores blush from pillow talk. He has VERY soft looking hair and he has one of the most angelic fucking faces I've ever seen. His eyes are the clearest shade of blue and his expressions + mannerisms are absolutely adorable! Ok, I'm done gushing, onto the next point....

- Unlike Jaskier, I don't think I have a dummy thick enough of a vocabulary to express how much dopamine Yennskier fanfics give me, more specifically when their husband and wife act from Oxenfurt becomes an inside joke for them, leaving the rest of Kaer Morhen's inhabitants confused as fuck.

- Geralt getting a bit jealous? His brothers wondering when that could have happened? Ciri feeling bamboozled as well?

- It's all shits and giggles until somebody giggles and shits. It won't take long until their inside joke is no longer a joke. They already bicker like a married couple anyway XD

- I can not help but also headcanon Jaskier as not fully human. It would be sad if he up and died on his dear immortal wife. I don't necessarily picture him having chaos or other powers in this scenario, but when I do, I think that they would discover them together on accident.

(my first concert<333) ok im still processing and a bit in shock so forgive me if I forget anything but I'll just write a few words to remember the night bc it was AMAZING

ok so first of all enormous thanks to @tanktop-lou and her family for giving me a ride and being generally great!

then thanks to the girls I met in line that I spent the night with bc they were SO NICE, when we were in line there was a dad with a sign saying "I'm looking for a ticket for my daughter " and one of the girls had an extra ticket to sell bc her friend couldn't come but when she saw this guy's daughter was like a 13yo girl she just gifted it to her !!! so sweet!💖 louies are great<333

also the line was INSANE and considering I only waited like 2 hours we got a great spot in the pit !! but truly the line went all around the parking lot MULTIPLE TIMES!! let's just say there was A LOT of pushing and running once the gates opened skjdk

then we got in and everyone in the pit was pushing already lol and I left a few girls go in front of me bc I felt bad for being so tall sksj but then the girl behind me started to get angry at me and my ponytail (??) so I just turned around and ignored her ksjzkd

anywaysss OTP were good although basically nobody knew their songs rip but they still made the best of it and the frontman was very good and energetic! and he tanked and praised louis so many times 🥺🥺🥺🥺 (also the security gave us water ! and told us to not throw anything on stage)

then it was another 30 minutes before louis and the adrenaline (and sweat shsh) were saturating the air. it was great to see a lot of guys and older ppl there too! everyone was so excited and it was so beautiful to see such a big arena get filled by people who were there for louis!!

then the curtain came up and the first lights started shining and let me tell you... his intro his AMAZING like there's an instrumental bit and a lights sequence that just builds up the excitement so WELL and you can literally feel everyone's hearts beating faster ! then the curtain falls and everyone just SCREAMS and from there on its nonstop just SPECTACULAR performance, every moment every light every note every smile it's all just so perfect and so well thought out, it's truly an experience worth every single cent I spent (which weren't even that many tbh for a show this good). I LOVED the screens and the various effects he had on them and the fact that we could also see the band at times, Michael's happiness was truly visible on his face and Steve was just SO GOOD and a great presence, they compliment louis and his energy so well,

LOUIS was just..... beautiful incredible SO FUCKING TALENTED like genuinely there wasn't a single note out of place and his voice was either so perfect it sounded like the studio version OR even better than that bc he was adding high notes and virtuosisms to the songs, his high notes are INSANE like truly he has an AMAZING VOICE and it fills an entire arena so well, I will NEVER understand the people who told him his voice was too weak, it's so far from the truth!!! truly I kept my eyes closed for most of beautiful War bc I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest, and most people also stopped singing bc his voice was THAT beautiful.

also man I'm ashamed to say I had not fully comprehended just how much effort and physical strength goes into every show , I jumped around and screamed a lot but I also took breaks bc it's genuinely so exhausting and while I was in one of these moments taking a break It hit me that louis does and will do this multiple times a week every week for MONTHS like it's truly insanely hard, I don't think I'll be able to move let alone talk tomorrow, I have no idea how he does 3 shows in a row sometimes. I've genuinely gained so much more respect for him and musicians in general tonight.

back to the show, the energy was GREAT everyone around me screamed every word (except 7 which I was like come onnn people it's been years!! but it doesn't matter bc I screamed it all!!!) and louis was visibily SO HAPPY to play in such a big venue and it was just 🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖 the most beautiful feeling, also he was SO HOT!!! and everyone was just so in love with him. also he loved getting the shirts and hoodie and he pointed at a sign that called him a work of art<3333

my favorites live were probably beautiful War, walls, only the brave, through the dark and kmm , his voice in walls and beautiful War is SPLENDID and they're such beautiful moments, otb was BEAUTIFUL the whole venue was so pretty and the rainbow project came out so well!!! TTD and KMM are the perfect closing songs!!! SO much energy and everyone was using every single drop of strength they had left to jump and scream and we really gave it all !!!

and the pyros and silly strings are so amazing and a great experience live !!! it seems silly written down but they just add another layer to the experience and make it more tangible in a way, again everything was so well timed and thought out.

you leave the show truly understanding how much louis CARES and how much effort he puts in his work, he's truly an Artist and a Musician with capital letters and I'm just filled with joy at the thought that he'll get to do this and people will get to experience it for many years to come, I certainly can't wait.

louis, you were beautiful and you shine so bright, its no wonder why some people were always scared of letting you shine but you really proved and prove over and over again that real talent, real care, real love, really do make a difference ♡

Favorite thing about them: His sheer heroism. His unshakable faith in his vision of a world where justice and freedom reign for everyone, and his willingness to fight for that world and die for it if need be. He’s an inspiration.

Least favorite thing about them: The cold, severe aspect of his dedication to his ideals. Chiefly his treatment of Grantaire in the novel and “Marius, you’re no longer a child...” in the musical.

Yes, I know Grantaire is genuinely annoying and unreliable, and Enjolras also has every right to be annoyed when Marius glorifies his new romantic love at the revolution’s expense. But I don’t think either Hugo or the musical’s writers meant him to be entirely in the right in placing ideals above human bonds. If so, Hugo wouldn’t have written that the gentler, more humane Combeferre “corrected” Enjolras and influenced him for the better, or balanced his austere first impression with gradual proof of how much he loves his friends and detests violence even as he uses it, or ended his life with a smile at Grantaire while clasping his hand. And I doubt that Herbert Kretzmer would have chosen wording as harsh as “Who cares about your lonely soul?” if he had meant us to fully side with Enjolras at that point.

OTP: Like most of the rest of the fandom, I enjoy Enjoltaire, but first and foremost I ship him with his patria.

nOTP: Javert or Gavroche. I’m glad I’ve never seen him shipped with either of them.

Random headcanon: Just to rebel against the popular fanon that he’s estranged from royalist parents, I’ll imagine that his parents are republican too and that he inherited his ideals from them. When he says “Citizen, my mother is the Republic,” his real mother would have been proud to hear it.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think it’s blasphemy or “queer erasure” to ship him with a female character. He’s not explicitly gay, after all; he can just as easily be read as aro-ace, or as a chaste “priest of the ideal” regardless of his sexuality. I just don’t see much of a point to shipping him with a female character. Shipping him with Grantaire at least has support in the novel and can be meaningful for both of their character arcs. But what purpose does it serve to give him a girlfriend beyond “I’m a female fic writer and I think he’s hot, so I’m pairing him with a self-insert”? Then again, probably 80% of Enjoltaire fic is written because the writer thinks Enjolras is hot and uses Grantaire as a self-insert.

3: brotp: the WoL once again lol but I also love his relationship with moogles??? They are his little friends???

4: notp: the WoL lol. I make jokes about Nourval having a crush on Sanson post SB just cause Sanson was nice to him but he knows it won’t go anywhere and I think it’s funny to imagine him being frustrated by a silly lil crush. But I don’t actually ship them.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: I think Sanson is an okay singer. Not great like Guydelot, probably not good enough to be a bard. But he’s better than he gives himself credit for and will sing with Guydelot when they’re alone

           “Anything else you’d like to do today while we’re out, Olive?” Adam Carlsen inquires, his right hand turning Olive’s chin towards him where he can gaze into her eyes.

“Well…” Olive blusters, not quite sure how to bring this up, let alone how to bring up this idea in a group setting. “They’re having an adoption event in the park today…” she trails off, fixing Adam with her most innocent smile.

“Why, pray tell, are you wanting to go to this adoption event?” Adam questions, tossing a look at Holden for help.

“Well, I… I was hoping we could look at the animals and maybe pick one out now that we have a stable apartment living situation,” Olive begins to explain, her eyes sparkling in excitement as she imagines their life becoming even more complete with the addition of a pet.

“No,” Adam says, implying he is leaving very little room for discussion in regards to this matter.

“Adam, but why?” Olive asks, disappointment seeping through her body as she tries to process this blatant rejection.

“Olive, neither of us are home enough for a puppy, sweetheart. They’re a huge commitment, and both of us are working incredibly hard on our research,” the powerful STEM professor reminds, silently thinking of how proud he still is that Olive managed to receive a grant for her study.

           “You know what they say, Carlsen! Happy wife, happy life,” Holden beams up at Adam from across the table, absolutely taking Olive’s side on this matter.

“She’s my fiancée, not quite my wife yet, so I think I win this time on a technicality,” Adam smirks in that cocky yet sexy way Olive loves and is convinced only Dr. Carlsen knows how to pull off.

“Ah, but happy future wife, happy future life!” Malcolm calls in a sing-song voice as he returns back with three hot cocoas and a black coffee for the resident fall drink-hating member of their circle of trust.

Adam sighs dramatically, knowing when he’s been beaten.

“Olive, are you that serious about going?” he sighs, wrapping both arms around his fiancée’s back and shoulders as she drinks her seasonal hot cocoa.

“Yes, Adam! Let’s go see who we can open our home to!” Olive excitedly remarks, pressing a thick kiss to Adam’s cheek.

She could be quite convincing when she wanted to be.

           Adam Carlsen must admit that seeing Olive interacting with and holding various animals is indeed rather adorable and makes her even more irresistible to him. Currently, Olive is sitting in the middle of a pen filled with two litters of puppies, her laughter echoing as two puppies kiss her cheeks with their little tongues while another three tumble in her lap while a sixth pulls on her hair with sharp teeth.

“Olive, as adorable as you are, love, we agreed on no puppies,” Adam reminds, scooping the one puppy climbing up Olive’s back off of her to prevent the puppy from chewing on her hair.

Olive looks up at him holding the wriggling puppy and her heart swells at the sight of her well-known tough as nails fiancé pressing the chocolate-colored pup to his broad chest.

“Yes, I know, but they were just so cute that I had to play with them! That one seems to like you, Adam,” Olive smiles, love evident on every inch of her face.

“Yes, well,” Adam remarks, swallowing thickly as he hurriedly sets the puppy down before he and Olive can become too attached. “How about we go and look at the other animals to find one to possibly take home?” he smiles, offering Olive a hand up.

“I love you,” Olive grins, accepting the hand and pulling herself into his arms.

“I love you, too,” Adam breathes, encircling Olive’s waist with his hands.

Author’s Note: Adam and Olive are one of my book OTPs now and forevermore! I never realized how much I would have loved the fake dating trope prior to reading this novel! I had seen it recommended on all different forms of social media and thought I would give it a whirl. Needless to say, I read it in less than four days even with three of those four days being ones that I worked at the hospital as a nurse! (Getting up at 4:00 to leave for work by 5:00 has its perks sometimes…) The idea for this fic came to me one day on a drive to work because I absolutely think that Olive is more of a cat person than a dog person anyway and that given her past, Olive is all for adopting the animals from rescues or shelters that no one else wants.  (I have volunteered and fostered in animal rescue for nearly seven years now, so trust me when I say that everyone always wants the ”cute, small puppies and kittens” but hardly anyone wants to give the older, mature dogs and cats a chance. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this drabble! There are sure to be more Adam/Olive stories coming from me, as I already have several ideas for them already! thanks for asking and for waiting 🥰better late than never that they say... i wrote more than i tought i would so i put it under the cut ♥

(there was no signal at all so there weren't any lives i'm guessing) i arrived there late-ish and i was alone so while i tried to find a place towards the middle i ended up in the back of the venue, where i had more space, it wasn't as hot (it was REALLY hot, as you probably can tell by louis changing) and i could actually see the stage and not people heads.

this might be a bit of a disappointing recounting cause it's all a bit mixed up in my head. it was good, cause louis is always good live and he keeps improving, but i wasn't in the best place, phisically or mentally (i didn't even realize he didn't sing JHO until afterwards when i read about it... even asked if i could go sit upstairs after a few songs, but i was told there were no seats, which is a lie).

OTP were better than i remember, probably new songs? they started early, i did notice that 😂

my first thought was "wait is that PINK???" 😂 (now i know it wasn't pink but red but in my brain it is pink). it was amazing to start the show with we made it live, i got this mushy feeling "yes babe WE MADE IT" 🥺🥺🥺

after a few songs, since i was feeling better i decided to be bad and pretend i was looking for my friend, i got to a good place but got greedy and tried to keep going and i couldn't see anything again or remember where i was right before so... back to the back 😂 yes, i know, that wasn't nice of me, i'm not used to being at the back it felt weird.

overall my favorite memories are probably beautiful war, cause now that i know the lyrics and the melody i can focus on his voice and i closed my eyes and swayed there in the back and it feel so... beautiful and getting to hear copy live for the first time, finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm also very grateful that i was part of... OTB. i had a flag in barcelona, and held it very proudly first row, but it was nothing like how many flags there are right now. someone handed me both a orange sticker for my flashlight and a small lesbian flag and it's so nice to just... be there, and feel that sense of belonging.

i made a concious decision to not film (other than hoOoOme, i had to) or take many pictures so that helps making it feel even more unreal 😂 i focused on screaming at the top of my lungs and jumping and giving my everything (not for LBD, i sat in the floor for that one, sorry louis i can't support your wrongs this time).

i also didn't sang that line in habit and screamed louder than everyone else for the next part cause i wanted him to feel my love from the back of the venue and that i needed him in front of me. oh, and during TTD everyone went crazy the venue was vibrating... i saved energy for KMM. yeah. i'm petty.

anyway, the stage was brilliant. the lights and the screens and the fireworks and LOUIS. he was really small from where i was but he looked very pretty in the screens and in both outfits ☺️☺️

and yeah i thought i had less to say... i love louis so much ♥ and he sounded amazing ♥

Character ask: Mrs. Potts and Chip (Beauty and the Beast)

Favorite thing about them:

Mrs. Potts: Her kind, sensible, motherly nature. The men in the castle would be lost without her, and she's the ideal person to make Belle feel safe enough to gradually open her heart to the Beast. (Which is why the screenwriters created her.) Whenever any amateur critic accuses Beauty and the Beast of being a "not like other girls" movie, I always point to Mrs. Potts as a reminder that Belle isn't the only intelligent, positive female figure in the story.

Chip: How innocent and adorable he is, yet resourceful too, as he uses Maurice's invention to free Belle and Maurice from captivity at the climax.

(It's too bad that the stage musical and 2017 remake deprive him of that shining moment, either by cutting Belle and Maurice's imprisonment or by having them free themselves. Although I understand that it wouldn't have translated well into live action, especially not onstage.)

Least favorite thing about them: That Mrs. Potts doesn't share more conversations with Belle. The conversation they do share is good (and it makes the movie narrowly pass the Bechdel test), but I wish they talked later in the movie too: maybe a dressing room scene before the iconic dance to parallel the Beast's with Lumiere.

Three things I have in common with them:

*Like Mrs. Potts, I enjoy taking care of others.

*Like Chip, I can be playful and fun-loving.

*Like both, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Three things I don't have in common with them:

*I've never been transformed into crockery.

*I'm not a servant in a castle.

Random headcanon: Chip is adopted. This explains how Mrs. Potts can be his mother when she looks older than childbearing age. In the animated canon, she might even have adopted him all by herself – there might never have been a Mr. Potts. In past centuries, housekeepers were traditionally called "Mrs." as a matter of respect, even if they never married.

(That said, I don't agree with the fan theory that the Prince is Chip's real father by some peasant girl. The Beast's uncertainty of how to approach Belle and reliance on his servants' advice wouldn't make sense if he were a womanizer when he was human.)

Unpopular opinion: I'm not sure if this is unpopular or just disagreeing with some loud critics, but... They're true friends to Belle. They genuinely like her and care about her, as a person and not just as a potential spell-breaker. Some of the movie's detractors complain that the servants "only" befriend Belle because they want her to break the spell, but I think that's nonsense! The way that Mrs. Potts and Chip in particular speak to Belle and interact with her shows that they genuinely care about her.

Yeah, I love this pairing and these characters. Sue me. I'm still upset there's no Freedom Fighters-centric series, and probably always will be.

General:

How long will they last? - Roughly: yes. They'll last forever, and then a little bit longer than that, too.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - They fell pretty quickly into being best friends, and they were those super touchy best friends (napping other's shoulders, feet in the lap, holding hands, etc.) that literally everyone they know is just waiting for them to get together. It took them a couple years to finally bridge the gap; they've both lost so much in their lives, and they want to be sure that this isn't something they'll lose.

How was their first kiss? - The one they remember is on the steps of an inn in the middle of nowhere on the road to Ba Sing Se; Longshot was being an idiot, so Smellerbee (literally) slapped some sense into him, then just kissed him. So, kinda hard. Their . first kiss, one they both barely remember and are certain is just a dream, was back in the Freedom Fighters' hideout. They'd slept together (and I do actually mean slept - this is before they got together) that night, it's early in the morning, first light peaking through the gaps in the wood planks, and they just…kiss. Neither of them really expect it or intend for it, and nothing really comes of it - but it's their first. (And yes, there is a moment where they repeat it, and suddenly they remember.)

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Longshot. It wasn't fancy or complicated or anything, he just kind of...said it one day. He simply signed, 'Marry me', and Smellerbee wasn't sure she understood him correctly until he spoke, asking the same question. (She instantly said yes.)

Who is the best man/men? - Jet, Pipsqueak and the Duke ("package deal" they said), and his childhood friend, Chang (he is an OC, deal with it). Longshot's three closest friends.

Who is the bride’s maid(s)? - Longshot's older sister, Tomiko (also an OC) and Toph, probably.

Who did the most planning? - Smellerbee; it's her day, really, and Longshot just wants the love of his life to be happy.

Who stressed the most? - Honestly? Neither was really stressed at all.

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - They split it pretty evenly, but Smellerbee forces Longshot to take care of it at night (that she wakes him up so easily is something everyone says is amazing, because Longshot sleeps like the dead, and no one else can do it).

Who is the stricter parent? - Longshot, generally, but that's not saying much; he just doesn't want the kids to be out adding to the population, subtracting from it, and staying out of jail and the hospital.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Both, but they really don't have any room to talk. They did spend years living in trees and getting around with jury-rigged ziplines that weren't exactly what you'd call "compliant with OSHA".

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - He's normally up, so Longshot does it, but it's Smellerbee who makes the food (see below).

Who is the more loved parent? - It's Smellerbee; she gets in almost as much trouble as the kids do. (Who do you think gave them the idea in the first place?)

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Longshot; Smellerbee goes if they need to threaten school administration into not being stupid.

Who cried the most at graduation? - Longshot's stoic as hell, but he cried like a baby for every single graduation.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Well, Smellerbee is probably in jail with the kids, so it's normally Longshot.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Longshot is...kinda banned from cooking. For life. One too many incidents involving burned soup, near-forest-fires, and Jet lacking eyebrows for a month convinced the Freedom Fighters that he should not be anywhere near a kitchen. And Smellerbee likes their house a lot, so she maintains the ban.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Longshot grew up in the FN colonies. The boy needs his spicy food. Smellerbee, not so much - she'll eat just about anything.

Who does the grocery shopping? - Together, when they can.

How often do they bake desserts? - They both have a massive sweet tooth, so they make desserts constantly. They always have mooncakes or fire-flakes or...whatever, really.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Meat. Always meat for them. They'll eat salad sometimes, but rarely.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Longshot always remembers things like that, but he doesn’t cook, so when he does get together a full dinner spread, it’s a big day. It's also usually takeout (kitchen ban), but Smellerbee doesn't hold that against him.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Neither, really, although they try to make an occasion of it once every week or two, just so they can go see their friends in town.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - Longshot, by a large margin (see above). Smellerbee isn't the best cook in the world, but she can avoid getting rid of forests and eyebrows.

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Whichever one gets to it, first.

Who is really against chores? - They're just happy to have a place to live; they'll gladly take care of it.

Who cleans up after the pets? - Again, whichever gets to it first.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Considering how long it took him to admit that he had a crush on Bee, it's probably Longshot.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - They don't really have guests, and when they do, it's normally one of the kids coming by or one of the Freedom Fighters, occasionally one of the members of Team Avatar. So they don't really stress too hard.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Longshot found it, gave it to Bee.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Bee really hates being cold, so she stays in the warmth as long as she possibly can.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - He just kinda walks himself, honestly. They both like going out with him, but...separately. They each use it as their personal time.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - They only do the big ones - Lunar New Year and Winter Solstice - but they go all out for them.

What are their goals for the relationship? - They spent so much of their lives just trying to survive, one day to the next, and all they really want is time to relax.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Longshot may sleep like the dead, but he's up at sunrise every day. Bee, on the other hand, well she'd sleep until noon every day if she had the choice.

Who plays the most pranks? - Smellerbee. She was born a troublemaker, and she stays that way her entire life. She's playing pranks into her 80s.

A quick analysis of the puppy scene in 3x15, because my OTP is perfect.

This is honestly just a whole lot of gushing and flailing, tbh. Because Kurt and Blaine and their relationship are wonderful and I love them so, so much. So much so that I can write paragraphs on a scene that is barely one minute long. 

This somehow ended up being much longer than I intended, oops. Hope you enjoy it :)

We start off this scene with Blaine alone at his locker, presumably putting away his belongings from his last class, and you can still see Kurt’s ‘Gay-diddy-gay-gay-gay’ class council election poster on the inside of Blaine’s locker, even months after Kurt lost the election. But Blaine still keeps it up, because he loves Kurt, and if he had it his way, Kurt would win everything. Awww. He appears to be deep in thought, and when Kurt hides behind Blaine’s locker, speaking in the world’s most adorably terrible British accent, it startles Blaine for a second.

And man, does that make me sad. This is a kid that has been bullied, undoubtedly shoved into lockers and pushed here and there just like Kurt was. He hears an unfamiliar voice and immediately flinches back in fear, expecting the worst. 

But it isn’t the worst - it’s the best. Because it’s Kurt, the person Blaine loves more than anything, hiding behind the locker, and it’s Kurt speaking in that cute-ass accent holding a stuffed puppy in front of his face. 

(Side note - I once read that Chris Colfer improvised the dialogue and accent of this scene, as well as coming up with the name for the puppy, which totally checks out since Chris is a huge Anglophile.)

And as soon as Blaine recognizes his boyfriend, his face breaks out into the sunniest smile, and he does his signature “Kurt-made-me-laugh” move, the blushy head-duck (see here for reference). 

Kurt also looks similarly delighted to see Blaine, because Blaine is lovely and Kurt loves him so, so much, and because he’s also excited to show Blaine the gift he got him and help Blaine out with his problems. Kurt really loves Blaine, y’all. He looks so damn proud of the stuffed animal he got for him and equally proud of his own ability to make Blaine laugh with his clever puns. 

Kurt goes on to explain that Finn won the stuffed puppy while out at the amusement park for Senior Skip Day, along with thirteen others for Rachel, and as soon as he says this, Blaine nods along as if to say - oh, of course, that Rachel - because Blaine is considerate as hell and knows his friends very well. And in honest-to-god Kurt fashion, bb stole the puppy from his brother, because Kurt is the definition of Be Gay, Do Crime, and he also recognizes that Rachel does not need 14 different stuffed animals. 

He pouts a little right then, telling Blaine that he wanted to give it to him so that Blaine would have something, since Kurt wasn’t able to convince Blaine to go with them on the field trip. I wonder how that conversation went. 

Also, pouty Kurt is fucking adorable. Protect him at all costs.

Blaine is melancholy again, telling Kurt that he would have just brought the mood down for the group. And when Blaine says this? Kurt stops beating around the bush and gets straight to the point. 

Sweetly stroking the stuffed puppy, Kurt tells Blaine that he understands him. That he gets that family problems are hard, because they’re hard for him too. He uses himself as an example to try and get his point across to Blaine more effectively, and mentions that he and Finn disagree on nearly everything, but at the end of the day, they love one another and are always there for one another despite their differences. 

I’m also getting so many brotherly Furt feelings from Kurt referring to Finn as “the big lug” and talking about how much he loves him. Ugh. I also cry at the line where Kurt tells Blaine that he only has one brother and shouldn’t give up on that, given what happens to Finn. I wish we’d gotten more of that relationship in canon before Cory’s untimely passing, because they clearly had so much love for one another, both on-screen and off.

Anyway, Kurt sees the love he has with his brother and wants Blaine to be able to experience the same thing, because he loves Blaine so, so much and he thinks that Blaine deserves everything great in this world. He also brings back the cute-ass accent, and upon seeing Blaine look upset, bumps Margaret Thatcher Dog against Blaine’s cheek to get him to smile again - which Blaine absolutely does; his face is bright and sunny again because of Kurt’s silliness. Awww. 

Kurt tells Blaine never to give up, and Blaine indignantly responds that Cooper is the one who is leaving for a big audition. Kurt pauses, and tells Blaine that Cooper hasn’t actually left him yet. He says that Cooper is waiting in the auditorium, hoping that Blaine will come and talk to him and make things right. This line very strongly implies that Kurt and Cooper coordinated this, and that Kurt made an effort of talking to Cooper to try and arrange a meeting with Blaine - because in a matter of mere days, Kurt was able to glean how important their relationship was to Blaine and wanted to do everything he could to fix it. Give him all the boyfriend awards, folks.

I’m kidding. Please don’t start the Better Boyfriend Olympics again, lol.

Blaine huffs out that talking doesn’t actually work with Cooper, and that he’s tried it to no avail. And Kurt just nods knowingly, as if he was aware that Blaine would say that. And though it isn’t explicitly mentioned, I bet he did know. He then goes on to say that perhaps talking isn’t the best answer for Blaine. Maybe there’s something else, a better method of communicating his feelings that would work more for Blaine. 

Okay. You know what this reminds me of? Flash back a year, to Silly Love Songs. This is (perhaps unintentionally) a direct callback to 2x12. Back when Blaine was still crushing on someone who is not Kurt, he said this to the Warblers about his idea to serenade Jeremiah. 

Blaine (2011): I'm not really good at talking about my feelings. I'm much better at singing them.

And here are Kurt’s words, from more than a year later. 

Kurt (2012): Maybe talking is not the answer. Maybe you need to show him how you really feel in the best, most honest way you know how. 

Can I just stop right here and squeal a little bit? Because Kurt knows his boyfriend so, so well. He remembers the things that Blaine tells him, even things from over a year ago. He holds onto this key piece of information about Blaine, because Blaine is important to him and the things he tells Kurt are worth remembering. And here, in this scene, he puts his memory to good use to try and remind Blaine of his most effective and heartfelt form of communication so that he can help Blaine mend fences with his brother. 

GIVE HIM THE BOYFRIEND AWARDS, FOLKS!

Kurt is so, supportive of Blaine and just wants the best for him, and it just boggles my mind when people claim that Kurt didn’t love Blaine as much as Blaine loved him, because from even short simple scenes like this one, anyone can tell that it isn’t true. 

After listening to Kurt, Blaine stops, and for the first time, genuinely considers it. Prior to this, all of Cooper’s attempts at talking couldn’t get through to him. Blaine still felt the jealousy and resentment from all those years growing up. But after hearing Kurt’s advice, he puts that aside and realizes that some things, like family, are more important, and so he makes that decision to go see his brother and try and express his feelings in a different way. 

Blaine turns to go meet Cooper, and Kurt watches him go, looking so damn proud of his boyfriend and so, so hopeful...

Y’all know what happens next. Blaine and Cooper, a pair of brothers, sing a breakup song. Yet somehow, it works. Singing manages to communicate all of those emotions that were suppressed before, and opens the doors for real conversation between the two of them. They do successfully patch things up, with Cooper finally recognizing Blaine’s talent and Blaine trying to support Cooper in future endeavors. They are on a path to a close relationship, which is all both of them had ever really wanted in the first place. 

And if not for Kurt’s advice, this may not have happened. Y’all heard that right - Kurt Hummel helped Blaine patch things up with a member of his family because he knew how important it was to Blaine, and he knew how badly Blaine wanted this even if Blaine didn’t let it show. From all the bits and pieces of information we’ve gathered over the years about Blaine’s family, they don’t appear to be all that close, which is why it’s even more important for Blaine that he is able to reconcile with his brother.

So...what was the point of this analysis? I’m not quite sure. I suppose I just had a lot of feelings about Blaine, Klaine, family, and the way that Kurt shows love. Like I’ve said millions of times, just because Kurt is more subtle in the way that he shows love to Blaine, doesn’t mean that it’s any less powerful. Scenes like this, in which he handpicks Blaine’s own words and uses them to push Blaine towards something he was too afraid to admit he really wanted? Kurt helping reconcile Blaine with his family? This is Klaine at its best, and scenes like this are why I will always, always ship this couple. 

Kurt and Blaine are incredible, y’all.

I'm really bored so I wanted to do some "OTP questions" for some pairings with Nor (I took different questions from pics I saved years ago and can't find original author, sorry)

Starting with ScotNor since me and @agnessieart have been talking about it a lot lately...

Pls remember that my Nor is totally a bottom hoe so yeah my view of a pairing might be really different from others xd

1. Big Spoon/Little Spoon

Scot enjoys spooning Nor, and him being quite "bigger" than his Norwegian bf helps a lot. Tho it causes problems for Nor who, most of the times, finds it unable to move cause of this.

2. Favourite non sexual activity

They have a lot of activities they enjoy doing together, most of which consist of being among the nature. Like hiking, having picnics or just watching the stars.

3. Who worries the most?

Equally. The only difference is that Scot would actively show how worried he is and Nor tends to keep everything for himself.

4. Who initiates kisses?

90% of the times - Scot. He doesn't care about place, time or other things. If he wants a kiss - he'll make sure to get it.

5. Who reaches for the other's hand first?

Nor. Usually, he does it, cause holding hands makes him feel much calmer during uncomfortable situations. Or, sometimes he does it, just cause he wants to. No reason.

6. Who wakes up first?

If there is work that needs to be done - Nor. He likes to sort out everything early and leave most of the day free. If there's no work - Scot. And don't he even dare to wake Nor before 1 pm. He'll get destroyed.

7. Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines?

Absolutely Scot. (He secretly owns a notebook where he writes his best pick up lines to use them later)

8. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other's ear during inappropriate times?

Both. 100% both. Tho, while both being used to it, whenever Scot whispers smth to him - Nor would remain calm. It's not smth that amuses him. But Scot, whenever Nor would do this to him, would find it hard not to just grab and take Nor into closest free room.

9. Who is the most likely to carry the other?

Scot. Bonus point is that Nor l o v e s to be carried around. Preferably - bridal style.

10. Who proposes?

Scot does. They would sit somewhere drinking coffee and Scot would tell Nor that damn, he doesn't like Nor's surname at all. And as Nor is prepared to splash that idiot with hot coffee, Scot would look in his eyes and say "But you can always take mine" and pull out a ring.

They're idiots, I love them.

11. Who kills the scary bugs?

No one. Nor prohibited it - if he really doesn't like whatever bug or insect he found in the house - he would take it outside. (Also, Scot secretly is afraid of spiders)

12. Who does the others hair?

Both. Tho, Nor does it much more often, since Scot has a hella long n i c e hair. He enjoys just sitting here, listening to music or whatever is on TV and do braids. Sometimes, Scot would do some braids for Nor back.

13. Who would have to bail the other out of jail?

Nor. Probably Scot got drunk and did smth stupid and illegal. Again.

14. Who would sing their child to sleep?

(No, not me already having a design of their lovekid, not me)

Scot. He has a really nice voice for lullabies!

15. Who covers the other person with a blanket, when they fall asleep somewhere other than their bed?

Nor. Simple cause Scot would just carry him back to their bedroom. Nor would either sleep next to him, if the space allows it, or cover him with a blanket and go happily sleep on the huge bed all by his own.

16. Who would have really deep thoughts in the middle of the night?

Both. Probably thinking about their past and history and stuff like this. If the other one would notice this - they would try to comfort them and get them back to sleep.

17. Who is scared of thunderstorms?

None. But Nor feels really uncomfortable during them, if he's alone. So, he'll ask Scot to stay with him, until it's over. And you bet Scot will comply, even if he has work to do. His lover's comfort is more important.

18. Who wears the other ones clothes?

Nor. He steals a lot of things from Scot, honestly. T-shirts, hoodies, etc. He'd wear them around the house, and no, Scot, you're not getting it back even if you'll ask. (Also, Scot, you can try out some of Nor's clothes, but I don't think they're quite your size...)

19. Who sings along the radio?

Scot, if it's a car radio. And he does it very loudly. Like, loudly enough for people in other cars to hear him.

Nor, if it's a radio somewhere in the house. He would quietly hum lyrics, lost somewhere in his thoughts.

20. Who falls asleep while watching a movie?

Nor, if they're watching it at home. I mean, won't you fall asleep, being under a blanket and being hugged by your beloved one?

Scot, if they went to the cinema to watch it. He can't help it, it's like some sort of a habit.

You want all of them??? Yeah okay. It's long so they are under the cut. Enjoy.

1. Are they more "cute forehead kisses" or "hot making out" kind of couple? Maybe one prefers first option and the other one the second? How do they deal, in that case?

I think Maverick wants to be the couple that makes out all the time and at the start of the relationship, that's what it was. But Iceman quickly burned out and after talking about it, they agreed to maybe limit making out to the bedroom.

Until fall 2011 and then they made out in public for until the end of the year. They would've kept going but then Maverick got burned out that time. Then they became the more gentle kisses couple.

2. If they wanted to shower their significant other with affection, how would they do that? Dinner in some fancy restaurant, gift, kisses and cuddles or an evening together on a couch with hot tea and very intimate talk?

Maverick is totally the type of dude to see like a rock and just give it to his partner and be like "This reminded me of you." He does it with small knickknacks he see in stores too. When he goes shopping with Carole he almost always picks up something for Ice as well. Iceman just sighs and says "Thanks Maverick." But he keeps almost of them in his desk drawer. The bigger stuff is on display at his place.

Iceman tends to give Maverick back rubs after a long day, sometimes they go out eat in fancy places when they travel. But the thing Maverick loves is when Iceman sings him to sleep. Sleeping is hard for Maverick so to hear him sing, really just puts him in a good mood.

3. Are they comfortable with showing each other affection in public? If one is and the other one not, how do they interact in public?

Fall 2011 is like the first time Iceman ever did any sort of kissing in public, but after being forced to hold back for years, he really made up for lost time. Before then they did hug each other, but it was always careful, timed out, never TOO long.

After that it was hand holding and Ice would put his arm around Maverick in front of the students every so often. It amused Iceman how many of them where stunned into silence. Until one of them asked if that's the key to winning the trophy and broke the tension. Somehow one person out of every class asks that question.

4. Do they have pet names? Do they like to embarrass each other in front of their friends/family/coworkers with some silly ones? Or do they keep it with basics, like "sweetheart" or "honey"?

Mav and Ice are really the only things they call each other in public. Sometimes their last names as well. Ice does like to call Maverick an idiot but affectionately.

5. If one of them was away for longer time, like a week, how their significant other would greet them back?

In public, a greeting would be a handshake, maybe a hug if it has been more than a week. But alone? Kisses and cuddling. Maybe more if the arrival isn't too tired.

6. How often do they say "I love you" to one another? On daily basics, leaving to work, with a kiss on a cheek and quick "love u, bye!" or it's more rare and more emotional?

At the beginning not so much. But then they start saying in private a lot. Every day for the most part.

The first time they said in public was Maverick screaming it on the beach and Iceman just laughing, and softly saying that he loves him too.

7. Do they keep track of each other during the day? Asking how is that important meeting going and texting "I <3 u"? Or they just text each other grocery list and talk when they are both home?

So this is a modern question. Maverick sends Iceman a ton of memes. In fact he sends very few words and just asks questions via memes and gifs. It wears Iceman out when Mav has to send his question word by word by using gifs. If it is more than five in a row, Iceman just calls.

Iceman writes out texts with full grammar. Although sometimes he sends Maverick Selfies, as a treat. And some other things if he knows Maverick is home ;)

8. How long into their relationship they are, when they say "I love you" for the first time? Who says that first? In what situation?

I think for the first few months of dating, neither says it. Maverick is still pretty damaged from the events of Top Gun and while he has opened himself up to friendship and well, sleeping with Ice. Saying it? That was another matter. I like to imagine Iceman said it first, maybe after a talk with Slider about it. As scary as it is, Ice realizes that Maverick needs to hear that he loves him and well just needs to hear that someone loves him in general, much more often than he does.

Iceman doesn't actually say it, he sings it. And when he does Maverick stares at him in amazement. Iceman tells him that he doesn't need to hear it back, if he isn't ready.

9. Do they have some unusual ways of saying "I love you"? Squeezing hands, that they both know what means?

Maverick spelled it out in cookies with cookies from the cookie jar the next morning. From then on they did a lot of sticky note love messages. But I think they just smile at while flying, a lot.

10. How they show affection to the other one in everyday life? Do they cook dinner for each other? Or wash the dishes, even though it's not their turn, cause they know the other one hates it?

Maverick sometimes sneaks out of bed in the middle of the night to do laundry and he folds all the clothes. As much as Iceman likes his clothes folded a certain way, he likes waking up to an empty clothes basket even more.

Iceman will help Maverick do his paper work. Maverick really doesn't like paper work.

I was talking about Servamp’s character songs with my friend. It just hit me. “When are we getting character songs for Illdio and Niccolo and a pairing song?!” Last year, we had a CD drama featuring them so Tanaka have thought of VAs for them. Both Junichi Suwabe (Illdio) and Kengo Kawanishi (Niccolo) have done a few anime songs before.

While we’re at it, can we get a new album with

1. Gluttony Pair finally getting songs like I mentioned. Their arc isn’t finished so it’ll be difficult to get an accurate idea of how their song would go and incorporate their resolution. Some aspects that we get from the manga that could be included is Illdio’s “My one rule is don’t hurt animal, kids or children”; Niccolo’s “Illdio doesn’t have any expectation of me”; and Hyde’s “To be found by someone”. Illdio: “You found me in the strangest way. You were the first who never broke my rule to not hurt others. Niccolo, you went beyond my expectation. That’s why it hurt all the more when you betrayed my expectation” Niccolo: “You found me when I was vulnerable and saved me. I know you don’t have expectation of me but I want us to fight together.”

2. Sloth Pair version 2 and their thoughts on everything that is happening London. The KuroMahi shipper in my constantly have their songs on repeat in my head XD They’re mostly revolved around chapter 31 and how Mahiru helped Kuro move past his guilt and such. Now, we can have a song like that for Mahiru and he can express how much Kuro has brought warmth into his life. Mahiru: “We’re more than just a contract. More than just Servamp and Eve. The answer is us. I know I’ll never be alone now that I have you.” I also want to see Kuro have a character song based on his thoughts during his fight with Sloth. “I couldn’t face my past before. Now I’m strong with Mahiru’s support. I only need to hear him call my name for strength.”

3. A song of JeJe’s perspective. The last album did include Mikuni but I don’t recall JeJe singing or having a song centered around him. The theme could be how JeJe desperately want to keep Mikuni from falling and being corrupted by Envy. As hard as he tries, he also blames himself for what happened that night. “I put you on this path. I know you’re better than this. I don’t know if I can lead you back to the right path but I’ll walk down this road with you.”

4. LawLicht is my OTP. Give them another song. That’s it. LawLicht had a wonderful arc and their story is mostly completed so they don’t have much material to work off for a song. But they’re my OTP and I will mine through the manga for any material to have Hyde singing to Licht. Since Hyde’s character arc is completed, he is a major character who can help others develop like a possible interaction with Illdio. “I was found by Licht. He changed my life. It’s because of him that I can stand before you now. Kuro. Illdio. My family.”
